Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
All right, let's go Happy Tuesday. Thank you for being here.
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Lady Gaga is going to release a new song, dead
Dance for Wednesday season two, so according to Variety, two
sources confirmed that the song and music video are expected
to be released next month to coincide with Lady Gaga's
debut as Rosalie Rotwood. She's going to be an legendary
never more teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday in this series.
(00:30):
Part one of the series comes out tomorrow, so Part
two isn't coming out till later on in September, which
is when we think is when Gaga is going to
make her debut. So just keep that in mind. She
won't be like, right out the gate, here's Lady Gaga
kind of vibes. You gotta wait a little while to
see her in the series. Mark your calendars now. National
Zoo Zoo's Zoo Illumination, Oh my goodness, too many zoos.
(00:54):
National Zoo's Zoo Lumination. Their tickets go on sale next month.
Zulumina is the country's largest lantern festival. It has over
one thousand custom made soak lanterns. The event's going to
happen nightly November thirteenth through January fourth. Tickets go on
sale September seventeenth, though on the National Zoos website. You're
(01:14):
gonna want to grab those. This is a big deal.
This one's huge every year, so grab your tickets early
and fast. And Ikea and best Buy have teamed up
for a new shop in shop concept. So the idea
is that there is one inside of the other, so
it's just one big shop but everything you need. So
starting this fall, ten best Buy locations in Florida and
(01:34):
Texas are going to have a thousand square foot Ikea
shop in shop spaces so you can design everything you need,
pick out appliances, and everything like that all in one spot.
This partnership makes it obviously a lot easier to do that.
This is like an upgrade to what they typically do,
and if it all works out the way that they
think it's going to, you can expect that this is
(01:56):
going to be a more common situation and they'll probably
end up rolling this out in more places across the country. Obviously,
anything that's gonna make my leve easier I'm on board for.
So I love this idea, Sanchez, and those are the
three things you need.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
To know Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
It's one of.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Seven five of the river we're about to do. Did
you hear this is a news story that you may
not heard of, but we feel like you should know
all the details about Zach has found one today. Go ahead, Zach.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Okay, did you guys hear? Then?
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Apparently if you want to become a father, or if
you're trying to have a baby right now, do not
eat bacon, because they're saying that apparently processed foods like
bacon kind of kill the testosterone, and so if you
do not eat bacon or sausage or processed foods, you're
twenty eight percent more likely to be able to actually.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Have a baby.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
And you said if you're going to be a father,
So this is for guys.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Yeah, it's for guys.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Okay, So ladies, keep chowing down on that bacon, fellas, you.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Can eat as much bacon as you want. Guys, stop it.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Okay, interesting, I mean, processed foods have plenty of things
in there that we should not be eating anyways, So
that does make sad.
Speaker 5 (03:11):
I thought it was so interesting that they like specifically.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Caught out bacon. Yeah, there's so many other processed foods.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
I don't want to make everybody start throwing things at me,
people to turn off their radiohusband, as the resident vegetarian, like,
you know, this is not that shocking to me. You know,
I've watched enough documentaries and read enough books about the
effects of.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Both Zach and I are.
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Ey's solid from there. I'm saying, well, this is unfortunately
more evidence on your side.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yeah, yeah, thank you for this breaking news.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Ricky, Zach and Menno.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
In the morning Heaven is smiling ear to ear. He
looks the happiest I've seen.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
Him, and we it's kind of freaking me out.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yes, miss morning, I woke up smiling and whistling and
all the things. Man, I'm gonna tell you after SHABBOOZI.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Do you ever whistle when you're happy?
Speaker 3 (04:10):
As I do not whistle as a happy person, but hey,
whatever you do, Kevin, I was a.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
Cartoon character this morning getting out of bed.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
I was feeling it. I've got that good news that
Shabboozy is looking for. Right after this song, I'll tell
you why I'm so happy today.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
I know I'm not the only one.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Ricky, Zach and men in the morning has been smiling
NonStop this morning, and it's kind of freaking Zach and
I out a little bit.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
I'm legitimately terrified.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
It's Ricky, Zach and manno in the morning on one
of seven five the river. Why are you smiling so
much today? And I know it's not because you saw
our beautiful faces?
Speaker 7 (04:47):
Well no, I mean.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
That's always a part of it. You can just make
me smile every day, but you days so much. That's
a much better reason.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
I know.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
I know I'm not the only parent out there waking
up feeling this way this morning, but so many kids
are going.
Speaker 7 (05:01):
Back to school.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Finally, today is the day?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Sound like so much fun.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
This summer was particularly hard in the Manor household we moved.
Speaker 7 (05:12):
The kids had.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Ten times more screen time than I would have liked
them to have. The iPad I want to throw their
iPads off of the Batman.
Speaker 7 (05:20):
Building I hate.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I don't give unsolicited parenting advice often, but if you
are a young parent, hold off on the iPads as
long as you possibly can it with.
Speaker 7 (05:31):
Such a mistake. So many of Molliy and Riley's.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Friends don't have them, and I am so jealous of
those families.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Oh okay, so okay, that's a good tip. Hold off
as long as you possibly can with.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Not to make the whole thing about iPads, but I
would rather they sit and watch a show than sit
there and watch these short little videos on YouTube and
all this minecraft's zapping their attentions.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
Police, I have a question, Yeah, do you hate your
kids for them to go back to school because they need.
Speaker 7 (06:00):
The structure, the socialization, all the things.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Like it's just been because you want them out of
your hair.
Speaker 7 (06:06):
I mean, yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Think that's fair.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
It's hard to get things done when they're there. I
love my kids so much. I love hanging out with them,
playing with them, but all day, every day, you know,
gets to be like we didn't really do summer camps
this summer.
Speaker 7 (06:20):
It's just been kind of.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Kevin's exhausted something.
Speaker 7 (06:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
This is the perk of being gay, is I don't
have to deal with the kids.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Yeah, Like I don't have kids.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
I mean gay couples also have kids.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
I mean they can if they have a lot of money,
which I don't have.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
So but I'm just saying there's.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Also plenty of gay couples who have kids as well.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
But you can't have an oopsy that's true.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
That's true. You can't have an oopsy. That's that's I
think what he's getting at here.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Can't be clear that my kids were not oopsy. And
once again, I loved them very much. I didn't exactly
know how to respond to Zach as.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
A kid who was an oopsie. I don't feel bad
about it, So nothing to worry about there. Bottom line
is that Kevin is smiling ear to ear. He's very
excited to have some time to himself, and I don't
think there's anything wrong with that.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
I'll make you guys smile now too. I mean, feel
back the curtain a bit. Working in radio, you know,
summer's a little bit tough because people are of their
routines and they're not in the car, they're not taking
the kids to school. So welcome back everybody as we
settle back into another school.
Speaker 7 (07:23):
Year, normal routine.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Honey.
Speaker 7 (07:25):
It's nice.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
It's nice when when everybody gets back to school and
those routines come back.
Speaker 7 (07:29):
So welcome back, friends.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
And if you're in the car with your kids, tell
them that you love them.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Right now.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
Things you need to know I just.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Past seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning. Thank you for
being here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Chaperone is given an update on her second album, and
it's kind of going to be a bummer for a
lot of you. But she told Vogue there is quote
no collections of songs for her second album. She followed
up by saying that it took her five years to
make her first one, The Rise and Fall of a
Midwest Princess, and it's probably going to take another five
to write enough for another album, So everybody's gonna be
(08:08):
patient with her and the time that it takes her
to actually come out with her second album. She said
that she keeps seeing all these things on social media
of everyone saying, oh, Travele's everywhere but in the studio.
But she said she can't just churn out these songs
like she's not a machine. It takes her some time.
So it's gonna be a little while till we get
another album from her.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
I kind of respect that that's why so many people,
so many bands, so many artists put out their first
album and it's like a classic, and then they have to.
Speaker 7 (08:34):
Instantly follow it up.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
They've had their whole life to work on this debut
album exactly.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
So it's gonna take her time. We just got to
be patient. There will be probably singles here and there.
She's already come out with a few, so like, just
keep that in mind. Tomato Art Festival is happening this
weekend in East Nashville Saturday and Sunday. It's gonna be
filled with tomato themed art. It's books always amazing, and
I miss it every year because I end up being
(08:59):
away every single time. I'm so upset about it. But
the two day festival has concerts, it's free to attend,
all are welcome, costumes are encouraged. They have fun little
contests that have to do with costumes and other things
like local music, all sorts of stuff. Go check it out.
It really does look like so much fun, and it's
just such a bummer that I miss it every year.
(09:19):
One year. I'm eventually gonna go one year, so you can.
Speaker 7 (09:23):
You can dream.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Sour Patch Kids have a new candy coming this Halloween.
This is fun and it totally fits the Sour Patch
Kids theme. But they're called sour Patch Kids monster Heads,
so it's the same typical little gummies, but they have huge,
enlarged heads on them. They come in three flavors, watermelon, orange, orange,
(09:45):
black raspberry, and black raspberry watermelon. It looks like they're
gonna be hitting stores at the end of this month.
They're obviously going to be perfect for Halloween. I love
seeing all the Halloween things starting to come out. Now,
that's how you know that, you know it's almost fall.
It's almost here. But these are their new edition for
this year's lineup. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
three things you.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Need to know.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Thank you so much, Ricky, appreciate that. Right after Sailor song,
Zax Got Effect. Jax Got Effect, Zax Got Effect. Zax'
got effect just for you.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
That's our song. Zax Facts.
Speaker 8 (10:17):
Next on the Word on the River, Ricky, Zach and
Menno in the Morning Time for.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Zack's facts on one oh seven five the River, which
you got buddy.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
This is so insane to me, but apparently the heart
of a blue whale can weigh up to four hundred pounds.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
That makes sense.
Speaker 5 (10:34):
They're huge, I mean they are huge, but like four
hundred pounds for just the heart.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
I feel like that whale should have a show on
TLC my four hundred pound heart.
Speaker 7 (10:43):
Yo.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
I you know I love TLC so much.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
I watched thousand Pounds, Sisters, thousand pounds, best Friends, like
all of the things.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
So I would definitely watch that.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
Just to give you a little bit of an idea.
A blue whale can be two hundred and ninety thousand
pounds to three hundred and thirty thousand pounds, don't.
Speaker 7 (11:04):
Yeah, I would watch that show.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
That's absolutely insane. And their heart is four hundred of
the pounds. Yep. And that's your fact.
Speaker 8 (11:14):
In the Day the River Ricky, Zach and Menno In
the morning, it.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Is officially fair season. The fairs are starting all over
Middle Tennessee. It's one of seven five of the River.
We want to know your go to favorite fair food
ride oreo. Okay, Zach didn't have to think about it
at all. He knew immediately what it was going to
be because that's honestly my favorite part of the fair.
Speaker 7 (11:38):
The food. The food.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Yeah, food in general is my favorite part of the fair.
Speaker 7 (11:42):
Are you into the fried oreos as much as Zach is?
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Though I can't eat fright oreos, but when I could, yes,
I love it.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
I honestly, don't think that anybody is excited about a
fried oreo than I am.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
I can tell from the way you just screamed, fed oreo.
Speaker 7 (11:56):
What is the food that you have to have when
you go to the fair? That's we want to know
right now.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Six one five seven three seven one.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Chee zach and meno in the morning, it's one o seven.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Five of the river. We are so excited because it
is officially fair season. All of the fairs are popping
up around Middle Tennessee, and we want to know what
your go to favorite fair food is. Acy in Nashville.
My fa is a funnel cake.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
I love a funnel cake, a classic.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
That's a good choice.
Speaker 7 (12:30):
Do you like a lot of powdered sugar onund there? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (12:32):
Okay, So I have.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
A question though, like, how do you feel about their
red velvet funnel cakes?
Speaker 4 (12:38):
No, that's that's all.
Speaker 7 (12:42):
Get that out of her face.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
Our girl, Acy likes it very simple, just a regular
funnel cake.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
I like it. I am so sorry, Acy.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Thank you so much for calling in. Yeah, I have
a great day today.
Speaker 7 (12:56):
She hung up on us.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Hey Easton, tell us your favorite fair food funnel cakes
to be a classic one? That everybody loves.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
We are two for two, so I have to ask
the question down you feel about ride velvet funnel cake.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
You have to go to the class. You can't go
with the new style. The new has to be you
have to go to the old.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
Yeah, Okay, again, my bad.
Speaker 7 (13:26):
I think you should stop trying with that question, Zach,
he said, thank.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
You for calling, buddy.
Speaker 7 (13:31):
Mine would be a fried pickle. I guess that's my
go to.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
I love me, But like pickles, you can get in
other places. It's not just strictly the fair.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
You can literally get it anywhere, Kevin, But I don't
I mean again, I feel like this has been the
theme of the day today. You guys given me a
hard time about making healthy choices. But I don't usually
get like fried food just on a regular basis.
Speaker 7 (13:53):
I wait for the fair.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
I literally thought you were going to say, like, oh,
my favorite thing of the fair.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
Is bottled water, like that's how classy you are.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
But there is nothing better than a nice cold water
on a hot day at the fair.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Be quiet.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
If anybody else has their favorite fair food that isn't
funnel cake or fried pickles, call us six one, five,
seven through seven, nine, seven the River, Ricky, Zach and
the Little Bit and Murphy's Borough. Welcome to one oh
seven five the River. What is your favorite fair food?
Speaker 9 (14:24):
I have to say it fride oreos.
Speaker 10 (14:26):
I always get really excited about this them.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
Even make them at home.
Speaker 5 (14:30):
Sometimes, Elizabeth, I feel like you might be my spirit animal.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Exactly fed oreo.
Speaker 9 (14:37):
I absolutely love them.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
I had never tried them until I had moved back
to murphy Borough.
Speaker 9 (14:43):
They are absolutely my favorite.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
And you make them at home, you're gonna have to
make Zach some.
Speaker 10 (14:48):
I do make them home.
Speaker 9 (14:49):
My grandma taught me how to make them at home.
Everything I learned is from my grandma.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
Girl, if you can hear me snapping right now, like
it's all the snap?
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Can you sell him so in? Can you guys sell
me me on a fried oreo? Like I don't necessarily
get it? An oreo alone is a sweet deserve.
Speaker 5 (15:05):
How do we have to sell you on a fried
oreo too much?
Speaker 9 (15:10):
It's so easy.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
You just have a f are and.
Speaker 9 (15:12):
Then you fall in love.
Speaker 7 (15:14):
Yeah, it's honestly, Kevin.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
It's the fact that it gets so gooey on the inside,
like it gets like andy and it.
Speaker 9 (15:21):
Just like not like a regular oreo.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
It melts in your mouth, you know. Okay, he's not convinced, Elizabeth.
Thank you so much for calling him though. We also
love fried oreos, so we get it.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 7 (15:33):
A thing Allie in White House, good morning.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
What's your favorite fair food?
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Oh? Yes, that's what I'm talking about, my girl. I
love a big turkey leg the size of my face.
Do you ever actually finish it?
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Ali?
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Because I can never finish the whole thing, but I
always have to get one.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Allie?
Speaker 7 (15:57):
How old are you? Okay?
Speaker 2 (15:59):
I like the idea of, you know, kids walking around
with these enormous turkeys.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Ali and I are probably the same height.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Then well, I'm not going to be rude, but very small.
So like you, not being able to finish, it makes sense.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
It makes sense that we can't finish the whole turkey leg.
But oh my god, is it good though? Thank you
Ali for calling in. We hope you have a great day.
Is today your first day back at school?
Speaker 8 (16:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Oh my gosh, what grade are you in?
Speaker 7 (16:24):
Seventh?
Speaker 3 (16:25):
You're gonna have the most amazing seventh grade year. Have
the best first day, Ali, Thank you.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
All the kids, all the teachers starting today, make it
a great year. Thank you for for starting your year
with us over here at the River. We appreciate that
it's gonna be a good one. We do have more
tickets to see the weekend.
Speaker 7 (16:42):
We've got them all week with the Game of the day.
Can win those next?
Speaker 2 (16:45):
And by the way, can't you just warm up an
oreo in the microwave and just no.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
And no, it's not the same.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
Ricky, Zach and men in the morning.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Topical trivia this week for Kevin Manno's Game of the
Day on one O seven five The River Weekend the weekend.
I'm sorry, I always want to call them weekend buddy,
don't understand what upset?
Speaker 7 (17:07):
Yeah, you guys, do you know you're on a one
name basis with the guests.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
The weekend is gonna be at Nissan Stadium. We have

Speaker 9 (17:17):
A little nervous, but I hope.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Okay, that's a good attitude. I think you're gonna be
just fine. What are you doing right now? You're on
your way to work.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
I'm on the way to Adopt's appointment, which it was
more exciting than.
Speaker 7 (17:28):
Work, but well, we hope this goes well. We hope
that goes well.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Yeah, all right, Jackie and East Nashville. Like Ricky said,
it's topical trivia. You need two out of three of
these right to win the tickets. The Weekend is playing
next Tuesday night. If you get two of these right,
you're you're gonna be at the show. Okay, okay, Jackie,
your game starts right now. What sport was just played
in Bristol, Tennessee at the Bristol Motor Speedway under the
(17:55):
name The Speedway Classic.
Speaker 7 (17:56):
What sport?
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Motor racing?
Speaker 2 (18:00):
NASCAR? No, the Speedway Classic was a baseball game. It
was Major League Baseball.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Yes, I'm sorry, that's okay. You have more questions, Yeah, okay,
here we go.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Question two.
Speaker 7 (18:12):
You're still alive.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Andy Byron, the former CEO of a company called Astronomer,
went to see What Banned a few weeks ago.
Speaker 7 (18:24):
Everyone knows that one.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
It feels weird to cheer for that, But yes.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
You get this one.
Speaker 7 (18:31):
You get this one right, you win the tickets to
see The Weekend.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson start together in What new movie?
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Oh yeah, I haven't seen it, but I'm so happy
that she's now back in love.
Speaker 10 (18:54):
I know.
Speaker 7 (18:54):
Yeah, we're happy for them. They sort of struck up
a romance on the set of.
Speaker 8 (18:58):
That movie This.
Speaker 1 (19:01):

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Hey, congratulations, you're going to see the weekend amazing.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Thank you guys so so much. You are so welcome.
I hope that your doctor's appointment goes amazing just like
this does, and you have a great day.
Speaker 6 (19:11):
Thank you, guys.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
You rock.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Three things you.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Need to know, all right, just a bit past eight
o'clock on this Tuesday morning, Rick Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Sabrina Carpenter revealed the full track list for her upcoming album,
Man's Best Friend. She had fans help her announce the
album track by track. It's got twelve total songs and
titles on there like we Broke Up Again last Night
and when did You Get Hot? Which that's what I
think is the most hilarious title and the one that
I am looking the most forward to. Man's Best Friend
(19:43):
comes out at the end of the month, on August
twenty ninth. I will put the full track list up
on one O seven five The River's Instagram account. You
can see it in the stories. Ashley McBride is opening
a non alcoholic bar on Broadway, which is really cool.
It's called Redemption Bar. It's gonna be inside Eric Church's
six story bar Chie. This is Broadway's first non alcoholic
focused bar, and it's going to feature a bunch of
(20:05):
zero proof cocktails that are named after her lyrics. Redemption
Bar is officially opening on August twenty eighth. You can
check it out on the fifth floor of the venue.
I think this is an amazing thing. I love that
there are more bars doing things like this, making mocktails,
coming up with different ideas to involve everybody, because sometimes
you don't want a drink, but you want to socialize.
And I think that's amazing. And you know how terrible
(20:28):
you feel when you don't get enough sleep. It turns
out you're worse off when you get too much sleep
than too little sleep. Researchers at the National Heart, Blood
and Lung Institute analyze data from about ninety thousand adults
and found that both short sleep durations less than seven
hours and long sleep durations more than nine hours, we're
(20:51):
both linked to higher mortality rates compared to people who
just sleep seven to eight hours. So I know that
everything you ever hear is seven to eight is that
wheat spot they're sticking with that. Those who didn't get
enough sleep had a fourteen percent increase in death, but
those who slept too long had a thirty four percent increase.
So that's kind of crazy. Was not expecting that. But,
(21:14):
like I said, stick to that seven to eight hours
and you're gonna be in the really good rhythm and
that's exactly what your body needs. I'm Rick Sanchez, and
those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 8 (21:23):
One seven River Reicky Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
You were a kid, what did you consider to be
the absolute peak of luxury? That's our question for you
right now. It's on seven to five the river. I
know my aunt and uncle had. This was back in
like the early nineties. They had like an enormous satellite dish,
and I just thought they were like the richest people
on the planet.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Satellite dish. Wow.
Speaker 5 (21:47):
I was definitely like, if if you saw someone with
a pool, you're like, oh, they're rich.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Yeah, I get that. That totally makes sense.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
Like guy, as a child, I was like, oh they
have a pool, I'm going.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
And if they had an inground, You're like, oh, that's
the next level. It had like your mom and dad
got a lot of money.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
Yeah, that's the next level.
Speaker 7 (22:06):
That's our question. The six one five, seven, three, seven nine,
one O seven. When you were a kid, what did
you just see as the pinnacle you made it in life?
Speaker 4 (22:13):
If you had blank let.
Speaker 8 (22:15):
Us know, one O seven five the river, Ricky, Zach
and meno in the morning, slowly.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Young, it's one O seven to five of the river.
We're talking about the things when you were a kid.
What you saw is like just you know, the pinnacle
of success and wealth? What what what meant somebody made it?
If they had this Daphne, good morning. Uh, I know
you're seventy years old. You wanted to make that very clear.
Speaker 7 (22:36):
Yes, what was that thing for you?
Speaker 9 (22:38):
Of color TV?
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Oh my gosh, had snap.
Speaker 9 (22:45):
If you walked into somebody's house and they had a
color TV, it's like and then that was a little
let's talk about when I was little. Now that was it.
It was like, oh my god.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
And the TV was probably huge too at the time,
wasn't it.
Speaker 9 (22:56):
Yes, this huge giant box on, you know, and we
sat in front of it on the floor and the
MBCP COP came.
Speaker 7 (23:03):
On oh yeah, and it was like technicolor.
Speaker 9 (23:06):
Because and it oscillated like the tail did in front
of me, and these colors went in front, back and
forth like a wave.
Speaker 7 (23:16):
Do you have a memory.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
I know this wasn't like the first thing in color,
but it was like the first big thing.
Speaker 7 (23:20):
Do you remember seeing.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
The Wizard of Oz when it was new and they
went from black and white?
Speaker 9 (23:25):
Say the yes?
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Oh my god, yeah, when Dorothy transitioned from black and
white to open that door and seeing the color.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
Okay, I have like a more serious question.
Speaker 9 (23:39):
Oh god, oh god, why did you say?
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Oh god, I've.
Speaker 9 (23:43):
Heard some of your questions, because like.
Speaker 5 (23:46):
You were like, oh, these friends are definitely rich. They
have like a color TV. Are you so friends with them?
Because you were like, oh, they're rich, I have to
be friends with them.
Speaker 9 (23:55):
Actually if it was actually my step grandfather, but he
was not.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
He was like my grandfather Okay, okay, he was mister
money bags.
Speaker 7 (24:04):
All right, Well, thank you for calling.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
That's a great answer.
Speaker 7 (24:07):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
I thank you for listened to Daphne. We appreciate you listening.
Speaker 9 (24:12):
Hey, my sons are thirty and thirty five, so I'm
all in it.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
I love it so much. You have a great day.
Speaker 9 (24:18):
Thank you too.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
I love I had said, a satellite dish jacket, set
a pool.
Speaker 7 (24:23):
Ricky, what was it for you when you were a kid?
Speaker 3 (24:25):
I remember I felt like we made it as like
the rich family because my mom had rented a Limo.
I grew up in Jersey and in New York City
they have, you know, the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, and my
mom had rented us a limousine to take into New
York City to see the Christmas Tree. Okay, and I
felt like I had made it. Oh yes, I was like,
(24:50):
this is the peak of luxury. This is amazing. We
had so much fun, my brother and I in that limo.
I still remember that moment to this day because it
was just like the coolest thing kids in.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
It was like two days ago. My son asked me,
He's like, Dad, would you rather have a Porsche or
a Limo?
Speaker 4 (25:04):
I was like, what would I do with a Limo?
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Are so cool when you're younger, Like when you're a kid,
You're like, the Limo is the coolest thing ever. I
just want to be like driven around in the Limo.
Speaker 8 (25:13):
One seven Rickie, Zach and Meno in the Morning core.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
In Nolan's though Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
What did you consider the absolute peak of luxury when
you were a kid?
Speaker 10 (25:26):
I'm getting myself, But I went to my aunt's house
and she had a Beta Max player with Star Wars. Nah,
Like she had a watch Star Wars on TV. I
was like, what is happening here? And it had round
down and it was thousands of dollars at the time
for one of those cr.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
It was a precursor to a VCR. It came before it,
like it was a different sized tape.
Speaker 10 (25:47):
Okay, yeah, I was just blown away that you could
watch Star Wars at home, Like who had Star Wars?
Speaker 3 (25:53):
That is an amazing feat at that point. To be
able to do that, Like you don't have to go
to the movie theater, like you could just watch it
in your living room. It is kind of crazy.
Speaker 10 (26:01):
Yeah, I posn't have Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Wait, the fact that you just said and pause it
when you wanted to want kids these days will never
understand that you couldn't you have to pee.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
Wait.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Yeah, I think.
Speaker 7 (26:19):
I've said this before.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Here was my big grand idea for like AMC or
these big movie chains to get people back in the
theater when you're selling movie tickets. Every showing should have
like the Golden remote where you pay extra to get
the remote.
Speaker 7 (26:31):
You can pause it when you want to. That one
person gets to take their own bathroom break when they want.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
That is old, so terribly.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Horrific idea, Kevin.
Speaker 7 (26:41):
But it's gonna make the theater some extra money.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
No, it's not.
Speaker 7 (26:44):
Get back on their feet, Court, thanks for calling.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
We appreciate you a good day.
Speaker 7 (26:50):
Court really didn't make that idea. He got quiet there.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
That's a bad idea. Adrian and Nashville, what is it
for you?
Speaker 9 (26:56):
The first thing that came to my mind was having cable,
because we never had cable growing up.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
We had like four Tailtai.
Speaker 10 (27:03):
Four tail five channel eight five channel.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
Did you have the ears on top of your TV?
Speaker 8 (27:09):
Oh yeah yeah, and then you would have to like
move like.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (27:16):
Sometimes we'd have to hold them just to watch something.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
I will say, I remember when we got Disney Channel.
That was a huge deal. We had begged our parents
to pay for Disney Channel for so long and finally
they did it, and it was like the biggest deal.
We're like, we have freaking Disney Channel. Change cable. Was
(27:41):
it like if you had cable, it's like huge. Now
it's obviously Netflix having every single streaming, Like yeah, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
I'm in Adrian.
Speaker 7 (27:54):
Thank you for calling in.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
And since uh we're talking about Disney Channel, I have
to play this.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Hi, Nashville, It's Miley Cyrus and you're listening to Ricky,
Zach and Mano in the morning on one oh seven

Speaker 3 (28:31):
But also we're not the ones that are going through it.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
True, sure, sure, sure, here.
Speaker 7 (28:35):

is that.
Speaker 5 (28:38):

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Everyone here to have a great time. It's really good.
Speaker 7 (28:48):
Comedic timing.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
If you watch the video, you see the bride immediately
go no, no, no, no no.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
She literally grabs the microphone and she was like shut
up and shut up.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Man.
Speaker 7 (29:00):
That's good.
