Jon Caldara filled in for Ryan on Monday, and re-joins the show Tuesday to reflect on the town he grew up in and currently resides in - Boulder, Colorado. What happened to this once halcyonic haven for open minds? What led to the terror attack that was perpetrated there and why was Boulder chosen by the attacker?

Rep. Jeff Crank (R, CO-5) joins Ryan with his reaction to the firebombing attacks on Pearl Street in Boulder this Sunday, and what the U.S. government should do in response to the anti-Semitic act of terror in our own backyard.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Reflecting on the terror attack in Boulder, I thought of
no better person to join us than a Boulder native
and current resident, and I had to be away. As
I mentioned from my show, my niece graduated over the
weekend back in Michigan. But very fortunate to have had
John Caldera feeling for me. Of course, he heads up
the Independence Institute, and he knows Boulder inside and out,

(00:21):
and he is really in a political way, behind enemy
lines in.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
A lot of ways there, but he fights the good fight.
He joins us. Now, John, thank you for your time.
My pleasure is lonely.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Being a fiscal conservative and Boulder.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
What this incident that would happen in Boulder to me
seems like the ultimate of all ironies, in that Boulder
is a very open and welcoming, extremely liberal community that
would probably support a lot of the message of what
this terrorist suspect had in mind, which is free Palestine.
Why would he have conducted this attack in all places Boulder?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Well, you're wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Boulder is by far the most hate filled, intolerant city
in Colorado. And I've lived my entire life in Colorado.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Bolder used to be used to be tolerant. Bolder used
to be goofy liberal.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Yeah, of course, but you'd always have this live and
let live attitude. It wasn't this smug elitism that just
comes out of Boulder all the time.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I mean, think about it.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
You had the Naropa Institute, which was a Buddhist college
and Buddhist slash beatnik college founded by Alan Gisburg, among others.
And then down the street you had the headquarters of
Soldier of Fortune magazine, and everybody lived together. It was
a really great city. And then as prices went up

(01:54):
and rich people came in and Trustafarians took over, it
really became elitist, I mean really elitist.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yes, of course, there's Black Lives Matter.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Signs in everybody's yard, but they're no black people because
no black people can afford.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
To live in Boulder. So it's it's that kind of place.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
If you're a gun owner, as I am in Boulder,
you are despised. There is no room for you. Get
out of here. You're not our type, you're not our kind.
If you're conservative, we're tolerant of all sorts of different
progressive points of view, but no, there's no there's no
pro business, pro freedom point of view. And if you

(02:35):
are pro Palestinian, by all means, we've got a college
here for you, We've got we've got a city for you.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Free Palestine, wave the flags.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
But really there's an underlying I don't want to use
the word anti Semitic, but I don't know if there's
another word there that that makes it, you know, the
perfect place for a crime like this.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Let me rephrase that there would be some sort of
refuge offered to an extreme leftist, as this attacker seems
to have been, rabbit anti Semite. He was at least
that in Boulder, pro Palestinian views very much welcomed. You're right,
those of us such as you and me not welcome.
Gun owner you and gun owner me, and conservative you

(03:20):
and me, those viewpoints aren't welcome. But the irony that
I'm pointing out is that of all places, this attack
would have happened in Boulder by one of their own,
kind of the far left eating its own, and that
the rabbit anti Semitism would be fueled in a place
like Boulder, like we've seen it erupt on college campuses

(03:40):
everywhere to some degree, the protests, etc. From the river
to the sea. Free Palestine. This guy shouted, we all
know what that means. What that is code for, which
is what he said, the elimination of Zionists and of
Israel proper kill the Jews.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yes, it's really it is, and I get it.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
It's odd because you know, conservatives, particularly if you're a
trumpy Conservatives, are the Nazis, the fascists, they are the
anti Semites. Yet it's the progressive left that is killing
Jews and fomenting this hate that we feel right now.

(04:20):
I've never really seen anything like it. And keep in mind,
Boulder is weird. This guy comes all the way up
from the Springs to commit this crime. The King Supers
that I shop in, the King Supers that my daughter
was supposed to be in, but she fortunately got a
doctor's appointment scheduled at the wrong time and wasn't there.
That King Super shooting happened by somebody who lived I

(04:44):
forget where was it Westminster? I forget where he came from.
But he passed other King Supers to come up to Boulder.
Was that a pro Palestinian anti Semitic act? When the
guy went to trial, they really lost over that.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
And one of.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
The spectators who was watching it told me that it
almost felt like, hey, maybe he was up here for
anti Semitic reasons, but that's not going to help us
with this jury. That's obviously very pro Palestinian, it being bolder,
So I don't know what to make of it other
than the hate that is bolder and prepares the soil

(05:28):
for crimes like this. And they are completely blind. Boulderites
are completely blind to how intolerant they are to people
who do not see the world the way they do.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
And that goes to this next text here.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
As we continue with John caldera Independence Institute, please differentiate
anti Israel is not anti Semitic wrong. That is code.
That is what this guy would have you believe. I'm
just going to kill all the Zionists. That means he
wants to kill everyone who believesves Israel has a right
to exist. That's not a coherent take, that's not a rational.

(06:09):
Take a couple more, and then I'll have John respond.
This one says the attacker is Egyptian, but his home country, Idrit,
does not take Palestinian immigrants.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
That is true and quite the irony.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
They are the rudest, most inconsiderate, hateful, fake people.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Boulder are communist.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Wow, you loaded a lot into that text, Texter, Boulder
sounds like the Martha's Vineyard of the Rockies.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
That's from Steve John. Yes or no, that's pretty good.
That's really pretty good.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
I always thought it was, you know, Boulder turned into Aspen.
But mind you, Colorado is turning into boulders. People ask
why why I live here. There's a million reasons. One,
I was here first, that's right. Secondly, what goes on
in Boulder is the Canarian the coal mine for the state.
So many of the policies that that start in Boulder

(07:01):
end up going statewide, from smoking bands to property laws
to all sorts of things.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
And there's also the attitude.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
And those of us who have seen Colorado turn more
into a California over the years understand we have become
much more Bolder like and that's concerning.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
And I get it, Boulder.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
It's easy to rip on Boulder, But Boulder's a beautiful place.
Boulder has a beautiful scenery. Boulder has people who are involved,
but they are definitely up in your business.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
And I don't see Boulder ever.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Taking any responsibility for its smugness or any awareness of it.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Is its elitism, and I.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Don't see Boulder ever saying. You know what we do
foster a hateful underbelly. We hate conservatives. I mean with
a passion. Imagine the guy who puts up a Trump
sign in Boulder is going to get his house egged.
We don't foster a pro is rarely point of view.
We foster a pro Palestinian point of view. We don't

(08:07):
foster any sort of tolerance for gun owners, or people
of a different lifestyle or hunters. And Boulder is blind.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
To this elitism.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
The wackos see Boulder as a soft target, says this Texter.
Ar Veda and Colorado Springs have many more concealed carry citizens.
I'll point out the Club Q shooting was in the Springs,
and of course that was a national story and a
tragedy in and of itself. But John, is there merit
to that that this perpetrator might have seen Boulder as
a so called soft target the way that we see
gun free zones. We know that it's very strict there

(08:43):
for gun owners. Do you think that has any merit?
It's hard to get in the mind of a crazy person.
So I'm going to try to resist that. I will
say However.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
That Boulder has made it very clear that your guns
are not welcome here. Our governor and our legislature continues
to weaken our concealed carry laws, and anti gun places
like Boulder have used that opportunity to ban legal concealed
carry in places like shopping malls or shop stores, movie theaters,

(09:18):
houses of worship. And then you look around and go,
excuse me, but where have all the shootings been at?
King Soupers, a shopping place, in movie theaters like Aurora,
in places of worship like the New Life Church down
in Colorado Springs, which was stopped by a concealed weapon holder.

(09:39):
And I can't help but say, there is a welcoming
aspect when you know that the people around you are
not going to be carrying arms.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Follow him on exit, John Caldera, there's no H in that,
j o n.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
There's no H in John. There's no E in Caldera.
It's all a's. And also just go to thinkfreedom dot
org and check out Independence Institute. We'd love to get
you on our email newsletter.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yeah, thinkfreedom dot org.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
John Kler, you're asking, you're asking the tough questions, and
there is no easy answer for this stuff. But I
think there's a blindness, that there's an underlying hate that
happens on from the.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Left that the left does not want to talk about.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
They are the intolerant ones they warned us about. Yes
John Caldera Independence Institute, thank you as always for your
time job and thanks for filling in for me yesterday.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Always a pleasure to scare away your listeners.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Well I give him a second bite at the apple there,
Ryan Schuling back with you, Kelly couchera alongside. We're running
shotgun here in the six point thirty k how control
room and Sheriff Steve Reims.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
You talk about a big get in this business. This
is what scares me.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
The sheriff has done how many shows would you say, Kelly,
between you know, filling in for Dan four total? He's
not a few more than four though, I think maybe
around ten, oh some between four and ten, not six,
maybe six. Maybe he knows uhhh.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
He probably does. I don't think it's that.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
I don't think it's definitely ton but he got a
very very good scorios.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Tom Holman orders are and I did a great interview
with him. By the way.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
That's the thing is, I went back. I listened to this.
I was on the plane and I was texting back
and forth with you.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Actually during that so I'm on the plane from Detroit
to Denver, I'm listening to the interview in real time.
I look at my clock and I think it took
all a ten minutes between six after the hour and
about fifteen sixteen after the hour. But then I went
back to edit it, and there are so many gold
nuggets in here.

Speaker 6 (11:35):
Uh huh.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Guess how many clips from Tom Holman I was able
to get total. Just give me a guess.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
I don't have a Cutchye, No, that's why it's a guess.
Eight twelve twelve.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
Good for you, you know, I will tell you he
is all business. When I answered the phone when he called, yeah,
it was there are no pleasantries. It's just this Tom
Holman calling for Sheriff Steve Raams.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
You sure did.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
And I was like, well, you know, thank you for
making the time, and he said, yep, okay.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
That was it and they got down to business. Sheriff
Steve Riams. The thing that scares me is so he's done.
We'll agree on this. Single digit shows filling in for
Dan Sheriff Steve Riams. And he's already better at this
job than a lot of people who do this job,
maybe present company included, and definitely better than I would
do walking in there my ninth.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Day is sheriff.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
Well, I wouldn't say present company included, because you're pretty
damn goody.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Cal nicest thing you've ever said to me, Oh, I've
said a lot. Well maybe now that you think of.
Upon reflection, yeah, upon reflection maybe.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
So.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
No, he's he's one of the great He's become one
of the great villains. And the thing about the sheriff
is that he gets better every time he does it.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I think he gets more comfortable.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Yeah, because here's the thing, he lets his personality out.
That's what I'm saying you and I know, behind the scenes,
behind closed doors, not like Joe Biden, but scherf Steve reams.
Very funny guy.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
He is a really funny guy, a great personality, great
sense of humor.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
So let me ask you this. We're gonna spin the wheel,
going to play a little Kelly Roulette here. Which of
the clips, if any, stand out to you. Was there
a particular topic or something that Tom Holman said this
to because I got them all. Yeah, I got them all.
You pick one at the top of your head and
I'll play it.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
I was really really interested in what he had to
say about the Boulder incident.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Okay, Well that's right off the top. And here's Sheriff
Steve Riams leading into that conversation. This from the Dan
Kampella Show yesterday, and Sheriff Reams is filling in again
for Dan today.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
Well, it's a couple of things. First, we're standing an
increase on the threats against Jewish population. But President Trump,
as you can see, he's sorry take an accent on
college campuses. But you know, the whole issue of over
stay pieces has become a problem over the last couple
of decades. No one's really aggressive, but ICE is going
to I mean, it's no a coinstance. But just last

(14:04):
week we had a meeting talk about we're going to
increase the target profile for overstays. You know, we said
in day one we're going to concentrate on public, saite
your threats and ask the security threats. I'd be the priority. However,
we're going to open We're opening that aperture now to
include positives, those who've had a hearing or had due process.
We're ordering move and didn't leave, and we're going to

(14:25):
add over stay visas to it because overstay visa has
become a big issue. Every year we get at least
at least sixty thousand people over to their visas, so
we're adding them as a target list and you can
see a ramp up that or really quick.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
I got some reinforcement of what Tom Holman told Sheriff
Reames yesterday by somebody who would know. And I think
most of our audience could get into one guess, but
I had a phone conversation and they're coming. Ice is
coming for Colorado. Now the quote you might have seen
this from Steven Miller about I want you at the
seven eleven's, I want you at the home depots.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
That's happening. That's happening, and it's going to happen right
here in Colorado.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
It's a very very unfortunate story that we have the overstays.
And we usually saw this in schools, you know, where
you get a college visa to come over here and
stay and then you just kind of But now we're
getting to see families and just like this one, he

(15:26):
basically delayed his attack for a year so he could
see his daughter graduate from a p.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
A family man. No less uh huh.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
I am just I am overwhelmed and disgusted by the
whole thing.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
I got a real fresh update here.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
This from Secretary Christy Nome, of course, secretary of the
US Department of Homeland Security, succeeding the atrocious Alejandro Majorcis.
This is what she had to say about the terrorist
suspect in Boulder.

Speaker 7 (15:57):
Hi. Everyone, I'm Homeland Security Secretary Christie. Today the Department
of Homeland Security and ICE are taking the family a
suspected Boulder, Colorado terrorist and illegal alien, Mohammed Solomon, into
ICE custody. Now, Mohammed's despicable actions will be prosecuted to
the fullest extent of the law. But we're also investigating

(16:18):
to what extent his family knew about this horrific attack,
if they had any knowledge of it, or if they
provided support to it. I am continuing to pray for
the victims of this attack and for all of their families.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Our thoughts and our prayers go.

Speaker 7 (16:33):
Out to all of them, and I want them to
know that justice will be served.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
I want to take it back one step from where
Secretary Nome did right there?

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Are they here illegally?

Speaker 1 (16:43):
I'm going to bet my bottom dollar they are, because
why would he be here illegally? He is, he's overstaying
a visa Egyptian national, But the rest of his families
here legally not buying it. That's not my thought as
a detective, coming right out of the chute, Each and
every one of them here illegally gt to the We're
done with it.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
We are done with it. I don't care I have.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
My heart does not break, my heart does not bleed,
unlike I hear this. I'm sorry, but from Ross Kaminski,
from dan kaplis. So if their only crime is they're
here illegally, get out. We're done with it. What happened
in Boulder, the shooting in Washington, d C. The anti
Semitic rage across this country, Illegal aliens creating chaos for everybody,

(17:27):
undermining our economy.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
It remains the fact.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
That's sixty three percent in a CBS poll and I
think fifty seven percent.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Still in a subsequent NBC poll.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
These are not right leaning poles favor the mass deportation
of all illegal aliens, every one of them. If you
came here illegally. You probably came here illegally for a reason.
If you had a good reason to be here, you
would have come here legally. So I am not going
to cry any tears, crocodile or otherwise for this madman's family,

(18:00):
whether they knew anything or not. I understand Secretary No
has to investigate that, but hey, here's here's the past
fail on the float chart.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Are you here illegally? Yes? Bye? Kick them, pump them
to the border.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
And this an incident like this, all it's going to
do is further inflame the tensions in this country and
push people not just like me, but I'm talking about
people in the middle like well you know the ones
I just talked about, Well, they're only here, No, get
them all out. And this maniac dufists all he has
done is push more people toward the Trump side of this,

(18:33):
toward the Tom Holman side of this, toward the Stephen
Miller side of this.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
We're sick of it.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
You don't have a right to be here if you're
not an American citizen, and especially if you have no plans,
no legal pathway to becoming an American citizen, no intention
of becoming an American citizen. Then guess what. We don't
want you here. We don't want you here. Bye bye.
Kelly's given them bye bye signal. That also means we've

(18:59):
got to go to break because right there, thirty seconds
you heard the music.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
I don't run this place. I'm just one of the
clowns in the circus. Lon Kelly could share, I'm Ryan Schooling.
We got a jam pack show. Still ahead.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Representative Jeff crank A scheduled to join us from the
fifth Congressional District. Looking forward to that conversation that is
coming up next. Also still to come, Danielle Jerinski, Aurora
City Council. You will not want to miss this top
of Hour number two. Ryan Schooling Live back with a
Vengeance on this Tuesday here on six thirty k hount.

Speaker 8 (19:33):
Well, we all need to stand up and loudly and
strongly condemn this surge of anti Semitism. The Anti Defamation
leg is reporting close to a fourfold increase in anti
Semitic attacks and incidents around the country. This is real,
it's growing, it's deeply disturbing, and it's time that America,
everybody stand up across America and condemn it and to

(19:54):
say it's intolerable.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
That's number one.

Speaker 8 (19:56):
Number two was clear here is that this gentleman tried
to this attacker tried to purchase a firearm and he
was denied.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
So background checks do actually work.

Speaker 8 (20:09):
And we're glad that in Colorado we have background check
systems in place that actually prevent incidents like this. And then,
you know, our heart goes out to the victims. You know,
Colorado has borne a disproportionate burden of shootings and attacks
and incidents like this, and we're all going to come
around the Boulder community and the Jewish community in Colorado
and provide whatever support is necessary at this.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Time, this shallow, pedantic, mundane dim wit.

Speaker 9 (20:38):
How did anybody where I live, where Kelly lives in
the sixth Congressional District vote for that clown Representative Jason
Crow over John Fabricatory?

Speaker 1 (20:49):
Does he understand what he just said? I know the
answer to that is rhetorical. No, he does not. But
whether it's him or Dan Goldman, I don't know who
the dimmer bulb in Congress is. Does he realize what
he just said? Let's bring on from the fifth Congressional
District the subject of the theme song coming in from
colt Ford, Crank it up. Representative Jeff Crank joins us
on Ryan Schuling Live. Representative Crank Now, Representative Crow, your colleague,

(21:13):
your counterpart from the state of Colorado, tells us, Hey,
background checks work when it comes to guns, why not
when it comes to illegal aliens crossing the border?

Speaker 10 (21:25):
Ryan, thanks for having me. It's great to be with you. Yeah,
you know, it is amazing. That's what he got out
of this is the background checks on firearms work. How
about when illegal immigrants apply for firearm, to buy a
firearm in the United States, and we find out they're illegal,
how about we deport them. That'd be a good idea,

(21:49):
wouldn't it. I mean, it is crazy. You know what
some on the left are trying to do to justify this.
I want to talk about guns in an attack where
a gun wasn't used.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
It's amazing this kind of details off the point you
just made. I'm so glad you made it. As you
can tell. Representive Jeff Crank used to do this very job.
He was a radio talk show host and now he's
in Congress, and we're glad for it. But here's mar
from Representative Jason Crow and he's telling us, look, a
visa overstay, that's what happened with this Egyptian national.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Has nothing to do with the border, are you talking about.

Speaker 8 (22:18):
Well, President Trump routinely just attacks his opponents when terrible
things happen, and that's not leadership. That's not that type
of leadership that the president needs. Of course, we need answers.
We need answers about the visa overstay, and a visa
overstay is not has nothing to do with the border.
You know, I believe in border security. We need border security,
but in this incident, it doesn't look like that is

(22:38):
what is at play here at all. And we need
to enforce the laws, there's no doubt about it. But
President Trump has been president for nearly six months now,
and I want to know why an attack that had
been planned for the entirety of that time was missed.
You know, what should have been seen? What were the
warning signals, What did the FBI know? What did the
FBI didn't know? We do need some answers to all

(23:01):
of these questions.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
I don't even know where to start there, Jeff. But
the audacity to say in six months president Trump dropped
the ball.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
What about the.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Four years of President Biden letting eleven to twenty million
illegals in Yeah, that.

Speaker 10 (23:15):
Is outrageous and I frankly hadn't heard those comments before.
But you know, to try and play Donald Trump for this,
give me a break. First of all, this guy came
in in August of twenty twenty two. Who was president then, Ryan,
I think it was Joe Biden. Yep, you know his

(23:35):
visa expired in February twenty three, And who was president
then that too? Well, we think it was Joe Biden.
It might have been the Auto pin, but we thought
it was Joe Biden, right, So why from then until
this week of this last Friday did they not find
this guy and get him out of the country, right

(23:58):
Because they didn't care. They didn't care about him, and
they didn't care about ten or fifteen or how are
many other million people came to the United States because
they cared more about pandemonium and having people come here
to vote for them than they did about the safety
of the American people. And that's just obvious.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Representative Jeff Crank filth Congressional District down there and the
Springs joining us appreciate his time and a great post
here and I want to follow up on this with you.
Jeff directly said accused Boulder terrorists allegedly planned his attack
for a year and was blocked from buying a gun
in twenty four because he was an illegal alien. This
would mean the Biden, FBI, the Polis CBI were on notice.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Hard to say he wasn't on anybody's radar.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Representative Crank, I just I cannot renp my head around
what you just said a couple of moments ago, which
is that should have triggered in a background check in
immediate response of Hey, this guy's in the country illegally,
get him.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
The hell out.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Why is it Colorado is so obstinate that they might
provide cover for a guy likes this. It backfires on them.
And and Jared Poulus tries to tell us with a
straight face that had nothing to do with the law
that he just passed, further entrenching Colorado as a sanctuary state.

Speaker 10 (25:10):
Yeah, it's it's so crazy if you think about it,
because you know, Ryan, you purchased a firearm. I've purchased
many you go through and it'd asked you are you
a citizen of the United States? Right? And he had
to answer. He either lied on that or he answered
it properly, and the government knew that he didn't. He

(25:32):
was denied because he wasn't a citizen. So they knew
he wasn't a citizen. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation under
Jared Polus and the FBI under who Donald Trump, no
under the Auto pin under Joe Biden, Right, they knew
that this guy was not here legally and was trying
to buy a gun. Ryan. That's the thing. This wasn't

(25:54):
just a guy here to be a farm worker, like
they always claim that every person who comes here illegally
it's just coming here, you know, to be a farmworker.
This guy was trying to buy a firearm as a
foreign national so that you could do bad things to
the American people, and they didn't care enough to get
him out of this country.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
This goes to the next point, and Tom Holman appeared
with Sheriff Steve Raims yesterday, who was filling in for
Dan Kaplis about the flash point now that Colorado has
become between this and the incident with vehicular homicide involving
a fifteen year old illegal alien in Aurora that killed
a twenty four year old young woman named Caitlin Weaver,

(26:38):
and Tom Holman says they're honing in on Colorado.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
Were blood his own with sanctuary state, So you didn't
expect the big shriff right there in Colorado. But you
guys like you know yourself, you've got a good sheriff's day.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
I get a few.

Speaker 4 (26:52):
But you know Denver, you know we're gonna be all
over Denver, Denver, and we know this is a huge
daily alien popularson there, Marie, as we had the Mariosuias
and the President Trump Keis has promised American people, I'm
running the base deportation outreas this country I've ever.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Seen Representative Craig.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
I've kind of followed your career too, and I think
you followed a similar path as me on this issue.
Now I'm the son of an immigrant, but these types
of incidents and the Democrats behavior torented, They're rampant negligence
on this front has pushed me.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
To the right.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
And I have to imagine there are a lot of
maybe undecided, independent, malleable moderate voters out there who are
watching this in disgust happen in Boulder on Sunday. It
shouldn't have happened. The guy shouldn't have been in our country.
And the entire country is moving right on this issue.
Do I have that correct? Well, you do.

Speaker 10 (27:40):
And that's what happened in this last election. That's what
happened in November.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
We saw it play out.

Speaker 10 (27:44):
Immigration and border security was the number one issue across
the country. And frankly, let's be honest, it is that
in the economy. But I really think the immigration issue
is what propelled President Trump to victory, and it propelled
a lot of US as Republic to victory as well.
And we have to do what we said we were
going to do, and that is to secure the border

(28:07):
and to fix this broken immigration system. And you know what,
Jason Crow is right about one thing. So count that
he's right about one thing. It isn't just border security.
It isn't just the border. It isn't just that they
failed on the border. It's that they failed to uphold
an immigration system that gets you out of here when

(28:27):
your time is up. Right, they have failed on every
front when it comes to immigration. The Bias administration did
They thought they were cute, They thought it was so
cute to open the borders. They did it the day
they took office, and they laughed and thought it was great.
And we need to hold them accountable Ryan for their actions,
because their actions are costing.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
Lives the America people.

Speaker 10 (28:49):
We looked at Colorado. You know, this guy's visa expired
in February of twenty three, and in July of twenty fourth,
the state of Colorado issued him a sanctuary, passed a
driver's license. He wasn't even legal to be in the
United States, and we gave him a driver's license so
that he could drive in Colorado or any other state

(29:10):
in the country.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
It's insanity, and that's happening right here. We are ground
zero for a lot of this right here in Colorado.
And thank god we have Representative Jeff Crank among four
Republicans standing up for us in Congress. One final note,
Representative Crank, I know you like the football analogy and
I do too, of getting that football down the field
and getting it across the goal line.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
When it comes to the big beautiful bill, it passed through.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
The House had some encouraging words from Senate Majority Leader
John Thune on this subject as well. They're going to
mark it up, they're going to make some changes, they're
going to send it back to you guys, and he's
saying that should happen by the fourth of July, about
a month from now. Are you optimistic one that will
happen on that timeline, and two that the revised version
coming back to you and the House will still have
some teeth to it, and that you'll be able to

(29:52):
get it to President Trump's desk for his signature to
help the American people.

Speaker 10 (29:57):
I do, Ryan, I do have some faith in it.
You know, It's funny. As we've gone through this process,
I can't tell you the times that people said it's
not going to pass. There's no way they're going to
get this bill through. I've heard it on the House
four I've heard it in the halls of Congress, and
every time it seems that the Speaker has done a
good job of kind of shepherding this thing through and

(30:18):
getting it through with one or two votes. The President
will have to be heavily involved to get this thing done.
He has been, and I think that's going to at
the end of the day, that's what's going to get
this thing across the finish line. We have to get
this done. What this is, the entire agenda that we
were elected on is wrapped up essentially into this bill.

(30:39):
If this fails, what do we do We all go
back and say, well, we tried. I mean, we have
to get done what we told the American people we
were going to get done and.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Get it done for Colorado, and that's what he's doing.
Follow him on exit. Rep.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
Jeff Crank representing the fifth Congressional District right here in Colorado.
Jeff always thankful for your time and your insights. Thanks
so much for joining us today.

Speaker 10 (31:00):
Thanks for having me. Ryan, appreciate you all.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Right, Representative Jeff Crank, your response, your reaction five seven, seven,
three nine, Send those texts along. We'll get to those
to finish out our number one of Ryan schuling live
after these words.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
For the Trump rustigate thing.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
To me, this the amount of damage done to the
country's psyche and the fact that it's never grouped in
with any conspiratorial thinking and that it is never mentioned
alongside other types of conspiracies. The fact that it was

(31:36):
then it was dropped by the media. They never bring
it up anymore, They never even mentioned it.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
But we do that with everything.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
Well for sure, but this was calling the president of
the United States an asset of a foreign power and
that he had.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Possibly been recruited in the eighties.

Speaker 6 (31:54):
Like these articles were so salacious in conspiratorial.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Think about this. Tim Dillon, he's a sharp guy, he's
a funny guy. He's a comedian, that's what he does.
But he went on with Chris Cuomo, intellectual lightweight that
Cuomo is, and schooled him on the whole notion issue
topic of Russia collusion, Steele dossier.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
He had his facts in order and Cuomo tries to
dismiss them.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Well, the media is always like that, no, no, no, no, Chris,
come on, buddy, pal, you helped carry the water for
that Russia collusion narrative on CNN with your bro Don Lemon.
Don Lemon, as Tucker Carlson calls him. And you wonder
why comedians like Tim Dillon, like Shane Gellis Beautiful Dogs.
If you haven't seen it, watch it. One of the

(32:39):
most hilarious endings to a stand up special I've ever seen,
where he talks about Donald Trump delivering the address about
killing Albakar elbeg Dotti.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
It's phenomenal.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
So anyway, this whole thing I edited, h there's like
five clips I just played you the one because the
rest will numb your brain, and you'd be like, Ryan,
why did you give me an ice cream headache? And
I'll be I'm sorry. I had to do it, because look,
I can't bear the brunt of all of this for
all of us. I can't do it alone. I need
you and I need Kelly five seven seven three nine.
Patty says, I hate to be petty. I love you

(33:16):
being petty, Patty. Patty's being petty. We want more of it,
Petty Patty. But how is it that between Crow and Bennett,
Colorado has a high percentage of elected officials that sound
like cartoon characters.

Speaker 5 (33:29):
Oh, they got nothing on California.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
I don't know about that, and I certainly don't know
about that when it comes to our laws here in Colorado.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
Now excuse me, we have shift swallowell.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Oh yeah, the individuals.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Here's some Patrick Bateman himself from American Psychic exactly. Come on,
you ever heard of Huey Lewis in the news sports.
I gotta go back and watch that movie.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
It's so twisted. I love it.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Ryan, absolutely agree with you regarding illegal invaders. Send them home, folks.
I've been pushed to the right on this.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
I'm done.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
I have zero tolerance left and I tell you as
that as well. It would be my guests coming up
in the next hour. This is must listen. I want
you to get your popcorn ready. Hear me out right now,
hear me now, believe me later, Okay? Do the Hans
and Franz Arnold Schwarzenegger's style. Do you have enough time
if you're listening to this in real time between right
now about fifty five minutes after the hour and when
I come back at five after the hour, ten minutes

(34:19):
plenty of time. Don't overcook the popcorn, but'll get your
popcorn ready. Because Danielle Jorinsky, Aurora City Council, this is
must listen radio. You're gonna want to hear it. More
of your text as well. At five seven, seven, three nine,
we're only halfway through. It's halftime, but you only get
a ten minute break. I'll pause, but I'm coming back
right here. And Ryan Schuling Life
