(00:29):
five iHeartMedia and we are at threePoints, Miami, twenty twenty three and
I'm here with do Massage. How'sit going, guys? Going great?
It's amazing. It's awesome, man, we're doing good. That's good to
hear. That's good to hear.Welcome to three Points. Thank you for
having us three Points in iHeart Andhow's it feel being you? Guys are
(00:50):
from Miami technically right, So how'sit feel playing at such a big festival
in Miami? It's crazy. Iactually used to work for the festival as
an intern in twenty nineteen, soit's crazy to see things come full circle.
Yeah, that's full circle right there, anyone else, I'm stoked,
man. It's it's an honor andI'm very proud of us to have a
festival in our own city. Soit feels kind of crazy because the South
(01:12):
Florida scene venue situation is like,uh, touchy and likes. It's hard
being a band in South Florida. So being able to have this opportunity is
surreal. Great great stage, isgreat turnout, amazing night. Yeah,
for sure, for sure, greatturnout. And you guys just released a
new single, correct, Tethered.Yeah, we just released it maybe about
(01:34):
what almost two weeks ago now twoweeks now. Yeah, and it's probably
one of our favorite singles we releasedso far. Could you tell me any
things? Is there anything special aboutTethered? Yeah? Then the whole song
We all feel great about it.We we were in love with the song
as soon as we started writing it, and we're just excited to actually put
it out and have people listen toit and actually, like, I don't
(01:55):
know, play it for people livefor the first time or not the first
time. We've played it for awhile. But and I know you guys
had some big tour dates coming upand sold out shows too. Yeah,
full tour with the band Julie fromLa. Every single date sold out and
that's amazing for us. We didnot expect that and we're super honored to
have them invite us out there.Just came off of a pure whim too.
(02:20):
Yeah. Yeah. I saw Atlantaand North Carolina, all the events
sold out, sold out, whichis you know, congratch you guys for
sure. No, it's our firsttour, so it's definitely surreal to like
be having this kind of experience withour first tour. Super happy about that.
And if I might ask, howdid the band come together? So
I had released a song when Iwas in high school, Antoine messaged me
and then from there we started todo assage. Jackie Tony came on a
(02:43):
bit later, and this is ourperfect lineup, last lineup. It's been
amazing ever since all four of uscame together. Did you guys join together
during COVID? Was this a COVIDthing or before or after? Right before
COVID? It was like three monthsbefore COVID hit that we started playing shows
together and stuff, and then COVIDhit obviously in March. We started the
(03:04):
band November nineteenth and started playing ourfirst show New Year's Eve? Oh wow?
And how was covered for you guys? Did you guys get there like
I sit sit around make some musictogether? At least it was tough.
It was a struggle. Every venuewas closed, but we got to writing.
None of that stuff is up anymorebecause it doesn't really match us,
but it got our creative juices flowingfor what came later on with the new
(03:29):
lineup, and we're really excited.I don't know, it was it was
a learning curve that we had toget through, like in a band,
starting a band and then COVID.Hitting was completely different from starting a band
before COVID because it really didn't haveanywhere to play, honestly, but it
was. It was exciting sometimes I'llsay it allowed us to like hone in
(03:51):
on our skill, like become like, you know, good at what we
do now. So we're definitely appreciativefor that time. We were meeting him
five days a week going crazy onthe song. So yeah, yeah,
you know it helps, you know, getting out of the house. And
if i'm my ass name an artistyou guys wish you guys could work with.
I would love to work with Bbadoobie. I think she's a sick,
(04:11):
super sick. I would love todo anything with her, open up for
her collab on a song something likethat. I would love to work with
Paramore. You know, when Iwas listening to you guys, you guys
gave me that vibe of like earlyParamore, early early Paramore for sure,
raw way Okay, I'm not sure. Uh, probably wolf filists. Maybe
(04:33):
they're cool, Yeah, very cool. And if my ass also, I
asked every artist this, what wouldyour artist writer include? I've had some
crazy answer. I just had someonesay sushi. I had someone say they
wanted a picture of their dog. They knew the venue was good, that
the venue could get that as soonas they walked up at the benue was
good if they had that picture there. What is your guys artist writer include?
(04:55):
Dream artist writer? I think sushiis pretty good. Probably coffee,
I don't know. Honestly, apractice space would be insane at a festival.
I would really appreciate a practice spacethat's unique. Yep, that too.
I'm with him on that practice space. All right. That's three for
me on that all right, threefor three on the practice space. All
(05:16):
right. And you guys are playingright in like what an hour? Correct?
