Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to sit past nine o'clock on
this Monday morning, the first day of fall. We made
it happy Fall. Ricky Sanchez is right here with those
three things.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
An AI artist has signed a three million dollar deal
with a record company. Record Labels took meetings last week
with Zania Monet. She's an R and B act who
already has millions of streams. So she's an AI robot
created by a Mississippi woman named Talisia Jones who writes
her own lyrics, but she uses the AI platform Souno
to make them into music. So this is kind of
(00:30):
crazy because there are a lot of AI rights issues
that are unsettled, lots of lawsuits surrounding AI and what
can happen with AI acts like this one.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
But record labels are still making deals.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
A recent study share that people working in music are
likely to lose a quarter of their income to artificial
intelligence over the next four years, which is pretty insane.
I would keep you updated on how this goes, also
updated on you know where the lawsuits are and all
of this.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Obviously, this is music city.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
We have a lot of amazing, phenomenal talented artists here
in Nashville and you know everywhere that we should be supporting,
so I'll.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Keep you updated on how that all pans out.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
The University of Tennessee is offering a Grand Theft Auto
History class. So this class is titled Grand Theft America
US History since nineteen eighty through the Grand Theft Auto
video games. It's going to be available for spring semester
next year, so twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
The professor of.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
The class explained that it will be quote more about
American history than the games themselves, but Grand Theft Auto
provides the framework that structures our exploration of the past.
I think this is a great way to get younger
generations into history and into you know, learning new things,
meet them where they're at. Essentially, because Grand Theft Auto.
Even though it's a very interesting and kind of scary
(01:43):
game for people to be playing.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
It's a huge one and people love it.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
So this is a very interesting way to get kids
more interested in history and The National Toy Hall of
Fame has just released its twenty twenty five finalists lists.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Here are some of the nominees this year.

favorite on the website, and then ultimately three of them
will be chosen to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
I'm Maricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know, Ricky.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
If you could vote for one of those that you
just mentioned, what would it be Ferbi?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Okay, I loved my Ferby.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Mine would be cornhole because it's still the test of time.
I was playing cornhole this weekend.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
You love cornhole?
Speaker 4 (02:28):
I do.
Speaker 1 (02:28):

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Though you're not that great at it.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
We'll talk about this later.

dropped me off at home, his bike not on the
way back, so, oh.
Speaker 7 (03:23):
No, that's no good.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
I think it wasn't you on the bike.
Speaker 8 (03:27):
He was close to the house Easton.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Do you always wake up this early in the morning?
I feel like this is pretty early.
Speaker 9 (03:33):
Yeah, what do you do?
Speaker 1 (03:34):
What's your morning schedule?
Speaker 8 (03:36):
Take a shower, eat my breakfast?
Speaker 9 (03:38):
Hip.
Speaker 8 (03:38):
Then I got my chickens. Couldn't be my.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Dog, okay, chickens.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
I want chickens responsible.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
How many do you have? How many chickens do you have?
Speaker 9 (03:48):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (03:48):
Yeah, snow, we have uh pepper, we have puppy dog.
Speaker 7 (03:54):
I want a chicken named puppy dog so bad. I
think that's so cute.
Speaker 8 (03:59):
You come to you.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
My favorite thing are animals named other animals. So like
the fact that you have a chicken named puppy Dog
is truly the best thing I've ever heard. Well, Easton,
I feel like we've grilled you enough this morning. It's
time to tell you that you are the first color
of the day. On one of seven, five The River,
you're getting tickets.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
To get Big X the Plug at the Rieman on
October first.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
I think, my here mom in the background. I feel
like we the tickets kind of sort of need to
go to mom. Big X the Plug might not be
both of that super I don't even know if Easton
can get into this show. Yes, is there an age limit?
I don't know, there's still age limit.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Kevin's being dramatic.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
It means that you both get the tickets, because obviously
that's how it works.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Easton, You're too young to actually get them, but that
means that mom can take you.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yeah, congratulations, guys, hang on the line, Okay, we gotta
get your info.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
From your mom.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
We're gonna have more tomorrow. We're gonna have more all week,
so wake your kids up.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 9 (05:03):
On one oh seven five The River.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
I don't like confrontation, and Zach, I love you, but
I do think we're about to get into it here.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
Oh, it's going to be a heated debate.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
We're trying to figure out which one of us is right,
which one of us is wrong. To hang out. Supposed
to hang out this weekend didn't happen, but we do
have receipts. We were texting all weekend about it.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
So Ricky will I'm going to be the judge, yes, please,
I have no skin in the game when it comes
to either of you, so I'm impartial. I am here
as Judge Sanchez, ready for her duty.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Okay, right after this song, we'll get into it. Ricky
is going to decide once and for all who's right
who's wrong.
Speaker 6 (05:39):
Next, Ricky, Zach and Meno.
Speaker 9 (05:42):
In the morning on one O seven five the River.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
The one oh seven five the River court is officially
in session the case of z Woodward versus k Man
will be heard presiding by Judge Sanchez.
Speaker 7 (05:54):
Thank you your honor for having us.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Okay, you're both trying to get extra point already. So
the situation here explained to me exactly what happened. I'm
gonna first go to Zach because I believe this is
all your idea.
Speaker 10 (06:08):
Yes, So, Kevin and I were supposed to hang out
on Saturday.
Speaker 7 (06:11):
My mom was even so excited.
Speaker 10 (06:12):
She was like, Oh, I can't wait to go to
brunch with keV dogg super excited to have brunch with
him on Saturday.
Speaker 11 (06:18):
Okay.
Speaker 10 (06:19):
I did not hear anything or confirmation from him all
week long.
Speaker 7 (06:23):
He said, yeah, we'll figure it out the day of.
There's still no confirmation.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Okay.
Speaker 10 (06:27):
So then I texted him the night before to no
response until later later afterward, I was flying.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
I was traveling as well well, Kevin, hold.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
On, okay, sir.
Speaker 10 (06:36):
So anyways, then he was like, oh, yeah, sorry, I
have to take my children to some trampoline park from
eleven thirty to one thirty. I'm sorry that now ruins
our brunch plants. That's brunch time.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Okay, all right, hold on, Zach, Kevin, what is your
defense here?
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (06:52):
I said, I have to go to this party from
eleven to one thirty. And he said, we're wide open
all day, so we can even do something after one
thirty for lunch. And I said, okay, great, let's figure
it out tomorrow and then the next day text me
tomorrow yeah, And then I said, okay, yeah, I'm free
after one thirty well, let's get lunch, let's do the
thing we talked about doing. Or I even invited you
to come hang out of the trampoline place and you
said no, no tripoline park and you said no question,
(07:16):
you said no, we now have other plans. You said, no,
we're going to a pool party. After I said let's
do the thing we talked about doing, I said, let's
get lunch at one thirty, which is what had been
previously discussed.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
I will say, I will say I've heard both sides.
I do have the receipts in front of me, the
text messages between the two of you.
Speaker 7 (07:33):
Shall we also say that I was out there.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
I did not ask you.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Funeral family jud John says did not ask you to speak.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
I did not ask you to speak.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
I'm I do have the receipts right here. And Kevin
did indeed say why don't we meet up afterwards? And
you did say, apparently we're going to a pool party
around one.
Speaker 7 (07:56):
So that is correct.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
It does look as though Kevin did try to make
up for his initial mess up of the plans by
giving you an alternative time, by giving you an alternative time,
and you said that you could no longer do that time.
Speaker 7 (08:09):
Now, I do you see that?
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Zach said we can do something after one for lunch.
He floated that plan, and then when I.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Calmed down, yep, I did I do see that. I
think you're both at fault. You're both at fault.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Kevin, you initially just messed up all of the plans
by switching everything up last minute.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
I was trying to ken not done speaking.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
I will hold you in contempt.
Speaker 6 (08:32):
Kevin.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
You initially ruined the initial plans that they already that
you guys had already agreed upon.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
You did try to make it up.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
You did try to make it up with different plans
that Zach did already agree to the alternative plans, and
then last minute said can't do those alternative plans. You're
both wrong. That is a decision of the courts. I
do not care what else you guys.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Have to say.
Speaker 7 (08:50):
I was trying to schedule eight. No, and now Kevin
it is just Lucy goosey. It can do whatever he wants.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
All right, I'm just going wrong. I'm gonna go with
the judges ruling here.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
You're both wrong.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
All right, we'll take it. Thanks, thanks your honor. I
we never had firm plans to begin with, we never
had agreed on anything, so I didn't ruin any.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
That was agreed upon. Yeah, for that day, brunch was
agreed upon.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
You know, want to know when brunches eleven thirty to
about one o'clock, which then is the time frame that
which you had other plans.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
You're both wrong.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Demand on the course.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
Three things.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Just past seven o'clock on this Monday morning. Thank you
for being here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Taylor swifts.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
The Life of a Showgirl release parties gave AMC their
sixth highest day of pre sales. So the official release
party of a show Girl is October third through the fifth,
only in theaters.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Taylor just announced this recently.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
You'll get to see exclusive behind the scenes footage and
the lyric videos from the new album. Taylor did say
in a social media post that quote dancing is optional.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
But very much encouraged.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
First a ticket sales topped fifteen million, which outpaced every
twenty twenty five film Wow. Weekend box office performance for
these screenings could reach fifty million, which is huge for
AMC and huge for theaters.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Right now, we got our tickets.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
You did good. Because it's gonna be hard to get
any at this point.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
And speaking of Taylor Swift, Funfetti the Cake Mix my
favorite cake mix because they do the little sprinkles on
the inside, and I know that it's just vanilla cake,
but for some reason those sprinkles make it taste better.
But Funfetti the Cake Mix has released Sourdough Mix after
Taylor Swift said that she's been baking rainbow bread. So
the bread is quote equal parts tangy, sourdough and sweet
(10:41):
celebration with the texture sourdough and plenty of Funfetti sprinkles.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
So it's just so fun.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
The box includes Sourdough bread Mix, a packet of sprinkles,
and yeast. They're all gonna be available for pre order
at Funfetti dot com starting September twenty fourth, so this Wednesday,
and then of course you're going to see them in
stores at some point, hopefully before the release of her
new album. Maybe you can listen to the album and
make your own sourdough Funfetti at home.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
A little bit rainbow bread.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Action and a Nashville fave made Food and Wine Magazine's
list of best sandwich spots. Bill's Sandwich Palace in East Nashville.
They were dubbed as a quote palace of inventive over
the top sandwiches, which, if you know bills, that's exactly
the perfect way to describe them.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
They have.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
The craziest sandwiches is that they make there. I've seen
insane pictures of these massive sandwiches. It came in at
number nine of thirteen on the list. If you have
not checked them out, and you love sandwiches or you're
looking for a new fun spot to check out, please
go support them. I haven't been able to try any
yet because they pack out obviously, but get there.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
If you do, you have to have a gluten free
bread for you.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
No, but sometimes they do sour dough, okay, and I
can do sourdough, so I can mess around with that.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
I'm rick Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Thank you so much, Ricky. Let's play Shaboozi and then
let's learn. Let's start this brand new week this Monday
morning with some knowledge Zach's facts. He's got something for
us in three minutes on.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
The river for Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning
on one oh seven five.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
The River.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Happy Monday, It's time for you to learn something new.
It's Zach's fax on one O seven five of the River.
Speaker 10 (12:18):
This is super random, and I apologize for it, but
did you guys know that there are more fake flamingos
in the world than real ones?
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Oh, like those plastic ones people put in their yards.
Speaker 10 (12:27):
Yeah, so apparently there's between three point five and four
point five million actual flamingos in the wild, but there
are tens of millions of plastic flamingos that people have.
Speaker 9 (12:37):
In their yard.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
That's insane.
Speaker 7 (12:39):
There's your fact that today, thanks xactly.
Speaker 6 (12:41):
For Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 9 (12:43):
On one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
What was your go to excuse for getting out of
school when you were younger?
Speaker 3 (12:49):
It's one of seven five of the River.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Zach found a list of like different reasons why kids
you know, may not go to school or whatever, and
it got us started on the excuses we'd.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Get to have, like a sick day for school.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Yeah, I was a good kid. I can't play along
with this, but I am curious now that I have
kids of my own, I want to know some of
these common excuses.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
You never used A random excuse to get out of school.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
I don't I truly don't know if I ever did.
I was pretty honest little guy with my parents.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Wow six one five, seven, three seven nine one oh seven.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
What was your go to excuse?
Speaker 2 (13:24):
I want to know if it worked too, Like, did
your parents fall for it or did they know that
you were lying?
Speaker 12 (13:28):
I need all the details, Ricky, Zach and Menno in
the morning on one the.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
River your go to excuse for getting out of school
when you were younger. We're going to be giving kids
a lot of really bad ideas here on one O
seven five of the river. Oh, in in Murphysboro. What
did you always go to?
Speaker 9 (13:44):
Oh?
Speaker 13 (13:45):
This wasn't mine, but my child used at once when
it was dressed like your parent day for same week,
and he said, I'd rather I think I'm going to
dress like my dad today and just probably not show up.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah, that's a great light. How old was this kid
when he said this? That is such a good line.
Speaker 13 (14:01):
He was in high school and it did earn him
a day off. Yeah, so it did work.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
That is hilarious. I am impressed.
Speaker 13 (14:09):
I know I was too, so the day off.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
You raised a kid with a great sense of humor,
and that is so important in the world to have
a good sense of humor about things. I was not
expecting that it means neither.
Speaker 7 (14:20):
I didn't know where you were going with it, but
I'm glad that's where it went.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Go have a good day, Thank you so much and
have a great day of Heather eleven in what was
your go to excuse for getting out of school when
you were younger?
Speaker 14 (14:30):
So it's not necessarily the excuse, but the action I
had to do with my mom is like terrified of
put So I would go in the bathroom, make the
noise like I was thrown up, and pour water into
the toilet and she would just yell at me through
the door, like back down, baby.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Oh how often would you do this?
Speaker 8 (14:49):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (14:49):
You know?
Speaker 14 (14:50):
Just like so that's crazy.
Speaker 7 (14:53):
That's also like kind of up dedication to to your craft.
Speaker 14 (14:56):
I needed a little mental health, right.
Speaker 7 (14:59):
Yes, I'm impressed.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Commitment to the bit is something that will always impress
us here on Ricky Zacamano in the morning, and that
his commitment to the bit.
Speaker 14 (15:07):
You did a full scene, all right.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
I'd get I'd get a little concerned if my kid
was throwing up once a month in the bathroom like that,
I'd warrant a doctor's appointment. I think.
Speaker 14 (15:19):
You didn't want to deal with thee and I was
born in eighty eight. They did not take us to
the doctor.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Okay, good point, I get that too, Heather, thank you
so much for calling in this morning.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
We hope you have a great day.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
Love.
Speaker 13 (15:30):
Thank you bye.
Speaker 9 (15:32):
Zach.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
I'm sure you could go on and on and on
about excuses you used when you were younger, But what
what was one of yours?
Speaker 10 (15:37):
Honestly, I think my favorite one is I would always
blame it on my dog. I would never say like
I was sick. I would just be like, oh.
Speaker 7 (15:43):
Indy doesn't feel good. I need to stay home with
my dog. And my mother would be like, yeah, you
need to stay home with Indy.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Oh, that's actually.
Speaker 10 (15:50):
So sweet that I wanted to hang out with my
dog all day.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
That I was not expecting as sweet and endearing kind
of excuse from Zach.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
But that that's.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Adorable, that's cute. Shot not surprising that your mom would
just be like, okay, whatever, yeah, Ricky, what about you?
I'm sure you had some as well.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
I had a full production. My brother and I had
full like we would tag team together that we were
both sick, like it was very much like the one
of us got the other one sick kind of thing.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Because we always.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Felt like two people, they would believe that more than just.
Speaker 7 (16:19):
One does make it way more believable.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
And we did a full production much like Heather, where
like we would make fake throw up and we would
like make sure that our thermometer would be really high,
put it next to the light bulb. Yes, like we
would put it right next to the light bulb, make
sure that it looked like it was really warm, and
we would play it off so smooth. And then the
worst part though, was since we were both home an
hour into it, we're fine and we're playing, and our
(16:44):
mom would know.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
That, yeah, six three, seven, nine seven your go to
excuse for getting out of school and you were younger.
Plus don't forget we have MGK tickets.
Speaker 12 (16:54):
Next with the Game of the Day, Ricky, Zach and
Menno in the morning.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
On talking about go to excuses we used when we
were younger to get out of school. We have Trisha
and Chapel Hill on the line. Tricia, what was your
go to?
Speaker 15 (17:08):
I used to plug my hair straightener up and my
parents used to tell me, you can't stay home unless
you're puking or you got a fever. So I'd plug
my hair straightener up and I'd put my hair straightener
up on my forehead and we walk out and then
tell them that I was running a horrible fever.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Holy would you have to burn yourself with the straightener?
Speaker 15 (17:28):
No, just the back of it, not like the hot plates,
but like the backside of it.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Okay, okay, I've burnt myself more times than I can
count on one of those things.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
That's why I immediately got there that you got injured.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
We've talked to a few people here this morning about this.
This is the first time I feel compelled to say, kids,
do not try this.
Speaker 15 (17:45):
No, we don't care. We'll do anything to say that
is true.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
That is true.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
A kid who is determined to stay home from school
will do anything.
Speaker 7 (17:53):
Where there's a will, there's a way.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
Babe, Sacs, have a great day.
Speaker 15 (17:57):
Yeah, you'd me on the radio, have a great day.
Love bye.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Thanks for infecting the youth of America with your terrible ideas.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Okay, pretty bad ideas here, Kevin, just because you were
searchteen and never playing to your periods Cautius.
Speaker 10 (18:13):
Kevin over here, don't you put the bear straightener on
your forehead.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
I was a good kid.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Guys, don't let your parents get into school.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
I was bullied for it then, and I'm bullied for
it now. I'm forty two years old. We're playing the
Game of the Day for MGK tickets.
Speaker 6 (18:26):
Next Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
MGK is going on tour, the Lost Americana Tour.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
It's gonna be phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
You can win your way in with Kevin Mano's Game
of the Day on one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
I feel like it's maybe gonna be a tougher game.
It's a game we've never played before. We've done like
name that Tune in the past, but this is named
that tune.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Plus Okay, what does that mean?
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Well, it's name that tune plus a trivia question. So
we're gonna play you a little clip of a song.
It's literally one second long. It's the beginning of a song.
If you can, all you really have to do is
identify the artist. Okay, just give us the artist.
Speaker 9 (19:00):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
And then if you can do that correctly, you're only
halfway there. You then have to answer a trivia question
about that artist.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Okay, so you made it a little difficult this time,
but I think I think everyone's gonna be fine.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Name that Tune Plus, We're gonna play it for you
right now. If you can identify the artist from this
will one second clip you call six one five, seven,
three seven nine, one oh seven. Here we go. Today's
audio clue. Easy, it's once. Oh my gosh, Ricky says, easy.
I'm gonna play it one more time. Okay, six one five, seven,
(19:31):
three seven nine, one oh seven. Identify that artist's Yeah,
you're right. We're playing next out of the River.
Speaker 6 (19:39):
It's game time, babies, Ricky, Zach and Meno.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
In the morning on Kevin really decided he was gonna
do like a way more complicated game than usual today.
But I kind of feel like it's easy. At the
same time, we're gonna get into it. It's Kevin Mander's
Game of the Day, presented by Genesis Diamonds on one
oh seven five the River.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
It's called Name that Tune Plus. We added a pl
us plus represents a trivia question mark in Watertown. Good morning,
welcome to the show. How are you.
Speaker 9 (20:05):
I'm good, good man.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
Thanks for being here the first out. You're the guinea
pig for this new version of this game. Did you
did you hear the clue a second ago when we
played it?
Speaker 5 (20:13):
I did?
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Okay, good, We're gonna play it for you one more time.
I have to name the artist, and if you can
do that, answer a trivia question about that artist in
order to get the MGK tickets. Now that I say
it out loud, Ricky, it is very complicated.
Speaker 7 (20:24):
It's so long.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
Let's hope it'll be kind of easy. Yeah, here we go.
Here's your clue one more time. It's one second long,
the beginning of a song. Here we go.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
That's all you get. Name that artist.
Speaker 13 (20:40):
I'm gonna say brand partner.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
It is not. Sorry, Mark, it's ok.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Try to play again tomorrow.
Speaker 11 (20:47):
Okay, all right, thank you guys.
Speaker 6 (20:49):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Oh you had a kid with them too. We turned
now to Nicole, Anthony and Nashville. Nicole, I'm gonna play
the clue for you one more time. If you can
identify the artist, I'm gonna throw a trivia question in
your way. Are you ready?
Speaker 9 (21:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Okay, here we go. That's all you get. Who is that?
Speaker 3 (21:07):
No, No, it's not Shaboozie.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I'm so sorry. This is tougher than we thought that.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Thanks for playing, Nicole, Thank you bye.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Starting to sweat the game a little bit, Kevan, I
told you it was really different.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Call.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Now we go to Brittany and Leban and Brittany, I'm
gonna play the clue for you one more time. If
you know who it is, you get to answer a
trivia question. Are you ready?
Speaker 9 (21:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (21:29):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Okay, that's all you get. Who is that it is? Okay, okay,
we're halfway there. Now you have to answer a trivia
question about cold Play? Are you ready?
Speaker 13 (21:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (21:39):
All right?
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Brittany. Back in July, footage from a Coldplay concert when
very viral. Can you tell us what happened at that show?
Speaker 6 (21:46):
Oh?
Speaker 15 (21:46):
A couple will kiss each other and they were actually
both married to someone else. Good?
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Yeah, you're getting tickets to see MGK on the Loss
of Americ consour Bridge Stone Areno December sixteenth.
Speaker 13 (22:00):
Sweet, Thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (22:01):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
I let's go just after eight o'clock. Thank you so
much for starting your Monday with us. Ricky Sanchez has
those three things.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Sabrina Carpenter is going to make her Opry debut next month.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
This is so exciting.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
She's going to take the Opry stage for the first
time ever on October seventh, with country singers Kasey K. Booth,
Caitlin Butz, and Cameron Marlowe, all who will perform that
night as well.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
The Opry is celebrating their one.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Hundred years and they've been going all out with their performances,
but this one is just huge. Tickets are on sale
right now on their website. I checked earlier this morning
and there were still a few there. So if you
want to see her at the Opry, go get the
tickets asap because they're going.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
To sell out fast.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
iHeartRadio Music Festival happened over the weekend in Vegas. We
had artists like Mariah carry Out there at Cheeran, Maroon five,
Tate McCrae and Big X, the Plug, and so many
more that were there. Lots of great moments, but my
top two favorites Okay, I'm ready for him. Maroon five
had to sing along with the Crab for she will
be loved. I'm a sucker for moments where the crowd
joins in. There's just nothing like everybody's singing together. Here's
(23:03):
what it sounded like.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
A show shale.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Like R five is great.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
It's just something though about hearing everybody together with ruevit
you know what I mean, Like, oh, just awesome moment
and Ed Cheran everything at Cheron does I love. And
he put on a phenomenal show per usual, just him,
his instruments and his loop pedal, which if you have
not seen him use his loop pedal, you need to
at some point.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Here's a clip of him performing Azizam.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
And keep in mind that that's not a band behind
him in this, this is his loop pedal. He made
this all happen.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Here we go Female tonight, show me.
Speaker 7 (23:59):
The time, Mine mine.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
He's just so cool, he's so talented, insane.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
When you watch him use that loop pedal on stage,
you're just absolutely mind blown that this man can do
or that anybody can do this, not just him but
wild great show obviously, so many amazing moments.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
But those are my two faves.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
And I love this story so much because, you know, celebs,
they're just like us. Harry Styles ran the Berlin Marathon
under a different name, and he did really well too.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
He ran the marathon under the name.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Stead Sorrandos and finished with the time of two hours
and fifty nine minutes, which put him in the top
three percent of runners.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
So not just like us, we couldn't do that.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
That is crazy, not specifically us, but you know, just
the average people.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
And this seems to be like his new hobby.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
I'm guessing because in the spring he also ran the
Tokyo Marathon in three hours and twenty four minutes.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
Man, so he's just.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Out here running marathons.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
You never know when you're gonna bump into Harry Styles
or stead Sorandos as he goes by.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you need
to know.
Speaker 5 (25:02):
Ricky is Zach and Meno in the morning on one
oh seven five the River.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Half of everyone over here at one oh seven five
the River. We would like to say, happy fall.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Today's first official day.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
Right pay today. Forget the fact that it's one hundred
degrees outside.
Speaker 7 (25:16):
It's fall.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
It's fall, y'all.
Speaker 7 (25:18):
We made it.
Speaker 9 (25:19):
We did.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
We've been talking about decorations and spending, Ricky and I
just saw on TV people are literally spending thousands on
these like porch displays. People will come set up pumpkins
on your front porch, and it's like, hey, fifteen thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
It's crazy, It's absolutely insane.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Halloween spending is gonna get to thirteen point one billion
this year. So how much do you spend to decorate
your home for the holidays.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
That's our question for you right now. Six one five, seven,
three seven, nine, one oh seven. If you're a huge
Halloween head's no judgment here. We're not going to judge
a dollar amount. We just want to know what it is.
Six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
How much you spend on your Halloween decoration?
Speaker 5 (25:55):
Erriki is Zach and Meno in the morning on one
oh seven five the river.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Today is the first day fall. Happy fall, y'all. H
So we're talking about spending. Halloween spending is supposed to
hit an all time high this year one or thirteen
point one billion dollars, which is blowing our minds over here.
Lauren in Nashville, good morning, what do you spend on
your fall slash Halloween decorations?
Speaker 11 (26:16):
We probably spend like four hundred dollars on decorations, but
we throw a rager for adults and we spend like
twelve hundred dollars on that.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
I want to come to the that's a good use
of money in Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Does everybody get super dressed up for it too?
Speaker 6 (26:29):
Oh yeah?
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Okay, See that's where I spend a lot of my
money is on the Halloween costumes. Like I spend a
lot of time and an insane amount of money on
like the perfect Halloween costume, and if it doesn't end
up perfect, I'm so mad that I wasted like three
hundred dollars on it.
Speaker 11 (26:44):
Yeah, but then you got like me, I just have
a bin of like Halloween costume pieces which really come
in handy overtime.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Sure, that's one hundred percent true.
Speaker 7 (26:51):
I have a lot of that, Lauren.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Do you know what you're what you're wearing this year?
Can you spoil it for us here? Yeah?
Speaker 11 (26:57):
I can quote it for you. My husband's mad because
I'm up with my friend as Will Ferrell and Jimmy
Fallon when they do the tight pants sketch.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Phenomenal ten no notes.
Speaker 7 (27:08):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
You all right, Thank you for calling. We appreciate you.
Speaker 11 (27:11):
Having have a great day, guys.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Okay, of all of us, I'm probably the one that
spends the most on the decorations, Like we've amassed quite
a collection.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
Of skeletons outside.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
The big guys from Home Deep are the twelve foot guy,
and then we've got a couple like seven or eight
foot skeletons. Yeah, like we've we've spent some money over
the years.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
You know, a couple one hundred dollars that turn into
a couple of thousand dollars, it happens. The positive about
the outside decorations like that, though, is that you use
them every year.
Speaker 7 (27:38):
Use on this on that for sure.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
And I'm still like, I am tempted to just throw
a sand ahead on the skeletons after Halloween.
Speaker 7 (27:45):
Honestly, not against it.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
I like it. Go for it up till I remember
for Christmas is a thing exactly.
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Every day about this time, just a bit before nine o'clock,
we play some audio from a video that want of
us found. We put it on the air here at
one oh seven five the River. We call it the
Daily double Tap. And this one is about the struggle,
the struggle going to concerts as we get older.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Kevin, you found this one, and it's just so fitting
because you are such an old man sometimes.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Well, I just don't understand why we can't serve them
a little bit anyway, all right, we'll get into it.
Here we go Today's daily double tep.
Speaker 16 (28:19):
I just ordered concert tickets and doors open at seven thirty,
So the first band's probably not playing till eight thirty,
and there's four bands?
Speaker 4 (28:34):
What have I done?
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Who's asking for that? Who is asking for that schedule?
Who open the door is at five?
Speaker 2 (28:39):
We have consistently said on the show that we would
love like a matinee concert, yes, and how I deal
that would be for us? And I just know that,
like Kevin specifically, I'll deal with the late.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
Nights sometimes Zach will deal with the late nights for Consrere.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
It's got to be like somebody you really love. I'll
deal with the most out of the three of us.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
Kevin, when I tell him a.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Concert started at nine pm, he immediately is distraught. He
immediately goes, how much did you sleep last night?
Speaker 3 (29:05):
How are you feeling this morning? Are you okay?
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Like it's the worst thing that could happen to Kevin.
Speaker 10 (29:10):
Kevin's stream day is the AARP specialist Kroger and then
go into a concert at noon well, yes.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
I'm you're not far off deck. Like all of these
bands that I used to listen to in high school,
they're getting older with me. They don't want to go
on at nine and end at eleven or whatever it is, like,
just start the show three hours earlier.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
Listen, you're old. But I don't disagree with you on this.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
I would love a Matine concert, a nice like four
pm concert, six pm concert.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
I'm so good with that.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
I think we got to take it to Congress. I
think we have a petition to use
Speaker 12 (29:40):
The Heady's Congress Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning
on one the River
