Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hmm.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
We both ain't staying in on business with no fear.
I mean, man, it's the Ring Champs, win the smoke plays, fans.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
And Brock.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
They're the best in the game, you know, somebody that
you know, you feel we're talking to them and the
best made it.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
We made it cham Yeah, yes, sir, you see, of course.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Just keeping you cool in the pressure. Then after a
while you was like, come on, my man.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Yeah he didn't get you know, he got to me
a little bit, a little bit.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
Yeah, that's right, We're back another one. It's the Ring Champs.
I go to the the boxing bully and joining us today.
Very special young man. We've watched him evolved throughout his
career in so many different ways. We supported each other
throughout our respective career and he was a start early
on outside of the ring, but eventually proved that he

(00:52):
was even a bigger start inside that ring. And if
you don't know who I'm talking about about now, it's
Brian Garcia.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Well something you guys, thank you for having me.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
What he said is deep because the first time we
interviewed you was ten million Instagram followers.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
A go, that's crazy. That's how you evolved.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Yeah, yeah, lots happened. Uh, you know, I think in
the beginning, I was trying to prove myself so much
kind of fighter I am and kind of getting away
from that Instagram stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
But I think, you know, it's part of the game.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
I always felt that way, and I feel like now
all the fighters are catching on to that, and everybody's
kind of like, Okay, that's what you're supposed to do.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
Like any fighter I was complaining about, you wanted.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
They wanted that.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
You know, they wanted that, and uh kind of came
with the territory. But things evolved, and uh, you know,
I through one of the biggest fights in history with
Tank Davis then went on to beat Devin Haney regardless
what they say, Uh, we're gonna get it.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, we'll get into it.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
But I'm saying, like, how it evolved, I want to
buy my storyline, stopping my storyline right. But but yeah, man,
it's been a journey, thank God, through the highs and
the lows and and now I'm here ready to fight
in another historic moment, which is crazy to me. And uh,

(02:11):
you know, fighting in the middle of Times Square, it's
like a dream. It's a dream saying things just keep
getting bigger for me, and I think I think I
belong in these moments.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Oh, there's no question about that.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
I mean you proved that, and you were, to Baroc's point,
back then, you were like a happy young man, like
you would smile all the time, and unbeknownst to us,
like you were going through things during those times, whether
it's anxiety depression, but you would smile for the camera.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
At what point did.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
You say, I need to embrace who I am, what
I'm going through and you don't smile as much now, I.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Think I'm just I don't know, man, It's like, after
what happened last year, it kind of just killed that
joy of this ship for me because you know, not
only did you know they take my my f oh,
I felt like the victory I always wanted was wo
you know, against an elite fight or somebody that you know,

(03:11):
I thought would give me my respect in boxing. Yeah
I had the antics. Yeah I was drinking. Yeah I
was doing all that. But one thing I don't do
is take steroids, you know, and uh, I know in
my heart they set me up in that way, right,
regardless of you know, what their claims are, They're never
gonna admit that. Nobody's you know, nobody's gonna admit that.
You know, they had that in their back pocket. But

(03:32):
it was just so convenient that, you know, I'm tested
clean all the way through, and then after the fight,
everything was good, and you know, his little brother's posting, Oh,
he's gonna post P He's gonna test P positive for steroids.
How the fuck do you know that i'm'a test before
for anybody's news come out, and then all of a
sudden he's on. Then then it gets announced and next day,

(03:53):
Devin Haney's on on Sports Center, you know, talking about her.
So it's like they it. It feels like I was
set up and it just it did a number on me.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
You know, I got.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I became very angry, I guess in a sense, I'm
still angry in a way. I think this quietness is
kind of like a passive aggressive thing, like I'm just
waiting for something to pop off, like.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
But I feel like I got.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
I'm channeling it towards the training, towards you know, rollies.
I'm fighting rollies. You know, I've already said all the
ship I want to say, hey, do you regret any
and nothing changed, right, I still was suspended for a year.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
All the ship I brought up to light, they didn't care.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Did you regret?

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Do you regret anything you said during that leader in
that past conference, don't know, Like I'm talking about back
in twenty twenty twenty four April, that fight week, you
said a lot before the fight and after.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
That, because every time he crossed the line, I crossed
the line, you know, he said, he says, it's the
death of Ryan Garcia said, I'm gonna fucking kill you.
So it wasn't like nothing that I felt like I
crossed the line, you know.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
It was mental warfare from the beginning.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
I'm talking about when you talked about I drink, d
and smoke during that.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Week, when I, oh, yeah, I do. But again, those
are things that I was already dealing with. I was
already dealing with drinking problems and shit like that, and.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I was going through divorce.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
I was going through a bunch of things that were
going on in my life that it was hard for
me to cope with.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
And I fucked up in that regard.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
Anybody close to you turn it back on you. When
the drug allegations came out to anybody that I'm surprised
by anybody.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Not really, I was surprised by actually nobody. Nobody in
my squad knew, definitely knew. I didn't take sir. You know,
they're with me every day. There's no way in hell
they would turn their back on me. And I felt
like maybe like some of the like trolls on Twitter,
you know, they wanted to you know, hold on to that.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
But as far as people with me, nah.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
But.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
You know, my mistake, I crashed out. Even after that,
that even worse. You know, I had my problems before
with the fight, and then that shit just carried on,
you know, past the fight to the point where you know,
like I said, I ended up you know, getting arrested
at Waldorf and just doing a lot of shit.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, it wasn't good.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Let me tell you how I looked to us. It
looked like you was going over the edge.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
You know.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
It looked like and me somebody who actually knows you
and and feel like I'm a friend of yours.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
I was like, I don't know if I could say
something to him, because.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
It looks do you he asked a great question, and
you said, nobody turned on you, But do you think
he was around the right crowd.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
You know, at the time, I was just with people that.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
They didn't probably know me the best, so they didn't
know something that was going on.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
You know, I'm not I'm not trying to get you
to say that they were they were bad people, right,
I'm trying to get you to say whether or not
you feel for your own spirit, whether the right people
to be around.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I would say no, because overall I was doing stuff.
I was hurting my career.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Because if you was, We've been We've been to your
after parties, We've hung out, you have a victory, were
in the club with you And I don't even do clubs,
but if we are in the club together, I ain't
gonna sit there while you're drinking.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
I'm like, my man, what you're doing? Like, chill? I
know you just won, but chill, you know what I mean.
So that's why I asked that.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, yeah, no, I mean again, I don't.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
I personally don't like to blame nobody, you know, that's
just me. I take responsibility blame on you. Yeah, the
blame is definitely.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
If you put yourself in an environment that you know
that everybody's condoning it by not saying anything.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Right, right?

Speaker 3 (07:45):
I mean, then if you see it from that perspective,
for sure wasn't around the right people.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
But again, at that time, nothing was gonna get to me.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Bro, I swear, I swear I was in a whole
different universe.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
To be honest, did you think you would never come back?

Speaker 1 (08:00):
One hundred? I didn't think. I'm like, I'm surprised I'm
here right now.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
Really, I was.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Drinking every day, every single day, even the day of
the fight.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Day of the fight, I just got so involved in
just trying to cope whatever was going on inside. And
like I said, I've been struggling mentally for for years
and it just it just wouldn't stop for me. So,
like I said, that's how I coped.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
What was the turning point.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Turning point is to realize, like, damn, bro, I'm slucking
my life up, you know, and getting arrested was a
big part of it. Almost losing my kids was a
huge part of it.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Can you talk about what happened that day? Uh?

Speaker 3 (08:39):
I decided to take a bunch of shrooms and something
I was doing already, but this time I took too
many and I kind of just lost it. Bro, I
can't really say anything else.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
I mean, they were saying that you trashed the room.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Oh yeah, yeah, I mean I ended up breaking everything
in the room.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
I don't I really don't remember. I was drunk and
fucked up to the But.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
To his point, who were you with that day?

Speaker 1 (09:05):
The same people?

Speaker 5 (09:07):
And see, this is the thing, though, I'm sure those
people love you.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
I'm sure you know some of them love you or whatever,
but that doesn't mean that they know what's good for
you in your career and your life and.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
Your spirit, you know what I mean. That's all. I'm
sure that people love you. I ain't trying to knock them.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
I'm just trying to say, do you think you should
have been around that kind of people that's comfortable when
you getting drunk and being an athlete?

Speaker 5 (09:28):
That's all I was trying to say.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
No, No, I respect that, and no, man, I feel
I just didn't have those type of people.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
You know, the going into the Devn fight, you were
the underdog, right. There were so many people saying that
Ryan makes too many defensive defensive mistakes. Devin is the
better boxer. He's gonna out box him. He's gonna out
box him. That day, was you already have starved. But
that was like a coming out party for you. What said,

(10:00):
Wait a minute, this kid is a monster in the
ring at a weight class that you're comfortable with, right,
didn't part of you? Did you surprise yourself that there?
I know you know you great, but after watching that
fight that you say, damn, like I'm really great in
the sport, like I need to focus so I could
be an all time great look at this performance.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
Did you watch that fight and say.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
That No, no, not at all.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
For me, I've always been at the top level since
the amateurs, And for me, it's always been people from
the outside when they watched me fight, Oh, he seems
like I could beat him, right, Even the amateurs are
I ain't gonna I ain't gonna do nothing. But when
I get in there, and then there's a whole different story,
Like I'm not I just know what I'm doing without

(10:45):
looking like a typical boxer, if that makes sense. Of course,
you know, I have my own ways of thinking. I
have my own movements in the ring that you know,
I mastered myself right, right, and people see it. People
can it myself. I've done a lot of you know,
thinking in my brain about what I feel like. You know,
I put myself in a position and the ring. Okay,
you may think you're safe here, but you're not. You know,

(11:06):
That's why Devin Hainey thought he was safe in many positions,
throwing a jab like he always does the jab.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
I caught boom, real quick, cook boom.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
You know, I understand where he's at, you know, he
like there was a lot of instances.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
That people don't take advantage of it, and I'm not
going to give.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Out what I know internally, and I took advantage of
every single time. Now I may have not been at
my best condition wise, but I still felt like I
would fight this, you know, the same way because people say,
oh you.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
You know you won the first round, then you took
rounds off. Nah.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
I had to fight in pockets because with Devin Haney,
he's all about rhythm. So if I keep showing them
the same thing, he don't catch on, you know, still
around blah blah blah. So me, it was showing okay,
I'm aggressive here, pick it up here.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Now I'm not aggressive. Now I'm moving, and he's like,
what the hell.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
So it's like keeping like a great fighter, like not
knowing what you're doing for me.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
That's what that was. In my mind.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
I took advantage every time he let he let go
of his alertness.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
I caught him every single time.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
So you know, they.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Said that Floyd or you said that Floyd told you
the three pounds?

Speaker 5 (12:11):
Is that true?

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Or no, that's not That's not true. Right, That's what
I'm saying because that's what I'm getting from today.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
I think I don't know what it was.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
I think Bill has rubbed people the wrong way, and
I think people wanted to hop on the bandwagon or
shitting on Devin because of Bill. I think, yeah, it
was a fun moment, man, it was funny, bro, I
can't lie like that was that was the iconic moment.
Nobody's gonna forget that whole press or nobody's gonna forget it,
and yeah, it was one of those moments in time

(12:39):
where you're just not gonna forget.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
I can't believe the condition you had throughout that fight.
And now to learn that you were drinking that day
before the fight.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Yeah, yeah, what were you drinking?

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Big beer whatever?

Speaker 5 (12:53):
Like Bro, like sponsorships.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Yeah, you're gonna you want to punch like Ryan.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Trying to get it do no, but I might come
out with a non alcoholic beer.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Who knows.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
Yeah, I don't drink anymore, so I'll buy into that. Now.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
You you said you were crashing out afterwards. Were you
blowing a lot of money?

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Man, I was doing everything, gambling, drinking, women, anything I
wanted to do.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Just destroying my soul, you know, destroying my spirit. What
really took a toll on me.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
I've been around your parents, lovely people. What what would
what would they tell you during that time?

Speaker 1 (13:32):
What were some of the things they wanted me to
get help?

Speaker 3 (13:35):
I mean they were they were trying to, you know,
get help from me as as best as I can.
But you ain't listening when you're in that when you're
in that state, you ain't listening.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
When you when you were have everything you want at
your at your disposal. Bro, it's you know, it's not
It's not for everybody.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
I mean, I've bet addictive personality.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
So when I got going, I got going and just
took it to a whole nother place.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
So I kept saying myself, I got a call this dude, man,
he's he's wilding out publicly. And that's the thing with
this generation, it's.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Like everything's gonna be out there.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
Everything's out there.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Yeah, and at the time, you don't you was putting
it out there even more.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
It was. It was a crazy, crazy time, you know.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
But what I've never seen before when a person who
feels a drug test and declares that they're innocent, a
lot of people rode with you.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
I never saw that. Even Davis, he was crafty.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
With his though I don't know his you know, but
a lot of people rode with you, and a lot
of people trashed death it right, did you even for
a set I guess you can't have no sympathy for
him because you feel like you've been wrong.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Yes, yes, I don't know, man. I think it was
just the blessing of God upon my life. I mean,
that's all I could put it as, because usually people
don't get the benefit of doubt in those situations. But
thank God that people seeing the truth, you know, and
people know that I didn't take the stirbis because I didn't,
I really fucking didn't.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
And the reason why we didn't continue with.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
The case, which a lot of people bring up at times,
is because my attorney said, no matter what they're gonna do,
it like they already had indications that You're already gonna
do it. So I was like, all right, I'm not
gonna continue. I'm gonna keep spending money on this.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
I don't understand what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
So basically that their decision was already final that there
was like they don't they don't care if it was tainted,
like once I proved that, suppose I'm tainted, that their
decision is still going to be the same, right, no
matter what. So I said, already have the public opinion
that knows that I didn't do it, there's no point
of even spending more money in it just to.

Speaker 5 (15:51):
Close on this.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
You know, your perspective is that the test was tainted
in New York at some point.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
I don't know what they did, but I'm tested clean
all the way through and it was strange is thank
god I posted it on my Instagram that it was
clean like way before the fight and I was clean
all the way through.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
They know it.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
And then suppose they had took Austria in the day
before and the day after. That's what they found. They
found a billionth of a grant. But again, I don't
even know where to get Austrian. I don't know any
of that, so.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
It was bullshit. It's definitely bullshit.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
All right.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
So we mentioned before, you know, you was famous online
before boxing and then became a boxing star. And then
there's another guy who was famous online and his name
is Jake Paul and years ago you guys were doing
videos together. You guys were taking flicks together, doing face offs.
But now it seems to be an issue what happened then.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
I don't really have an issue with Jake. I had
an issue with Logan. As far as Jake.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
What was your issue with Logan?

Speaker 1 (16:54):
If you Logan?

Speaker 3 (16:56):
I didn't like that he at the time, he was
calling me some like he was saying, I'm crazy, I'm this,
I'm that. When I was talking about, you know, shold
sex trafficking and trying to raise awareness on it, and uh,
I kind of, you know, wild out on him, and
that's where our beef started. And I said, fuck you,
I don't like drinking your drink. I'm not gonna say
it right now because obviously I'm South. And then that's

(17:20):
where that started. That's where the animosity started.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Yeah, but just you No, I don't really have beef
with Jake. Even to this day me might have beef
for me.

Speaker 5 (17:31):
Would you fight Jake in a professional prize fight?

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Why not? You know?

Speaker 4 (17:35):
I feel like, uh, would you give up weight if
it came to that course?

Speaker 5 (17:39):
Of course?

Speaker 1 (17:40):
You know, of course, I.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
Mean you have to admit Jake right there.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
The event with Mike Tyson over a hundred million people watch,
So there's value in there.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
There's value in in the fight.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
We're gonna make a bunch of money, right, you know,
he's always gonna think he's gonna win.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
Oh, he's definigurnna think.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
But again, this is what I see is that he's
not as good as he thinks he is in his head?

Speaker 5 (18:03):
How long would that fight last?

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Five rounds? Four rounds because it's weight? Maybe, but.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
I mean he didn't even do anything to Mike Tyson
and Mike Tyson's sixty wobbling on his own self.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
I hated that. I hated that. But then maybe at
the end, maybe he kind of pulled back a little bit.
Maybe not. Plus he didn't want to get clipped.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Now he tried to knock him out.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
He was he was catching him. He was trying to
catch him. That's true. So what happened before this amazing
fight did you have coming up? May second?

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Yeah, what happened with the pit bull negotiations? Because you
were like, oh man, wait till you guys see who
I'm fighting next to it.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
It's like you was motivated for him.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
I was motivated for him because he was the one
that he started chirping at me crazy and it's somebody
that people, I feel like, always thought he could just
beat me for some reason. And it was like kind
of a Mexican thing where I'm gonna get my respect
from the you know, the Mexican people. You know, that's
something I always wanted, you know, I always wanted to do.

(19:04):
I want to always get to gather that, and he
didn't give me the chance, you know, to prove that.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
And it kind of sucks. But again, they've done that
to me three.

Speaker 5 (19:13):
Times now, did you guys make Yeah, I want to take.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
More money than he's ever made. Uh, he just didn't
want to do it. You don't want to look past
whatever opponent he had.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
But do you feel like that that curse that Oscar had.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
I mean, Oscar was a great fighter, but.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Especially other Mexican fighters tried to act like he wasn't Mexican,
you know, and try to say that the people don't
really love him.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
Do you feel like you have that same issue?

Speaker 1 (19:41):
I feel like I did have a pretty boy just
like him.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Yeah, you know, yeah, I feel like We've had a
lot of similarities in our career and that was one
of them.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
And that's something I've always wanted.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Have you ever made back Thursdays we did one with
auscar Or? You guys know what I'm saying, Have you
been on one of his? Because I know there was
a time with you got it, There's no way, no no,
But you guys got a love and hate relationship. It's
freaking up and down right. And at one point you said,
and Devin, I don't know how many weeks after the

(20:13):
fight that you guys hadn't got paid for the fight yet?

Speaker 5 (20:15):
Yeah? How true is that?

Speaker 3 (20:18):
It took a little longer than usual? For sure, I
don't know what was up with that, But how.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Long did it take for you to actually get paid?

Speaker 3 (20:28):
I don't really remember the exact but it was a
significant time. Even like Devin was like, what the hell
is going on? I was like, what the hell's going on?

Speaker 4 (20:35):
How did somebody that has money right in the back.
When did you say, all right, when is this going
to hit the account man? I don't see it yet,
Like do you have accounting?

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Somebody waiting for the money, right, waiting for the money
we have? And I know what you know in pay
per views it takes time.

Speaker 5 (20:50):
You eventually got all of your money.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Yes, yes, It's like every time you beef and when
Oscar all that solves.

Speaker 5 (20:56):
The beef is a lou check.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
The first time I have beef, you see you sitting down,
sitting there, RAN's happy.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Now, hey, the man is money, you won't be happy, right, So.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
So how how are things when you in Oscar nowadays?
Eric go and those guys.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
We're good. You're good.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Do you do you feel like uh Ryan and his
career a golden boy?

Speaker 1 (21:19):
I plan?

Speaker 3 (21:19):
I mean not, probably not, because I feel like I'm
a big enough start to do this myself and I
want to, you know, just like he did. I want
to do my own promotion company. I think I know
how to promote younger fighters. I know how to probe promote,
you know, this generation of fighters, and I think I
could do a good job and put people on, show
them away and show them not the way.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
So so you you you want to go into that
field as a promoter.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Yeah, yeah, I think I could be a Will you.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
Do it while still fighting?

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Probably not?

Speaker 3 (21:48):
No, I want to focus on on on my curl.
I'll start my promotion company, but I won't be that promoter.

Speaker 5 (21:52):
Right.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
When is your deal up with Golden Boy Tumor Fights
to Believe?

Speaker 5 (21:56):
So what's your promotional company name?

Speaker 1 (22:02):
I don't know yet, but I wouldn't give it out anyways.
I don't want to steal my name, that's true.

Speaker 5 (22:06):
And somebody trademark, I.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Gotta pay them a bunch of money to get that trademark.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
Well, people are waiting for that.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Let's talk about Javonte davis obviously huge fight recently with
Lamar Roach where he went into that fight being a
heavy favorite. Lamont was very confident, though a little you know,
more confident than most people that fight. Tank, What in
your opinion was the difference in that fight? Some people
felt Lamont won? Uh?

Speaker 5 (22:31):
Some people happy with the draw.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
We all know about the controversial knee knockdown that wasn't called.

Speaker 5 (22:37):
Give me your assessment of the fight.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
Watching the fight, Uh, Tank did what he usually does,
give away the rounds and Lamar always had an answer
for everything Tank had. Anytime Tank even had even a
little sense of trying to pick it up, Roach always
came back and I felt like he boxs perfect.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
To me, I felt like, man, I was shocked, like
this is sharp.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
But also I felt that because Tank had one foot
inside the box and one foot out, he didn't he
couldn't take it to the gears that he usually takes
it to, you know, when he started picking up crazy
But to.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
MI understanding, he threw more punches that he's ever thrown
in a fight.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
Right, he still threw a lot less than than Roach.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
So I don't know for me, but he didn't have
that that aggression that he usually has.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
So what can we credit Roach for that?

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, of course, But for me, this is what I'm
saying from Tanks. I see from the outside it didn't
look like he had that aggression. But it's a credit
you know, Lamont, he fought perfect. To me, I feel
like he has Tank's number in a way. You can
see in the fight that he just timed them on
things that he knows he's gonna do. And I thought
Lamont won from from what I've seen in the fire,

(23:51):
I thought Lamont won, and I think the Commission does
need to do something with that knee because if they don't,
then all of us are gonna think we could take
a knee anytime we want. You know, they gotta do
something about it. I mean, they did something about me.
You gotta do something about other people.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
You know.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
Rules are rules, right, It's you know, I like tank
though personally, but a rule is a rule. You can't
go and take a knee and then just expect them
to be a knockdown. You know, you can't get away
with it.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Stuff like that when.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
You say one foot in boxing and one foot out. Yeah,
what is it like such a small boxing world that
you know what he's really doing?

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Uh No?

Speaker 3 (24:25):
But I mean from what he said, obviously, I want
to retire his demeanor. It's like he don't really want
to box no more, telling people don't box. You know,
kids should a box, you know, so it's kind of
like he don't really love it no more. You know,
you know se what I'm saying, And that will mess
you up because in a fight you got to be
all the way in because when when problems, you know,

(24:48):
rise in the ring, even it's a little problem, you
got to be ready to snap it in the butt.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
You think that that might light a fire under him,
And how does the rematch play out if they do
fight again. Sometimes not a law, but something like this,
a blemish might get you back.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
He can. You know, it's all up the tank.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
It's all about what you know, how he feels inside internally.
I think you know for him it's a lot to
do up here too, you know, like all of us.
But I think that's what you're gonna get from Roach.
That's that's what you're gonna get at Roach. Every time.
I think, I think it's up to Tank to see,
you know, what type of how far he could go?

Speaker 5 (25:26):
How old is your oldest child?

Speaker 1 (25:28):
She is about to be six.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
So that means six years ago you said I'm only
gonna box that I'm twenty six years old.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Right, all right, you're twenty six years old. Now. Life changes.
I mean, it's not a funny thing.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
I wasn't trying to make fun of you, because I
know when we're young, we think a whole.

Speaker 5 (25:45):
Lot of things.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
I was supposed to be a doctor. I didn't know
I was going to be a guy on the street
with a gun. I didn't want to be that guy.
So now that you're twenty six, how much longer does
Ryan the twenty six year old Ryan say he has
or what he wants to acomplished.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Yeah, I want to fight the guys that I've always
wanted to fight. In my heart, That's always been what
I wanted to do, you know, I've always said it.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
So I still want to fight tell Fema.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
Because I felt like, you know, we were seeing as
the Four Kings, and I want to be the first
one to complete it. You know, Tank, Devin, Now I
want to fight a Fema. I want to fight Tank again.
I want to fight Tank again. And then you know
the middle fights that I'm gonna have to do because
sometimes you can't get them right away.

Speaker 5 (26:33):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
I do want to fight your Kurd.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
Because that's somebody I've you know, I had a competition
with since the Amateurs, and you know, I feel like
he's rising.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Up as well.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
And uh, I don't know, Parent Crawford. I want to
fight Terrence Crawford. I just want to fight everybody I
possibly can.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
That's another thing you have somemilar with Oscar see for that.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
That's what you know, It's in our blood. I just
want to fight it. I want to see what they got.
I want to see if they could take my shot.
I want to see, you know, you know what I'm
seeing in front of me. I just want to see
it because I love boxing that much.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Do you care about I know at one point as
a kid, you wanted to be a world champion, right,
every amateur boxer does. And then you've evolved to such
a star that maybe to you the belts didn't matter
so much. Talk to me about these belts because for
me as a kid, right, that's what fighters dreamed of,
like wearing the strap and being able to be called

(27:31):
a world champion.

Speaker 5 (27:32):
Right, it has to mean something to you.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Still when I look at the belts, I don't see champion.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
What do you see?

Speaker 3 (27:41):
I just see sanctioning feet.

Speaker 6 (27:46):
He took so long coming. He was about to say
something profound, and you he was. He was waiting for
me with the punch.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
You know, we worked together, Na, No, I just see
that it's fabricated. You know a lot of the time
Rolie's is a champion once.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Who do you fight? You got all these people that
are all of a sudden championship.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
To me, they don't mean ship when you beat somebody
like a Devin Hay.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
I feel like a champion.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
You know, I understand. It's a video of you yes
years ago, you were a young kid. I got the video.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
I never put it out, but I got the video,
and it's you saying, man, it's belt right here the WBCs.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
I must have been. I must have been at the
WBC headquarter.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
I think you are. I think you were. I think
you were.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Right next to guess what.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
I love Mauricio and I love you know the guy
you know that was the wb A Gilbert. I believe, yeah, Mendoza,
I love them. I got nothing against them. That's just
how I feel as a fighter.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
What about Hall of Fame? Care about being in the
Hall of Fame?

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Na, Man, honestly, I don't care about nothing. I don't
care about none of this.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Ship okay for me.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
But now, at some point in your life it must
have been a ain't or never as a kid.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
I remember when I was eight years old, all I
said was I want to make pro and I want
to make the money.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
It's all that shit. It's just about we're prize fighters. Bro.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
I'm not mad at you. You know. I don't have
I don't have.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Heart towards it, but I have heart towards being the best,
being competitive, winning against these tough guys. Now, if the
bouts come with it, fucking you know, she fighting for
about for this fight w belt.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
But that's the thing, though, we can't get mad at
the fighting.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
You want the names, which eventually those are the fights
that people are gonna remember. Right, So in your own right,
you could still be a legend without anything.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
I don't remember, but.

Speaker 5 (29:41):
The best guys got belts. Usually usually the best guys
got belts. So you won't be winning. You will winning.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
The picture is gonna look fired.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
But god, so you mentioned earlier, and you know what,
you said something early at the press conference you said, no,
you might have said this in a tweet. You said,
you know, just be funny, because funny got you here.
So do you feel that way because you just said
something earlier, like he didn't deserve or earn those belts?

Speaker 5 (30:08):
Is that how you feel? Roly?

Speaker 3 (30:09):
Didn't you know some promoters they know how to position
fighters and certain rankings to get him there for vacant titles.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
I don't even know how he won this title. I
don't know who he beat.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
I think about that, but Also, I think there was
vacant you know what.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Happened there too, That was controversy. Sh I stopped that fight,
but definitely not.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Yeah, that's a that's a part of it. But Ro's
to me, he's not the same. Like when I look
at him in the eyes, I'm like, all right, God
got him. Like he lost his fire too. I'm like, damn,
I'm about to eat him up. I feel like he's
just food right now.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
And why because I feel like he's take out twice
is gone.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
I feel he's checked out. You know, he's getting his checking.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
So you were very cold in the press golfers saying
I'm not going to overlook him. He's a dangerous fighter.
But deep down, do you see itself knocking him out early?

Speaker 1 (31:05):
I got to be in there.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
I gotta feel with you know, you know, once I
feel his shots, don't you know know where he's at,
how sharp he is, don't you know?

Speaker 1 (31:12):
Then we'll figure out the combination.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
But it's safe to say that you probably are the
reason why Rowley has made the money he's made and
has fought the fighters that he's fought and had that
and I.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Think that's why he got his respect for me. You see,
he ain't talking crazy. It's great.

Speaker 5 (31:29):
I mean his claim to fame, his claim the fame
was that sparking video. Let's be honest.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
I don't know if you were sixteen, seventeen, seventeen, seventeen, right,
but thirty.

Speaker 5 (31:39):
So he knew. He used the hell out of that
video for me.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
That's why I give you.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Yeah, he can't give me the thank you, but he said,
you know, if you fuck to find his bitch, you're
gonna tell everybody you fucked up.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
I'm like, bro, you crazy. But at the end of
the day, you know, he used his advantage.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
I'm not mad at him, but you know I always
wanted to put a stake into it and say, like,
you know, he had a little okay sparring match, you know,
rough me up. It actually taught me a lot, you know,
because I was sparking everybody out everywhere I went. It's
everybody and that in the Mayweather Gym. That's why it was.
It was even hype that day for it. So it

(32:20):
taught me a lot on what people are going to
try to do to me in the ring. And I'm like, okay,
I see what they're going to try to do it
made better?

Speaker 5 (32:27):
Sure? All right?

Speaker 2 (32:28):
So may second fatal Fury Turkey Alis Second Ring magazines
putting on this amazing.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
Fight, three fight. It's only three fights.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Correct, is it only?

Speaker 2 (32:39):
I believe so it's only the three fights so far
in the middle of times square. But what I want
to know, so, was you the A side? Is you
Devin into your female?

Speaker 5 (32:47):
Open? Who's headlining?

Speaker 1 (32:49):
It's me?

Speaker 5 (32:50):
It's him? I didn't established was it?

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Was it obvious press com No, that was our moderator,
did he?

Speaker 1 (33:02):
He didn't want to. He don't want You don't want to.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
No, no, no, Doug said Cole Maine for the Devin
fight and said main event when he should do so,
pay attention, go back, You're the main event.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
He kept on saying, this is all the main event.
He did that weird ship. He did that weird ship.

Speaker 5 (33:19):
In my opinion, he was trying to say these all speak.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
What he said was these fights they all can be
main events in their own right.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
And then I think he was under minding that I'm
the main event. I ain't gonna lie, my boy, Doug.
He did I know what you're doing, Dougie.

Speaker 5 (33:38):
I'm not saying nothing about Doug being able brought this up.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
Ryan, talk to me about h They called him his
excellency right and as a businessman, as a boxy man,
people were saying that you got a thing right, God
hid something called him call him.

Speaker 5 (33:59):
Here he okay, this is my question.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Bro good Roll they call him is crazy brozy.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
No, seriously, so Turke Gallashy his excellency.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
I can't pronounce that. I don't even so they always
asked me to say that I can't pronoun.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
That's what I got.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
You've been around a lot of boxing minds and promoters Oscar,
but no.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
You had your runnings for Eddie Hearn.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
How does Turkey compare as a boxing businessman? Talk about
your experience talking to him.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
He got the best ideas and he understands this generation
on how to promote fights. You know, he should be
seeing what he's he's bringing to the table. He's bringing,
you know, mister Beeston to play.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
He's bringing.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
You know, k s I, all these guys that are
huge names and that you are gonna.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
You know, amplify the promotion.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
He knows he's gonna move the You're gonna see it.
There is a method to what he's doing. And I
think he's he's the new guy on the block, but
I think he's gonna take over. And if your hater
on it, it's weird because he's bringing all the best
fights possible. He's making sure that we fight me and Devin.
There's no if you have an excuses, it's.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Not about money.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Money, it's not about money.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
And he's exposing people because it ain't about money.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
When it comes to people that outpro usually outpriced themselves out.

Speaker 5 (35:27):
Now that they.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Denied fight, it ain't about money for sure.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
You know, Femo is on with us and he said
something about a thirty million dollar three fight deal that
that's what he's looking at right, So in this fight,
is this fight going to be the most money you've
ever made?

Speaker 5 (35:44):
Close to it? Like? What is the money looking like?
Maya business? I'm always gonna bring up money. I'm just watching.
I'm just watching what you're saying. I'm gonna see how
you're gonna ask them. I just asked him how much
this guy he wants to know. He doesn't ever't want
to be want to ask. He secretly wants to know
what don't money? All right, stop stopping me?

Speaker 1 (36:05):
I know a higher or lower I'll do higher.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
So let's say for this particular fight against Rowley, would
you've been making more than ten million?

Speaker 5 (36:16):
More than fifteen mm hmm damn twenty.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
Around there around?

Speaker 5 (36:24):
That s all right, I got it.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
So do you see yourself working with with with Turkey
throughout your career often?

Speaker 5 (36:33):
Because if all of these big million, that's yea answer
for him, no doubt. So who's next? Is it?

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Is it Devin? We already sign but Devin has to uh, okay, yeah,
so we have to win. We have to win.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
Can't look overpast our opponents. So yeah, we already faced off,
were already ready to go.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
So how does the how does the potential tank fight
happen again? When you're at forty seven one and forty
seven pounds at this were you're obviously a big guy.
Do you make one forty again? Because I don't think
tank goes up to one forty seven.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
I don't make one forty again.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
You can't, No, I can't.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
Man, even being near these guys like Rolies, he just
seemed smaller than me, you know, even to a femam
next to him. I'm like, they just seemed smaller than me.
They used to feel bigger than me. They used to
feel like damn, they're like pretty big. But now I'm like,
damn this dude, I'm gonna have my way in there.

Speaker 5 (37:27):
So that fight might never happen.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
You might never be able to get your lick back
with Tank.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
Tank knows that we made good money and he knows
that's where the big money's at.

Speaker 5 (37:35):
So is that the most important fight to you?

Speaker 3 (37:37):
Yeah, Vengemina, Yeah, yeah, because I felt like that wasn't
that wasn't even close to.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
What I could do at all.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
You know, a lot of people say that because of
you having to fight at one thirty five and having
a rehydration purse, and after seeing what how you performed
against Devin, a lot of people think the fight would
have been different at one What what about that fight
would have been different outside of you feeling straight, Well.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
When you're not dehydrating the way you are, you're better,
you know, with thinking, you're better with strength, you're better
with reflexes, you're better with everything. And mind you, I
did have a broken rib. He knew it, he did,
he didn't know it. He did have a moment in my.

Speaker 5 (38:15):
You find out who that was? Nah?

Speaker 1 (38:16):
Nah, But I ended up firing everybody, so it didn't
really matter.

Speaker 5 (38:19):
New team.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
I cann't.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
You know, that's something I'm not going to live with.
You know, you can't find you gotta call pest control,
get rid of everybody.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
So this fighter that posted this years ago, oh well
whenever that fight was last year. Rather they said, I'm sorry, Ryan,
I bruised your rib and that's why you lost the tank.

Speaker 5 (38:37):
Yeah was it?

Speaker 1 (38:38):
He he didn't bruise my rib. He he broke my rib.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
But that's when I was, you know, obviously cutting away
as well, and he didn't break my rib like he
was beating my ass. It was like the start of
the round. I went like this and then tripped it
and I was like wait, hold up.

Speaker 5 (38:53):
Like something wrong, something wrong, Like I'm not how long ago?
I mean, how long before the fight did that happened?

Speaker 1 (38:59):
That was like right before fight?

Speaker 3 (39:00):
And I was like weeks weeks probably two weeks wow,
And I and I and the doctor is like you
probably shouldn't do this, and I'm already here, bro, I'm
already here, like I'm just gonna run it. And it
was hard because I was like literally running to lose
weight still like this holding my rib like the two
days three days after because that is still kutwait, but

(39:24):
that's the choice I made. There's nothing I could do,
but I know I could do way better than that.
I know I could beat them.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
Now, you said you those guys are small, So how
how heavy would Brian go?

Speaker 5 (39:34):
What class would you go to? Probably probably six?

Speaker 1 (39:37):
I think I could get to six.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
So you might not never be able to fight Tank again.
Come on, Tank is not going up to forty something.

Speaker 5 (39:45):
I mean, like he said, they made a lot of money.
Money he might go up for another fifty million?

Speaker 1 (39:50):
Is boxing? Bro?

Speaker 3 (39:51):
This is what we gotta do. You know, Roberto Durant
went up like eight. No, I don't know how many
weight classes, but we could do it. Like I feel
like I feel like we could do it. I feel
like all of us could do it. You know, we
all got the skills. We all could beat these.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
A lot of the guys in bigger division ain't even
that good. In my opinion, what do.

Speaker 5 (40:10):
You think is would be your toughest.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
Challenge, The toughest challenge in these weight guys like fifty
four would be a great fighter with me and Virgil.
Virgil or teams would be a banging fight. You know,
I fought him in the Amateurs of any Times. You
got a lot of great fighters out fifty four too.

Speaker 4 (40:25):
But do you think that would be the toughest at
fifty four? I know you mentioned Jeron Boutennis.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
As well's forty seven.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
Yeah, but I would be a great fight too, Virgil
boots Terrence.

Speaker 5 (40:40):
I know.

Speaker 4 (40:41):
But would is it fair to say that Terrence would
be your toughest challenge because of how yeah is?

Speaker 1 (40:47):
I mean, look at him, He's one of the best
in the world, so sure, absolutely, without a doubt.

Speaker 5 (40:51):
How does he feel against Canelo?

Speaker 1 (40:54):
He can't beat Canila?

Speaker 3 (40:55):
No, no, I mean I don't see him being He
didn't even look that strong.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
Again, it's to be honest. Imagine is not even a
big Yeah.

Speaker 5 (41:04):
A different style though, has a jerk style.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (41:07):
But the thing.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
What Canelo is he's mastered his style and he ain't
gonna change it up. But he's mastered it like he
understands what's going on the ring at all times. I
just don't see Terrence beating I don't who's.

Speaker 5 (41:23):
The hardest punch you ever faced? Oscar? Who you knocked out?

Speaker 1 (41:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (41:30):
How did he show you? What was the face or well, he's.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
The only one that's ever cut my eye when he
hit me with the upper curtain of the clinch, and
I was like, you know, did you.

Speaker 5 (41:39):
Turn your back in the corner?

Speaker 2 (41:41):
Ryan root that roll though.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
You don't want to see.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
They ain't never hit me though your back.

Speaker 5 (41:51):
I want.

Speaker 3 (41:54):
That dude, that dude keep the crack, bro. He felt
like he had rocks in his hands. I'm like, and
his head hurt, everything hurt. But yeah, that dude, that
dude is the hardest puncher.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
So out of the three that are fighting on May second,
who do you think has the toughest opponent.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
I think I do.

Speaker 5 (42:14):
I think something in Joz.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
But none of them have any real threat, Like if
you only got that punching power, like just box them
and beat them, you know.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
I like they're the favorites for the reason.

Speaker 5 (42:26):
Oh so because of his power role, you.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Gotta watch out.

Speaker 3 (42:29):
Even Tanks said like, this dude has box in his hands.
I feel like, I this dude's explosive. If I if
I get Kyle one, that could.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
Be the end of the night.

Speaker 5 (42:36):
Tank said that harder than you.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
Yeah, exactly, So that's exactly what I'm saying, Like, I
feel like I have the most high alert. He might
not be the most skilled, but that must lands the
early night you talked.

Speaker 4 (42:48):
About Canelos, so I have to talk about Eddie Retinosa
right there. Word around town is you're training with that
squad again. Can you talk to me about the split
between you and Derrick James and what is that about?

Speaker 3 (43:01):
Uh, just wanting to be closer to my family. Being
in Dallas, you know, kept me away from Derek. You know,
he didn't really want to go anywhere else. Derek's more
of a home body to himself.

Speaker 5 (43:12):
So if he would have willing to train somewhere.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
Else, Yeah, Derek is to me one of my favorite
turns I've ever had, wow in all my career.

Speaker 5 (43:22):
So you guys are still cool.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
Yeah, cool, cool.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
He's the coolest dude in the world, to be honest,
And uh, you know, moving to Eddie is just another
guy that I'm very familiar with his program and everything.
And you know you can't buy experience watching Canal being
around that just you know, soaksing that knowledge as well.

Speaker 1 (43:38):
So all that was to me, you can't go wrong
either way.

Speaker 5 (43:42):
How did that conversation happen?

Speaker 4 (43:43):
Because at one point you threw shots at Eddie and Canelo,
and you guys had some tension to who made the
first attempt to kind of you? Did you call Eddie
or Canelo and say I want to come back?

Speaker 3 (43:56):
I think well, I made like a public post just
like saying that how much I appreciate them and what
they did for my career. You know, I'm always the
person to always want to squash any you know, tension.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
But did you have to have a conversation like you
and Canelo or you and Eddie talked.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
Yeah, a little bit, a little bit, yeah, me and
Canelo through the d MS and in person.

Speaker 5 (44:18):
I wanted to that conversation.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
Saying that, you know, we're family, just giving each other
that Look, you know, it wasn't really much that needed
to be sent. We're cool and none of those words
really understood exactly because we don't really have that much beef.
We said a couple of things here and there, but
you know what, with our personality, sometimes that don't go well.

Speaker 5 (44:38):
Right.

Speaker 2 (44:38):
Okay, So if you are working with Eddie Renoso and
his fighter Canelo is fighting on May third, then obviously
he's not going to be there for you May second.

Speaker 5 (44:46):
In Times Square, Yes, who's going to.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
Be there and probably my dad and whoever else.

Speaker 5 (44:52):
And that's okay. You've already discussed that. Nor you cannot
work his corner bro till.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
We got him. You know, you get too much. You
got too much.

Speaker 5 (45:04):
I carried a bucket. Can I get in the corner? God?

Speaker 1 (45:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (45:09):
Alright? So I mean your life pretty much.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
So you're gonna be with Eddie until when do you
know how long you'll be with Eddie before he goes?

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Never? They got to go to Saturday, babe.

Speaker 5 (45:19):
And that's okay with you.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
That's good.

Speaker 5 (45:21):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
Why because it's because it's only roly, It's only how.

Speaker 5 (45:26):
Many more fights do you want to have this year?
Because everybody showed me one.

Speaker 1 (45:31):
After that and right out for the next time?

Speaker 5 (45:34):
All right? Can you can you give me twenty twenty six?

Speaker 4 (45:37):
If if in your if you had it your way,
and you could pick each guy in the order that
you want him in.

Speaker 5 (45:43):
Who's your next two fights in twenty twenty six?

Speaker 1 (45:47):
Lopez Blue tennis?

Speaker 4 (45:50):
Mm hmm, some big fights? Have you and Turkey talked
about those fights?

Speaker 1 (45:54):
Now? He's waiting for all these winners.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
Oh gotch the tournament style, I kind of it, right,
But I'm.

Speaker 4 (45:59):
Say, ain't he's he talks about all these big fights.
I know you have this ahead of you, this ship,
But has there been conversation if I win this year,
this is who I want?

Speaker 5 (46:11):
Not yet? Yeah? Yeah, okay, so the plan, you know,
so there's a plan.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
There's always a plan.

Speaker 5 (46:17):
So does Devin Hainey consume you?

Speaker 3 (46:19):
Because no, I've already kind of moved on a lot
of people are like kind of like dragging that on
a little bit.

Speaker 1 (46:25):
You don't consume me. I was in the ring with him.
I beat him, that's up.

Speaker 4 (46:28):
Is it true that you had he had to drop
the lawsuit on you in order to get these fights?

Speaker 5 (46:34):
Is that true? Yeah? He did.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
I wasn't gonna give him the fighting this he dropped.

Speaker 5 (46:38):
So it's done.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
God, whatever I wanted, damn what.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
You kind of need him though, because no matter what,
it's a stain on your record.

Speaker 3 (46:48):
Not for me, maybe two people in general, but for me.
Now I don't have no I don't feel no way
towards it. I'll beat him again, That's why I did
it so easily. Again, just drop that lawsuit or you don't.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
Need this win against him again without the stigma.

Speaker 1 (47:07):
I ain't gonna lose.

Speaker 3 (47:09):
But this is something that Turkey wanted to so it
was no problem. But like I said, I don't have
no I don't feel no way towards it. I feel
like I beat him the first time.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
And you know what I like about Turkey is that
there's no secrecy. He'll tell you straight up and down. Well, okay,
these guys are fighting, but I'm gonna let you know.
We really want Devin to fight Ryan afterwards. If that
can happen, you might lose, might not, But if you
don't lose, that's I love that. Instead of us like
waiting for Floyd to tell us, please tell us, Please

(47:44):
tell us who all of these fighters? Please tell us.

Speaker 5 (47:46):
We know, like ahead, something to look forward to. Should
have a schedule like that sports.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
If you don't know who somebody's fighting, you don't have
anything to look forward to.

Speaker 5 (47:55):
Something.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
People can't follow the timeline correctly, Like what's going on?
I thought he was gonna fight him? Why is he
fighting him?

Speaker 3 (48:01):
You know it's like now we get to we get
to get to the super Bowl, and no, all right,
this this is it.

Speaker 4 (48:05):
You can save up to get their plane tickets, tickets
to the fights.

Speaker 5 (48:09):
Now you're a showman.

Speaker 4 (48:11):
This is Times Square, Bro, They're gonna shut it down
like it's New Year's insane. They supposedly there's gonna be
only like three hundred seats and then everybody else standing.
Hopefully we can make within those three hundred barrock, What
do you have planned for the entrance?

Speaker 5 (48:28):
Has that even crossed your mind yet? Was it too early? Crazy?
Is it too early? I'm just curious because you're thinking
about it.

Speaker 1 (48:34):
I got some ideas I gotta, I gotta maybe that
maybe something you know?

Speaker 5 (48:41):
Uh, he goes zip line. I mean, be honest, you
could never and yet why this dream? Imagine fighting into.

Speaker 3 (48:45):
What I tell you is, I'm gonna go nuts on it.
You can be something you've never seen before.

Speaker 4 (48:49):
I can't wait for that. Well, listen, we'll be their
front center. God willen looking forward to seeing you back
in the ring, Ryan, and and or those days behind
you that crash out.

Speaker 5 (49:03):
You're past that.

Speaker 1 (49:04):
Yeah, no, no drinking next time and be like, yo,
what you're doing? One hundred per focused?

Speaker 5 (49:16):
May second Times Square headliner? That happen?

Speaker 1 (49:20):
There you go? Done?

Speaker 5 (49:21):
Our boy? All right? Love? Right?

Speaker 4 (49:23):
Oh wait, before they met Ryan, We've got some stuff
some ring champ stuff some all the smoke.

Speaker 5 (49:29):
Get that we wanted to give you right.

Speaker 4 (49:31):
Here, all the small fight right this is our ship
and it's like street where it's not.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Something you like that, sir, you rocking this ship? Get
a baby you.

Speaker 4 (49:43):
I guess signed one that doesn't have any other signatures,
like maybe that blue one right there.

Speaker 3 (49:48):
Well, this one right helga, trying to fund one that
doesn't have anybody all.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
Right, don't see that one has right here?

Speaker 5 (50:00):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (50:02):
Yo.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
Just finished my interview with Ring Champs. It went crazy
well with the guys, I can barack.
