Speaker 1 (00:00):
Saturday morning, open phones. It's been a wonderful day. Yesterday
the weather let back up and then Honor flight on Thursday.
Mother nature was super kind to us, thanks for all
that came out on her flight, and there was a
few thousand people there like normal, honoring our Vietnam veterans
in a war that our government put us in. But
these fine men and women went to fight for us

(00:22):
and got mistreated when they got back. But on her
flight we make sure they get treated like gold. A
few things I dedicated this whole morning to a good
good friend of mine had passed away, Larry Coolidge. For
those who live in the Power area, he helped build Powell.
He took it from a small town to a metropolis.
So Larry Coolidge made you rest in peace. Old gearhead

(00:43):
car show guy. Just a wonderful human being. Larry'll be
sadly missed. Lutheran Church up in Marysville, they invited me
to speak on Thursday. Mister rhin Hart, no relation to
our hin Hart. What a wonderful guy, him and his
lovely brider, just awesome people. And thanks for having me.
They let me come in and speak to a few
hundred people with the church, and it was an honor

(01:05):
very it was an honor honor honer. We had two
World War Two vets there, Connor, and one guy was
one hundred and two, the other guy was ninety nine,
and they were pretty good shape. I don't think I'll
live that long because I do open phones, but I'll
be around for a while hopefully. So maybe good week
last count on drug boats, I think where are we at?
I'm going to start doing a weekly update on that,

(01:26):
because you know, it's kind of cool. Twenty one boats
have been blown up over seventy bad boys blown up.
So go Trump, go blow up the bad guy has
save everybody blows up saves twenty five thousand Americans. That's right.
Every boat study show and the internet tells me so
that that's saved over twenty five thousand. So you got

(01:47):
to figure twenty one boats times twenty five thousand dot
twenty five thousand people. I don't know what that Matt
tells me because I'd have to do it off air,
but we've saved a lot of people. Let's go to
bottom Line Bob. He's our first caller on fifteenth of November.
Good morning, bottom one.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Ball, Wow, good morning an excellent introduction there. I tell you,
when you when you look at all these riots going
on and uh, you know say like Chicago.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah about Chicago's right in the United.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
States, I'll tell you now, some people just do not
want to be gracious or listen to anything different or
you know, have a discosiated by. I wouldn't even like
it's somebody like you or me offered to buy them
a really good meal. They probably wouldn't even like that.

(02:44):
They don't right thing at all. They're they're just uh,
but they're going to find out. There's a whole lot
of folk out there. They're a young, well lot younger
than I am, and they're in shape, and they're going
to go out there and get these towns, uh, these
towns cleaned up. So that's a lot for for people.

(03:07):
And this is the it's real U. And as we said,
thank you for invitation of going to church that needs
to be really reinvigorated because church attendance is a lot

(03:29):
lower than it used to be, much lower. I'll just
like to suggest I go to First Baptist Church of
Columbus and bomb mine is we don't we don't have
anywhere near as many people as we used to. We
used to have about eighty people in the congregation and

(03:52):
now it's a lot lower. We're talking uh less and
forty at this point. And I'd just like to invite
people out to church. And by the way, if the
pastor doesn't give an invitation at the end of the sermon,
that if you don't have a relationship with Jesus, if

(04:17):
you don't know where you're going to spend eternity. I'll
tell you now, if you don't have a relationship with him,
you're not going to be spending eternity in heaven. It's
a bad place that are going to after that. It's
not going to be any fun because well, he didn't

(04:40):
make a good transaction. Admist you were a sinner and
ask God to forgive you and ask Jesus would be
your lord and savior, and that way you can know
for sure where you're going to be spending eternity, and
it's a great place. I'm telling you now. Before I

(05:04):
got saved, Bob was not a real nice person.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
What did Bob do bad? I want to say, Bob,
if you were that bad, can you tell me what
the worst thing you've done in your life? Or you
don't want to share that one.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
The birst one I was when I was down to
Hiu where I got my bachelor's degree on the cello,
when when we had the audition for principal cello, there
was a brand new conductor and he was uh asking

(05:44):
all the cellis to play for him individually. And the
piece that we uh he had us audition on was
the Second Symphony of Beethoven. And to give you an
idea about that thing, piece was you were not able

(06:04):
unless you could really play. That piece is not performed
by the professional orchestra in Vienna. They couldn't play it
in five rehearsals. And the bottom line is Bob played
that thing five different times by different conductors. So when

(06:26):
we got to that piece, I hate that thing a
whive because I knew it well, and my competition for
that she had never even heard the piece before. That
tells you what happened on that. But that entire thing

(06:48):
about being gracious people, we need to get back to that.
We need to be get And if anybody's doubting, like
I said, I'm inviting people to First Baptist Church of Columbus,

(07:08):
come on out and visit.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Bottom line Beethobe and Bob, we'll talk to you next Saturday.
Get a new nickname.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Buddy, Hey, was that the worst thing he's ever done?

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Is that what he's saying? I think he I think
he did, Bob, Bob, Jesus was easy on that one.
Is I can say this guy.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Release, I know worst things he's done just from talking
to him on the phone for three seconds. What's the
worst thing you've ever done?

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Boots chair.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
This morning show?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
I can write a book. How about this? When Ella
I said stuff in the eighties I would never even say.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Right now, didn't everybody?

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Yeah, I've evolved. I guess the worst thing I ever
did was woman and eyes a little bit. I was
a bad boy. So I've done some bad stuff. But
you know what they're not regrets, their lessons learned. How
was that? But I know one good things for the women.
But I love all my producers. I think you guys
are all awesome. I do. I'm very fortunate to have

(08:08):
a good group. And I'm not saying that like all
the talking heads on Well, we'd like to reach out
to our cameraman and bit No, I really appreciate you guys.
On a serious note, So we're gonna go to break.
When we come back. We got Dennis, Dick and Wendy
in a few lines open eight six is a magic number.
And then we get back and we'll tell you about
festival lights coming up. This is one of the best
ones around. I think it's a hidden jewel here in

(08:28):
the Columbus market. So this is already one of them.
Phones on Dan Boots, brought you by the Metal Roof Company,
always protective by the Endfeated American Meete tittletale arm system
from the hartlet Banks Studios on THEWS Radio six ten TV.
In all right, I said for a break. Keller Farms
Festival Lights. Bernie the owner is a great friend of mine.
He's a veteran Honor Flight participant, comes out to mostly

(08:51):
Honor Flight's cheerer vets on And I'm telling you it's
only ten dollars a car. It starts, okay, the weekend
of Thanksgiving, So Sunday, Wednesday six to nine, Thursday and
Saturday six to ten, load up the car. Ten dollars
a car. I mean they have drive through Christmas lights
on display. They have some Santa's dates to be announced.

(09:11):
Hawk Coco stand can say it's just a family fund.
Here's what I suggest you do.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
The name of it again.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
It's Keller Farms, Festival Life in Fairfield County fair fair Grounds.
It's bad at the bone, but thank you all. But
you know one rule. Get your kids in the car,
take their phones, throw them in your glovebox, your phone
in the globbox, and enjoy some family time. That's what
we need. Yeah, Bob's correct. You can. You need church,

(09:37):
especially if you mess up Beethoven. But I'm telling you
you got This is family time that the world needs.
Please please have them put the phones down. Let's go
back the phone lines. Go to Dennis. Good morning, Dennis.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Put the phones down, Let's go to the phone.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah, accept our phones, all right.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Dennis Boots, Good morning from Hannah, Indiana this morning. And wow,
on my way back towards towards Columbus. Yes, it's eighty
five miles. Where I'm at is west of Fort Winer.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Yeah yet gosh.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Well Boots. Thankfully it's winding down for the season, so
it's it's not too awfully bad. I've had the delightful
experience here in the past couple of weeks and making
several trips through Chicago and a tractor trailer. Yeah, yeah,
that's that's not a whole lot of fun. Anyhow, Now

(10:41):
that the government's back to work, I want to really
ask I really want to ask the people how much
did you miss when our government was shut down? How
much did you how much did you really miss? Folks?
People are plane flights right, and that that can be
easily taking care, But how much did you actually miss?

(11:02):
What impact did it actually have on you? I would
say on ninety nine percent of us, none. You know why,
because our government is bloated beyond what our constitution allows,
way beyond what our constitution allows. There's some Republicans that
are kicked off at Rand Paul for Ram Paul voting
against the package. Well, Ran Paul is a libertarian who

(11:27):
truly believes the small government and also believes that our
government should be funded by twelve separate appropriation bills, which
is also required by the constitution. These continuing resolutions are
part of the reason why we are thirty eight soon
to be thirty nine trillion dollars in the hole. We

(11:51):
are going in debt to the tune of a trillion
dollars every sixty days. People, it's got to stop.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Got to stop.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
And then you put it in perspective what the Democrats wanted.
They wanted another one point five or one point six
trillion dollars in spending to put us even further in
the hole. And folks, this is not sustainable. This country's bankrupt,
people bankrupt. If our government was run like a business

(12:28):
where the president and the vice president and this is
going back many administrations where the CEO and CFO and
our congress members on both sides were members of boarded directors,
every one of them would be prison but they did
at the corporation. You can't outrun a company like they
run this country, or you would be in prison. It's

(12:50):
called white collar crime. Yeah, oh yeah, And that's just
a fact. It's just fact.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
It's old man. And you know, we have a lot
of callers come in. We got to go back and
fight and and and go after these you you just can't.
We can try. And Dennis, I hate to be the
bearer of bad news, but you know, bring up Pearl
Harbor and JFK. You know, we've never understood what happened
to JFK, and our crooked government's never going to let

(13:21):
us know ever. They just won't. We We can write,
we can call, we can do, But Dave got us
down wherever the old dog it rolls on our back
and scratch our belly because we just don't. They've got us.
You know. Social socialism's on its way. In COVID was
the scrimmage. I'm telling you, they're getting their way and
and a lot of us are just giving up. And

(13:42):
I might hate to say this, I'm kind of I'm
over it. I know it sounds terrible, but something that
bad is going to happen soon, and we're gonna have
to get all I think. I think there's five hands
or whatever the old saying is that run the world.
And when everybody gets happy and everything gets normal, it's
time to throw up some chaos to make everybody hate
each other again. I think there's a power it does that.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Oh yeah, absolutely, Man, this country, I'm I'm I'll soon
be sixty five. I'm I'm black. Friday night will be
sixty five.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Happy birthday, And yeah, thank you brother.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
I've never I've never seen this country so divided.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
No, it's terrible.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
On September twelfth, two, pau was one. We were united
like never before, probably since Pearl Harbor. I don't know.
I wasn't around the pearl Harbor. I'm old, but not
that not that old.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
But they were attack us and we played stupid.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
They were they were hints, absolutely, they were hints. Yeah.
So by the way, before before, before, before I get
off here, congratulations on another successful season of Boonder Flights.
Brother you and thank you.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
I gotta tell you, if we just brought up the
way the world is divided. There was an Africa, a
man of color, I call him black. He he's an
American veteran, got off the plane. I shook his hand
and I said, welcome home, and thank you for your service.
You know, he said to me, he goes, this is
way overdue, and I said, I'm sorry for everything. I said,
I'm sorry for whatever everything our country did to you.

(15:16):
You being of color, the racism that was in the sixties,
and the fact you're a veteran. You thought maybe back
in those days people would respect you. And then you
get home from a war, you're a hero, and people
spit on you and throw tomatoes at you. And he
looked at me and said, thank you for that, because
I can't imagine what it would have been to have
you know back then the blacks couldn't share barracks with

(15:37):
the whites. I mean, we have come so far as
a country, but for some reason, like we're discussing, they
got to keep the hate going. You know, they got
to say, you know that, like this officer shot that
girl at Kroger. They have to make it a racial issue.
You know, everything's a racial issue. And most people don't
even hardly think that way anymore. I mean, there's always
going to be someone someone doesn't like to regardless of

(15:58):
what you're making model you are. But you know what,
every man of a woman of color that gets off
that plane, I go extra effort to make over them
because they had two disrespects in the sixties.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
So yeah, you're right, man. It's thankfully our nation has evolved,
yes to a degree. But then we had the great
divider in chief.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Yeah yeah, and Biden was just he just made these worse.
And your common sense is no longer a thing. And
when someone says to me that why are we blowing
innocent drug dealers out of the water without due processes?
I just look at them and go, do you smoke crack?
I just I just did the math. We twenty one

(16:43):
boats blown up have saved five hundred and twenty five
thousand Americans. Yeah, that's that's a that's an estimate. So
if you think that's wrong, then you're an idiot. Right.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Oh no, no, man, I'll tell you I'm all about
blowing them.

Speaker 6 (16:58):
Out of the water.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
I'm out of the water.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Every week, I'm going to update how many up every week.
Stay two and you know how they count down to
Trump's impeachment. I got countdown and how many boats were
blown out of the water full of drugs. And I'm
okay with that. All right, brother, I'll talk to you soon.
Safe driving. Blow that horn.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
All right, brother, here we go, Saturday.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
Morning, Thank you, Thanks Saturday Morning. On phones, I'm Damn Boots.
Brought you by the emailal Roof Company Power by the Undefeated,
an American made tattletale arm system never been beat from
Hartlan Bank Studios on News Radio six to ten WTV
in six one four eight two one nine double eight
six nine eight eight six is the magic number. That's

(17:40):
the six ten number. It a call in. Anybody wants
to calling with some positive things, that'd be great. But
there is a positive person that always makes our day
because we always love our Dick on Saturday mornings. Good
morning Dick, Good morning Boots.

Speaker 7 (17:52):
How are you.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
I'm good, my friend.

Speaker 7 (17:56):
That's good. Well, one thing happened this week. I couldn't
been more satisfied. They settled the dever been shutdown, which
they should have never Yeah, it was I don't think
it should have ever happened. You know, it just was
a bad thing.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
But the good thing is that the community stepped up
to the plate and help people get food and food drives.
And I think that shows you how strong America be
when government idiots don't know what they're doing.

Speaker 7 (18:24):
But sorry, go ahead, buddy, that's true. Well, Ohio State
looks like you think they'll go undefeated.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
You know what. I'm the Connors rightly gonna laugh at
me when I say this. I hope, and it sounds
terrible to come out of my mouth. We need to
lose one because I think when you go in Superstars,
I think it. I think Michigan beating us. I hate
to say that it's helped us because I think that's
why we came back last year and kicked. But I

(18:54):
think at the human nature, everybody needs put in their
place occasionally, especially when you're at the top of your game.
And and I hope, I hope we're going to feed
himin National Championship. But I'm really scared of the making
us soft. I think Day's doing a really good job
pacing them, and and and I think our quarterback's amazing.

(19:16):
I absolutely love that kid. He's a good boy man,
and I'm like his name, just saying, I love it
so much fun it's gonna be with that.

Speaker 7 (19:23):
So, yeah, I got some I'm gonna do some early
shopping next week. I think, you know, I always go
to the best bargain, say like good Will or places
like that, you know, and buy stuff you know, oh yeah,
kind of interesting. But yeah, I just that's uh. You know,

(19:44):
both of our higher teams need new coaches boots, don't they.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
I just think we should just sell the Bengals and
sell the Browns another city and start over again, because
look at look how well that tid for Baltimore when
we gave up the Browns the first time. I don't know,
I feel bad. My dad was dive said a million times.
My dad was a diehard Browns fan, and that ruined
our Sundays since I can remember. That's my PTSD. I'm

(20:11):
very fortunate in life. That's the worst thing I gotta
deal with is my dad getting mad every Sunday and
Sunday dinner, being quiet, making my dad a double highball.
A good week, you too, Dick. Always a pleasure. Wendy,
Good morning, Wendy. How are you.

Speaker 8 (20:28):
I am well, I'm just thinking that we should remember
what we are thankful for that we live in a
great country. We have a constitution, and there are people
that complain about us not following the Constitution, but don't
know what the five freedom but the first Amendment are.

(20:49):
You know, they know about the freedom to speak, but
what about the freedom of the exercise as in not
just worship, but exercise your religion? Read them to peacefully
assemble two uh, you know, to do these very vital things.

(21:09):
And somehow I'm coming up short. Maybe it's because of
what I'm going to tell you next, because I know
all five. It's just not a good week, well a
couple of weeks. Anyway. The the deal is, I went
to vote and as normal, they say have we been
waiting for you? Which is creepy, And then they said

(21:32):
you're late, and I said, there's my seventeen year old
cat dying good enough for you something close to that,
so they're still the same. I would like to since
we're now headed towards the great turning fiftieth anniversary of

(21:52):
our nation, that we might want to protect our vote.
So if you're getting mailed it has somebody else's name
on it that doesn't live there, getting things from the
bureer motor vehicles that aren't yours, that you need to
take action and try and resolve it because your vote

(22:14):
is very valuable. And if you move, you're supposed to
update your registration and protect your vote because your vote
is valuable. Otherwise you're going to get more of the same.
And they point that we need to appropriate bills and

(22:36):
that we might need to actually pass bills into regular
order instead of this stuff is long overdue. We lost
the Speaker over that. But I want to emphasize that
we need to be thankful for our veterans, We need
to be thankful for this country. We need to understand

(22:56):
the constitution and all the things the Constitution says are
to be done, and we're doing many things that are
not in the constitution, and we are doing them overwhelmingly
poorly based on international norms of real things, and we
need to resolve to honor our constitution, befriended and protected

(23:22):
from being whittled way at by extraneous things. Now, if
people invest into a system, they should get what they
were promised. But there's a lot of things where there's
money going to things that should not be sent, and

(23:43):
everybody knows that. And we need to protect our country
from those that are willing to may get their personal
tiny banks. So grateful for this country. I'm grateful for venors,
I'm grateful for I thank God that we have religious freedom.
And there's places where it's illegal to have too many

(24:06):
people praise because they don't cottage churches, but it may
be illegal. You bless your turkey, So make sure that
you're going to these meetings and standing up for the
rights of the people. And God bless America.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
All right, God bless you, Wendy. I'll tell you what.
Let's go to break because I know these next few callers,
woo doggy, Hey, gonna get busy here on Saturday. Morn
of your own phones. I'm Dan Boots, brought to you
by the Metal Roof Company, Always protected by the undfeated
America made out They are from Laurla Max Studios on
news radio six ten WTV, and this is the part
of Open Phones where the Dave Show begins. David, Bring

(24:45):
it home, Brother Top.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
David, good morning morning.

Speaker 6 (24:52):
Hey, i'd have a quick question. I was curious about
last week. I was interested in listening to my mess
sage last week I couldn't find it.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
On the radio.

Speaker 6 (25:02):
Do you have any explanations for not putting on the
second hour the show last week?

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Probably? Yeah, that's more of an l I'm the one
that does it.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
If it's not up, I just forgot to do it.
That's the depth of the explanation. But I get it
on today if it's not there now.

Speaker 6 (25:20):
And I'll tell you that that's good good.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
News, David. The thing is Saturday morning open Phones and
auto smarts and everything. When the buck guys haven't earn
a game, it really throws wrenches and everything. So it's
really a hard job back at the studio. So we'll
get a.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
Faced Okay, I understand. I appreciate that. That's super Well.
Today I want to talk about a denial of due process.
You know what that means.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Oh? Yeah, they don't want to do it, and like
I said earlier, I don't know what we're going to do.

Speaker 6 (25:48):
Due process is the duty of the government to give
each citizen their rights before a judge or jury when
a crime has been committed against them. And and here's
my first example. The Supreme Court, fact I think four
to five years ago, told the Texas Attorney General in

(26:08):
fifteen states they did not have standing with the court
regarding filing charges against five states that they had discovered
committed election malfeasans. So basically, if you read Article three,
Section three of the Constitution, the Supreme Court has a

(26:28):
legal duty to adjudicate cases between states. That's their only job.
And they denied that to the Attorney General Ken Paxson.
So I think the Supreme Court violated their oaths of office. Okay,
now today you have an attorney general and an FBI
director obstructing justice, delaying justice, and denying the due process

(26:55):
rights of over two thousand young girls that were exploited,
rape and kidnapped and basically battered on Epstein Island. I
listened to the director of FBI just this past week
talking directly to I believe Tommy Massey and Ran Paul,

(27:16):
and they asked him a direct question, do you have
the names of the people? And he said no, And
then he brought up the fact that the previous week
he brought up the fact that there were four to
five different names identified in the Epstein files. So guess
what's happening. The Attorney General in the FBI are directly

(27:41):
obstructing justice and denying the due process of over two
thousand young girls that were had crimes committed against them. Now,
what do you think about that?

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Terrible? Terrible?

Speaker 6 (27:54):
I agree, yeah, Well, I don't understand if they have
names and they don't have have they don't bring evidence
to a judge, how can the judge file a war
for the rest of these individuals.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
I wish I knew. I don't know why they haven't
released they have steam files, and I wish they would.
But gotta go, David. She put a back up there. Brother,
Let's go to Dave and he can finish out the hour. Dave,
The Dave Show is on the second half.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
Okay, Well, you know, I It'd be so easy to
take that knucklehead to the woodshop, but I'm gonna waste
the valuable airtime with the.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Hey, hey, quick, calm people names. You're better now.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
Yeah, yeah, okay, well I had no knucklehead is bad,
so I'll be good.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
But names are bad. You sound like a liberal.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
Yeah, let's well we had we.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
Had bigger fish to fry.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
