Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know are right, Let's go
just after six o'clock on this Monday morning, thank you
for starting a brand new week with us. Ricky Sanchez
is back and she's got those three things.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Kelsey Ballerini and Chase Stokes have reportedly broken up. The
couple were together for about three years, and it seems
like the breakup was amicable. There's no hard feelings. A
sourceful People magazine that both Kelsey and Chase tried to
make it work, but it just wasn't gonna work out,
which sometimes just happens in relationships. Neither of them have
said anything about the breakup rumors or confirmed anything, so
(00:35):
right now, these are just reports and rumors. We're not
sure if it's one hundred percent true. Eighth and Rose
has launched a new Titans Blend of coffee. It's ready
for you to buy. Titan's bund has tasting notes of chocolate, sweet,
and bowlds. According to their website. You can get twelve
ounce bags that are going to be exclusively available at
Eighth and Rosse locations, on their website and at Kroger's
(00:57):
around Nashville, and have a new permanent flavor honey roastated
peanut m and ms, which is a twist on the
classic peanut m and ms, which are my favorite. They'll
be available in stores and on their website at the
end of this month, which is perfect just in time
for Halloween. If you're buying Halloween candy, you can try
and pass these out for the kids as well. Obviously,
(01:17):
peanuts very nerve wracking. I know, sure all they know
a lot of parents right now just went don't do that. Yeah,
but you know, sometimes people like peanuts. I'm sorry, I'm
rikaissant dos. And those are the three things you need
to know.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
One O seven five The River, Ricky, Zach and Meno
in the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
We know how much you love when we give away
tickets to secret shows on one O seven five the River.
So that's what's going to the first collar of the day.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Yeah, hopefully this is announced today and we can tell
you tomorrow what you're calling for. But today you're not
gonna know six one five, seven, three seven nine one
oh seven.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
But when we do talk to you, I will try
to give you.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
As much information about the show as possible, and Ricky
and Zach will tell me that I've said too much.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, that's already cheating and frustrating.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
I'll reveal what I can.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Kevin, You're not supposed to do that.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
First caller of the day. We're talking to you next.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
On the River. Let's go.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
This is your idea, not ours, if our boss asked.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Rickey, Zach and Menno.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
In the morning, Britty and Ashland City, Welcome to one
oh seven five the River. Good morning. How you doing
this morning?
Speaker 6 (02:17):
I'm good.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (02:18):
I'm okay. I'm coming back from a bachelorette party, though,
and my voice is going in and out. I'm tired.
I think I think I may have broken like something
in my body.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Because, God, Ricky, you're doing better than I thought you'd
be doing on this Monday morning after that trip.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Thank you. I appreciate that, Kevin, but I think I'm
falling apart. Brittany. No, I'm glad that you're feeling good.
Fun though, Oh Brittany, I had too much fun, one might.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Say, Brittany, how was your weekend?
Speaker 4 (02:46):
Was that anything like Ricky's? It was good.
Speaker 6 (02:48):
We took the kids to watch the thirtieth anniversary of
Toy Story in the movie Horrible.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I'm like, oh my god, the original toy story is
thirty years old. Yes, oh my god, Brittany, that makes sense.
Why my body hurts after this? Yeah, that just made
me feel so old.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
God Andy is almost forty. Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
What that's crazy, Brittany blew all of our minds. Just now,
are you on your way to uh school or work?
Right now?
Speaker 7 (03:13):
To wort? I'm registered patients in the er at North Crest.
Speaker 8 (03:17):
Oh, I am so sorry. You know. I only say
I'm sorry.
Speaker 9 (03:22):
Because you know, like whenever people go to the er,
they want to be seen clearly, like right now, and
it's an emergency room, and then they have to wait,
so you have to deal with all the Karens that
are waiting. I'm sorry that you have to deal with.
Sometimes people are not very nice.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
It's okay, Brittany.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
I don't know if you saw this, but the Pit
won a bunch of Emmy's yesterday. I'm sure you watched
the Pit working in the Er. Yeah, yeah, it was
a great show. Hey, we should probably tell you that
to the first caller of the day.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Oh really, yes, congratulations. We can't tell you what you
want tickets for. It's still a secret show. Right now,
we find out today.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
It's not music.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
It's not music. Kevin's just going to keep shouting things
out because he's going to try and tell you it's
a person without telling you what it is, and he's
gonna get himself in trouble with our boss.
Speaker 8 (04:03):
I think you're doing pretty good so far. Not music
and it's a person.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Yeah, I think.
Speaker 8 (04:06):
You can say that.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Okay, guys, party, We're very excited for you. It's gonna
be a great show, even though it's not music and
it's a person, which doesn't make it sound like it's
gonna be great. I promise you you're gonna have a great time.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
It's a she.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
God.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Yes, pretty. We appreciate you so much for what you
do in the er and for hanging out with us
this morning. Congratulations on these tickets. Hang on the line, though,
so we can get some info from you.
Speaker 7 (04:31):
Okay, Okay, thank you, all right, hang out.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
We should be able to say tomorrow the show is
supposed to be announced today, so tomorrow the cat will
be out of the bag.
Speaker 9 (04:37):
You know, Kevin, You're doing so well until the last clue.
Then you just went too far, too much, too much.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
All right, we'll win save him from himself, which it
has to.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
See her tomorrow, Devine River.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
Inod morning, we are all back.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Ricky's back from her bachelorette party in San Diego. It's
good to have the whole gang back together. But she
said a moment ago, she told us that she experienced
several first unexpected firsts over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah, ones that like I just was not expecting to
experience this weekend. I feel concerned, Well you should be
a little concerned, but also I think you're gonna be
proud of me. I think this is the first time
that I went on a trip with a bunch of
different people, a lot of whom I had never actually
met before. I didn't get overwhelmed at any point. I
(05:21):
also didn't argue with anyone.
Speaker 8 (05:23):
I do not believe that.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
I didn't argue with anyone the entire time.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
Your version of I don't buy it. I don't buy it.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I don't know with anybody the entire time. It was great.
Everybody got along so well. I was not expecting everybody
to actually like get along as well as they did.
But we all loved each other. It was a great time.
Like you didn't get in any arguments.
Speaker 8 (05:44):
Actual information I'm very proud of.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
That's why I said you'd be proud of me. But
that's a first for me, I think I would say so.
And then another first for me, guys, I tried breast
milk for the first time.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
I've been there.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
There were multiple women on the trip who are pumping
right now because they have kids. That's like the point
of life. We're all kind of in right now, like
we're older. And I tried two separate ones because there
were two girls that were pumping. And I'll tell you
what a our juvenating experience. It is so crazy. I
(06:18):
never thought that there would be any kind of like,
I don't know feelings or thoughts when that happens. But
everybody's like, you have to try it, you have to
try it, you have to try it. So I did
mind blowing experience for you.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
I'm happy to hear you say, let's normalize that.
Speaker 8 (06:30):
I remember when, no, let's not normalize.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
That, when my wife was one morning you did. Yeah,
when my wife, my wife was like a factory like
she was.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
It was just coming out of all.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
We don't use that.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
But like I tried it out of curiosity. I was like, Okay,
that's sweet. That's you know, that's interesting, it's sweet.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
And then over the course of the next couple of
years we had two kids. You know, there's always brestmolk around.
Like if I would feel a little bit under the weather,
it'd be like, let me get a shout of that.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
And it really it was.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Very feel better. Like the one day I literally looked
at everybody and I went, like the first time I
tried it, I was like, why do I have like
this boost of energy? And I like, feel really good
right now?
Speaker 9 (07:07):
Guys, Also, why are you stealing the food from their child?
Speaker 2 (07:11):
No, well they couldn't because they were drinking so all
of that.
Speaker 9 (07:14):
That's why you felt better because you have vodka infused
breast milk.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Yeah, maybe that's what you were arguing. Maybe this is
a secret to make Ricky a better person. Just get
her a constant supply.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Bressman, I hate you both so much, so much.
Speaker 8 (07:30):
I thought, we're juvenated because you have Vodska for breakfast.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
We need to get some of the fridge. Having a moment,
we just cracked.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
I'm open hey both of you, and I just need
you to know that. And now I forgot the third
thing that I did for the first, so you ruined
that for me too.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
All right, a bit past seven o'clock on this Monday morning,
Let's make it a great week.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Friends. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Elmer Denzel Irwin, the owner of Santa's Pub, has passed away.
A family friend posted the news to her social media yesterday.
We are sending so much love to his family and
his friends right now. Everybody loves Santas Pub. Everybody knows
Santa's Pub in town. Everybody loves to go there and
feel included and respected and have fun. It's just one
(08:14):
of the most iconic dive bars that Nashville has to offer,
and he has always been an iconic person at the bar.
Nashville legend forever and always so our hearts go out
to his entire family and friends and everybody who knew him.
The Emmys happened last night with national native but Nate
Berghetsi as the host. Here are some highlights. Apple TVs
(08:35):
Severans led the pack with a total of twenty seven
Emmy nominations, but the studio won the most last night
with thirteen awards, including Seth Throgen's win for his first
Emmy ever for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series,
so congrats to him. The Traders took homeb the Emmy
for Outstanding Reality Competition Program. Severans took home eight Emmys.
(08:57):
Trammel Tillman who plays Mister Milchick. He became the first
black man to win an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor
in a Drama Series. And Owen Cooper became the youngest
Emmy winner ever for his work with adolescents for he
won for Supporting Actor in a Limited Season or Series.
So congrats to all the winners. Also, NAPERGETSI did a
great job. One of my favorite things that he did
(09:18):
that I thought was amazing is every person who went
over on their speech got money deducted from a pot
that he planned to donate to Boys and Girls and
it really kept things going, things going all night. Started
out with one hundred thousand dollars, and as time went on,
(09:38):
money got deducted and then added and deducted and added,
and they ended up donating three hundred and fifty thousand
dollars to Boys and Girls Club all through the Emmys
last night, which is amazing to hear, So congrats to
him on doing an awesome job. And this is pretty
wild and we're very close to this timeframe, but parents
hit peak stress at seven sixteen eight m every morning,
(10:01):
so fifteen percent of parents, so that pressure spikes when
kids can't find their shoes for twenty one percent into
the battle to get them dressed, that just to send
them over the edge. Three quarters say that the school
run itself is just stressful, which is why seven sixteen
is peak stressed for parents with their kids. I'mricke Sanchez,
and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Maybe we should do like a moment of zen a
seven sixteen.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yeah, just take a little breather, a little moment of silence,
everybody calm down, reset.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
You know, maybe that's something we should think about. I
like that.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Thank you, Ricky, appreciate it. Right after Alex Warren, we're learning, y'all.
Zach's fax next.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
On the river, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 5 (10:38):
On one seven five the river.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Very excited to be back mostly for zas fax on
one of seven five of the river.
Speaker 9 (10:45):
Okay, so this fact comes courtesy of our friend Kevin
Mano sent it to me this morning. And did you
guys know that Pepsi was originally called Brad's drink. It
was it was invented by this pharmacist, Caleb Bradham, and
so it was called Brad's drink, and then they renamed
it eighteen ninety eight to Pepsi cola.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Much better, oh, just to make it a better name.
Speaker 9 (11:04):
Well, no, So pepsi actually comes from a digestive enzig pepsin,
and then cola comes from the cola nut extrac that
it's made from.
Speaker 8 (11:12):
So it was pepsi cola.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
Not because it's a better name.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
And there you're still back to the Day's still a
better name than Brad's ring.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
No offense to the brads out there talk about.
Speaker 8 (11:20):
This later, would like, hey, can I have a Brad string?
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Yeah, that'd be cool. I think the dude's an egomaniac.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
But thanks Zach Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
On what is something that you always always always carry
around with you? It's one oh seven five the River.
I was at a bachelorette over the weekend and I
found out that my one friend carries birthday candles and
a lighter with her at all times.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
That's super weird. I respect the preparation there, but that's straight.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Also, there's a little clip that comes with it that
you can clip it onto drinks. So even if there's
no like desserts for you to be like to have,
you can clip it on your soda or your alcoholic beverage,
whatever it might be. She has them on her at
all times.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
That's a pro move, and my book, it's aggressive six one, five, seven, three, seven,
nine one seven. If there's something a little drink it,
it's something that you carry around all the time.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (12:11):
What do you always have on you?
Speaker 5 (12:12):
Let us know. Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Five the River, Ricky told the story a second ago
about a friend to her. She was at a bachelorette
party over the weekend and this friend always has birthday
candles on her at all You never know when a
party is gonna break out.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
So let's say good morning to Harper and Hendersonville.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Harper were asking the question, what do you always carry
with you.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Emotional support lips bloss Yeah, that's my girl. That's a
good idea because you never know when you're gonna need it.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yeah, So when you like get anxious or something, did
you start globbing the stuff on.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yes, what's your favorite brand?
Speaker 9 (12:47):
Harper Okay or Girl that's fancy? But also do you
get like the flavored kind? Because I feel like whenever
I would like wear chack.
Speaker 8 (12:56):
Like it, don't I like the flavor that you can
lig I knew.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Thank you Harber for calling. We hope you have a
great day. Bye Bye.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Sandra in Nashville. Our friend, Sandra, what is it for you?
What do you always have on you?
Speaker 7 (13:12):
I always carry what one pretty nois and colloween smart.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
These are very practical things. My friend was not very
practical about what she always carries around. But these are
practical items that everyone should have.
Speaker 10 (13:23):
I like it.
Speaker 6 (13:24):
I'm so you know anything like clean Oh, I was thinking.
Speaker 9 (13:30):
Like you were a messy eater, so you carry them
around to like cleaning it off on your shirt or something.
Speaker 10 (13:34):
Oh, you would say that that's also because Zach is
a messy eater.
Speaker 8 (13:39):
Without a doubt.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Bye, Sandra, thank you for calling.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
I used to have a coin with like a blue
coin that had the number three on it and I
carried it everywhere all the time. I lost it at
some point, but that was it was always in my
pocket for years.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
See, yeah, yours is less practical too.
Speaker 8 (13:54):
Yeah that means nothing.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
But it's also very small and it takes up no space.
It was just my lucky thing.
Speaker 8 (13:58):
Oh clearly not that lucky if you lost it.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Oh no, I just outgrew. I don't need the luck anymore,
you know. I figured out how to make my own
luck out.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on one oh
seven five.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
The River, we are about to play Kevin Mano's Game
of the day. This one is a classic. We're doing
topical trivia. We love to do topical trivia on one
oh seven five the River. These are for weekend passage

seventh and twenty eighth at the park at Harlan.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Good morning, Good morning, buddy, how was your weekend?
Speaker 5 (15:09):
It was pretty good.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
That was actually a really good weekend.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
A little bit of cleaning on Saturday and then football.
Speaker 7 (15:15):
With a cotton yesterday.
Speaker 8 (15:16):
Why did you say really good? And then follow up
with cleaning Because.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
He's a grown ups act. That's what we get excited about.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Oh. I know, like, you don't love too clean, but
you love the final product. You love to have a
clean environment.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
I get that.
Speaker 10 (15:27):
Yeah, yeah, happy, happy law.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
There you go, nice all right, Josh.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Topical Trivia is the game some trivia questions based on
things happening in the world at this very moment. If
you get two out of three of them, right, These
Pilgrimage passes are yours?
Speaker 4 (15:39):
You ready, let's go.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
It's game time, baby, Josh. What did Nashville's own Nate
BARGHESESI do last night.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
He hosted the award show?
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Oh, can you be a little more specific.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
The emmy?
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Yeah, your reach for news right there?
Speaker 4 (16:01):
You got it?
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Uh, well, I think you're gonna get this question right
based on something we've already covered here.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
But gosh, Travis Kelcey and the Chiefs have played two
games so far this season. How many have they won?
Speaker 5 (16:14):
Zero?
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Yeah, celebrating that, But yeah, like you said that very proudly, Josh, Yeah,
I kind of.
Speaker 8 (16:22):
I don't really like them.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
Yeah, okay, well they keep winning in this year. They
are not you, on the other hand, are winning.
Speaker 10 (16:29):
Josh.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Congratulations, buddy, Awesome, Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 9 (16:32):
Hey, guess my, Josh, you've won more games than the
Chiefs and the Titans combined.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
You're going to Pilgrimage later this month, John may Or
kings Leon, It's gonna be great.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
Nice job, your weekend passes. Awesome, Thank you.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
All three things you need to know.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Been past eight o'clock on this Monday morning.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Gonna be a great week, friends, Thank you for starting
with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
A judge has ruled a Taylor Swift deposition in the
Blake Lively and Jessin Baldoni case is off limits. Justin
Baldoni and team have tried to depose Taylor Swift in
Blake Lively's harassment and retaliation case, but it's been rejected
by the judge, who said that his team waited too long.
Blake Lively's lawyers have accused Justin Baldoni's team of exploiting
Taylor's name for a media spectacle and disrespecting her privacy.
(17:16):
Taylor Swift's lawyer clarified that she did not agree to
a deposition and has no role in this case, so
she will not be any part of it from this
moment forward, and is giving locals free daffodils so community
members can pick up daffodil bulbs and bring a little
more color to Nashville's area. You can plant them with
(17:36):
just the permission of the place in which you'd like
to plant them. That means you know, schools, libraries, pathways, parks.
Each bag that you get contains fifty bulbs. Supplies are
limited one bag per person on a first come, first
serve basis, but this is a great way to keep
Nashville green and lively. Daffodil pickup is available today through
October third. You just got to go to end Warehouse
(17:58):
on Fifth Street and waffle House has teamed up with
door Dash for all night delivery. So this launch is
time to coincide with waffle House's seventieth anniversary. Seventieth and
also National Waffle Week obviously makes sense, so orders can
be placed through waffle House's website or the app. It's
powered by DoorDash drive select locations that offer twenty four
(18:21):
to seven delivery through the door Dash app. Means that
like at three am, if you just wake up Craven
some waffles, you can have it delivered right to you.
I think this is great. It fits with the waffle
House theme, and obviously I am always down for late
night eats. Amrique Sanchez and those are the three things
you need to know.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
No good man to me, guys. This hasn't come up
for a while, but I've still never been to.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
A waffle House.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah, you're the worst.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
We have never once in my life.
Speaker 8 (18:44):
Sorry, it's fun.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
You said you were gonna take me a long time.
You never did.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
We're getting back yourself, blaming you you avoided of blaming you.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
Back to the music with Milesmith.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
But coming up in a bit here, Zach has a
question about wedding etiquettes, So to stick around for that.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
It's coming on the River seven ky.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Zach and Meno in the mom I'm gonna preface this
question by the typical response is always yes, but we
can't wait to hear what you have to say. It's
one of seven five the River is Zach rude for
bringing a different plus one than his original plus one
to a wedding yesterday.
Speaker 9 (19:19):
So my boyfriend was supposed to go, he had to
call out because he had to go to work, so
he like was flying literally flying through a different state
to go to a work conference. And I already RSVP'd
for a plus one, so that way I knew that
they paid for an extra person at the table. So
I just slid in my best friend Jill because they
already paid for the table for the food.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
I have a lot of thoughts as someone who is,
you know, planning a wedding about this specific situation. But
I want to hear from other people because I don't
want it to just be me attacking Zach six one, five, seven, three, seven,
nine one oh seven. Is it rude that Zach brought
a complete random stranger to this wedding?
Speaker 1 (19:57):
No, instead of his agreed upon plus Let us know
what you think.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
Whose side are you on, Zach or Ricky? Let us know?
Speaker 3 (20:04):
It's the risk Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning On.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
You know, I love to rip Zach for things, and
this specific thing I think is very rippable. It's on
the river. Is Zach rude for bringing a plus one
to a wedding yesterday that is different from the original
agreed upon plus one?
Speaker 8 (20:24):
Okay, here's the thing.
Speaker 9 (20:25):
Though, my boyfriend was supposed to go, so rsvped for
me and my boyfriend. He couldn't go, but I knew
that the Bridon groom had already paid for this amount
of people to eat, So I just slid in my
best friend so that she could take the spot.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
A random Nikki and Murphy's Burrow. What do you think
about this?
Speaker 6 (20:41):
I just have one follow up question. Did you have
to specify your boyfriend?
Speaker 5 (20:46):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (20:46):
They are maybe a little bit rude, but they did
already pay for the food, and I would rather not
waste the trip, so I would say, no, I don't
think you're Zach's giving.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
Did you give him any heads up?
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Did you text and say like, hey, sorry, I'm bringing
so and so instead of David?
Speaker 8 (21:00):
Sure did not.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Okay, I just showed up.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
With a little rude again, just showed up with somebody random.
I think that would be very confusing for everybody involved.
But okay, well we have one sighting with Zach. Yeah, Nick, Nick,
thank you, have a great day. Love Kayla and Nashville.
Do you think Zach's a little rude for bringing a
different plus one yesterday to a wedding?
Speaker 7 (21:23):
No, I don't think.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
A long time ago.
Speaker 11 (21:26):
Back in twenty twenty, when my husband and I got married,
I had a friend that was supposed to bring her
original plus one, but that plus one could not come,
so she told me that she was bringing someone else instead,
and I told her that was perfectly okay with me.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
You just brought this random person.
Speaker 9 (21:44):
I didn't let the bride and groom know that I
was bringing someone else.
Speaker 11 (21:48):
I would have told him, But like like you said,
there's still paying for that plate.
Speaker 8 (21:52):
That was my thought process.
Speaker 9 (21:53):
I already know that they paid for this plate, so
I don't want to be the root person of like, hey,
number one, thank you for inviting me to your wedding,
but also now I'm just wasting your money because I
said yes, so an extra person.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
See, I think it's more of just like this is
your big special day and now there's just like a
person we don't know here that we weren't prepared for,
Like who's that over there?
Speaker 4 (22:12):
You know, it's just I don't know, it's like a
wedding etiquette thing.
Speaker 11 (22:15):
I would have said something and then like, hey, I
am bringing this person instead of this person because this
person couldn't come.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Okay, So I think we're coming back to the fact
that still a little rude. No one's like mad at
you about it based on the callers that we're getting,
but it comes back to you every time it seems
like it's a little rude, and mainly because everyone thinks
you should have warned the couple.
Speaker 9 (22:33):
Yeah, I probably should have looking back, but I didn't,
so we don't know that I can.
Speaker 8 (22:37):
Do about it now.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Caila, thank you for calling. We appreciate you.
Speaker 10 (22:40):
Y'all have a nice one.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Too, love, Zach, be completely honest. When at what point
did you know David it's going to.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Be out of town? Ah, because I.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Feel like we've been hearing about this trip of his
for a while, So you can't say last minute.
Speaker 9 (22:51):
I know, I would say probably like a week prior
that I knew that he wasn't going to be able
to go to the wedding because his flight was supposed
to be later in the day. Like, so it was
a week prior confirmed that I knew that he was
not going to be able to make it to the wedding.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Okay, I would be.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
So mad why by someone planning a wedding. I would
be so mad if somebody brought somebody who I do
not like actually know.
Speaker 9 (23:13):
Okay, so you're telling me that you know every single
one of your guests plus ones.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
No, but that's a little bit different. Why because I
know that that person is dating that person for X
amount of time, they're okay to come to the wedding.
Some random person I've never even like thought of before
or knew their name or heard of ever before in
my life coming to my wedding would send me over
the ex MO.
Speaker 8 (23:34):
People don't get a plus one.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
No they do, then you know who's.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Quote unquote single. They're not actually single, they're with somebody.
Speaker 8 (23:41):
But if they're not with somebody and they're single, they
don't get a plus. They don't know that is that's
messed up.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
No, it goes, Yeah, they don't. Do you know how
expensive it is to buy a plate for somebody?
Speaker 9 (23:52):
Do you know how boring it would be to go
to a wedding by myself?
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Oh gift, I've been nine one o seven.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
If you want a.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Chime in, RICKI Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
On one Benson boone, it's the river.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
We've been talking about Zach sort of u maybe making
a faux paw in terms of wedding etiquette. He brought
a rando to a wedding last night, so we're asking
how you would feel about that.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
About your wedder though he already rcp'd for his boyfriend
and he brought somebody else's.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Yeah, I did so. Ashley and white Bluff, good morning.
What do you think If I.
Speaker 7 (24:27):
Trust you and you are special enough to come to
my wedding, then I trust your judgment and who you're bringing.
So I don't think that Zach would ever have ill
intention of bringing somebody that you know that the brad
and groom or do not approve of. So in my opinion,
I wouldn't be mad at him.
Speaker 8 (24:42):
Thank you, Ashley? Are you married?
Speaker 7 (24:46):
I am married.
Speaker 9 (24:47):
I was about to say, if not, invite me to
your wedding and I'll bring another stranger.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Did you have any randos at your wedding, Ashley, like
people that you've never heard of before in your life?
Speaker 7 (24:55):
Well, ours is only family was very small and intimate.
Speaker 6 (24:58):
So no, I did it.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
I think the thought process more is like that this
is supposed to be a very special day, and you
go through these lists eight thousand times to cut certain
people out and add other people and make sure that
you're having the best amount of people that you want
to be around you. So to have somebody who you've
never heard of in your life come to the wedding
is like WHOA, what's going on here? Especially when you
weren't expecting it?
Speaker 5 (25:19):
Right.
Speaker 7 (25:20):
I don't disagree, but I don't hate it.
Speaker 9 (25:22):
I mean, there's also so many other people there at
the wedding, Like I guarantee you that they didn't even
recognize that she was there.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
The bred and groom did I say one.
Speaker 7 (25:31):
I think that way you could make mistake David for
your friends.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
Thank you for calling.
Speaker 7 (25:38):
Yes, you all have a great day, you too, loves to.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Kind of shocking that every caller we've talked to so
far has been on zach side.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
Ricky, nobody is.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
I will also say, though, that I get Ashley's viewpoint,
but she also just said she had a very small
intimate family wedding. She had a small intimate family wedding
because she only wanted people that she knew at the wedding.
So like, even though she's not mad about the fact
that you did it to somebody else, it seems like
nobody's mad that you did it. But I don't think
that it's ever happened to any of these callers.
Speaker 8 (26:04):
Well, let's see, that's.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
In Mount Juliet. What do you think about this situation?
Is it rude that Zach brought some random to the
wedding after telling the bride and groom that he was
going to bring his boyfriend?
Speaker 7 (26:13):
Not at all.
Speaker 10 (26:15):
I think Zach should have someone there with him that
he's gonna have fun with. And honestly, I don't go
to weddings that are that high.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
Strung Yeah, there's something to that.
Speaker 10 (26:27):
Honestly, I think it's fine that you didn't let the
bride and groom know beforehand either, because you know, if
you are coming to their wedding, they want you there.
I personally don't feel like I'm that important that I
need to bother the bride the week of her wedding
to let her know that I'm having a guest change.
Speaker 9 (26:47):
They invited me, so they were happy that I was there.
So it doesn't matter who my guess is or who
my plus was.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Listen, I'm shocked that everybody agrees with you. I just
will forever disagree. I think it's rude.
Speaker 9 (26:59):
That's just the real I just realized that I will
not be invited to Ricky's wedding.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
You may not be here. Hey, listen, that's like extra
money for me.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
To plus one. Yeah right, bring random. Thank you for calling.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
We appreciate it, Beth, thank you.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
Oh thank you, Ricky, Zach and Meno.
Speaker 5 (27:21):
In the morning on.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Seven five the River, I absolutely love today's Daily double Tap.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
It's specifically for you, Kevin, because when I found it,
I was like, this is Kevin, this is every thought
you've ever had on a nice morning when you wake
up and feel that air.
Speaker 8 (27:40):

Speaker 1 (27:42):
I love the fact that we're staring down the barrel
of the fall right now because there's lots of Chris
Mornings in our future.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
But here we go Today's Daily double tap. What is
it about getting older that like a crispy morning?
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Is Josh fi Dude, Like, like, you wake up and
it's like sixty degrees, it's just crisp.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
Beyond it.
Speaker 11 (27:59):
If you throw a crispy leaf under the foot too, Dude,
that's banana LMB baby.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
I'm there all day's dam like, dude, banana LMB baby.
Speaker 9 (28:09):
I love that guy that is literally Kevin every single
morning when it's like nice and sixty and he's like, oh,
the crisp morning air.
Speaker 8 (28:17):
It takes a deep breath of it.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
That's what I live for.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
He is so dramatic about it. Chris Morning.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
I never feel better than I do on a Chris morning.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
And I love if this guy calls it crispy instead
of Crispy's like, it's a crispy morning.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
It's banana land. You gotta see this guy will post
the video the Daily.
