Esquire has named two Denver-area restaurants among their 33 best new establishments in the country for 2025 - Alteño and Kizaki. The reviews for the two venues reminds Ryan of a classic SNL sketch featuring Chris Farley and Adam Sandler referring to Zagat's for potential dining options.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Still plenty to get to. Here our two of Ryan
Schuling live on this Tuesday, the second day of December
twenty twenty five, Shannon Scott alongside. That's the Detroit connection
re established. We need better synergy if we're going to
get the Lions back on the winning track like the
Broncos have been. What a game that was on Sunday night.
I stayed up late into the night in the Eastern

(00:21):
time zone watching the whole darn thing right up until
the two point conversion that failed for the Washington Commanders
and sent the Broncos onto yet another victory. It's nine
in a row. I've got the count right. They're ten
and two, like the correct driving position on your steering wheel.
The record for the Broncos as they are battling the

(00:41):
New England Patriots for the number one seed in the AFC,
think about that for a moment. Mike Vrabel, what a
job he has done is head coach there for the Patriots,
getting that back into the stratosphere where they used to
be under Bill Belichick and then Sean Payton. He's got
to be a candidate Coach of the Year. I think
it'll probably come down to Vrabel though the Patriot's and

(01:02):
for me very bitter sweet and mostly bitter. Ben Johnson,
offensive coordinator for the Lions, turned head coach for dub Bears,
And as it stands right now, your Chicago Bears are
the number one seed in the NFC, better than Hurricane Ditka,
but barely. I can't. I can't. Lions are out of

(01:24):
the playoffs as it stands right now, after being the
number one seed at fifteen to two a year ago.
I'm bumming. I am bumming. I'm still wearing Lions gear.
Though Shannon will attest to this, I'm a true fan.
I'm not a Johnny come Lately. I'm not a fair
weather fan over here. I've been suffering with the Lions
back to Billy Simms in the early eighties, and even
Shannon remembers him and that in those years. Oh, the

(01:47):
same old Lions. They've been rearing their ugly heads so
far this season. I digress into football. I know five seven, seven,
three nine. The text line to chime on in Jimmy
Sangenberg coming up in just a few minutes. He's working
on a news story and this involves the Douglas County
school Board and his latest entitled new Doug Cooe school

(02:09):
Board is off to a bad start, and he'll explain
why coming up in mere moments. Also got a couple
of highly rated restaurants here in the Denver Metro. We'll
get to that because it reminded me. It's going to
shock you of an all time great SNL sketch with
Chris Farley and Adam Sandler, where Chris Farley plays the

(02:31):
wife and she's reading reviews out of the Zaggat book.
We'll get to that at the bottom of the hour.
Been checking in with Tom Mustin. He is one of
the Public Information Officers comm's directors, whatever you want to
call him. He's a catchall used to be a reporter
here at KOA for the twenty third District Attorney's Office

(02:51):
in George Brockler and g. Brock is saying, Hey, Sheriff
Darren Weekley deserves the credit for this one, and that's
cracking that case. The cold case from nineteen seven, a
murder by a serial killer, finally unveiled with new DNA
evidence turning up on a paper bag of all things.
So we've reached out to Debora Takahara, the PIO Public

(03:12):
Information officer for the Sheriff's office there in Douglas County.
We hope to have the sheriff on either later today
or perhaps tomorrow to talk more about that. Getting your
text five seven seven thirty nine, Texter, I will need
some frame of reference for this. Good news, says this Texter.
Snap is going to be shut down by Trump because
of the fraud the state is allowing to happen. Let
them get jobs. Are you talking about Colorado or the

(03:34):
Minnesota fraud that we've been talking about, because yeah, I'd
be all for it for Minnesota. We'll see what happens here.
I don't know this one, said Dan. Tell Ryan to
get some rest. I did. I slept like a log
last night after a whirlwind. I was on an early
morning flight out of Detroit coming here. Christian Toto, the
good Man, picked me up, dropped me off, got in. Yeah,

(03:56):
I'm back in here doing a show time change all that.
I don't know what hit me. Speaking of hits, that's
what this person says. Yesterday's guest was up to, and
that was Sherry BYORKLND. She attended a town hall in
Grand Junction where Victor Marx was speaking and confronted him
on the issue of abortion, and I pointed out that

(04:18):
Victor Marx was correct that that had been adjudicated by
the voters of Colorado in Amendment seventy nine, and he
mentioned that in passing in a very limited fashion. But
there were people that were misinformed at the event, that
were not buying what he was selling because he was
short on specifics, and he should have had that down
to a science in his position, like there was Amendment
seventy nine. It was voted in by a sixty eight

(04:40):
to thirty two margin. I don't like it any more
than you do. I'll do whatever I can in my
power as governor to help save as many babies lives
as I can, to work with private charities to give
mothers the assistance they need both during a pregnancy and
after to make life a realistic and viable option rather
than death, rather than abortion being a form of birth

(05:03):
control or an easier way out. There's a way to
articulate that, and there was a way to do that
without losing his temper. But I felt like he did
lose his temper and he got a little nasty with her,
and I don't think that was a good Look, that's
just my opinion. You could disagree, and you can express
that at five seven seven three nine. Ryan, it was

(05:24):
on the ballot, that's ryd Amendment seventy nine. It sure was.
This Texter says, I question a gubernatorial candidate that treats
constituents this way, Lord help us all. What world are
we living in? Something is definitely off with him. Another
contrarian text to Victor Marx's candidacy with this one says,
please stop giving this guy air. He is a nut job.

(05:45):
There is no way he should represent Republicans in the
gubernatorial race. Well, we are trying to do what a
primary should do, and what people in my position should
be doing, and really what people in any position in
politics the Colorado Republican Party. You as listen. You want
to have a discerning eye, and you have to properly
vet somebody, and you have to ask tough questions when

(06:07):
there are gray areas about a person's background, experience, and
that needs to be fleshed out. That is the whole
point and purpose of a primary. Ryan, she is fundamentally
wrong by saying that he has a pro choice stance.
There is nothing he can do about it other than
promote life. People are idiotic if they think that a
governor can just go in and ignore a state constitution.

(06:28):
You are very correct, Texter and me from a pragmatic standpoint.
While I may agree with the women at this town
hall that it was a horrible thing that happened, Victor
Marx had nothing to do with it, and as governor,
no matter how much he might want to change it,
there isn't a whole lot he can do to just
circumvent the state constitution. And we wouldn't want that done either.

(06:49):
Shoe on the other foot, if we had enshrined some protections,
let's say, for the Second Amendment, we wouldn't want those
encroached upon by some Democrat governor coming in and willy
nilly just siding by FIAT that he or she was
just going to ignore it. Ryan, please ask her what
she would want Victor Marx to do regarding abortion in Colorado.

(07:09):
The good news text is I asked her that exact question,
and you can go back and hear our conversation on
the Ryan Schruling Live podcast, which you can find on
your favorite platform. Again, the voters here saying that they
voted into the constitution Victor Marx can't take it out correct.
They can put it on the ballot again, but we
still have to go buy what is voted on the ballot.

(07:30):
So why waste time with that? I think he was
telling people he would do everything he could to show
there are different choices for the pro life people, i e.
Promoting pro life choices. But of course you're not going
to go with that because you're so pro Hollywood. I'm
pro Hollywood. I'm not pro Hollywood. I hold up a
very finely tuned lens to Hollywood every Friday with Christian
Toto and Debrah Flora cheap plug right side of Hollywood.

(07:53):
I am not pro Hollywood. You got the wrong guy there,
unless I'm reading your text incorrectly.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
There.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
And then finally this one Ryan on Victor Mark something
smells rotten in Denmark. I think that's from a Shakespearean play.
I'm a lifelong Republican voter. There's got to be someone
better the Colorado Republicans can put forward. There are way
too many holes in his story, his history, and his answers.
We need to figure these things out now, or the
left certainly will during the election. That's my point. If

(08:22):
our candidate gets as far as the nomination and then
gets absolutely pummeled and skewered by the likes of Comrade
Kyle and the mainstream media, which of course lean's left
in this state, the Democratic machine, the Michael Bennett machine.
They are going to dig, they're going to find, they're
going to exploit, and so don't shoot the messenger. Here
yours truly whatever is out there about Victor Marx. He's

(08:44):
even got a portion of his website now debunking some
of what he considers to be rumoring, yuendo, mischaracterizations of
his record. But the simple fact of the matter is
there's a lot of information out there that is pretty wild,
and some of it that he has put out there himself.
It's pretty wild. And he needs to calm people's concerns

(09:05):
about him and his candidacy, to give them comfort, to
give them a reassurance, to show that he has a
steady hand. And that is my biggest concern about Victor
Marx at this point. He seems a little bit combustible.
And when he starts breaking down in a town hall
with a constituent, a woman who is pro life, how
is he going to handle on the stage with an

(09:26):
adversarial member of the media, or an opponent in a primary,
not just a Republican one, but if he is the nominee,
somebody like Michael Bennett or Phil Wiser. I'm just saying
he's got to come correct. He's got to be well
versed on the issues. He's got to school himself up
on this. There's no excuse for otherwise. You can't just
throw your hat in the ring, pretend you're not a politician.
You don't have any answers. You're just going to surround

(09:47):
yourself with the best people and figure it out as
you go along. Not good enough, not blanking good enough,
Not in this state, not when a Republican already has
an uphill climb to get elected at all. You have
got a come correct. You're in the arena. You are
a politician. You entered the race. That happened. Nobody forced
you to do that. But you're in it now, so

(10:09):
you got to start acting like it. That's my analysis
to this point. Five seven, seven, three nine. We turn
now our lonely eyes and ears to Jimmy Sangenberger. His
latest for The Gazette, entitled New Dougco. School Board is
off to a bad start and you can find that
online at the Gazette. Jimmy Sangenberger our guest here on RSL. Jimmy,

(10:30):
welcome back.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Hey Ryan, how are you doing, brother?

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Well, I know we took a bath in the Doug
Co school board race, and that was not the only
one across the state of Colorado where conservatives were ousted.
That certainly happened here, but apparently there was there were
some shenanigans on the way out here on switching up.
What's going on here?

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Yeah, in just a little while, the Douglas County School
Board will be meeting for what was supposed to be
the transition meeting, you know, when the school board that
is outgoing gets together and those members who are no
longer on the board, who, by the way, the conservative majority,
the four who were there, decided not to run for reelection.

(11:10):
So these are not the candidates who lost in the race,
because all four of them said, you know what, we're
kind of done with this, so we are not going
to run for reelection. But they were still on the board. Well,
what happened last week is apparently there is a provision
in state law when it comes to school board swearing in.

(11:33):
And I'm not sure about any other positions. I've never
heard of this, the fact, until last week, I never
knew that this could be done, where if you are elected,
within ten days of certification of the results, you can
go to a notary and have them notarize a statement

(11:53):
from you where you're basically affirming your oath of office
and you are now the school board member. And that
is what happened last week with three of the four
outgoing school board members who then were instantly replaced without
having any knowledge that that was happening, particularly in the
case of the first one last Tuesday, Becky Myers, who

(12:16):
found out from an email informing officials at the district. Hey,
this happened, Tony Ryan. I'm Tony Ryan, and I'm now
the school board member. Here's my AFFI David, And so
all four, well, those three school board members were kicked
off the board and could not be in to participate
in tonight's meeting, which is pretty shady.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Yeah. At Saying Centers where you can follow him on
acts seng Center, Cen t Eer, Jimmy Segenberger, our guest.
This from your post on X as well, Jimmy. A
couple of quotes Cloak of darkness, super aggressive move, and
this quote to Williams, the message was unmistakable. Director Meek
orchestrated up plan to manipulate an agenda she had agreed

(13:02):
upon previously. When she couldn't get her way, she resorted
to threats. So my question here would be, what's the rush.
Why not just to wait for tonight's meeting, have it
be an orderly transition, show that degree of decorum, and
then move forward with the agenda as you would like.
Why did they have to rush this?

Speaker 3 (13:21):
That's a big question. So in the case of removing
Becky Myers, that meant that the Liberals would get the majority.
So last Tuesday, when this happened, all they needed was
one more vote, And there were rumors going around, particularly
because that Vance Colorado Action was pushing this, that there
could be a revote on some stuff to do with

(13:43):
charter schools school renewals in the district, which my understanding
is there wasn't enough time. It wouldn't have been practical
with Thanksgiving and everything for that to happen anyway, But
maybe in the abundance of caution, they decided, well, we're
going to pull this stunt and get the majority. So
that couldn't happen. But then on Friday, the president of

(14:08):
the school board, Christy Williams, got a text from incumbent
Liberal member Susan Meek, specifically saying that if she didn't
add something, the president of the board, Christy Williams, if
Christy didn't add something to the agenda to reverse, begin
the process of reversing and opt in for a survey

(14:30):
healthy kid survey that asked all kinds of intrusive questions,
and the conservative majority said, we're not going to let
this be automatic and opt out. We're going to have
parents opt in to this intrusive survey. Susan Meek said,
you will be replaced as well, and Kaylee Weininger too
if this doesn't happen the way that I want it

(14:52):
and lo and behold. Within a matter of hours, two
of the other school board members, Weininger and Williams, were
informed that it had in fact happened and they were gone.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Well, elections have consequences, and Douglas County is one of
those that we keep a close eye on because it
seems to serve as a bellwether for the rest of
the state. As we also saw with the Aurora City
Council and the shift to the left there Danielle Jorinsky
losing her seat. But this could be just the tip
of the iceberg. Jimmy, you talk about that they're off
to a bad start with the doug Cooe School Board

(15:22):
and where it might go from here. What might be
the consequences of the board now turning to liberal hands
in control.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
I think you will see a slew of policies reversed
to do with the notion of equity, and perhaps on
this healthy Kid survey that they wanted to guarantee that
parents would opt in their kids instead of being told, oh, well,
you can opt out if you're aware that this is happening.
I also think that there's a really good chance that

(15:53):
the new seven member liberal majority might try to reunionize
the district. Doug co has not had a collective bargaining
agreement with the teachers union, which by the way, has
like twenty percent if even of their district is in
the teachers' union in the first place, in dougco and
I think that there may be an effort to get

(16:14):
an agreement a collective bargaining going again and the unionized
the district for the first time since twenty twelve.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Jimmy Sangenberger. You can find him at sang Center, Senng's
cen ter on X and his latest op ed and
reporting in the Denver Gazette. New Doug Cooe school board
is off to a bad start. I guess we shouldn't
be surprised, Jimmy, No.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Way, Jose, brother, it's gonna get worse from here.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Just a tide for Christmas. Thanks for ruining Christmas, Jimmy,
thanks brother. All right, Jimmy Segenberger right there, five seven
seventy three nine is where you can send your text
this one following up on the snap tex same text.
I can tell by the number. Colorado is one of
the states to be shut down from today's meeting. Colorado
refuses to provide the names of all the cheats here.

(17:04):
The end is going to be wonderful, and then continuing
on and end. Dual citizenship becoming a citizen through marriage
maryan American is a wonderful move. No more half American
children either. Well, okay, thanks for that update from the
Texter there. We'll take this time out. When we come back,
we'll get to these highly rated restaurants in the Denver
Metro Have you been to either one. I'll be asking

(17:25):
that question and getting two more of your text at
five seven seventy three nine. Again a quick note Sheriff
Steve Raams filling in for Dan Kaplis. Stay tuned for that.
At the top of the hour. Down the stretch we
go Shannon Scott alongside Ryan schuling with you. The Detroit
connection re established. It feels so good. Sheriff Steve Raams

(17:45):
top of the hour. You won't want to miss that.
He's got a lot of conversations interviews coming up, and
my conversation with Jimmy Segenberger prompting this text. I get it, Ryan,
it's kind of disheartening what I just heard about Douglas County.
I have assumed to be eight year old special needs
kid and we are moving down there. If school board
members are willing to screw each other over, it makes

(18:06):
me worry about what they're going to do to the
kids U and me both. And there are fewer and
fewer places of refuge I would recommend from a public
school standpoint in Colorado, we've heard about the controversy with
the Elizabeth Public schools. Now, I like Elizabeth a lot.
Not just my sister named Elizabeth. I'm talking about the town,
the people that are in charge there, but they have

(18:28):
been taken a task and taking to court about not
allowing inappropriate books in the public school library, you know,
containing themes on sexuality, transing, etc. Is just these types
want to prey upon our children. It's just not appropriate.
Why are you doing this? Why do you feel compelled

(18:48):
to do that? This is what I can't get my
head around, not at all, and it shouldn't be acceptable anywhere.
But they're even infiltrating, As I said, a place like
Elizabeth that should be relatively friendly to our types. Politically,
I would strongly recommend Weld County, but I mean, if
you're moving to doug Kell, you're hoping. And that used
to be a pretty strong bastion of conservatism in a
red county, but it is getting more purple and era

(19:11):
a Rappaho where I live used to be purple. That's gone.
It's blue. Cherry Creek Schools is a disaster area. It's disheartening. Yes,
I don't know if this is disheartening, but this was
just sent to me from the wonderful world of Victor Marx.
It was a post. It looks like it was on Instagram,

(19:32):
says Victor Marx for governor, and it's entitled good Morning
Colorado with a lot of o's in both the good
for Morning and the Colorado and Victor is standing outside
of a truck. It's a pickup trucks remarkably similar. I'm
not sure if it's the same one that he commandeered
from the guy who tried to kill him. This is
his own story, and we went over this on our

(19:53):
Who Is Victor Marx episode, which again he conveniently left
out of that three minute post to Instagram. It's still,
by the way, the real the video that I'm talking
about that I broke down. The detail that he left
out though, was the vehicle belonged to wait for it
his brother in law, which seems to me to be
a very pertinent part of the story if you're going

(20:14):
to share it at all, And that would be my
question to it would be part one. You posted this video, Okay,
why did you leave out the part where it was
your brother in law's vehicle. Well, I didn't want to
get into that. He kind of said that when he
was on with Sheriff Steve Reeen. We didn't want to
talk about then why post the video at all? Why
open that door? Why open that Pandora's box? You know

(20:36):
the questions coming, because the other one would have been,
why are you driving a vehicle for which it is
registered to another person? And you got pulled over and
then you posted that? Are you advocating that everybody in
the state of Colorado should feel free to drive about
in a vehicle that is registered to somebody else? Do
you understand the precedent? Your said, Well, here's this video,

(20:58):
and a lot of it's just audio driven, so I
don't even know. I'm just gonna play it because apparently
the person who sent this to me said that it
has since been taken down. But let's see, I'll try
to describe in a real time if it's just music too. Okay,
he's standing there and a jacket. It's pretty cold snow.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
It's feeling.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Bagpipes.

Speaker 5 (21:23):
It's to be my first day in office, walking into
the chambers to concentrated. Back to gun.

Speaker 6 (21:34):
He's walking, he's strapping, he's got a gun, kind of
doing like a trump dance there a little bit.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Okay, now he's just talking about his first day. Potentially
enough I don't see anything wrong with that video. He's
just standing there and bagbell love bagpipes. But uh, apparently
I don't know. I take that down. It's fine by
seven seven three nine. You can send those texts along.
Promise this, we'll go to deliver on it. This from KATVR,
Fox thirty one, Maddie Rhodes. These Denver restaurants are considered

(22:16):
the best new restaurants in America according to Esquire. Two
Denver restaurants considered some of the best new restaurants in
the country. According to that popular lifestyle magazine, Eschoire released
its annual list of the best New Restaurants in America
in twenty twenty five, which measures the best in the
country using the five seas comfort, creativity, cool, community, and cooking.

(22:40):
Which where does Shannon go to get all five of
those Golden Corral? Baby, If there was ever going to
be somebody that was going to offer up an endorsement
or voice a commercial for the Golden Corral, it's Shannon's
got anyway back to this script. In short, Esquire said,
it's a list of restaurants that they would want to
go back to that included two from the mile highest

(23:01):
out of the thirty three restaurants that made the list,
with anything from a new generation steakhouse in Miami to
a California pizza spot turned dance floor at night. Two
local restaurants made the list. Here we go Altano, and
I know that because it's the end with the Enye
have you heard of Altano, Shannon? He says no, Well

(23:21):
that might be because it's a Michelin recommended Mexican restaurant
run by Johnny Curiel, who isn't new to Denver. Chef
opened his first restaurant, the award winning Alma Fonda Fina.
Esquire said, Alma Fonda Fina was named after his mother,
and Alan pays tribute to his father. Esquire said, quote.
The restaurant is classic compestree all country, focusing on whole

(23:46):
animal butchery and cooking over fire. It feels like coming
hungry to a tavern after a day of wandering through
the mountains. The magazine specifically mentioned the Poyo a labrasas
the halipedno cornbread, and the lambshank that is quote the
lamb of God. Oh that's a little sacrilegious, Kuriel said, quote,

(24:09):
paying tribute to my dad. The original Haalisko highlander and
seeing the food that he inspired celebrated at this level
as a very emotional moment. This is such an incredible
recognition for our whole team. That's one. The other one Kizaki.
You ever heard of Kizaki, Shannon, He says no, he's
oh for two. Well, Kazaki is an authentic Japanese omakase

(24:32):
on South Pearl Street. I'm trying to say these words correctly.
Maybe I am, maybe I'm not, but I'm doing the
best that I can. Toshi Kazaki and his brother first
opened Sushi Don in eighty four. Well, I know Sushi Den.
That place is remarkable. And now at sixty nine, Esquire
said Kazaki is spending his retirement years and quotes running
quote one of the most generous and labor intensive omakase

(24:54):
menus quote. The courses keep coming in such a luxurious bombardment.
Sesame tofu that looks like a cube of Italian marble,
the finest fried scallops I've ever tasted, a hand roll
with fatty tuna and caviar. That it feels like Chef
Kazaki's way of reminding you that it's never wise to
count out the old guys, I love these reviews. Quote.

(25:16):
I've had the honor of serving Denver diners for forty years,
but it wasn't until I opened Kazaki that I felt
fully fulfilled as a chef. Kazaki is a revival of
the centuries old art of adamme sushi. With every service,
I'm sharing the beauty and simplicity of my home with guests.
I couldn't be more thankful to the support and celebration
that I've received, said Chef Toshi Kazaki. The full list

(25:39):
can be found on Esquire's website. What I just read
you though, reminds me of this Saturday Night Live sketch
from nineteen ninety five were Beverly and Hank Gelfand, played
by Chris Farley and Adam Sandler. Go through some Zaggot
recommendations for restaurants. Let's enjoy.

Speaker 7 (26:01):
Zagis with your hosts hagg and Beverly Gelfan. Hello, and
welcome to Zagetz. I'm Bev Gelfand and this is my
husband Hank.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
What do you want?

Speaker 7 (26:16):
Hank and I are celebrating our thirty fifth wedding anniversary
tonight and we're very excited. Hank and I no, we're
going out to dinner for the occasion, but we can't
decide where to go.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Do you know where you want to go?

Speaker 8 (26:29):
Hank?

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Go away? Wait, well, maybe.

Speaker 7 (26:35):
We can all find a place in our Zagats New
York Restaurant Guide.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
Let's take a look together. There, God, here we go. Oh,
here's one.

Speaker 7 (26:49):
It's called Patty's Place on Twelfth Street. There's an art
deco interior and the international cuisine that sounds like a
lot of fun.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
My father said, get married. He should rot in his grave.

Speaker 7 (27:09):
How about Mario's Restaurant. Mini pizzas and delish desserts make
this Italian eatery a must. Ravioli holy Canolei.

Speaker 8 (27:25):
Day and night.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
She talks, each word more useless than the next.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
The City Steakhouse serves the best beef in town. Their
central setting will set the mood for any romantic rendezvous.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Oh hear that?

Speaker 2 (27:44):

Speaker 8 (30:31):
We've learned that Douglas County Sheriff's Office believe a dead
serial killer was the one who killed a young mother
found in marksbur forty years ago. The Sheriff's office says
new forensic technology led them to Vincent Groves in the
nineteen eighty seven murder of thirty one year old Rohnda
Marie Fisher. Her body was discovered in a culvert over
South Perry Park Road. Officials say she had been strangled

(30:52):
and the case sat cold for decades. Douglas County sheriffs
say DNA from paper bags helped lead them to her killer,
who's link to twelve homicides in Colorado.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
Obtaining a DNA profile from paper bags nearly forty years
old is exceptionally rare. Groves is considered to be one
of Colorado's most prolific serial killers. He had a long
and violent history targeting vulnerable women between nineteen seventy eight
and nineteen eighty eight.

Speaker 8 (31:22):
WOW sheriff say Groves was also connected to sex trafficking
and drug distribution. Investigators say they tried to reach Fisher's family,
but her parents and brother both died before her case
was solved, and tragic.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
End to that because they would never hear the resolution
of the case involving their sister and daughter. But Vincent
Groves on the more prolific serial killers in Colorado history
linked to this murder, dating back to nineteen eighty seven,
and Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly will join us tomorrow
at two fifteen to talk more about it. Also, Jamie
Lisseo is coming to Comedy Work South. He'll be on

(31:57):
the program tomorrow. Your Chance to win free pass to
go see him at the Landmark in Greenwood Village. And
finally this text, Ryan Kazaki is fantastic get counter seats.
Was there a little over a month ago with my
seventeen year old son doing my best to ruin his palette. No,
you're shaping his palate for years to come, and your
seventeen year old son will be all the better for it.

(32:18):
So I got to get to Kazaki. And I also
want to check out the other Mexican restaurant on here.
I'll tan you because they're just so fun to say.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
