P.K. Steinmark-Stevinson, host of the Humanity Against Tyranny podcast, joins Ryan with her take on the Jeffrey Epstein case, files, and client list currently being stonewalled by the Trump administration.

In late June, Colorado hosted the first legal, state-regulated psilocybin retreat—a major milestone in the national mental health conversation.

With rising demand for alternatives to traditional care, psychedelic therapy is gaining momentum.
Odyssey, the company behind the first retreat in Oregon, just led Colorado’s launch—and founder Gabe Charalambides joins Ryan to discuss what this signals for the future of treatment.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
One of the strongest voices out there in the fight
for parental rights in this state of Colorado, especially in
the wake of the passage of the Horrific housepil twenty five,
thirteen twelve is Lori Gimmelstein, and her article just popped
back up on my feed from April of this year,
and so much has happened in the meantime that I
wanted her to join us here on Ryan Shuling Live

(00:22):
to get caught up with where the momentum is in
this fight now. The title of her article at Rockymountain
Voice dot com is the unraveling medical crisis that Colorado
Parents must pay attention to, and she is the founder
of the Colorado Parent Advocacy Network. You can find her
website online Coloradoparents dot org. Lorigimmelstein joins us, Lauri, Welcome.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Hi, Ryan, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
How are you pretty well? And I'm just kind of
upset with myself that I haven't caught up with you sooner.
I know that, you know, we kind of get into
these summer months and you're propelled. You're in a totally different
frame of mind, especially from when you wrote that article.
But so much has happened, and I just wanted to
kind of have you on to put a fine point
on where we stand in this fight. There have been
several court cases, including one before the Supreme Court that

(01:10):
was decided that I viewed as a massive victory for
our side and protecting children from gender mutilating care and
giving parents that voice because the state of Tennessee, it
was ruled in a six' to three, decision can enforce
a law on the books within their state parameters saying
that they have banned so called gender affirming, care hormone, therapy,

(01:32):
injections gender, reassignments, surgeries chopping off body, parts all of.
That what was your reaction to That skotis decision and
how much do you think that bolsters the cases right
now that are making their way through the. Course.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
OH i couldn't have been more pleased with the decision
in The scrimty. Case it's just we're having so many
wins THAT i think it's a really great time to
really celebrate what's happening across the, country and it's a
huge wake up call For colorado in, this you, know
di scrematic. CASE i think people need to understand what
it does is it allows states to prohibit these types

(02:10):
of treatments that have been found time and time again
to be extremely harmful to. Children and, uh you, know
we also had another big win for parental rights and
their authority to really direct their child's education with a
recent six to three decision in The mood Versus taylor.

(02:30):
Case so we're having win after. Win and another big
win here In colorado is that THE fbi is Investigating
Colorado Children's Hospital True center For Gender, Diversity so that's
that's the gender clinic here In. Colorado and also two
Other colorado childrell Not Colorado children's, hospitals but children's hospitals

(02:53):
in the, Nation boston AND la In california are also being.
Investigated and another big Win californfornia announced today The Children's
hospital IN la will be closing its doors to gender
affirming treatment On july twenty. Second so WHEN i wrote
this piece THAT i you know that resurfaced in your
thread today back In, april it was because in our

(03:15):
state we were navigating so many issues with our legislators
in The democrat legislation that was being pushed through a
bill Called House bill twenty five thirteen twelve that would
really make it legal for the state to consider a
parent's a decision to say no to gender affirming treatment

(03:38):
and procedures as coercive control or. Abuse, now there was
a Little people sometimes think it was a win that
they took that language out of thirteen, twelve but for,
me it was really a bait and. Switch they put
that language into The Colorado Anti Discrimination act Under House
build twenty five twelve thirty nine that was also into,

(04:00):
law you. Know but you, know WHEN i wrote this,
piece OBVIOUSLY i leave The Colorado Parent Advocacy network And
i'm a huge parent advocate and we're helping so many
families navigating the harms of this model that has been.
Pushed AND i really wrote, it you, know.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Just from the perspective as a mom and.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
A person who just wants people to really listen and
maybe question it is what they're saying really? True AND i.
WAS i posted it WHEN i first sent it out In,
april AND i didn't really get a lot of hits
on it On, facebook which is is always an interesting
platform to see where the culture is. Shifting but you,
KNOW i put it on my Personal facebook page last,

(04:43):
night AND i was really pleasantly surprised the number of
people willing to come forward and acknowledge it and thank
me for writing this. Piece you, know there's just so much,
evidence and what we have to realize is that reviewing
evidence is. Impasginate you, know we have so Many european
countries that pulled back after reviewing all of the. Data

(05:06):
and now we're seeing states Like tennessee path legislation banning
it and that held up At scotus and we're. Thrilled
SO i think that we're really in a great place
and people are finally. Talking we're helping four families that
are publicly, facing AND i know that you have spoken
with several of, Them cindysteine And Stuffing gonzales And Gene,

(05:30):
maine and we're grateful for their courage and standing up
and what is such an aggressive arena around us and
so many children are just being pipelined into this use
of hormones after just one or two visits and a medical.
Clinic and we have evidence where there's no full mental health,

(05:51):
evaluation no second, opinion no consideration for, autism trauma and.
Anxiety and most, IMPORTANTLY i think you need to realize.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Social influence is one of.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
The biggest contributors to children feeling like they're trapped in
the wrong.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Body.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Laurie, finally for those that want to find out more
about your organization and all the good work that you're.
Doing we know that there is a case in process
now you can't comment on, specifically but people might want to,
join people might want to. Contribute then go To coloradoparents
dot org find out more About Colorado Parent Advocacy. Network
but how would you bullet point it for those out
there that are hearing about it for the first.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Time WHAT i would say is that we are very
grateful for the support of our attorneys and we are
bringing accountability into the state Of. Colorado parents can learn
more at our website At coloradoparents dot. Org we actually
have some really great resources for, parents especially as WE'RE

(06:49):
i know it's Only, july but school you will be
starting in just about a month and parents need to
be ready to take up their authority this school. Year
so if you're looking for resources ON i want to
get out of the public school AND i want to
learn about, homeschooling OR i want to learn about charter
school or private, schools we can help you with. That
we also if you are going into a public school

(07:10):
or a public charter or a private that you're not
sure if they're pushing gender, ideology the recent decision in
My mood Versus taylor will really help. You and we
have a great opt out template on our website that
you can, download and we encourage parents to please make
a copy for their child's backpack and make sure that

(07:31):
they spend a copy of the template to every teacher
their child has and the school principle and educate your. Child,
say if you go to school and they're, talking they're
asking you for your, pronouns or they're talking to you
about sexuality or gender, fluidity you can show them this
and you can, say my parents do not want me
participating in these types of, lessons and so we just

(07:55):
have to arm ourselves with the great. Tools i'm so
excited the culture is shifting that people can always get
held at coloradoparents.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Dot org and you can follow him on Exit, Seapan.
Colorado she is the. Founder Lori. Gimmelstein will let you
get back to your summer vacationing because like you, said
the start of the school year is going to be
a heart beat away. Here so thank you for all
you do and thank you for taking the time with me.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Today oh Thanks, Brian take care all.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Right Lori gimmelstein, there and, this of course is a
cause near and dear to our hearts on this program
here as we fight for the rights of kids to
be free from these surgical interventions that are nothing more
Than frankenstein. Science joining us, now P K Stein Mark.
Stevenson she is the host Of Humanity Against, tyranny the
podcast THAT i, produce and we're gonna be recording another

(08:40):
episode right again. Tonight she's been conducting a series of fascinating,
interviews including survivors of The Aurora theater. Shooting but one
topic THAT i got to give her immense credit on
tip of the cap is she's been way ahead of the,
curve way ahead of the timeline and the news stories
About Jeffrey epstein and what was the true story. Behind

(09:00):
so we start our segment with her with this audio
clip From Benny johnson talking about a conversation he had
With Alan dershowitz on this.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Program Congresswoman Alan dershowitz said he Brought Jeffrey epstein To
israel to meet with high level government. Officials he told
me THAT i couldn't believe it when he told, me
but he, said, yeah. Totally he could have Been. Masada you,
Know Julianne maxwells.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Can't can't go To israel and meet with high level, officials,
Right so why Was Jeffrey?

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Epstein So i'm not, like, again the picture that's being
painted here is in his pretty clear picture is That
Jeffrey epstein belonged To. Intel we have an interesting little
nugget out this morning Where Data republican was able to
find that he was A cia. Agent he bragged about it,
openly and it's in print from about twenty five years.

(09:51):
Ago The Evening standard wrote up a profile Of epstein
and he is bragging about being A cia.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Agent then there's a lot of darkness surrounding this, story
and it just got darker over the. Weekend AND i
can't help but notice the. Timing, now you're not going
to meet a more Pro, zionist Pro, jewish a Pro
israel gentile than, yours. Truly SO i want to preface
all of that with, this but to say That Benjamin
Nett yahoo was making his third visit to The White

(10:17):
house On, monday and this whole news dump happened On sunday.
Night so you connect the dots from. There don't take
my word for. It let's bring IN Pk Steinn Mark
stevenson right, NOW, pk what do you make of all this.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
My research from years? Ago?

Speaker 7 (10:32):
Ryan they said he was, mussad that he was working with,
him that he was LIKE i call him the male.

Speaker 6 (10:37):
Honeypotter, okay he. Was there are these.

Speaker 7 (10:41):
Elite groups of men and women and, people you, know
this thing where you always want to be around the popular,
Guy and let's go do the.

Speaker 6 (10:47):
THING i got to get. KNOWN i got a, CLIMATE
i got a.

Speaker 7 (10:49):
Network, well he was this kind of, insidious kind of evil,
network and he caught these people and compromising positions and
nets people from all over the. World and he did
have a. List he had a black. Book BUT i
want to clarify something, Here. Ryan let's clarify the difference
between a client and a. Visitor, okay, okay so he's

(11:11):
got this, list, okay. Y, well a client is somebody
you keep serving over and. Over you're giving him your
whatever you have to. OFFER a visitor is somebody who
goes sees what's going on and they say it's not for.
Me so people like If trump's name's on the, list
Or dershowitz keeps saying he wasn't, involved they may have
gone down there because all the muckety MUCKs were. Going it's,

(11:34):
obvious and from celebrities to movie, stars to kings and, queens.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Heads of, state heads of, State Andrew Bill. Gates, well
Here's Alan dershowitz to your, point let's get a little
bit more from what he had to. Say of course
he was at ground, Zero Jeffrey epstein as his attorney
at one.

Speaker 8 (11:52):
Time we want total transparency on, this every single, document no.
Redaction that's WHAT i said from day. ONE i waive
any of my rights of. Privacy anything there is about.
Me i'm happy because it will be exculpatory BECAUSE i
KNOW i haven't touched.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
A woman other than my wife from the DAY i
Met JEFFREY. FCTE i don't even hug. People BUT i
was falsely accused.

Speaker 8 (12:14):
AND i was able to prove, it AND i was
able to prove it through, documents AND i want other
people to be able to disprove false accusations through. Documents
but these documents are being suppressed and with.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Power So i'm. Confused how do we square THIS. Pk
we Have Elan derschwitz saying, THAT i, think much to his, credit,
no get it all out, there let's be fully. Transparent
sunlight's the best. Disinfected and yet we Have, Bondi Bongino,
Patel Donald trump himself, saying, oh that's all there is to,
it there's nothing to see. Here we're not releasing any
more names or information or, documents and they get these
kind of red herrings, about, oh there's child. Pornography we

(12:46):
don't want to publicize. That we don't want to revictimize
these young. Women and the points that are being made
over these last twenty four hours are kind of what
you were. Saying there might have been people kind of
loosely affiliated on the outskirts With epstein but not involved
in the fairy activities of abusing young, girls but just
come out with that. TOO i don't understand why the one,
side The trump, administration is now doing its level best

(13:08):
to provide a smoke screen or cover it, up but
Dershi witch is, saying, no go, ahead release. It how
do you make sense of?

Speaker 7 (13:13):
That, Well i'm all for releasing the, trade getting it
all out transparency Because i've been saying this for, years
BUT i think The trump administration plays these games and,
trolls AND i think there's something here they're doing that
they're going to use this list for later. On this
list involves so many people that they're having to deal

(13:34):
with now in other, Situations Russia, gate the fraudulent, election
a lot of, stuff and they're holding onto this list
for other. Reasons and it's also WHY i don't believe
The defstein is dead because if He's, cia he's A
Mussad all.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
Of a, sudden there's a part of it missing out of.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
The wait wait, wait Doctor Michael, Bodden, right he did
the OLD hbo autops these, series there's like a WHOLE
i know. Series he performed an autopsy obstensibly On Jeffrey
upstein and determined that the method of death was not
consistent with someone hanging. Themselves, yeah he was.

Speaker 6 (14:12):
Murdered if he, did, guy he would have been, murdered
not hanging. Himself he was too much of a.

Speaker 7 (14:16):
Megalomaniac he go Se epstein was Yes epstein to kill.
Himself but the point is is if he Was mussad
and The, lane she's in.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Jail, yes she, is she's still. Alive, well here's the.
Point how is she in? Jail? Yeah why and why
is she?

Speaker 7 (14:32):
Jail he gets, Murdered if they are, guilty why are
they going through the jail.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Process that doesn't make any. Sense the only explanation that
you could thread the needle, with and it doesn't make any,
sense was that she was just running young girls for,
him him and him, alone and him exclusively and him
personally and not all these others Like Representative Marjorie Taylor
green mentions, here And i'm right and lockstep with.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
Her The department Of justice and THE fbi needs to
provide more answers Because Jeffrey.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Epstein was the is the.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Most well known pedophile and sex trafficker in modern day human.
History and he was surrounded by, rich powerful, people foreign
leaders And american.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Leaders and it's this can't go.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
Unanswered people will not accept. It it IS i, mean
think of the Fact Bill clinton was on his plane
over twenty six, times he was one of his, victims
was photoed With Prince. Andrew these people were, surrounded surrounded
themselves With Jeffrey. Epstein and when you hang out with,
somebody you know what they. Do so it's very hard

(15:36):
for people to believe that there weren't foreign leaders Or american,
leaders or, rich powerful people involved in his. Activities that's
just it's. Hard it doesn't pass the smell, tests and
it's not your people to continue to ask questions.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Doesn't pass the smell. Tests i'll provide two examples right
now as to why you can kind of draw your own.
Conclusions When George stefanoppolis said on his program several times
That Donald trump had been convicted of, Rape Donald trump
sued and won AGAINST Abc. News there is a lot
of commentary in the public sphere being reported About Bill,
clinton like you just heard right. There yet there's been

(16:12):
never a lawsuit filed By Bill clinton denying these allegations
or saying that they were. Defamatory why, not.

Speaker 7 (16:18):
Because they put themselves in a position different Than Donald.
Trump Donald trump's, here The, clinton's all the other people
are all over.

Speaker 6 (16:26):
Here now come.

Speaker 7 (16:28):
On clinton's got A podesta's got a, big huge painting
Of clinton in a blue dress and red high. Heels epstein,
Did podesta, did but all of them are, Linked, okay.
Ok and then there's a picture of Even GEORGE.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
W BUSH i saw that.

Speaker 7 (16:42):
One, yeah come, on, people these people are into this,
stuff these young, kids that's what they.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
Do but here's the.

Speaker 7 (16:50):
Point some all other people kind of know, this but
the ones who don't want to be, involved they don't.
Participate it's, like have you ever been gone to a.
Party everybody he's drunk doing. Drugs you'll go because you
don't drink or smoke or do. Drugs you don't do,
it but you were still at the. Party, okay, okay
we need to separate all this and get to the bright.

(17:10):
People he was also let go on his first conviction
in lawsuit.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Down In Florida. Epstein, yes they cut him a deal back.

Speaker 7 (17:19):
Then, yeah and he was free even though he was
convicted of sexually assaulting young. Girls how do you do
that if you aren't tied to these three letter? Agencies
and then also looked at Again. Glead her, Dad Robert Max,
thoell was IN MI i.

Speaker 6 (17:35):
Sixter she knows how to sail a.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Submarine these kind of things don't.

Speaker 6 (17:39):
Happen think about.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
It a lot of. NEXUS i don't know How nexus's next.
SIDE Pk Steimerg steven's here to break them all. Down

cycles are going trying to think. BACK i was anchoring
the coverage over AT koa And i'm still. Learning by
the way and that was a big reason WHY i
wanted to have this segment about the effect of psychedelic
mushrooms on mental. Health and a Former Denver broncos quarterback

(20:15):
was kind of spearheading the effort here in our state
engineering the use of this in a medicinal type of,
way in a productive type of. Way AND, pk you
AND i have had a lot of these conversations, about you,
know pursuing holistic methods and means rather than you, know
going through the pharmaceuticals and, antidepressants. Etc And i'm always

(20:38):
willing to explore and open my mind literally and figuratively
to the use of these types of. Substances and of
course you grew up during a different, Time but what
is your view on that kind of natural remedies and
maybe the use of psychedelic mushrooms in that. Regard i'm,
All i'm.

Speaker 7 (20:54):
All for the use of natural, remedies, Okay And i'm
kind of anti big Pharm, Yeah but whether it's synthetic
or whether it's, natural you have to remember there's ramifications
to the body and reactions that CONCUR i, mean take,
example you call arsenic is, natural but it'll kill, You,

(21:14):
Okay and there were some naturals where you have to
have just a teeny bit of something so. Small anything
over that it becomes anti to what you're trying to.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Do So i'm all for.

Speaker 7 (21:27):
It as far as the, mushrooms they were really big
in the, sixties and WHEN i grew, UP i was
a teenager in the.

Speaker 6 (21:33):
Sixties, yeah they were. Huge but you, know it's no
different today than even.

Speaker 7 (21:39):
Marijuana they touted it as the safe, drug but now
they're finding out all of this stuff eventually affects the.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
Brain, well THE thhc levels have gotten so much higher
than what you knew was marijuana in the, seventies which
you never. Used you told me that during the. Break
want to make Sure i'm very upfront accurate about that
information and trying to be. Accurate donna texts, me and
you can do the same at five seven seven three, Nine,
ryan it's still like, silly still a cybin with an
accent ON. Cee why still love your? Show, Well, donna

(22:08):
thanks for affording me that grace Because god KNOWS i need.
It and now we turned to another name that's difficult to.
Say i'm gonna do my very best and he'll likely
correct me and that's. Fine here On Ryan Schuling, Live
Gabe Charlem. Beades he is the founder Of odyssey here
to talk more about this. Subject, gabe WAS i close
with your last? Name there you?

Speaker 3 (22:26):
Were that was actually pretty. Good, yeah it's so that
the sea is, silent so it sort of makes it
impossible to get off of the. Bat but It's harlem bea, Dees.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Harlem beiades forget the, sea got it forget to. See
i'll get myself A b plus on the attempt. There
but educate us if you, Would, gabe BECAUSE i know
very little about this other than WHAT i just said
and the fact that it's legal here In colorado now
with the psychedelic mushrooms and a lot of. People you,
know they make jokes about. It shaggy From scooby Doo it,
said what you, know that sort of. Thing But Jake,
plummer the quarterback for The, broncos is really front and

(22:57):
center in this, effort dealing with pain from HIS nfl
injury and saying that this was an effective method and
that he swears by. It take us from, there your
founding Of odyssey and where it all.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Goes, yeah, Boy, ryan there's one thing for having me
on and there's a lot of a lot of different
directions for that we can take. It SO i, mean,
yeah Maybe i'll speak a little bit to the benefit
that people can have and they'll talk a little bit About.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Odyssey and a little bit About.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
Colorado, YEAH i, mean people really do have pretty, yeah
not to overuse the term, magical but really like wonderful
results from. This and it ranges from like releasing trauma
that is that they people have carried for for a
lot of their. Life we see people who've been carrying

(23:40):
around things that happened to them sixty years ago that
seem to be released during these. EXPERIENCES a lot of
people feel like they get like a second chance that,
life like so much life comes back to them after
these experiences they feel like they've gone Through for some
folks like years of therapy in an. Afternoon that's not
always the case.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
That it can.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Be but they really are ye quite, profound and they're
not you, know they're not just for the sort of
the hippie crowd like they really are for, yeah everyday.
People and there's so much growth and one that can
come from. This, so, yeah would it be helpful to
kind of do a super quick prime wrong on myself
and On.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Odyssey please do educate us.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Cool so, Yeah, yeah my name Is gabe and the
founder Of. Odyssey i'm an air space engineer by. TRADED
i have a bit of a different background before gains
getting into, this And i'll vary the, details but it
it kind of stems from growing up with anxiety and
then discovering psychedelics from from a relatively early, age and
then that compared and combined with a meditation, practice really

(24:41):
was very very freeing for myself and really like helped
me be a very free and much fuller version of
myself today AND i would have been. Otherwise SO i
had a lot of deep experiences that kind of convinced
me that there is something more MEANINGFUL i could be
doing with my. Life and then and then there's. Years
there's about a fifteen year period WHERE i was kind
of studying, this learning about, it volunteering at other, centers

(25:03):
and a really long time BEFORE i entered the path.
Professionally BUT i really saw as an airspace engineer as
someone who's a little bit more. Science. YE i was
a little bit frustrated WITH i think what a lot
of people perceived to be psychondelic, culture and THAT i
think a lot of people can kind of look at
the seventies and, think, oh that's that's just for, hippie

(25:24):
that that's not for, me when in, Reality i've seen so,
many you, know everyday folks get such tremendous value and
beauty at these experiences THAT i was, like you know,
WHAT i would really love their further to be away
or further there be a place that people who are
maybe a little bit more, yeah a little bit More,
western a little bit more science, influence can go for
these experiences and feel safe and feel, comfortable and for

(25:45):
it to feel approachable to those sort of.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Folks so that was that was.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
An IDEA i had maybe five years ago before it
ever became legal in The United, states and Then oregon
was a little bit ahead Of colorado and legalizing these.
Experiences they passed in twenty. Twenty that took effect in
middle tent twenty, three and then we started offering our
services in a retreat, format so a group of individuals

(26:08):
all going through this, together which is kind of how
it's been done for for, many many thousands of. Years
we started offering that in organ in twenty twenty three
and again and kind of a more science evidence based,
approach a little bit more approachable for. Folks and, yeah
we did the first retreat that it's part of kind
Of america's new opening of. This and then and, then
just to draw an important, distinction What oregon and Now

(26:30):
colorado is, legalized they're not, Dispensaries like there are not
places that you can go to and just buy mushrooms
and take them home with. You what which you can
buy is second al pair of you is a whole.
Service it's the, screening the, Preparation you go to a
license facility for administration of. This people help you integrate
the experience and, processes et. Cetera so it's really a whole.
Service and so, yeah we started offering them a couple

(26:53):
of years ago In oregon and then we just have
started In colorado as. Well so we recently did our
first retreat In.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Colorado you can find out more ONLINE odysseypbc dot. Com
the Founder Gabe harlembidis joining us. HERE i just find
all this fascinating gage because it's so new AND i
think it's refreshing that it can give people an alternative
treatment that for years maybe traditional forms of therapy didn't
get the job, done or antidepressants like, prozac, zoloft et.

(27:21):
Cetera you, know there are side effects to that as.
Well SO i GUESS i just want to have you
address what this experience. Is like you talk about this,
retreat this psilocybin retreat In oregon and now coming here To,
colorado and that's why we're having you on because of
the launch here In colorado and just what people can.
Expect are there side? Effects you, know.

Speaker 7 (27:40):
What is the?

Speaker 1 (27:41):
Upside is there a? Downside you, know people may have
a lot of trepidation about giving this a, try but
why should they do?

Speaker 3 (27:46):
It, yeah, yeah that's a great, question And i'm Probably
i'm not going to answer all, those so feel free
to answer. THAT i knit okay in. There but, yeah you,
know like our our, retreats it really it starts well
before the retret treat, itself so it starts with. Screening
so you know that this is we encourage folks to
think of this as as a. Procedure you, know mushrooms

(28:07):
physiologically are quite safe and there's just a small number
of individuals that really shouldn't be doing that are hard cond,
interdications it's a relatively small, percent and there are there
are a variety of other like lifestyle things and other
elements of someone's life that we look for before we
think someone is eligible for. This so it is it's
a you, know it's a significant investment to be doing

(28:29):
this and to be treated as, Such so we take
the screen process very. Seriously and then there's weeks of
our preparation. Process so your your mindset coming into this
experience really influences your experience.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Itself and the.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Outcomes and so we have a whole program designed to
get people feeling prepared for. This so there's a lot
of zoom work done individual and as a. Group there's
a lot of kind of self based resources to go.
Through so there's a whole preparation period that's really really.
Important and then to the retreats, themselves people. Come you,
know it's a organ in Now colorado for at least four,

(29:03):
days and so kind of the first day people. Come
we do groups of about about ten individuals at a
time and they come and the first day is kind
of a general meet and greet That i'm going to
paint with's kind of a broad brush here to make,
SURE i get to the variety of questions, here But
day one is a rival and kind of settling and getting.
Comfortable day two is when we go over to a
licensed facility to do this, experience and again it's done

(29:25):
in a. Group it's very. Supportive we have a whole
team of facilitators that are there for the, experience and
it's a whole day, thing and you can envision a
group of say ten individuals in a facility. Together everyone
is laying down on their own MATTRESS i shaved the
one and listening to music and there's a curated playlist
that really takes people on this like emotional journey for

(29:46):
about for about eight. Hours so it's an intense. Day
it can be filled with joy and. Wonder it can
also be filled with deep sadness and tears and. CHALLENGES
a lot of people after that experience, think you know,
WHAT i don't want to do that. Again i'm so
GLAD i did, it And i'm not going to do
that again for a. While and SO i don't want

(30:08):
people to come into this thinking that it's gonna be.
SUNSHINE i, roases because oftentimes it's. Not but oftentimes it's
these more challenging experiences that end up being more.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Therapeutic so that's.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
That's the soul side and day and then the following
day is the start of an integration, process so that
the period after a psul cid and session is referred
to as the integration. Periods you've had this, Experience now
how do you incorporate into your?

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Life what has?

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Changed what did that experience mean to? You and so
there's this really, days, weeks, months and even years long
process of integrating that experience into your. Life and so
we start that at the retreat and then and then
kind of position people well to continue it after and
we continue to provide support to them after as.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
Well tremendous. Presentation they're the, good the, bad and what can?
Happen and you know there's only one way to find,
out and that's to do your own research and find
out more online odysseypbs dot. Com you can start your journey.
