Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Well, well, well, good morning friends, Tuesday morning feels like
a Monday. We're here, we're just getting things started. Ricky
Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
The powerball jackpot is going up again. There were no
winners in last night's powerball drawing worth one point one billion,
which means the winning prize is going up. Tomorrow's drawing
will be worth one point three billion if paid over
thirty years, or the cash payout for the jackpot winner
would be around six hundred million. Either way, you're doing

(00:30):
pretty great. So go ahead and buy yourself a powerball ticket.
If you do, and you win any money, you must
split it with me because you just got the idea
from me. And good luck to everybody.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Yeah, that's fair.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Costco's new policy change went into effect yesterday. Back in June,
they introduced this new policy change that brought a lot
of controversy. So it's a perk for customers who have
the more expensive executive membership. So since June thirtieth, anybody
with a Costco Executive membership had an extra like exclusive
hour long shopping window before other customers were allowed in

(01:04):
the stores. There's been a little bit of a grace period,
but now the policy is officially one hundred percent going
to be strictly enforced as of yesterday. So just check
with Costco of when that hour is, because if you
do not have the executive membership, nothing worse than going
out to Costco being ready to go hype to get
your things done and then realize you can't. So check
with your local Costco as to when that great that

(01:26):
little hour hour period is because you want to make
sure that you don't end up, you know, kind of
messed up and out of whack. And Music City Bacon
and Barrel Festival is happening this weekend. It's happening on
Friday at Factory at Franklin six to nine pm. This
is a place where you can sample a bunch of
different whiskeys, but also eat a lot of bacon themed dishes,

(01:48):
which sounds honestly phenomenal if you ask me. You can
expect live music and other activities. When you buy a ticket,
you will have unlimited samples of signature bacon themed dishes
and ten different ways ski samples. Tickets can be found
at Nashville dot Bacon and Barrel dot com if that's
something you're interested in for this weekend, Sanchez, and those
are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Good stuff, Thank you very much, Ricky appreciated.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Good to see you guys on this Tuesday morning. Thank
you for being here as well.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
We do have something very exciting for the first caller.
Within about ten minutes, Tate mccraye. Tickets went him next
down the.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
River, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Okay, everybody in Unison, it's gonna be well.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
But you never give us a countdown. That's why I'll
give you a countdown. Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
I want everyone to say good morning to Jonathan and Manchester. Okay, yep, three,
two one, Good morning in Manchester. That was great, guys.
Welcome to one oh seven five the River. Thank you
got the best like in Unison. Welcome that I think
the guys have ever done it.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
It was a countdown. Yeah, even if we can't be stopped. Jonathan.
How is your Labor Day weekend, buddy?

Speaker 7 (02:59):
I was great, just hung out with fram.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Great, nice.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Nice. I relaxed this weekend a lot too. I then
lost track of time though, like I forgot what day
it was because I was like, what am I doing?
Where am I don't even know what day it is.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I felt that yesterday as well, felt like a Sunday.
It wasn't a Sunday.

Speaker 7 (03:15):
Jonathan, I got a question for you, because I feel
like a lot of people cook over Labor Day weekend.
If you could only eat one condiment for the rest
of your life, what would it be good question?

Speaker 8 (03:24):
One condiment?

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Yep, I love Mayo.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
It's a big Jersey thing. Ricky's from New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Not a big Jersey joke.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Does salsa count, Zach? I mean, I guess so, Okay,
I go to salsa.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
I feel like salsa is its own meal.

Speaker 7 (03:40):
Well, you can put it on top of things, like
on a burrito. That's a convent.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
This is a whole other conversation. Jonathan, you are the
first caller of the day. You're getting tickets to see
Tate McCrae. I bridged an arena on September eleven.

Speaker 7 (03:52):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
I appreciated.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
This is big. These are sold out tickets.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
It's very hard to get these and you just got
a fair Congrats, buddy, Thank.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
You, Thank you for hanging out with us, and for
especially hanging out with us this early in the morning.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
It worked out.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Well for you, if you can hang on the line,
we'll get your invoka.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Okay, thank you, Mary sold out ticket at the same
time tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Here are the facts that we know so far.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
It's one O seven five The River.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Zach stole something over the weekend and he got caught.

Speaker 7 (04:19):
And it was one of the most embarrassing moments of
my entire life.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
I truly know nothing about this. Ricky doesn't know either.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Right after Alex Moore and he will tell us what
he stole and what's wrong with it.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
One O seven five Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Yes, we work with a thief. It's one O seven
five the River.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Good morning friends, thank you for starting your morning with Ricky,
Zach and Mano. Zach stole something and got caught. Sure,
did we wanna do you wanna tell us what happened? Man?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
I also want to preface that off air, Zach had
said I don't really know if it's actually steal. He's
trying to backtrack now because now he's getting more and
more nervous as we're starting to talk about it. So
what is it that you stole? Who did you seal
it from?

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (05:01):
So What had happened was is I was out with
our friend Kate on Sunday and we went to this
really cute bar.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
It's called Cherri's in East Nashville.

Speaker 7 (05:08):
So we went there, we were sitting outside and this
girl behind us got up and left. She left an
entirely full drink on the table, and so Kate was like,
can you believe she'd just left that whole drink, didn't
touch it, nothing, And I was.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Like, well, that's mine now, So I got up that
I took the drink.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
This is, by the way, this is a pattern. This
is zech does us all the time. He takes food
from people's plate, strangers and restaurants, airports, everywhere all the time.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Yeah, but like, she didn't touch it, she didn't drink
out of it.

Speaker 7 (05:35):
She left, and I was like, well, they're just gonna
pour it out, So now that's just wasting money if
she already paid for the drink. So I got the drink,
brought it over to my table and our friend Kate,
she was like, yeah, I'm positive they left, Like they
just walked up the front door and they're gone.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
I was like, okay, cool.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
She comes walking back in the front door with a
group of friends. So I guess she went out friends
to go meet her friends. And so now I'm just
sitting at the table with her drink in my hand,
and all of her friends come over to the table,
and I was like, oh God, what do I do now?
Do I return the drink? Do I buy her a
new one?

Speaker 3 (06:05):
You buy her psychopath? You don't return the one that
you took.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Well, maybe even two I did return it.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Maybe I would never have taken that from you. I
would have been like, this man is psychotic. You don't
take drinks from strangers. Did she take the drink she did?
I was like, I promise I didn't drink out of it.
I didn't touch I didn't do anything. And I was like,
I'm so sorry. I thought you guys left. Oh so
here's your drink back. I literally thought you were gone.
And she was so cool about it. She was like, Yo,

(06:32):
that's so real because I would have done the same thing.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
I mean, maybe she was cool about it. Was not
smart at all. No, no, no, if there's anybody out
there listening, please don't do what she did, or don't
do what ZAG did. Just learn a lot from the
story of of What not to do.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Don't take drinks from strangers.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Well, I'm like, is it really stealing then, because.

Speaker 7 (06:52):
Yes, if she had actually left, then it would have
just been poured out and the drink was already paid.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
She didn't leave, though, it's stealing. You stole her.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
Drink, returned it promptly.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah. Gross, that is psychotic behavior.

Speaker 7 (07:07):
But you just like leave food and drinks on a
table and you expect me not.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
To eat it or drink it.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Yes, be a normal, civilized human being. What are you talking?

Speaker 7 (07:16):
We were balling on a budget out here in twenty
twenty weekend.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Your first time out into like the real world.

Speaker 9 (07:22):
What is happening, Zach.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Sometimes I'll try to like find the silver lining and
defend you. But every element of this story, everybody involved
in the wrong thing, still all failed.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
A horrifying story, is all bad.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Three things you need to know a few.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Minutes past seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning, Here's do
a great week ahead, friends, Thank you for being here.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Ricky's yet three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
This is a bad story, but with an amazing ending
that I think is like very unique to Nashville. So,
the suspects that were involved in the alcohol theft at
Rose Pepper Cantina have been identified. Rose Epper said in
an online post that multiple people broke into their restaurant
around twelve forty five in the morning on Wednesday and
stole about twelve hundred dollars worth of alcohol, which is

(08:04):
a lot of alcohol. They shared the videos of surveillance.
They asked the community to help them with any information
on the burglars, and it worked. They're confident that they
now know two of the three people who were involved
in the crime from at least what they could see
from surveillance. The information was given to Metro National Police
and the restaurant put out a sweet thank you to
the community for helping them. I think this is just

(08:25):
a very uniquely Nashville type thing that a business can
come to the community and say, hey, we really need
your help, and everybody showed up and showed out this
weekend for them as well. They packed out the place
in support, and I just really think that's such a
great ending to something that is just terrible for sure,
because obviously no one ever wants to get anything stolen

(08:46):
from them, especially a local business. But I'm glad that
it all worked out in the end and that they
found the people. Fifth Harmony performed for the first time
in years at the Jonas Brothers concert in Dallas over
the weekend, a bunch of them, all four of them.
They're now a quartet because Camilla Cobeo is no longer
a part of this. It was the first time that
they all performed together since our hiatus in twenty eighteen.

(09:07):
We knew that they were going to be reuniting in
twenty twenty five, but we didn't know exactly when. But
it looks like this is their comeback. It's happening. Also,
on Fifth Harmony's website, they updated with new merch after
previously having a very cryptic message that said something would
be quote unquote coming soon. So here we are. We're
in our new Fifth Harmony era. I'm excited. I'm hoping
that there's new music on the way. When they do

(09:29):
announce anything, I will let you.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Know the Jonas Brothers do. It's a big stuff on
this too.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yes they are. Russell Diggerson was on with them recently too,
Like they are just really making it as big as
human as possible. And all five Twilight films will be
released in theaters this October, so next month you could
see the Twilight movies in celebration of the original book
turning twenty first movie Twilight is going to be in
theatre's October twenty ninth, and each day after we'll be

(09:55):
a different Twilight movie. Check your local listings to see
which theater closest to you is offering show. I looked
it up just before and thorover A twenty came up
and AMC Murphysborough sixteen is two spots that will be
showing Twilight on the twenty ninth, So check out your
local listings for that if you're a huge Twilight fan.
It's also nice like October and it's all like fall

(10:16):
weather and spooky season. Twilight just kind of fits in
right there. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three
things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
And by the way, just in case you guys are wondering,
I'm team afword all the way.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
Right after this song, we's got a fact.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
We're gonna keep me up at night. Thank you for
letting me know.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Zach's Fax next down the river, one O seven, the River.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning, It's time for
Zach's Fax.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
On one O seven five of the river.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
It's a kind of sad fact, but it is what
it is, so buckle up, Buttercup. But apparently during September
we lose the most amount of daylight of any month
all year long. So here in Tennessee we lose more
than an hour throughout the month of September. So every
single day we lose about ten minutes and ten seconds
of daylight.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
So by the end of the month, to add that
to about an hour of.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Daylight that we lose during say every day, it's ten minutes.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Two minutes and ten seconds.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
I'm pretty well two.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
That math makes more sense, Thank you, Zach.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
There's math of the day, not math.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Ricky, Zach and men in the morning.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Does your kid have a piece of clothing that they
want to wear every single day? keV Doug, you're currently
going through this with Riley, right, You're saying, my.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
Son, Riley, he's in first grade.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
He he loves this YouTuber named Preston Preston Plays, and
he's we got him a shirt and a sweatshirt with
Preston's logo. It's like a flame, and I have to
hide it so he doesn't wear it every single day,
like he never wants to take it off. But you
can't wear the same thing every single day, so I
gotta constantly tell him nobody, I think it's dirty.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
And I tucked away.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Something that just reminds me of Big Daddy, where he's like,
I don't want to have this smelly kidding class.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Six one five, seven, three, seven nineven. I know there
are all the parents out there that can relate to this.
Maybe even it was you when you were a kid.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Oh I had something, did you?

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Yeah, I had something that I wanted to wear every
single day.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
Okay, you saved that. We're gonna get Ricky's as well, but.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
We want to hear from you. Six one, five, seven,
three seven nine one seven. Does your kid want to
wear the same thing every single day?

Speaker 9 (12:16):
Let us know one.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Ricky Zach and Menno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
Piece of clothing does your kid want to wear every
single day? It's Ricky Zachamano in the morning on one
O seven five the River. Kevin's going through this with
his son Riley. He wants to wear the same shirt
every day, and he just can't wear the same shirt
every day.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
You can't do it.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Kreta and Gallatin, what is it for your kid.

Speaker 8 (12:38):
We have seven children. They're all grown now. But there
was a time that one of our boys wore the
same Nike sweatshirt every single day, and it kind of
had a really like crazy print on it, so it
was very recognizable. Sure, we finally threw it out in
the front yard and set playing to it as a fam.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
You actually lit it on fire.

Speaker 8 (13:03):
On fire in the front yard. It was a little traumatic,
but like we laugh at it so hard.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Now, Oh my god, was he okay after you lit
it on fire?

Speaker 8 (13:13):
There really wasn't a choice.

Speaker 6 (13:15):
Was there no choice?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
It's always hard to write because it seems like the
things that we cling to are the things that are
so recognizable, so like everybody's gonna know that you're wearing
it every day. Like it's never like a black T
shirt that nobody can tell the difference. It's always something
that really sticks out. That's one way of handling it, Greta,
that's for sure, we handle it all.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
I sure did. I like you called it a little traumatic.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
That is terrifying for a child, but it sounds like
it's all okay.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Now. Water under the brain.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
Does that build character? Kevin? And then later on in life,
like she said, they laugh about it.

Speaker 8 (13:48):
Now they're literally twenty. They're fine.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Greta, thank you for calling. We appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Jessica in Kentucky, Welcome to the river. Does your child
have an article of clothing that they refuse to off?

Speaker 6 (14:00):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Yeah, they have a gray under armour shirt and a
blue car heart shirt that is maybe one time too small,
but they refuse to give it up.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I feel like all those under armour shirts on little
kids are just so tight.

Speaker 9 (14:15):
I mean, they just they can't do it.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Oh, how old are they? They are ten and eleven. Okay, see,
I feel like it's kind of cute still when they're young.
Like with Riley, I think it's kind of cute.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
It's not.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
It gets concerning as they get old.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
Well, here's my thing.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Here's why I'm like particularly like sensitive to him not
wearing the same thing every day. I still have this memory.
I think I was in kindergarten, er first grade or
whatever it was. I had a Mighty Ducks jersey because
I love the movie Mighty.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Ducks Classic, and I wore it.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Way too often, and I remember somebody saying like, is
it the only shirt you have? And it stuck with me. Forever, like,
that's that's scarring for kids. So I want to spare
him that.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Kevin, that's your trauma, not your kids. I know.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
I don't want the same thing to happen to him.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Oh my god, Jessica, thank you for calling in Morning
Love Bite.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
What was it for you?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
I had? I loved. My dad is a construction worker
and he would wear tims every day. So I always
wanted to wear daddy boots, is what I call them.
So I had baby tims, like little tims for little kids,
and I wanted to wear them Timberlin's, oh their work boots.
And because I wanted to be like my dad, so

(15:26):
would always say, I want to wear my daddy boots.
So I would wear these frilly dresses and daddy boots
which were timbals.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
That's cute, but it's also very ricky.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
Yes it is.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
It's very very ricky. You got to a point tho
where everyone's like, okay, you need to wear other shoes, Ricky,
Zach and Morning Murphy'sboro, tell us what piece of clothing
your kids want to wear every day?

Speaker 9 (15:49):
Okay? So I have a two year old son and
he refuses to wear any other shoes besides his croc
and he will fight me in the morning if I
try to put something else on him. He's not going
for it. He's bawling his eyes out.

Speaker 8 (16:08):
He's like, my croc, Oh want my crocs.

Speaker 9 (16:12):
So sometimes he'll be in Deans with cocks on.

Speaker 7 (16:16):
Okay, Ricky and I both just got our very first
pair of crocs, and I understand the fascination out they're
so comfortable.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, we're kind of we're kind of on his side.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Lea.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
I'm sorry, yeah, tell.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
You, And that's just what as a parent, that's one
of those battles you just don't even bother.

Speaker 9 (16:34):
Just let him wear the crocs, right, anything to get
him out the door.

Speaker 8 (16:38):
Right.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Thank you for calling in love. We appreciate you.

Speaker 9 (16:41):
Yes, y'all have a blessed day too.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Crocs just like they did a one with the way
people saw their brand.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Oh yeah. Also, I'm just gonna go ahead and say this, too,
tiny crocs.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
They are the cutest things on the entire planet.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Yeah, so cute, Like they just look so like they're
not even like, do you know what I mean? Jerke
put them on, who cares? They're just so tiny too.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Not to go to Devon crocks here.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
But you know the movie Idiocracy, Yes, that was the
first time most people ever saw crocks because when they
were making that movie, the guy who created the movie thought,
what are the dumbest looking shoes that people could be
wearing all the time in.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
The future, And that's why he chose crocs.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
And now here we are in the future, and they
are just the only thing anybody wears.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
They're so comfortable.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Though.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
I don't care where anybody says about my crocks. I
love them. They really are.

Speaker 7 (17:30):
We're so good.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
But that makes me so scared to think about.

Speaker 9 (17:33):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
We do have Miles Smith tickets with the Game of
the Day.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
It's a fun one.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
This week we're playing next down.

Speaker 6 (17:38):
The River, Ritchie, Zach and Menno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
I'm about to get into Kevin Manno's Game of the
Day presented by Genesis Diamonds on one oh seven five
the River. Miles Smith at the Ryman September sixteenth. Those
are the tickets up for grabs. Gonna be a great show.
Any show with the Ryman is phenomenal, but Miles Smith
at the Ryman gonna be amazing. We're playing Halloween trivia
for these tickets Kaylin and Nashville, good morning. Are you
ready to play the game?

Speaker 4 (18:04):
First time? This week? We're doing this.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
We are all very much in the Halloween spirit already
now that it's September. So you got to get two
out of three of these questions right. If you can
do that, the tickets are yours, Kaylin. Your game starts
right now. Mary Shelley is an author that famously created
what Halloween Monster.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Drinking sign?

Speaker 5 (18:30):
I was going to add the asterisk, but you did
it for us.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Nice job, extra points, even though that's not how the
game works.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Okay, this is another you know, thing ripped from TV's
and movies and stuff, but it's kind of a tougher one.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Factory Binks and Salem are both what.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Cat?

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Can you be a little more specific?

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Black cats?

Speaker 4 (18:56):
Okay, all right, I guess I was looking for talking
talking cats. You know who they are? You're right?

Speaker 3 (19:02):
You win. Congratulations. You're gonna go see Miles Smith at
the Ryman on September sixteenth.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Awesome. Yeah, And just so we're all clear, Thakory Banks
is from hocus Pocus, and then Salem is from Sabrina
the Teenage Witch.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Correct, and they are in case you were wondering talking
black cats.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
I didn't know we had to be so specific about
the cat. Well here we are good. We're good.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
Congratulations, Thank you for listening. Have fun at the show.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Thank you, Kevin.

Speaker 7 (19:32):
Do you just like enjoy making things more difficult than
they need to be?

Speaker 4 (19:35):
I genuinely do. We're playing again tomorrow in all week,
same game, Halloween trivia for these tickets.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Three things you need to know you are right.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Thank you for starting your day with us.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Lee Corso's final College Game Day made history over the weekend.
After spending his life dedicated to football through coaching and
then as an analyst and kickstarting the College Game Day
broadcast in nineteen eighty seven, Lee has retired. His final
broadcast was over the weekend, where at peak viewership, five
point one million viewers tuned in to watch, making it

(20:09):
the most watched episode in the show's history. He also
went six for six with his predictions, which is honestly
like the most iconic thing ever. Every single one that
he predicted one and a lot of them were upsets too,
like ones that nobody thought was gonna happen. So congrats
to him. On an amazing career and also on finishing
with such a high note as well. MTSU Police are

(20:31):
offering self defense classes for women. The class is going
to teach the rad Systems, which is described as a
woman only course that teaches you how to defend against
various types of assault. Classes are open to any female
thirteen years or older, and attendees are not required to
be a student, faculty, or staff of the college, so
anybody can go. It's a free class fifteen hours total

(20:52):
and meets for three hours weekly. They're going to be
held on mtsu's campus each Monday in September. You can
find out all the information and you can register at
police dot MTSU dot edu slash rad r. They're doing that.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
I think that's absolutely phenomenal. It's something that I think
every woman should, you know, at least dabble in a bit,
you know, even if you don't go to a class,
you should look into these things. And the majority of
Americans think they can do their work in a four
day work week. According to a new survey, sixty nine
percent of workers think that they could be just as
productive within thirty two hours each week, and if people

(21:30):
were to choose which weekday they would want off. Friday
leads with fifty five percent, followed by Monday with twenty
four percent, which totally checks out. It makes sense. I
personally would be in the Monday category. I'd want Mondays off. Yeah,
I'm Ricky Sanchez. And those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
I might why Wednesday off just right in the middle there.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
You're just totally shaking things up there totally.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
That's what I do, Ricky.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
Okay, And this week is a nice This week is
a nice test.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Of that four day work week.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
See you, they can get all your work done this
week since we just had Monday off.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
So if you can do.

Speaker 6 (21:58):
It for Ricky zach Men in the morning on one
oh seven five The River unwritten on one O seven
five The River.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
I hope you guys enjoyed that as much as we
did in the studio.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
I am out of breath. Yeah, I've never seen you
two move that much. That was crazy.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
I'm gonna try and find the video and post it
at one O seven five of the River so you
can watch it for yourself. It was. It was a moment.
But for right now, we're gonna do something that we
call choose your own adventure. Every so often we do
this and we have a lot of news stories and
we want to know what you guys want to hear about.
So you get to choose between two different things. Do
you want to hear a bunch of reasons why Bride's
called off their weddings? Or do you want to hear

(22:35):
about the biggest mistake a fan can make at a
sporting event?

Speaker 5 (22:39):
Are Zach and I able to text in our votes?

Speaker 3 (22:42):
You're allowed to text in too, Yeah, so everybody grab
your phone. Text in six four, eight nine five is
the phone number put river at the beginning of the message.
Do you want to hear story number one about bride's
calling off their weddings or story number two about the
biggest mistake a fan can make at a sporting event.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Right after Sabrina confrent or whichever story gets more votes,
well into it.

Speaker 6 (23:00):
On the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning
on one River to choose.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Your own adventure type of morning on one oh seven
five the River. We gave you two options. We wanted
to know you know what you're feeling today. Did you
want to hear about a bunch of reasons why bridees
called off their weddings or did you want to hear
about the biggest mistake a fan can make out a
sporting in that.

Speaker 4 (23:19):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 7 (23:20):
I was voting for the brides because I'm trying to
figure out how to come make like make you call off.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Your wedding this man anyway, monster.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
I was pulling for the Sports one because I have
a feeling it has to do with that guy at
the US Open, and I'd love to talk about that.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
You are correct, Kevin, and the Sports One is the
one that's the winner. So if you have not seen this,
there's a CEO who is getting a lot of backlash
right now. He flat out stole a hat from a
tennis player that was going to a child. There is
a video that has now gone viral. If you haven't
seen it, I'm gonna post it up on one O

(23:54):
seven five the River's Instagram page in the stories so
you can see it. It'll just blow your mind. When
you go to sporting events, you know that obviously there
are gonna be a lot of people around you. You need
to be cognizant of that. When a ball comes flying
in the air, you obviously go reach forward. If somebody
passes out like a shirt, you go reach for it.
But in almost every scenario, if there is a child

(24:16):
next to you, you give that to the child.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
You grab it and give it to the kid.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
This man did not. He flat out ripped it out
of the guy's hand and out of the little kid's
hand and kept it for himself.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
He tucked it in his wife's purse, like this is
the io of what company? I don't know that I
need to know, because I'm gonna blacklist them.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
I don't know what the coat. Let's see if I
can find it, but I mean I'm looking to it's
a Polish companies that you've probably never heard of it.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
But I promise you the internet is already blacklisting them.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Enough. Oh yeah, and to the point where he now
has put out an apology for what he had done.
I also did see that the tennis player who was
handing out his hat to the kid did meet up
with the kid later on as well, to you know,
give him some more gear, take pictures things like that,
which is one hundred percent the proper way of handling this.

(25:06):
The other CEO wrong way all around. I just can't
believe that he would do that.

Speaker 7 (25:12):
So I know that we're talking about like things at
sporting events, but can we like talk about the main
story here?

Speaker 4 (25:17):
What is wrong with CEOs?

Speaker 7 (25:19):
First the Coldplay concert and now this, like what is happening?

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Well, CEOs are humans, just like everyone else, bad ones,
and sometimes they're bad ones, just like humans are sometimes
bad humans.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Maybe when you have that much power, it goes to
your head you think you can do whatever you want.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
Oh, I'm sure there's a little.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
Bit of that playing into this as well, and that's
even more frustrating in this situation. Is it not like
this man could buy a signed hat by this tennis player.
He's a CEO. I'm sure he's worth a lot.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
Of money by the entire stadium, So.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Like, well, we don't know how much money he's actually making,
but he could definitely buy a hat for sure. Yeah,
and you want to steal it from a child next
to you? You want to take away that joy from
a child? Insane?

Speaker 2 (26:01):
I will say, not defending this guy, Oh, go ahead, Kevin.
At first, after this all blew up, there was a
note going around the internet that this guy put out
and it was like not an apology at all seem
like you've.

Speaker 5 (26:12):
Got to be fast if you want to be me.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
That was fake, right, And he has since issued a
real apology.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Yes, yeah, I just want to make sure that that's known.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
I'm happy that you said that, because it's kind of
believable based off of his actions that he would have said, oh.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
You got to be quicker than that.

Speaker 7 (26:26):
But also what did he say in his apology, like
I'm sorry, I'm an awful person and I deprived this
child of joy.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
Kind of yeah, good.

Speaker 5 (26:38):
Time for the Daily double Tap.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
And it's just a cute little observation about every single
person walking around.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Oh okay, but every single person we shall see if.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
They're clothes, if they're not nude, Yes, every single person
walk here.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
We're gonna go ahead and hope that everybody is clothed.
Let's hear the daily double tap. You know what's cute.
Everybody that you see today picked out their clothes. They
saw that shirt or the sweater and they said I'll
do that, and the pants, oh these will go, or
they're like, do these go?

Speaker 4 (27:11):
And they still wore it.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
Not everybody, obviously, people have uniforms.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
But that is the sweetest thing in the world. I
picked up the sweater today thinking my sweater for today.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
I guess what I'm saying is, if you walk around
today and see people in clothes.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Which I assume that is normal for.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
You, just know that they chose that outfit and picked
specifically for today.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
And I hope that you tell them that you like
their shirt or something because they were like.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
This is the one.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
You know.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Was that lady high when she made that video? Maybe?
But it is a great.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Observation, adorable And Zach, I really like your shirt today,
Thank you so much. It's very fall Yes, just the
color is cute.

Speaker 7 (27:53):
Like that mindset to be in is actually just really
sweet to appreciate, Like, oh, you really chose.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
That today for you, that's how you felt. I love
that you felt that way.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
I really just look for whatever's clean in my closet
and throw it on.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
But you know, one Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning,
