Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Just a little bit past six o'clock this morning, Ricky
Sanchez has those three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
The new season of Euphoria is almost done filming. The
production was delayed years due to the actors and writers
strike as well as other factors, so there will be
a time jump happening this season. It's going to put
the characters past high school. You can expect some of
the core casts like Zendia, Sidney Sweeney, and Hunter Schaeffer,
with new editions like Rosalia and Marshawn Lynch. The third
(00:30):
season is set to release spring of twenty twenty six.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Finally, I'm so excited about it.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
USPS has officially kicked off Operation Santa for it's one
hundred and thirteenth year, so kids and families are invited
to send letters to Santa starting now. Letters must be
postmarked by December sixth in order to be eligible, and
this year's participants can even adopt an entire family's letter
to make more wishes come true at once, So beginning
November seventeenth, if you're looking to adopt a family, adopt
(00:59):
a letter. There will also be access to an expanded
online gift catalog as well. They're trying to make it
easier to shop and ship directly to the families of
the letters that you adopt. Go to USPS operationsanta dot
com for all the info that you need on this.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
I love that they do this every year.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I didn't realize it was one hundred and thirteenth years,
so that's amazing to hear. And the Valentine on Broadway
announced that it's closing its doors for renovations.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
They're not going anywhere. They are going to reopen, but they.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Shared the news on social media that the Bar and
Grill said that they plan for a remodel in spring
of twenty twenty six. It's unclear when they're going to reopen,
but they said that they're ready for a new chapter though,
so just keep that in mind, happening next year.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
Thanks for being a part of our morning Ricky.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Zach and Meno in the Morning on one the River.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Everybody listening right now should shrap in because I have
no idea where this is about to go. It's Ricky,
Zach and Mano in the Morning on one O seven
five of the River. Zach came in to the studio
just firing off spicy comments left and right. He's ready
to break up with his boyfriend. He hasn't told me
why yet, but.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Apparently something really terrible happened.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
I at wing think it might be the most rude
thing he's ever done my entire life. So, my boyfriend
is out of town on a work conference, and so
every single night before we both go to bed.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
We like call and talk to each other before we
go to bed.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
So last night he called me and was like, Hey,
how was your day? So I started telling him everything
about my day. You know, the next thing that I
heard what he fell asleep on the phone while I
was talking to him.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Okay, well, how boring was your day?
Speaker 6 (02:41):
It was not boring.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Literally in the middle of me talking about my day
when he asked me the question, he literally, I heard, at.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
What point did you hear snoring?
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Was it like halfway through or at the end when
you stopped talking?
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Is when you heard it?
Speaker 2 (02:56):
No, I would say, like a fourth of the way through.
Like I didn't even make it to my afternoon yet.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
I was like, baby, hello David, and he was like, what.
Speaker 6 (03:08):
What I'm here? I was like, no, you literally just
fell asleep on the phone with me.
Speaker 7 (03:13):
He's working, he's traveling, he's tired, So.
Speaker 6 (03:16):
You're making excuses for him.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I am because I really feel like it's warranted. You
told me about your day yesterday, Zach, and it wasn't
that thriller.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
It was really exciting. I took the dogs to the
dog park, I went to Chipotle.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Like he moved a couch.
Speaker 6 (03:30):
Yeah, I moved the couch. It was a thrilling day.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Gonna be honest with you, I would also fall asleep
if I wasn't reading it in a text message when
you told me what your day was like yesterday.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
So like, why ask me the question and then fall
asleep in the middle of my response?
Speaker 4 (03:44):
He was being kind.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
They don't ask me the question.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
But then if he didn't ask you the question, you'd
be mad that he didn't. I wouldn't care if he
didn't call you last night.
Speaker 7 (03:53):
You would be so.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Mad right now.
Speaker 6 (03:55):
If he didn't call me, I would be mad. That's fine.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
So what did you expect him to say when he
called you.
Speaker 6 (04:00):
Hey, honey, I'm at a work event. Love you so much?
Sleep tight? That would have been fine.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
I don't I don't believe you.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
But he just falls asleep on the phone, and that's okay.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
You just have to have a more thrilling day today.
And I don't think he'll fall asleep tonight.
Speaker 6 (04:14):
I can genuinely shocked that you are on his side.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
I'm on his side. He's tired.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Like what if you called your fiance AJ and he
was like, hey, honey, tell me about like what.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
You did today. So you started telling him and he
fell asleep.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
I would be like, he's tired, he had a long day.
I would get over it. No, I wouldn't come into
work the next day and be like, I need to
break up with him.
Speaker 6 (04:36):
I'm so mad right now.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
That's okay. You could be mad, but I'm on David's
side this time.
Speaker 6 (04:40):
I did not even sleep last night. I was so mad.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
That's okay.
Speaker 6 (04:44):
You can take that.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
He fell asleep on the phone and I couldn't fall
asleep at all.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
We're gonna take deep breaths.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
We're gonna take deep breath Three things.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
Oh good morning.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
It's a beautiful sunny morning on this Tuesday after seven o'clock,
and Ricky Sanchez has those three things you need to know, y'all.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
This Coachella lineup is crazy this year, and they announced
it early. This is like super early for them to
do it. It was a surprise to fans. But the
people who are headliners this year are Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber,
and Carol g Some other artists that are set to
perform include Addison Ray, Teddy Swims, Young Thug, Cat's Eye,
(05:25):
Gigi Prez, Somber, Sexy, Red Turnstile who I'm so upset
that I missed last night, and obviously so many more.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
They're all going to be playing at Coachella this year.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
The festival's happening in California April tenth through the twelfth,
and then the seventeenth through the nineteenth. Passes go on
sale this Friday, September nineteenth, at eleven am Pacific.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
If it's something that you want to go to.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
I've never been to Coachella and I've been dying to go.
I think this might be the year that I spend
every cent that I have to go, So cross your
fingers for me that I get some tickets. But this
is the craziest lineup I've seen in years. The Girl
Scouts are adding something to their lineup. They have a
new cookie for twenty twenty six. It's called Explorer Moors,
(06:06):
which is adorable. It's a Rocky Road ice cream inspired cookie,
so it's filled with things like chocolate, marshmallow and toasted
almond flavored cream. They're gonna be available nationally online, in
person at local booths, all coming for the twenty twenty
six Girl Scout Cookie season and the General Jackson Showboat
has a new tailgate cruise series that's happening this season.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
This is pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
So if you want to, you know, switch it up
a little bit and maybe not go to a bar
to watch the game, you can go on this cruise.
It's gonna have a buffet style breakfast, a live DJ,
a large screen on board that's gonna stream both the
pregame coverage as well as the afternoon game. It's gonna
happen September twenty first, November sixteenth, and December twenty eighth.
Tickets are on sale now on their website. Just a
(06:51):
fun way to, you know, watch the game. It's a
little different. I love this idea, Amrichy Sanchez than those
are the three things.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
You need to know.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Ricky, Zach and Minno in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
It's Ricky Zach and Manno in the morning on one
O seven five the River. I went to a bachelorette
over the weekend and I did what I see a
lot of bachelorettes doing, which is asking people to buy
the bride a drink with a link to a Venmo account.
And I just found out that apparently people think that's
rude and tacky. Savannah and Hendersonville, what do you think
about this?
Speaker 8 (07:23):
I don't think it's rude or tacky at all. Twenty
years ago, I was my sister's maid of honor and
I made a shirt that said for my sister that said,
buy me a shot. I'm time than not kid. It's
not uncommon, it's not tacky. I feel like men might
think so if they don't want to spend any money,
(07:46):
But I don't think it's raider taxi at all.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
I c I think there's a complete and utter difference.
I think there's a difference is if you do it
in person. I don't think it's that bad of like, yeah,
you can buy the brider drink, but then when you
start like basically a go fund Me account for the
bachelorette party, That's what it feels like with the Venmo
kind of like buy the bride a drink because you
don't know how much money is already in that account.
Speaker 6 (08:10):
You said, one singular life.
Speaker 7 (08:12):
It doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
About the amount of money that's in the account.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Because why is that an issue that one singular person
gave a thousand dollars to this account.
Speaker 7 (08:19):
That is a thing.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
One person did give a thousand dollars to us, So like, and.
Speaker 6 (08:23):
Then what happened to thee thousand dollars?
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Yeah, which is really nice, Savannah. Savanna's like, wow.
Speaker 8 (08:27):
What everyone exactly? It paid for Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
Thank you Savannah.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
It paid for us to have table service at this
one bar, which was really nice.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Or it could have, like I don't know, taken a
thousand dollars off the house that you guys paid for.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Okay, but it didn't.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
But if it did, the problem, Yeah, Like that's what exactly, Savannah.
So that's my whole thing is like you do not
have to send the money. If you see it on
my you know, Instagram account, you go, oh that's tacky.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
You go to the next story and just don't send anything.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
I also, so just don't feel like you should be
getting married if you're asking other people for money.
Speaker 7 (09:04):
Then like, no one's asking for money for the wedding.
Speaker 6 (09:06):
You're literally asking for money.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
Yeah, but not for the wedding. It's to go out
and have fun.
Speaker 6 (09:11):
Then go out and have fun and not ask other
people for things.
Speaker 8 (09:14):
I don't know why every expensive, and I think it's
kay than end of the day. I would I would
wrap it up with, don't be worried about what I'll
be doing, worry about what you'd be.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
Doing, my girl, Savannah, That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 7 (09:28):
Thank you so much for calling in this morning. I
appreciate you.
Speaker 8 (09:31):
You're welcome. You'll have a happy day too.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Honestly, I just think it's really rude and extremely tacky.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
I just don't think we're ever going to agree on
this thing. So agree to disagree, but I want to
hear from other people. Six one, five, seven, three, seven,
nine one oh seven. Is it tacky and apparently rude
to ask people to pay for a bride's drinks at
a bachelorette.
Speaker 5 (09:55):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
and Meno.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
In the morning the River, we are about.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
To get into Kevin Manno's Game of the Day presented
by Genesis Diamonds on one oh seven.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Five the River.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
We are playing topical trivia for weekend passes to Pilgrimage
Festival happening September twenty seventh and twenty eighth, So next
weekend we got Ashley and Dixon on the line.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
Good morning Ashley.
Speaker 8 (10:16):
Good morning guys.
Speaker 6 (10:18):
Hello Darling, are you ready?
Speaker 2 (10:20):
Do you feel like you're like up to date on
all of the topical trivia?
Speaker 8 (10:24):
Honestly, no, because I've tried to bury my head in
the sandswer about the past week.
Speaker 6 (10:28):
But I mean that's fair.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Well, Zach is going to take over because Kevin's not here.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
He's gonna ask you your questions, so your game will
start right now.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Okay, Ashley and Dixon. There was a lot of new
music that's coming out lately. But who released a new
album that is called Play that came out on Friday.
Oh no, And I heard you say that, any guesses?
Speaker 8 (10:57):
Is it Sabrina Carpenter?
Speaker 7 (10:59):
No, it's okay, it's Ed Sheeran.
Speaker 8 (11:06):
Hey, I heard something about him. He's moved to Nashville permanently.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
I did hear that as well, But clearly you didn't
hear about his new album. Okay, I am so sorry. Ashley,
you are not on the board yet. You have to
get the next two correct to win these tickets to
Pilgrimage Festivals. So the next question is this Halloween, we'll
see a lot of Roomy, Mara, Mira and Zoe costumes.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
What movie characters represent those?
Speaker 8 (11:33):
My kids?
Speaker 7 (11:36):
Yeah, let me go point on the board.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
I'm proud of you, Okay, Ashley. Last question for you. You
get this one, you win. Last question is Lady Gaga
has a small role in what current TV show?
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Yeah, Wednesday, Ashley.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Congratulations, you are going to Pilgrimage Festival next week. John
Than Kings of Leon, Ashley, You're all going to be there.
How exciting.
Speaker 8 (12:05):
I'm beyond excited. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
Congratsla. We're really pumped for you. Hang on the line though,
so we can get your info.
Speaker 8 (12:11):
Okay, okay, thank you.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 6 (12:16):
Good morning, Good morning, and happy Tuesday. Ricky Sanchez has
the three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
There is a clip of Keiki Palmer and the host
of Hot Ones Sean Evans kissing on his show.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
It's circulating the internet right now.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Kiki Palmer was on Hot Ones again and things got
a little more spicy than they normally do. This was
I think her second or third time on the show,
so she brought up how last time she was on
the show, the host Sean Evans had said that she
was his favorite guest, so she suggested, you.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
Know, maybe they kissed to see if there's a spark
between the two of them.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Afterwards, Keiki said quote, the spark was sparking, and the
crew cheered in the background. Obviously, now we just wait
to see if this is all a ployer, if maybe
there's something going on between the two of them. Who knows,
But obviously Kiki is always hilariou you should watch her
hot ones with Sean Evans because you know it's gonna
bring so much laughter. Smell maxing is the latest obsession
(13:07):
among gen zers, and it's gonna make you sneeze just
hearing what it is. So the idea here is maximizing
your scent by layering multiple fragrances to create what they
think is a unique and personal scent. The trends all
over TikTok, It's perfume talk, It's taken over. There's over
nine billion views about perfume talk and about smell Maxing.
(13:29):
So teenage boys right now are getting rid of you know,
axe body sprays and things like that and investing in
high end cologne, which is.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Great, love that, but this whole layering.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Situation is gonna make people everywhere sneeze, cough, and possibly
pass out. But just so you know, if your teenager
smells just extra extra colony or perfume me, this is
why it's a new thing. Smell Maxing and Gaylord Opera Land.
They are going to debut their new circ holiday show
this season. Pomp, Snow and Circumstance is going to make
(14:00):
their Nashview debut in November. The show is based on
a storybook series and television special that follows the journey
of three best friends, Pomp, Snow and Circumstance, as they
study music, magic, and circus all of these fun little things.
They go to a secret university. It's a really cute
holiday message. This holiday show is going to take center
(14:21):
stage at the Resort November twenty fifth through December thirty.
First something fun to add to your family repertoire this
holiday season, Imrichy Sanchez and those are the three things
you need to know.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Do you have something that you hate to do, like
a chore that your significant other typically takes on.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
And then when they're not around, you have to do it.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Because Zach did laundry for the very first time because
his boyfriend's not around to do it for him, and
he is apparently sore today.
Speaker 6 (14:53):
When I tell you that I'm actually exhausted.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
After doing laundry.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
I did three loads of laundry and like you have
to pay take it up out of the hamper, then
you have to carry it over to the washing machine,
like my arms hurt is your door.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Washing machine and your dryer not close.
Speaker 6 (15:08):
To your other.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
From the hamper in my bathroom to my wash machine,
that's a long way.
Speaker 7 (15:17):
It's not that long.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
It's not like you live in a mansion.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
I don't, but it felt like a really long way.
But yeah, I did three loads of laundry yesterday and
I felt like so accomplished, but also like so annoyed
that I had to do it.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
David does it for you all the time, so you
never have to worry about it, and you're realizing that
maybe you should be a little more thankful that he
does it for you.
Speaker 6 (15:36):
I say, I think, thank you every single week that
he does it.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
That is very nice of you. I hate doing the
dishes when AJ is not around. I will literally not
use specific dishes because I don't want to clean them,
and I will eat out of containers. I have even
lined plates with tinfoil before so that I you're lying,
it's actually gave me like I'm crazy. I swear to
God I've done it. I will do that so that
(15:59):
I don't have to do dishes. I hate doing the dishes.
AJ does them for us all the time.
Speaker 6 (16:06):
I feel like you just put them in the dishwasher.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
You have to rinse them, put them in the dishwasher,
start it. Then when it's done, you got to put
them away and then use them, and then put them
in the sink and then rinse them and then put
them in.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
The dish It's a whole thing utter spoiled brats, I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
But also we have specific dishes that we have to
wash like hand wash, and that makes me certifiably nuts.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
I hate doing I make AJ do.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Hate doing is picking up after my dogs, like when
they go in the backyard.
Speaker 6 (16:32):
I cannot do it.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
David does it for you.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Yeah, it's a rough out yard if you have something
that you hate to do when your significant other isn't around,
because they always just do it for you. Six one, five, seven, three, seven,
nine one oh seven. Let's talk about it.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
We can't be alone in this Thanks for being a
part of our morning, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
It's slightly embarrassing to admit this, but one of my
obsessions right now is The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Speaker 6 (16:59):
That's extremely embarrassing.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
Because it's about a bunch of like kids, but I can't.
Speaker 6 (17:04):
Stop watching it. I feel like that's everybody right now.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Though I know I'm not alone, so that's what makes
it less embarrassing. But this daily double tap on one
of seven five of the River is a song for
everybody who watches The Summer I Turn Pretty. Tomorrow is
a big episode, so it's all I can think about.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Here's a daily double tap.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Good Man by.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
The thought of your dist guys.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
End up together.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
He always has it on an.
Speaker 5 (17:35):
I like Mina with her mom and Beth.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
They makes goods et Ceta and Jeremiah your tantruma but
the red Birke a camical glass trip cake wisdom.
Speaker 6 (17:47):
That makes dumb. I have no idea what they're talking.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
For anybody who has not watched it, it makes zero sense.
But for everybody who has it makes nothing but sense.
It is a show that everybody should watch. I just
highly rec amain if.
Speaker 6 (18:00):
You get a chanced to. I know that there's like
Team Conrad and Team Jeremiah. Which team are you?
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Team Conrad?
Speaker 6 (18:05):
Okay, why did you say it?
Speaker 7 (18:07):
Like, because I'm disgusted you would even ask that question.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
I don't even know what Jeremiah is a brain.
Speaker 4 (18:13):
I have a brain. I'm Team Conrad.
Speaker 6 (18:14):
Okay, Okay, Now I'm going to post a video.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
On one O seven five the River's Instagram account bright
in the Stories. You can watch it there, Share it
with your other friends who also watched the summer I.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
Turned pretty Thanks for being a part of our morning
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning on the River.
