to have a digital quote unquote brit card. The Prime

UK will be required to have a government issued digital
ID card. The new plans are hoped to tackle levels
of illegal immigration and make it easier to identify if
a person can live and or work in the UK.
The brick card would be shown when starting a new job,

would be checked in a large database of people entitled
to work in the UK. Now, a bunch of other
countries have this kind of thing, Costa Rica, Singapore or
South Korea. I know Canada does. I think Japan does,
and of course China does. But China's one big database anyway,
and the public in Britain that it's about fifty to

fifty percent approval rating. But I'm interested, should Americans have
a version of this, a digital card that proves that
you are here to work legally, they live here legally.
I mean there's a problem in a lot of Americans minds,
and you know, most people's minds about illegal immigration, and
this could be a way to curb that. But how

much oversight are the American people willing to take. I mean,
it would seem most of our personal information would be
stored in a database like they do in Britain, in
my opinion, would be a prime target for you know, hackers,
which is nothing new. A lot of times when you
hear about banks or businesses being hacked, it's not just
