Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Six o'clock on this Wednesday morning. Good morning, Ricky and
I are just talking about Deadpool and Wolverine.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Because I finally saw it. I saw it last night.
Now we can talk about it.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
It's so good.

Speaker 5 (00:10):
If you haven't seen it yet, highly recommend go check
it out. Kevin recommends it now.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
I mean, it lived up to the hype. We have
a lot to talk about up here today. Ricky's got
those three things.

Speaker 5 (00:20):
We got some details on zac Efron's freak pool accident
that he had in Spain. So it turns out that
he took a deeper dive than he should have and
slammed into the bottom of the pool. So when that happened,
TMZ reported quote he ingested a large amount of water
into his lungs. As previously reported, He's doing just fine
after a quick trip to the hospital. But this man
needs to be wrapped in bubble wrap or something because

(00:41):
the amount of accidents it's trapping him because he's kind
of a little bit of a daredot, very adventurous and
very yes, adventurous, So like we need to bubble wrap
this man to protect him at all costs.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
He's got to stop.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones,
has signed on for another two seasons. The season finale
for season two happened on Sunday.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
I just watched that last night.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Oh, I didn't know. You watch that show.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Very upset about it.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yeah, everybody seems disappointed with the finale. It was kind
of anti climaxing.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
You knew that it was about to end because you're like,
I know how Game of Thrones works, and as it
like ramps up, you're like, this is where it's.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Gonna end, and then it ends, and I'm so sad
about it.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
But as because it ended, we obviously need new seasons,
so they've signed on for three and four. Season three
will start production in twenty twenty five. Season four will
be the end of the series, so that will be
the end of the prequel of House of the Dragon.
I like when they do things like that and they
let us know, so it's not like we're waiting, of course,
and waiting and waiting, and.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
It's just great when a series has a clear end
and they're not just you know, just going.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Just to see the actual end will not be clear,
because then they're gonna come out with a prequel to
the prequel and a sequel to the prequel. Ten Care
is providing one hundred diapers per month for those enrolled
in ten Care for cover kids. So this is a
great new program that takes effect today for those enrolled
in ten Care. So ten Care is partnering with pharmacies
across Knee to make sure that there's an easy way

(02:02):
and easy access for you to get diapers for your kids.
So in order to receive them, you're gonna be able
to walk into any participating pharmacy and show your child's
Optimum RX ten Care pharmacy card or provide your child's
Social Security number at the pharmacy. They will initially cover
lines and sizes of Huggies and Quties diapers. Other brands
are hopefully going to add overtime. But this is a

(02:23):
really great program for anybody who needs it. One hundred
diapers a month goes a long way. I'm Ricky Sanchez
and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Thank you so much, Ricky. We appreciate you starting your
Wednesday with us. Let's make it a good one.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
First caller of the day wants to try it when
they call in for these Jesse McCartney tickets. He's gonna
play at the Ryman October twenty ninth. We're giving away
those tickets whoever calls us first, right now.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Six three seven, nine, one O seven. We've got these
all week for the first caller of the day. Any
headway on a throwing bra. We were talking about this yesterday.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
This is the most insane thing ever. We're not giving
away throwing bras, all right, We'll.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Talk to the first caller of the day. Get these
Jesse McCartney tickets.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
Next Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Ricky Mount Juliet.

Speaker 8 (03:37):
Yeahunt Julia, what happens?

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I grew up?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Well, good morning, Rick. What are you doing.

Speaker 8 (03:43):
I'm heading to work?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Rick?

Speaker 8 (03:46):
I am a private duty nurse or a child who
goes to Harris Wilmans.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Oh wow, okay, So you are far better of a
person than anybody in this studio right now. We appreciate
you for being such a great person, very cool, and
appreciate you listening to us because you are the first
color of the day on one of seven five the River.

Speaker 7 (04:05):
Yeah yeah, Rick, are you like a big Jesse McCartney fan.

Speaker 8 (04:08):
Back in the day when he first came out Beautiful Soul?
And I was obsessed. But I'm really an eighties boy,
so cy So I'm more excited about that.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Yeah, that's like.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Her farewell to her. I'm excited about that as well.

Speaker 8 (04:23):
Oh yeah, I've been talking her for years since the eighties,
and when I was old enough to find down my hair,
I started doing it.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Well, we've been giving away these Jesse McCartney tickets this week,
and I've been teasing Rick, you know, throwing a bra.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
On stage because she was a big fan back in
the day.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Rick, how instein is that when you think about Jesse McCartney,
do you think, oh, women must throw their bras on
stage at him.

Speaker 8 (04:47):
I think that when he was famous he had fired
too young to know what a bra was.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
See what I mean throwing bras at him.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
He's not too young anymore. He's the new Drake, is
what they said.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
Oh god, Rick, thank you so much for hanging out
with us and for listening.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
We hope you have the best time at Jesse McCartney.

Speaker 8 (05:02):
Oh, thank you. I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
You're great, Rick, thank you for listening.

Speaker 9 (05:05):
Boddy, no problem, hang on the line.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
We're gonna have more tomorrow, same time. First caller of
the day is Jesse McCartney.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Take Ricky, Zach and Mano in the.

Speaker 6 (05:13):
Morning on one O seven five the River.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
Zach and I are going on our annual trip. We
go on this trip every year. There's a big conference
for radio people and we go and uh, it always
ends in a very interesting way.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Well, the thing I want to talk about here, we're
gona we're gonna play a couple songs come back to
this conversation.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
But I'm really curious about the sleeping arrangement.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Yeah, well we're poor, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
What else do you want to do? What you gotta do,
Sharon ad Do they spoon? That's the question everybody wants
to know. I We're gonna find out in five minutes on.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
The river, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
One five taring a bed with your friend etiquette. It's
one O seven to five the river, Ricky and Zach.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
You're gonna be out of town together this weekend, and yeah,
they're shacking up.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
Kevin is so just like mind blown by this. He's
asked us NonStop questions about.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
How this works.

Speaker 7 (06:03):
And I don't understand where the confusion is coming from.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
I don't either. We do this every year.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
We go to a radio conference every year, Zach and I,
and they always end with a very interesting moment or
something that we've learned.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
About each other.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
You think, at this point, we spend every single day together,
even outside of.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Work, that we would know everything about each other.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
But when you are staying in a room with someone,
it's just an entirely differicult You know.

Speaker 7 (06:26):
Of my favorite things that I've learned about Ricky, Hey,
she loves to watch ridiculousness before bed and sit there
and cackle literally just laying in bed watching ridiculousness. I
thought she had like lost her mind because I was
trying to sleep and she was just cackling, like cry
laughing every ridiculousness.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
I'd like to fall asleep to funny things because it
gives you funny, happy dreams.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
That's how importable things.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
How it works.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
If you watch something that's sad and depressing, then you
have sad dreams.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Everyone knows that, Kevin.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
So we share a bed sometimes because we're pretty much
poor at this point, and going on these trips costs
a lot of money, so we love to go. We'll
spend it, but we have to do it on the cheap, so.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
We end up cuddling.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
What are your significant others okay with it?

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I mean you, you know you're sharing a bed with
another man days gay breaking news.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
Just making sure that everyone knew that, Like there's something
weird about it. There's no like anything there in the
same It's like if I shared a bed with my girlfriend.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
All right, we put a pillow in between us, do
you know?

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Once?

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Yeah, Doddle, be honest. I feel like you.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
Guys one time between I said that there was one
time that we cuddled.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
And what's the uh attire?

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Okay, So this is the rule.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Though Zach likes to, you know, sleep a very specific way,
and I very much make sure that he is fully
clothed he gets in with me.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
Yes, I wear like sweat shorts or like fox or
briefs okay.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Which is fine, all right, but like very much, that
is the one rule.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
I hope you guys have a great time. I am
never going with.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
You and to be sharing bed together, but I hope
you have a great time.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Zech is so offending, but I am share a.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Bed with him.

Speaker 7 (08:07):
I'm so just sut CKY's the one that snores. I
sleep like a baby and a coffin, like I'm just
that is true.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
I do snorre and I talk in my sleep and
I can't wait to find out something new about Zach
this weekend and shirt with everyone.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Please please please share when you come back. And I'm
just gonna take your word on all.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Of that three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Just after seven o'clock on this Wednesday morning, Ricky's got
those three things.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
But first we get some shout outs real quick that
I want to do Camille and Franklin wants to shout
out her daughter grayson Lynn. It's her first day of
seventh grade. I have a great first day. And Kinsey
and Murphysboro. She said, Today is my husband Andrew's fortieth birthday.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
Happy birthday. Drew.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Lots of cool stuff happening today. You guys can always
text us six four eight nine. Five is the number
put river at the beginning of the message. For anything
that you want to say, any shout outs, or any
little comments that you have, just send them our way.

Speaker 7 (08:55):
All right.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Three things you need to know Sabrina Carpenter. She just
did an interview with Variat and she had a lot
to say. One of those things was that apparently her
label was unsure about releasing Espresso.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Can you imagine that?

Speaker 5 (09:08):
Yes, she said that they really weren't feeling it, and
that quote the powers above questioned if the song even
made any.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Sound on they should all be fired.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
She's very obviously happy that they went with her gut,
because her gut was saying, no, I need to release.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
This because it's a hit song of the summer. It's huge.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
In the same interviews, Sabrina revealed that she considers Short
and Sweet her sophomore album, because she has full creative
control this time, so she has a lot of the
decision making power in this one. And she said that
having her boyfriend Barry Kyogan as part of.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
Please Please Please the music video was.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Extra special for her, and that he loves the lyrics
to the song because I mean it's kind of about him, so.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
He's all on board for it. He loves it so much.
And she did mention Taylor Swift because there was a
lot of rumors going around that.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
She can't like look Taylor Shift in the eyes and
can't ask her for anything. She wanted to squash those
rumors and said very much that her and Taylor Swift
are besties and that they talk all the time, they
go get dinner together, they love being around each other.
All of those things are absolutely ludicrous. American Red Cross,
they're trying to fight blood shortages right now with an incentive,

(10:19):
So there is an extreme shortage happening right now. They're
very concerned because we're entering peak hurricane season. Donors with
type OH blood are the most needed right now, So
as a thank you and as an incentive, people who
donate this month are gonna get a twenty dollars Amazon
gift card, so you can go ahead and schedule your
donation at.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Redcross dot org. It's very important to do those things.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
I will say I hate giving blood, but when they
need it, they need it, so you just gotta do it.
No help out everybody around you. And in honor of
National Biscuit Month, this is really cool. Loveless Cafe is
doing a fun little contest. So they're inviting chefs, bakers,
and foodies, so anybody is allowed to be a part
of this, but they want your best best biscuit slider creation.

(11:02):
You have to submit all the ingredients through their submission form.
They have a lot of options on there, like fried chicken,
hard boiled egg, meat loaf, cheese, preserves, punkin butter, a
variety of different gravies, so much more on there.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
They're gonna pick four winners.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
They're all gonna be announced on August twenty six, and
each of them are gonna have their creation served for
one week in September. That's cool, So you're gonna have
your creation at Loveless Cafe. The grand champion, chosen by
popular vote, is gonna win free biscuits for a whole year.
So if you love making food or you just want
to try something fun, go ahead and submit yourself for
the Loveless Cafes Fun little contest.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Thank you, Ricky. I didn't even know there was a
National Biscuit Month.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
It's happening right now.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
We're all gonna learn something else right after Chaffel ron
Zach's fax next one of.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the
morning on one O seven the River.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
All right, Zach teaches something new at Zachs fax A
one O seven five the River.

Speaker 7 (11:57):
Did you guys know that the shell of an armadillo
is actually only bulletproof?

Speaker 4 (12:01):
No, that's sick.

Speaker 7 (12:02):
Yeah, so they have bulletproof shells. Apparently a guy in
Texas tried to shoot one and it bounced off and
hit him in the cheeks.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Oh wow, it sounds like car.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
So there's your fact of the day. Carmadillo.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
On these kindergarten through sixth grade students at eight an
elementary school in California, they made a hotline pet Talk
hotline type vibe and now the experience is a book,
which is really cool and I love the positivity behind this.
It's one of seven five of the river we called
the hotline, which the number is seven O seven eight P.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
E P t OC. Yeah, so this is what it
sounds like when you called it the best.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Here we go here to.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Hi.

Speaker 10 (12:48):
Welcome to Pep Talk, a public art project by West
Side School.

Speaker 7 (12:51):
Please listen to the.

Speaker 10 (12:52):
Following options for encouraging messages.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
If you're feeling mad, frustrated, or nervous.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Press one. I'm always nervous.

Speaker 9 (12:58):
If you need it.

Speaker 10 (13:00):
When you're feeling mad, you should take three deep breast
and see things that make you happy. The thing that
makes me happy he is one, and I think of
happy things will happen in the future, like going to
a friend's house or a cousin's house. Bye, oh my gosh,
you're frustrated. You can always go to your bedroom, punch

(13:20):
your pillow or cry on it and just go scream outside.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Okay, we're gonna cut it off there, but that is
the cutest thing I've ever heard.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
My heart is exploiting.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
You can't be in a bad mood when you hear that.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
No, it's so sweet.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
Like I said, the number is seven O seven eight
P E P T O C. Now, neither of you,
zachar Kevin are as cute as those kids.

Speaker 6 (13:43):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
But I would like for you to try your hand
at a pep talk.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Was that your pep talk?

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Or let's start with Kevin?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
I tend to feel overwhelmed a lot with all the
things coming at you in life.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
So just two things. Just remember you were hre human.
Everybody needs to remember that you're human. You can only
take on so much. Also, quote I heard a long
time ago, it doesn't stop. So pace yourself. Oh, life
just does not stop. It's always gonna be like, so
pace yourself.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
I love it all right, Zach, what do you have
to say for your pep talk?

Speaker 7 (14:15):
My mom actually had this painted on my wall while
I was growing up, and I will always remember it.
So if you're like going back to school and you're
nervous or whatever, don't compare yourself to others, because the
saying is in a world where you can be anything,
be yourself and be the most authentic version of yourself.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
And I think you hold true to that to this day.
And I love that kid for sure.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Sweet yeah, if you have anything to share, any sort
of positive informations, any sort of pep talk six one five, seven,
three seven nine, one oh seven.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Don't forget those Mariah Carey tickets we have.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
For you next, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning
on the River.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
Morning, Riley and Hendersonville. Welcome to one O seven five
the River. Do you have a little pep talk, a
little positive vibe that you want to send out to everybody?

Speaker 8 (14:59):
I do. So. This is by doctor Shus. It goes
slide it in.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
Whenever you were born to stand out, you.

Speaker 7 (15:06):
Were born to be who you are.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
And then there's another one is crying is not weakness.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
It's it's a praying to God.

Speaker 8 (15:12):
And whenever you don't.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Have the word, I love that, that whole thought process crying.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
There is nothing wrong with it. He's gotta let it out.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Which one of you earlier said the thing about being sad?
Being sad is okay?

Speaker 5 (15:22):
Why?

Speaker 7 (15:23):
Because sad means secretly a dinosaur?

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Right? I love it. Thank you guys so much for
calling in.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
Have a great day, Riley, Thanks y'all, have a blessed day.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
You guys are the best. Thank you this is Hozier.

Speaker 2 (15:39):

Speaker 2 (15:52):

Speaker 4 (15:58):

Speaker 5 (15:58):

Genesis Diamonds.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
We're doing a quiz miss.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Yes we are.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
It's a Christmas themed quiz all week long for these tickets.
I know what it's August. Why Christmas, Mariah Carey. That's
why she's bringing her Christmas Time Show to Bridge Down
Arena in November. These tickets are not even on tell
you they go on sell Friday. But you can win
them all week long with the Game of the Day.
It is a Quizmas. If you want to play, let's

Speaker 5 (16:34):
All right, Lily and Hendersonville, are you ready to play

Speaker 3 (16:53):
If you get two out of three, you're going to
see her. Okay, okay, all right. Question number one for
Lily in Hendersonville. Christmas starts right now.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Jack and Sally are characters from my son's favorite holiday movie.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
What movie my yaes see? You're sleepy, but you're pulling
it together. I love to see it.

Speaker 11 (17:14):
That's my son's favorite too. He used to walk around saying,
my name's not Braxton, it's Jack.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
I love that.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
It's such a good movie.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Question number two, you get this right, you win.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Aside from Rudolph, name three of Santa's reindeer.

Speaker 11 (17:31):

Pitbull is purchasing the naming rights to FIU's football stadium.
I love it so According to ESPN, Pitbull is going
to sponsor the school stadium for the next five seasons
and will it will now be named pit Bull Stadium.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Wow, that's right.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
I love it so much because it's so random.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
I don't think I've ever heard of a person buying
the naming rights for a sports stadium.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Well, here we are. Pit Bull is one of a kind.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
The deal is worth over one point two million dollars
per season, and as part of the deal, it gets
better guys. According to the documents, pit Bull will also
create an anthem for FIU.

which is actually I believe over at this point, but
he he got sent home early because of his injury.
So he injured his foot on coral reef, where he
had posted a picture that three of his toes were
wrapped up in bandages. Coral reef, if you don't know,
is very very sharp, so even just the slightest grays

(19:15):
against it can cut you open. If you really hit
into it, you can severely injury yourself. But those cuts
became staff infected and he even got a really bad
ear infection, and that was why he was sent home early,
so he didn't get to finish out his time as
the correspondent, and Australian weatherman stepped in for him and
did the finals. So, uh, you know, he's never gonna

jokes are going to be flowing about that.

Speaker 3 (19:41):

all those movies. He's covered Olympics and he goes down.

Brad and Kim Paisley's. The store may get a second
location in Nashville. This is amazing.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
So the store is a free grocery store in the
twelfth Avenue South area. The mission is to help those
who can't afford groceries and to do it with dignity,
which is the big key there to do it with dignity.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (20:04):
It's been around for five years now, it's served thousands
of Nashvillians and now they're looking to expand. So Brad

the t's and dot the i's on a location in
North Nashville.

are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (20:28):

a half ago. They were having like a back to

took our kids. I mean about everything they're doing over
at the store. Absolutely love. They had a whole party.
The community came out for it. It was great. Really
crops to Brad Paisley and his wife. That's great that
they're doing that, and I'm glad they're doing another one.
