Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning, let's go just getting things started on this
Tuesday morning.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Thank you for joining us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 4 (00:09):
Dolly Parton has postponed her outcoming Las Vegas concerts do
to health challenges. She announced the news to her social
media as she explained that she wanted to give her
fans the moment to hear from her instead of anybody else.
It looks like her doctors are suggesting that she undergoes
some procedures. She didn't elaborate on what those are, but
she did use some anxiety for fans and you know
(00:32):
people who are worried about if she's going to tour
or continue her music career by saying quote, and don't
worry about me quitting the business because God hasn't said
anything about stopping yet. So Dolly is okay. Obviously, we
are sending her a lot of really good thoughts right now.
We are thinking of her through these procedures and hopefully
everything turns out even better than before. Yelp recently launched
(00:55):
its Top one hundred coffee shops, and they ranked a
national shop on the list. It's the only national location
that made Yelp's list, they came in at number twenty.
The Horn has been named a top coffee shop. I
have been dying to go to this place and I've
not had the chance to check it out yet. But
they are known for their chiltes and their Dubai chocolate treats.
(01:17):
It's a family owned staple. They have four point nine
stars out of two hundred reviews on Yelp, which is
pretty impressive, especially because I feel like people who just
go on Yelp wanna complain, so good for them. Congratulations
to the Horn. I am gonna get there at some
point to try their Dubai chocolate treats. And you can
get free beer if you change your name. For the
(01:38):
next two weeks, bush Light is offering customers nineteen years
of free beer in exchange for a name change. So
anyone who's willing to legally change their name to Hunter
in order to celebrate their camouflage cans this hunting season,
they're gonna get five five hundred dollars per year for
bush Light, and bush Light will pay for their name
(01:59):
change legal fees as well. So if you look at
for some free bush Light and you don't care about
your name. This is for you, Wow, Sanchez, and those
are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
I immediately start to feel bad for people already named Hunter.
They're just excluded from this contest. I have a cousin
named Hunter.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
Well we have a listener who her name is Hunter. Yes.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Wow, they can't participate.
Speaker 5 (02:22):
They cannot participate.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
It's heartbreaking. Thank you for that. Ricky.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Coming up in a few minutes, we have these tickets
to see Lame is a tea pack. The show is
going to be here in January about ten minutes. You
can get those for the first caller right here.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
On the vine, Ricky, Zach and Menno.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
In the morning, everybody say good morning to Melissa and Colombia.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Good morning, Columbia, good morning.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
I always love doing that. I feel like a teacher
whenever I do that. Melissa, what are you doing this morning?
Speaker 6 (02:50):
Okay? To work?
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Okay? What do you do for work?
Speaker 7 (02:53):
I'm nurse, nurse.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
We have so many nurses that listen to us this
early in the morning, and we love that.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Can I see a question about this, Melissa.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Your neighbors, the people that you know, you interact with
on a daily basis, do they ask you a lot
of medical questions.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Does it get annoyed?
Speaker 1 (03:09):
No?
Speaker 4 (03:09):
No, no, not bad.
Speaker 8 (03:10):
I don't like to help.
Speaker 7 (03:11):
People out when I can.
Speaker 9 (03:11):
I feel like all of my friends that are in
the medical field, I will like send them a.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Picture of like a bump on my knee. I'm like,
what is this?
Speaker 8 (03:18):
What's happening?
Speaker 5 (03:19):
So I feel that makes sense.
Speaker 8 (03:20):
Yeah, it's better than doctor Google.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
I guess.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
No, Zach is doctor Google, so don't let fool you.
He first goes to Google. He googles what a bump
on his knee could mean, and once he digs into
it as deep as he possibly can, and it says
that he has.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Some rare like disease.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Then he reaches out to somebody and goes, can you
prescribe me something for this rare disease that I have for?
Speaker 9 (03:41):
Yeah, I've diagnosed myself.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
He's nuts, that's Melissa.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Would you say the self diagnosis has gotten worse with
like AI and chat Gypt and stuff?
Speaker 6 (03:50):
Probably so, probably so.
Speaker 7 (03:51):
But still that's better information than none, I guess.
Speaker 10 (03:54):
But okay, it's a.
Speaker 9 (03:55):
Good way to look at you ever use like chat,
GBT or AI or Google whatever you're like trying to
diagnose someone.
Speaker 6 (04:03):
I'm probably I'm probably more guilty.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Of your probably, oh, which makes sense.
Speaker 9 (04:08):
Like there's so many new diseases and so many new
things all the time, Like, yeah, sometimes you need a
little help.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Are there so many new diseases all the time? This
is very scary information. I didn't welcome to twenty twenty five.
Speaker 9 (04:18):
Bro.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
Well, I think there are new diseases to Zach.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Okay, yeah, that's probably that.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Zach didn't know existed.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Well, Melissa, all this to say that we appreciate you
so much for being a nurse. It is not an
easy gig by any means, So thank you so much
for what you do and for helping people every single day,
and thank you for hanging out with us every morning
because this is like so nice. Yeah, we appreciate that
more than you know. You are also the first color
of the day on one of the aby the river
this morning.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
So you tickets to see the Layman is at tea pack.
Speaker 9 (04:50):
Wait, that's way.
Speaker 8 (04:52):
Who are you gonna take with you?
Speaker 1 (04:54):
I'm probably sweet.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Zach's gonna say something about that.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
He already made a noise.
Speaker 9 (05:00):
I always just say bring a friend, you'll have way
more fun.
Speaker 7 (05:03):
You don't know our hub that's just change, Okay.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
If he's on his best behavior, he gets to go right.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Well, it's I think it sounds like a very nice
date night that you're gonna have with your husband at
tea pag and we hope you enjoy it all.
Speaker 9 (05:15):
Right, Thank you so much.
Speaker 8 (05:16):
One seven five the River, Nicky, Zach, And in the morning,
who is the one oh seven five the River secret, Sabrina,
that's the question.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
So are trying to figure that out? Right here? Right now?
Speaker 4 (05:29):
We have another clue for you, Zach. Are you ready
to read the clue as to who are one of
seven five the River's Secrets of Brena could possibly be?
Speaker 9 (05:37):
All of our clues yesterday were absolute and utter trash.
We still have no idea who this person could be.
So your clue today is our secret. Sabrina loves the
Nashville scene, so good luck catching them during your morning routine.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
That's it, Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 9 (05:54):
It sounds like they go out a lot, Like if
they love the Nashville scene, you won't catch them in
the morning.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Okay, So they go out at night a lot.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
That's what it sounds like. Maybe this is going That's
not how I heard it at first.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
But how did you hear it?
Speaker 4 (06:09):
At first, Kevin? Because there's so many options here of
how we could take this. How did you hear it?
Speaker 2 (06:12):
I just thought the national scene meant they liked doing
stuff at Nashville.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
I didn't necessarily think night life. But it makes more sense.
Speaker 9 (06:18):
And it says, so good luck catching them during your
morning route.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
So good luck is more like sarcas like good luck
like that taking it or is that how.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
They want us to take it?
Speaker 9 (06:28):
To me, it sounds like they're a night out and
they do things out on the town at night.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Okay, I think hearing it through that those ears makes
more sense.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
I trust no one, and I'm kind of thinking that
this could be a trick clue right now. If they
say good luck catching them during their morning routine, maybe
it is like a good luck catch them during their
morning routine.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Maybe they're out in the morning.
Speaker 9 (06:50):
I do have to tell you, though, We got a
d M yesterday from this girl Sydney, and she said
I just went to city Hall and asked if they
were the one of seventy five the River's Secret Sabrina
and they said no.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
So we know that don't work at city hall. Did
she ask every single.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Person she went through.
Speaker 9 (07:04):
She asked the security guards and everybody there in city
Hall if they were the.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
Sea everybody that was there that day. Correct.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
That is how you play the game.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
You piece these clues together and then you just have
to go up to people whoever you think it might
be or just too ever and say, are you the
one O seven five the River's Secret Sabrina.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
If you do find the secret Sabrina before.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Anybody else, you're gonna go see Sabrina Carpenter in Nashville
and also get this trip to see her in New York.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
That's the game we're playing.
Speaker 9 (07:27):
So I feel like we eliminated all of our grandmas
because it says like they go out during the nights.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
You don't know that great in the party two.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
I also I just don't trust it. I kind of
feel like it's a trick.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
We need.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
I need more clues.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
We need more clues because right now I feel like
I trust nothing, and I feel like they're trying to
really mess with us.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
And even if this does mean it's a night owl,
that narrows it down to no one, no one. We
have another clue coming this morning at nine fifty. We're
doing this four times a day, so nine to fifty
this morning, a new.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Clue there thing you need to know.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Right just after seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning, Ricky
Sanchez has three things you need to know.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
BNA is preparing for the potential government shut down to happen.
If the government does close down on October first, there
will be impacts on travel, and obviously not great timing
considering that fall break is right around the corner for everybody.
Most federal workers at airports are considered essential and would
continue to report to work without pay, meaning day to
(08:28):
day airport operations.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
Probably won't be immediately impacted.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
It should be okay right off the bat, but if
this turns into long term situation, then we're going to
start to see a lot of negative effects in the
coming weeks, not just at airports but in other areas.
So just keep that in mind when you were traveling
for fall break, keep up to date with anything that
is BNA, because there are going to be changes that
happen if this ends up taking a long time, because
(08:54):
obviously nobody wants to go to work without getting paid.
Let's be honest, Fingers crossed doesn't actually happen on October first, though,
we are getting a sequel to the social network. The
sequel is going to be called The Social Reckoning, and
the cast is already set. Jeremy Strong is going to
play Mark Zuckerberg, Mikey Madison is going to be the
whistleblower of Francis Augen, and Jeremy Allen White is going
(09:17):
to be in it as well as a.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horowitz.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
The movie is going to tell the story of the
Facebook Files, which is a series of twenty twenty one
reports that details the inner workings of Facebook, including a
failure to address and misinformation and other harmful effects of
the social media platform despite being aware of them. So
it sounds like it's going to be a very interesting
take on this. The movie is set to hit theater's
October ninth of next year. You know me, You know
(09:44):
I love Jeremy Allen White, so I am all in
on this all in.
Speaker 5 (09:48):
I'm very excited.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
And Mikey Madison is also phenomenal, So this is gonna
be a great one. That was yes exactly, And Kitchen
Aid is giving away a Taylor Swift inspired mixer. They
are celebrating the release week for Taylor Swift, so they
have unveiled a limited edition Tangerine Twinkle Stand mixer inspired
by Taylor Swift. This era is orange and teal are
(10:12):
the colors, so this one is orange.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
It's very sparkly, it's really really pretty.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
It's only available through a sweep Steaks though that is
running through October third. There's going to be twelve of
these special mixers that are up for grabs, but like
I said, it's only through sweep Steaks, so head on
over to their website to enter to win.
Speaker 5 (10:30):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Thank you very much, Ricky Sanchez.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Here's Benson Boone right after the song It's learning time.
Zach's Fax would do it every day about seven tennish.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
It's coming next down the.
Speaker 8 (10:44):
River Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
Very excited for Zach's Fax on one of seven five
of the river because he asked me what do I
want to fact about?
Speaker 5 (10:55):
And I said potatoes.
Speaker 9 (10:57):
So your fact today is about potatoes. Are you writing
for it?
Speaker 3 (11:00):
I'm so ready, okay.
Speaker 9 (11:01):
Potatoes, originally from Peru, were actually the very first vegetable
to be grown in space in nineteen ninety five.
Speaker 5 (11:08):
Potatoes are so cool, bro.
Speaker 9 (11:10):
I love potatoes, and apparently they contain more potassium than
bananas and more vitamin C than orangese.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
You're lying, Nope, I didn't know any of that. Well,
eat more potatoes.
Speaker 5 (11:21):
Oh you guys, tell me twice so you can.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
See that movie with Matt Damien or He's on Mars
and He's grown potatoes.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
That's a great movie. I sure didn't. But there's your
factor of the day.
Speaker 9 (11:29):
They were the first ones grown in space.
Speaker 5 (11:31):
That apparently Matt Damon went.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Yeah, that's a good movie, guys, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Zech Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning on.
Speaker 8 (11:40):
River.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
You're currently stealing a subscription from someone else. It's Ricky
Zachamano in the Morning on one O seven five of
the River. Things are just too expensive nowadays, and I
feel like the only way to have, you know, any
kind of service that you need is to steal the
service from someone else, Like I take Zach's Apple account.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
She sure does, Zach. Stealing is a harsh word, guys.
I don't. Let's let's not say stealing stealing.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
I'm not paying for it. I'm taken from Zach.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
But at least I know that you're doing it.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
True, It's it's like a non.
Speaker 9 (12:15):
Stealing Yeah, you're a known thief.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
I had to ask my dad over the weekend for
his direct TV login so I could watch the Bears game.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
There's just too many things.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
I'm not gonna buy them all, So you gotta borrow
from people every once in a while.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Uh, and that's our question. What are you borrowing?
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Some would say stealing six one five, seven, three seven, nine,
one oh seven subscription whatever that might be.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
On are you stealing any subscription services from someone else?
Speaker 5 (12:45):
It's one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
Everybody here on the show is stealing from somebody else
because things are just so expensive nowadays that you kind
of have to take other people's subscriptions from them. Megan
and Mount Juliet, you said that you have something to
say about this.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
Is it that you steal from someone or does someone
steal from you?
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (13:03):
No, I'm stealing from someone, who is it? So my
brother works for a moving company and someone is getting
rid of their smart TV. So I go to set
it up and lo and behold I have three paramount
all hal free, Amazon, Prime, Netflix, And what's that out
of one YouTube? TV? I think because they forgot to
(13:24):
log out of it stuff.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
So it's a random stranger's accounts.
Speaker 10 (13:29):
Yeah, I don't know. They just forgot the log out
of their subscriptions when they got rid of the TV.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
This is Yes, this is a Meghan. This is massive
for you, but the lesson for everyone else.
Speaker 9 (13:41):
I have so much respect for you, Meghan, Like this
makes me.
Speaker 10 (13:44):
So I gotta save money somehow.
Speaker 5 (13:46):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
This is like the modern day equivalent of finding like
a bag of money somewhere, like finding a briefcase full
of cash.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
Like this is it.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
This is the treasure chest that everyone's looking for.
Speaker 10 (13:57):
Exactly. So I'm winning out right now. When it comes
to streaming.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
Hey, good for you, Megan.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Whoever's listening, if it's your if it's your TV.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
Just let it go.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
Let Megan have it.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
Like you didn't notice. However, Well, how long has it
been that you've had this TV in these accounts?
Speaker 10 (14:16):
Probably about eight months?
Speaker 3 (14:17):
You deserve them going.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
If it's been that long, you deserve them. They are
now your accounts, Meghan.
Speaker 10 (14:23):
Exactly.
Speaker 5 (14:25):
Oh thank you for calling in. We appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Yeah, thank I feel like it's kind of like squatting rights. Yeah,
she's had it for eight months.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
It's hers now, exactly Like whoever it is, you don't
even matter anymore.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
No, you can't call the cops. There's a statute of
limitations on this.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
I knew he'd get calls like, yeah, my brother uses
my Netflix password.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
But this was the holy grail.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
So if anybody can compete six one five seven, three
seven nine seven one o seven five of the.
Speaker 8 (14:52):
River Ricky Zachos Game.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds on one oh
seven five the River. This is how you can win
your into our theater for the official release party of
A Show Girl. We are so excited about this. If
you want to play, guess it off. Yeah yeah, I
hope you're ready, because yesterday was was a ride.
Speaker 8 (15:13):
Yeah yeah, it was fun.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
I liked it. I liked this game. It wasn't a.
Speaker 5 (15:15):
Negative ride, but it was a ride.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Again.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
We have our own theater for the album release movie
thanks to our friends with Republic Records. So if you
want in six one five, seven, three seven nine one
oh seven, that's the phone number we need two swifties
on the line to go head to head. I'm gonna
recite lyrics to you the first one to buzz in
and tell us what Taylor song I am reciting.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
You get the tickets, two out of three of them,
and you are in the door. We're playing next.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
It's game time, baby, Guess it Off.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
It's the River one O seven.
Speaker 8 (15:43):
Five of the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning, the.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
Mano's Game of the Day.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
On one O seven five the River. We are playing
guess it Off for people to win their way into
our theater for the official release, uh release party of
a Show Girl. We've got two KLA's on the line
right now. Kila Murphy's Borough, Ela and Nashville.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
This is kind of crazy because the whole premise of
this game is you have to buzz in by.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Yelling out your name, and oddly, very oddly, you're both
named Kayla.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
So I'm gonna give you some lyrics here, some Taylor
Swift lyrics, and we want you guys to shout out
your cities. So Kayla in Murphy's Borough, You're gonna yell
Murphy's Borough to buzz in.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Kayla and Nashville. You're gonna yell Nashville, you got it?
Got it?
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Okay, no, you just as soon as you can identify
the song you buzz in.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
With your city, and you need two.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Out of three of them to get these tickets to
get seats into.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
Our theater this weekend.
Speaker 8 (16:35):
Here we go.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
The game starts right now. Fever dream high in the
quiet of the night.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
You know that I caught it.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Murphy's Borough Burrow one, Murphy all right, here we go
song too. Come on, Nashville, look alive, ladies and gentlemen,
will you please stand with every guitar string scar Murphy's

Speaker 3 (17:12):
It's done.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Nice job, Kayla, Kayla Nashville, thank you for being here,
Thank you for playing.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Goodbye, Kayla Nashville. So sorry, but congratulations Kila and Murphy's Borrow.
You were gonna you're gonna come hang out. You are
getting into our theater for the official release party of
A Showgirl.
Speaker 5 (17:36):
Congratulations. Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
I'm now crush that game. Nice job, hang on, we'll
see this weekend.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
Okay, Okay, we're.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Gonna play again tomorrow. And I would really appreciate people
with different names.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Yeah, that would be great.
Speaker 5 (17:51):
Hey, it still worked out.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Three things.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Thank you so much for starting your Tuesday with us.
We really do appreciate it. Ricky Sanchez is right here
with those three things.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have split up after nineteen
years together. According to sources, things have been rocky for
a little while now. Keith moved out of their home
here in Nashville at the beginning of the summer. I
hate doing stories like this, so hopefully the two of
them are okay and their family is okay. Maybe they
can reconcile. Both of them want to. I just hate
(18:22):
to see it happen, But as long as they're happy,
that's really all that matters.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
Toys r Us is back in Nashville.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
They just opened a pop up shop at Tanger Outlets
for the holiday season. So this is the first toy
and game shop at the Tanger Outlets, and obviously we
love that it's a throwback to Toys r US.
Speaker 5 (18:39):
I was obsessed with Toys r US when I was younger.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
You can find it in the Tanger Outlets near the
Ralph Lauren. This is a pop up, so it doesn't
look like it's gonna be there forever, but a great
spot for you to stop for holiday shopping.
Speaker 5 (18:52):
If you need some toys.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
And McDonald's is bringing back the Monopoly game after a decade,
talk about another throwback. Starting October six, for a limited time,
customers will get to play the new digital game pieces
in addition to the classic ones. There are a bunch
of prizes, vacations, motor home, low shopping spree, all sorts
of stuff. Each game piece also earns participants a bonus
(19:16):
play for a second chance to win in the app,
with the opportunity to win anything from free food to
a million dollars cash prize. This was such a big
thing at one point, this Monopoly game with McDonald's. I
remember people would scramble for all of the pieces for
this game. So kind of crazy that it's back. I'm
Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you need
(19:36):
to know.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
On for driving.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
We all know that, but there are some other ways
that Americans are using cars. Apparently it's one O seven
five of the river. More so about how they spend
their time with their cars. Okay, so there's a new
survey that came out with two thousand different car owners
and they break it down by generation.
Speaker 5 (20:00):
Which is really interesting.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
Okay, so it turns out the millennials are most likely
to plan their futures while they're driving. So millennials go
into existential crisis while driving.
Speaker 7 (20:09):
Well.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
Gen X drivers are most likely to listen to music
while they're driving.
Speaker 5 (20:14):
Okay, they want to be like upbeat.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
They're looking to kind of you know, excite the day
with some music. Gen Z drivers use their cars as
safe havens to calm down. They say that they go
there for silence and to take naps.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
You know, I would I open that to the parents
out there, parents with young kids, because I have done
that many times.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
Apparently not You're you're a one of a kind situation, Kevin.
Speaker 9 (20:38):
I mean I've definitely done that, not necessarily for a nap,
but like when I'm super stressed out, I'll just go
get in my car and be like, let me just drive.
I just need to drive around. It'll call me aimlessly, Yeah,
like let me just get away from people, be in
silence and just drive aimlessly.
Speaker 10 (20:52):
All right.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
I guess it really just depends on the person. But
the silence is definitely one reason why people go into
the cars. Yeah, I sometimes just sit in my car,
Like if I get home from a long day and
I'm in the parking garage, I'll sit in my car
and just listen to music for a little bit longer
without having to drive. Because when I'm driving, I'm gonna
be so honest, Nashville, you don't know how to drive.
(21:15):
So when I'm driving, I'm so tense the entire time
because I'm paying attention to everybody around me. Then I
finally get to like park and calm down and think
about the day, and then not think about the day
and just listen to music or relax.
Speaker 9 (21:27):
When she says listen to music, everybody in her apartment
complex can.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
Hear it because she is bomping.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Yeah, yeah, correct.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
I listen to music very loudly. It's the only way
you should listen to music is loudly.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
Do you guys ever, I mean this is all jokes. Inside.
Have you ever just taken a quick little nap in
your car? I have you have? Zach Kasricky is not.
Speaker 5 (21:45):
No, I have not. My car is like comfortable enough
for that.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
I've got a little bit of time, and I'm exhausted,
and I'm driving to home depot. Let's say, and it's
fifteen minutes there, and I'm like, oh man, I'm a
little sleepy.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
I'll pull in a parking lot and just close my
eyes for five minutes.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
When Kevin picked me up from the airport a few
weeks ago, he literally took a nap in a random
parking lot in his car prior to picking me up
from the airport, Which makes sense.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
You've got time to kill. What else are you gonna do?
It's very comfortable.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
It doesn't sound like it's safe by any means, but
whatever work One O.
Speaker 8 (22:16):
Seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and manow in
the morning, me eleven in.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Welcome to one O seven to five the River. What
is the unusual way that you use your car?
Speaker 7 (22:26):
I use my car as a storage unit on wheel
to me.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
Too, Whitney, What ell do you have in.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
Your car right now?
Speaker 7 (22:36):
I have Amazon boxes, I have totes with papers, shoulders,
pimple snacks on snacks. I mean, you name it, it's
probably in here.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
Yeah. What car do you drive?
Speaker 9 (22:50):
It sounds like a mini van if you have that
much stuff.
Speaker 7 (22:53):
Listen, a minivan doors might be a little bit easier
to navigate through I'm in an expedition.
Speaker 5 (22:58):
Oh so you have a big vehicles. At least Whitney
has the space.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
I don't have the space in my car because I
drive a Volkswagen Beetle.
Speaker 5 (23:08):
It's very small.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
But I also have Amazon boxes that need to be returned.
I also have snacks. I have empty water bottles. I
have coats just in case I get cold. I have
towels just in case I go swimming.
Speaker 5 (23:20):
Would you chair?
Speaker 9 (23:22):
Never?
Speaker 7 (23:23):
Never?
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Okay, all right, thank you for being appreciate it.
Speaker 7 (23:28):
Oh yeah, it's like maybe once a month and I'm like, hey,
there's there's new seasonal things that I need to stuff
in here, so let me get some stuff out.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
I just leave all the seasonal things in there and
add more. It's not a great idea.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
Whitney, but that's just what I do. Whitty. Thank you
for calling in. We hope you have a great day.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
Love of course, thank you bye, Ashley and Nashville.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
What's the unusual way you use your car?
Speaker 6 (23:51):
Well, I don't just take naps in my van. I
perfectly got my transit van, you know, like kind of
the ones that look like plummers use. Yeah, so I
could sleep in it.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Maybe I should I be in Yeah.
Speaker 6 (24:08):
I do shows out of town sometimes, and I mean
the airbnb prices and hotel prices are a little bit.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
Too a point.
Speaker 6 (24:14):
So pop up, open the back of my van and
playable mattress in there and leap like so you have like.
Speaker 9 (24:22):
A blow up mattress that you put in the back
of the van.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Uh huh.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
I want to go on a road trip with you.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
That is really smart.
Speaker 6 (24:29):
Actually, I'm going to Atlanta this weekend.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
I know what I'm doing this weekend. Me and Ashley
are road trip in.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
Honey, Ashley, thank you for calling in. We appreciate you
and we hope you have an amazing day.
Speaker 6 (24:41):
Thanks you too, have a good one.
Speaker 9 (24:44):
Ricky, do you feel validated now then, knowing that you're
not the only one that uses it as a storage unit?
Speaker 5 (24:50):
Yes, I feel so much better right now.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
And if you think I'm not about to tell my
fiance about this when I.
Speaker 5 (24:54):
Get home, your poor poor aj.
Speaker 8 (24:58):
One O seven five of the River Ricky, Zach and
Manow In the.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Morning, I was seven five the River.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
It's time for the daily double tap, and this one,
I genuinely think is going to make people feel better
about themselves.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
It's a national sc player, Eddie Texith. He got a
geography lesson that I don't think he was expecting.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Here we go, Today's daily double.
Speaker 8 (25:17):
What's the capital of Tennessee?
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Oh, Knoxville.
Speaker 9 (25:22):
Cut it out if I want to get to try it.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
It's not Nashville, obviously, is it?
Speaker 1 (25:34):
Oh? What is it?
Speaker 8 (25:35):
Crazy? What is it?
Speaker 2 (25:36):
I had to google it my car to be sure
before I Okay, what is it?
Speaker 8 (25:40):
It's Nashville.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Yeah, I will say. Eddie's from Norway. Okay, that's where
he was born.
Speaker 5 (25:46):
Is Norway? The other guy, I don't know where he
was born, but I will.
Speaker 9 (25:50):
Say I will give him benefit of the doubt. Knoxville
was the very first capital of Tennessee. There you go,
like back in the eighteen hundreds. We've gone. It was
a long time, but.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
It was.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Like whenever you know, Jimmy Kimmel will go out on
the street and ask people questions and nobody knows anything
like geography related, nobody knows anything. That always makes me
feel better about my lack of knowledge in certain areas.
So it's nice to see it's not just you or me,
it's everybody.
Speaker 5 (26:17):
It's everybody.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Ricky Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 8 (26:20):
On one the river
