(00:00):
So the twenty twenty four election cycleis already heating up and one of the
races that is going to have thenation's attention because the Democrats are going to
desperately cling try to cling to ShearedBrown's Senate seat. And this Senate race

(00:20):
here in Ohio is shaping up tobe one of the maybe most important races
along with the presidential race in twentytwenty four. And a gentleman who is
thrown his hat into the ring onceagain, and also somebody who is who
is well, let's just say friendswith President Trump Senator Well, see,

(00:43):
I almost did it again there,Bernie Marino. Welcome to Saving Liberty Podcast.
See I'm already trying to get aheadof myself because I can't. I
gotta let share. I can't waittill Shared Brown's gone from the Senate.
So I apologize for that, Bernie, but you know, welcome to Saving
Liberty Podcast. And you just declarednot what forty eight hours ago? I
believe right, I actually believe itor not? It was yesterday. Oh

(01:06):
my gosh, it was already yesterday. Yesterday. Last night in Claremont County,
we had a great launch event, just great people. We've toured all
over Ohio. I think I've drivenprobably six thousand miles an hour in the
last month, literally all over thestate. I'll continue to do that because
you know, I'm not a careerpolitician. I'm not somebody who's been in

(01:26):
elected office before. I'm not somebodywho dreamed about this since the time I
was a kid, and so thereforea lot of people know how to don't
know me. So I got todo the hard work, and I'm certainly
prepared to do that. You know, name recognition does make a big difference
in the person that got into therace first. It's a guy by the
name of Matt Dolan. Now certainlypeople in the northern part of the state

(01:47):
know Matt and his family really well. They bought the Indians and then turned
him into the Guardians. You know, I loved that game growing up,
playing Cowboys and you know, Cowboysand Guardians and Guardians and Bridge guard audience.
But I digress. I may feelthat one with and that's I'm so

(02:09):
angry Bernie that listen. I grewup listening to the Indians on the radio.
It was like a rite of passagefor me. With my dad,
we grabbed the ball glove every dayat least twice and played catch. It
is just something I'm going to diehard on that mountain because they will always
be the Cleveland Indians to me.In true story, I've not watched them

(02:30):
again since they changed. Wow,that's not true. Actually I did go
to a game, but I worea Yankee cap because the Bronx Bombers were
in towns. And I don't feelbad about it. I can't. I
can't wear the Yankees that. Icouldn't do that, but I did get
rid of my six feets right behindhome play front row and I had them
for over a decade. But thereality is, what's wrong with our country

(02:53):
though, isn't it what's wrong withour country that we have these quote unquote
leaders. They go down to Washington, DC and somehow they land at Reagan
National and their spine and everything elseis god right, it's god. They
can't stand out for obvious things, right, if you can't, if we
can't, look somebody, I say, listen, I'm sorry that you feel
the name of this team is racist, but that's a U problem, not

(03:15):
of me problem, and just moveon. I mean, you know,
the Kansas City Chiefs are doing justfine, right. I mean, it's
crazy and they're allowed to chop asare the braves. I get so angry
watching it. You know, Idon't I don't want to go down that
path too far because this is aboutyou, Bernie. But I remember talking
to Matt Dolan about that, andwhat I understand is that the Native Americans

(03:36):
that his family visited with out westweren't necessarily insulted by the name Indians.
They just felt like, hey,you know, it doesn't it's a generic
label. It doesn't necessarily describe thepunity or the cherokeear and so then my
thought was, well, why don'tyou pick an Ohio tribe and name them
specific, specific Indian tribe, butname recognition. Going back to what you

(03:57):
said earlier, Matt Dolan has somehe's he's been in politics for a while.
His family has notoriety. How areyou going to combat that? What's
your game plan? What's your strategy? Well, we're gonna outwork them.
We're gonna outwork them. I boughta dealership with every since I had in
my life about eighteen years ago herein Cleveland. It was selling four cars

(04:17):
a month. I sold eighty cars. Our first month that store turned into
a store that was a dealership thatsold over three thousand cars a year.
You do it through marketing. Ifyou do it through marketing, you got
to go meet people, talk topeople, make sure they understand what you're
about. Who are you, whatdo you stand for? Tell your story,
and that's what we'll do. Yeah. The reality is, you know,
Matt Ran last time, he putin between him and his family put

(04:41):
in almost fifteen million dollars into therace. And you know, obviously when
you have that kind of resources, that kind of family money, it does
make a difference. What I'm doingis I'm going to go out there and
as the people of Ohio to chipin five bucks, ten bucks, twenty
five bucks to get a grassroots movementaround my campaign. And I think I
think it's gonna be a two personwriting, I really do. I don't

(05:01):
think it's gonna be a messy primarylike them when we had before. Okay,
yeah, that's trust weight. Ithink I think that's our strategy.
Yeah. I was just gonna saythat's the question on everyone's mind right now
is like, and I phrase thison on The Blazers Show yesterday, Um,
you know, we now at leasthere as long I don't want anyone

(05:25):
else getting in the race and muckingit up. Okay, we already saw
that the Ohio governor's primary was completelychaotic, and if you look at it,
um, if you if you lookat Jim or Nassy and you look
at uh Gosha hat the hat, yeah, they had more votes combined than

(05:46):
than Governor Dwine did. But Ijust I look at that and I go
and what I said yesterday. Wehave a clear definition here of two different
Republican styles, if you will,or Republican ideas. You have old money,
old guard bush esque Republicanism what Ilike to call the country club Republicanism.

(06:11):
And that's not an insult to theanybody at the country club. I
love playing the country clubs. Butyou know what I'm trying to say versus
what a start difference is in aPresident Trump backed America first Republican And I
want that. I want those twoto be clearly defined. And I'm really
hoping that somebody else doesn't get inthis race. And so your gut feeling

(06:36):
is it will come down to youand mister Dolan for the GOP primary.
Yeah, absolutely, Listen, Icould have lived any better. Honestly,
you know, that contract is avery healthy conversation that we need to have,
and we need to answer the question. And obviously I pretty bush that
the answer will be that we wantan America First conservative outsider. There are

(06:58):
people who want squishy democ light careerpoliticians that are the professional class, but
political class. I just don't thinkthat's the majority. But having others joined
the race confuses voters and also addsextreme amounts of extra money being spent in
the Republican primary, and every sensethat spent in the Republican primary accrues to

(07:21):
the benefit of Shared Brown. Hewants us divided, he wants us kicking
out each other's butts. The media, by the way, loves it because
all that money gets spent on ourTV station, on our radio stations.
So you know, it's it's justI'm necessary. You know, President Trump
has weighed in a year earlier thanthey did last time, and I think

(07:41):
we just need to have that conversationbecause Ohio's pivotal. We can't lose this
race. We have to take outShared Brown if we want any shot at
having a majority in our Senate forthe rest of the decade. I have
another question for you then, ishave you reached out to JD. Vance?
Have you you talked to JD andand ask for some advice or Hey,

(08:03):
what's what's something I'm gonna encounter orwhat you know? Because you,
I mean, you know how tonavigate this. It's not that you don't,
but you know. J JD isa living example of the Trump endorsement,
how powerful it is because there's you. You'll never convince me JD Vance
didn't win because Donald Trump came inand endorsed him. Have you have you

(08:24):
had a chance to at all reachout to j D? Or or he's
too busy, you know in theSenate, which doing the people's work,
which is what he should be doing. I understand, but I was just
curious. No, JD is obviouslyvery busy in the Senate. We're very
good friends. We talked very often. He's a great sounding board, provides
great advice, and we have agreat relationship. As you know. After

(08:46):
I dropped out of the race lastcycle and j D got endorsed, I
can't pay it all over Ohio withhim. I helped him raise money.
I was actually even a debate partnerto get him ready for the Tim Ryan
debates. So JD to have agreat relationship where we talked prely. Yeah.
I want to give you kudos onthat, Bernie, because during the
Ohio Press Network GOP Senate forums,we asked the question, if you're not

(09:09):
the person and the other person winsa nomination, do you back him?
Do you support him? And Ithink everyone on that stage said, well,
yeah, I will. But whenthe rubber met the road, I
think it was you and Mike Gibbonswho did most of the heavy lifting alongside
JD. Vance. So kudos toyou for keeping your word on that.
And here's what Trump has said.Word is that Bernie Marino, the highly

(09:31):
respected businessman from the great state ofOhio and father in law of fantastic young
Congressman Max Miller, is thinking ofrunning for the Senate. Obviously you've done
that since that quote. He wouldnot be easy to beat, especially against
Brown, one of the worst inthe Senate exclamation point end quote. Now,
you said that you were spot onafter Trump endorsed JD. JD pulled

(09:52):
away. Do you expect Donald Trumpto endorse in this race and do you
expect to get that endorsement well,it's gonna be up to him. He
has to make those decisions. Butyou know, I have a great relationship
with President Trump, a big supporterof his. I was thrilled to have
him encourage me to run, butobviously I'd already made a decision there.

(10:13):
But it's always good to have hissupport and positive words. But whatever he
does, it's going to be upto him at the end of the day.
What I got to do, Jackis, you know, is I
got to work my butt off toget the endorsements of the eleven million people
of Ohio, starting obviously with theRepublican voters. And that's what that's what
I'm gonna do. I'm gonna goout, go to every nook and cranity

(10:33):
of Ohio and talk to the peopleof Ohio about why I'm the right person
to represent them, why I'm goingto fight like hell for them in Washington,
DC to get this country back.I mean, we are living in
almost a simulation of insanity, andI don't think that we have much time.
You know, we've we had wehad Reagan warn us inteen eighty nine

(10:54):
that this isn't easy and the generationcan screw it up, and we don't
have years. We have year ortwo or three yeah, before we absolutely
just it's we've been to Curvin. It's too late. We can't get the
country back. And so I'm goingto find like hell, and I think
I'm the right person to do that. All right, Well, let's let's
jump into a couple of things then, Bernie, So you look at what's

(11:18):
going on more Russia Ukraine, andI always said that, you know,
we we spend more money defending Ukraine'sborders than we do ours. Bernie Marinos,
if if he gets in the UnitedStates Senate, just can you will
there be an open h you know, purse for Zelinsky in Ukraine? Or

(11:41):
will there be would you tell them, you know what, We've spent over
one hundred and thirty billion dollars already. Enough's enough. Our country is certain.
Well, first of all, theward would never have happened if President
Trump or a White House. TheDemocrats are the one and Biden are the
ones that caused the CRIMEA and theycaused this word. It's unequivocal, that's

(12:05):
factual, one percent correct. Shouldnever have happened. We can't give any
country a blank check, whether it'syou create anybody else. The reality is,
when you're broke, you can't payyour neighbor's bills. And I know
you know these stats, and Ithink it's important for your listeners to hear
them. Fifty seven percent of Americanscan't put their hand in a thousand dollars
in case of an emergency. Sevenpercent of Americans. Think about that.

(12:28):
One quarter of American children go tobed hungry every day. We have one
point five million veterans who are livingbelow the poverty line, thirty three thousand
of them are homeless, and twentythree vets a day killed themselves. Does
that sound like a country that canafford to give any other nation assent?
Think about those. You can't bea strong country abroad if you're not a

(12:52):
strong country at home. And thereality is, we wish we could go
solve everybody's problems, but we're we'regetting to the point where thirty twent a
half trillion dollars in debt and wegot to get our fiscal house in order
or there will be no America tosave anybody. And it's a sobering statistic.
It's sad that we got to thisplace, and it's where I'm running
honestly, because how do we gethere? Career politicians, insiders, the

(13:16):
political class from both parties that haveabsolutely pillaged this country for their own personal
gain. Look at Chuck Schumert,Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, mediocre people
that should have a mediocre existence, that are worth one hundreds of millions of
dollars. Think about that. Ifthat doesn't piss you off, then I

(13:39):
don't know what will. But thisis what's motivating me to take my life
and put into a blunder and goin there and get me arena to save
this country. You know, Ithink you mentioned something you said when Reagan
warned us in eighty nine that thegeneration can screw it up. Well right
now, how it's being screwed upthrough other generations is the unrelenting Marxist perverted

(14:07):
propaganda that they are receiving an education. And you look at what is going
on just here and locally here inColumbus. There was a big protest back
in February in Clintonville over a dragQueen story hour. And I just don't
understand. You know, I haveso many wonderful, hardworking gay and lesbian

(14:30):
friends that this is not this isnot what this is about. It's about
the fact that you spread Marxist teachingsabout colonialism, you spread Marxist teachings about
the way economics are set up andit's unfair and capitalism is evil. Then
you introduce sexual perversion and confusion intochildren. Our education system is under attack,

(14:54):
Bernie, that the children are theones who are going to suffer.
And it just I'm curious what ifyou could, if you had to advise,
you know, anybody here, stateof Ohio or nationally, what can
we do? How do we saveour children's education because without that we have
no future. There will be nogenerations open to what you know made this

(15:18):
country great, hard work, youknow faith, uh, you know,
going out and and and doing everythingbut right by the book and just common
values. Bernie, I mean, what can we do to truly impact and
save our education. Well, wetook we took faith out of our schools.
That was a big problem. Kidsshould have been every day realizing that

(15:39):
there's something bigger than us. Whoeverthere God is, I'm not there getting
obviously one religion, but faith. You know, our founders never intended to
take faith out of our government. You know, God, we trust these
are people of strong faith and convictions. We took it out of our school's
big mistake. We took the pledgeof allegiance of our school bigger mistake right

(16:02):
because we didn't teach teach him thatthere was an important God that drove everything,
that gave us this country that weshould be so proud of. The
ultimate privilege is living in America. That's the ultimate privilege. So I think
we did that, But the questionis how do we fix it? We
will first once put that back in. How do we do that? Anybody
who's listening to this broadcast, youneed to look internally and say, can

(16:22):
I go on a school board? Can I help elect a school board member?
How do I recruit a good schoolboard? Remember, how do I
work hard for that school board member? We got to take it back at
all levels. So we started theschool board really important me as if I
had the honor of the United StatesCenter from Ohio. I obviously long term

(16:44):
goal will be to get rid ofthe Department of Education. But in the
immediate like day one, day thirty, day sixty, it's how do we
de weaponize the Department of Education soit stops being the catalyst for this indoctrination.
We take the range and control. We control the budget. The Congress
controls the budget. Department of Education. We defund them until they get their

(17:07):
acts straight, which is they can'tbe pushing this division, this exclusion.
It's indoctrination, agenda on our kids. It's wrong. And we all of
us conservative or not conservative, it'slet's just go back to common sense.
What do you want your kids learningin school? Math, science, critical
thinking, history, gender ideology.Absolutely, Now you're not going to teach

(17:30):
up first second, Jack, yourdaughter, come on, she's not ready
for that conversation, right, That'snot what we should be teaching our kids
at school. To hate each other. It's it's gross, it's wrong,
and we just see to speak withone voice and say no that it doesn't
mean by the way that we judgepeople who are twenty five, thirty five,
forty five, fifty five, whomay have different ideas, that's they're

(17:52):
adults. These are our kids.We have to protect and save our kids.
I agree with that wholeheartedly. I'vehad to have that tough conversation.
I'm gonna get personal with you herefor a minute. With my daughter,
she came home a couple of monthsago and started telling you that she felt
guilty and I said, well whyand she said because of my color,

(18:14):
because I love Jesus, and Ijust feel like they don't understand me there
at school. That's that's not aconversation I should have with the fourth grader
who should be, you know, mastering her multiplication tables and state capitals.
And you know, I've talked withg Van Fleet in the past, and
she and her family fled Red China, Communist China. And when you hear

(18:34):
her talk about the intentional divisiveness thathappened there, and you're seeing it.
You're seeing it with the Department ofEducation, You're seeing it with the indoctrination
of our kids. And I getsick and tired of people saying, oh,
there's no indoctrination, be as it'sone hundred percent indoctrination. So let
me ask you this, and I'mkind of long winded. I'm gonna really

(18:56):
try to do this quickly. JimJordan and I talked a long while ago,
right after the election, and hesaid, look, you're not going
to stop the train. The bestwe can do is take back the house
in the Senate, slow it downand we need a Republican in the White
House in twenty four. Now,I believe in twenty four that the Republicans
can take back the Senate. I'mnot so sure based on how things are

(19:17):
going to the Republicans can take backthe White House. Do you think that
they can? And who's the bestcandidate to get that done? President Trump
will be our nominee and President Trumpwill be our forty tentns president. I
equivocally believe that to be true. Here, let me make my case to
you this way. In the twentytwenty election, we had a media that

(19:38):
in a big tech specifically around Twitter, that did everything they could to silence
stories that were positive about Donald Trumpand the silent stories that were negative about
Joe Biden, the hunter buying Latopstory being the easiest example. We were
told that that story was fake,it was Russian misinformation. We know now

(19:59):
that it was actually worse than wethought. In one hundred percent accurate.
We saw that the Biden family iscorrupt and actually owned by China. Had
we known in November twenty twenty thatthat was true, there's no question that
forty three thousand people and three swingstates would have voted differently, and what's
changed since then? What's changed sincethen? First of all, Elon Musk

(20:22):
is free Twitter number one, Numbertwo, Conservatives now understand that they have
to look at media with even amore john this last. But more importantly,
we have a track record. JoeBiden has been president United States for
at that next year, I'll bealmost four years. And you can easily
compare it to say, here wasfour years under Biden, here was four

(20:44):
years under Trump. And even thoughpsychotically anti trumpers out there, you can
ask the question, which four yearsdied you prefer? I mean, it's
not a hard question. And bythe way, of course, they weaponized
the virus. You know, ifBiden had been president when COVID hit,
we would never seen lockdowns, wewould never seen mass mandates. By the

(21:06):
way, we never even gotten avaccine. None of that would have happened.
So all those things are going tobe different next year. The American
people know what's up. They knowthat inflations crushing them. They know that
the government is out of control. They know our form look at spina globe,
spin a globe and randomly point atit. That part of the world
is on fire because of Joe Biden. Our energy resources have been depleted.

(21:27):
You know. He emptied out ourstrategic petroleum reserves to try to win an
election in the mid terms, andby the way it worked, he got
gassed down to three twenty five agallon where it should have been four because
he convinced our allies and in ourown stock piles to basically the depolice reserves
to win an election. So Ithink all this will be out there and

(21:49):
we're going to get our country back. I mean, I wouldn't be running
from the United States of a jackif I didn't know that January twenty twenty
five. We have a Republican House, Republican Senate, and Donald Trump who's
going to fight like hell and haslearned so much of how much the machine
works that we will we need himfor those four years to write the ship

(22:11):
back from this insanity. I justworry about what happens for the next eighteen
months on its way, what moredisasters as Biden do. But I'm very
optimistic we'll get our country back.Trump will be back in the White House,
and things will be good by ourtwo hundred and fifty anniversary New Or
We talked about that before. Yeah. Absolutely. You know, Josh and
I were just talking about this ashort time ago, that the track record

(22:33):
that Joe Biden has, you lookat it and you go, it's statistically
impossible to be that bad. Thishas to be intentional. And I want
to kind of echo and give anexample of what you said earlier about people
may be awake. Now. Youknow, I saw a man that said
the difference between a conspiracy theory anda fact is about six months and soon

(22:55):
after the election, Molly Ball atTime magazine, this giddy article about a
group of cabal is what she calledhim. That absolutely was behind the scenes
pulling the levers. Twitter files hasshown us that not only was social media
colluding, you know, the companiesthat comprise the social media industry, but
the FBI was involved. And butthen you see headlines like today senior IRS

(23:18):
agent blows whistle alleging Biden DJ thwartingcriminal prosecution of Hunter Biden. And so
not only is it social media nownow the DOJ has been weaponized. And
I don't know where I'm going withthis other than to say, you're absolutely
right, we're not years away.I mean, where are we're going to
be in eighteen months, and tome, it comes down to can President
Trump withstand Joe Biden. He's gonnait's gonna be He's gonna be a one

(23:41):
trick pony Orange man bad. That'sit. It's all he can run on.
But can President Trump get those independentvoters to vote for him? Now?
I think what I'm hearing a lotnow is that, Hey, I
kind of like this to Santas guy. But you know, the Republicans will
probably rally around Trump and maybe haveenough there to get done with some independent
voters. I hope you're right.And I don't even know if there's a

(24:03):
question there, Pernie, Well,no, no, I think I think
I think run Defense has been agreat covernor of Florida. As you know,
my family lives down there, andobviously I owned property down there's I
grew up there. I've been agreat governor for Florida. But he just
gotta let them. You just gottaleft them the very expensive race to serve
four years of governor of Florida. One of my one of my absolute annoyances
for politicians is you get elected forone job, do that job. I

(24:27):
do that job, don't immediately startrunning for another one plus on top of
that, he's not ready to bepresident United States. Donald Trump has the
experience. He's the one guy thatcan solve Ukraine. And let me just
say this because it's you know,I've never really spoken about this publicly,
so give an exclusive here. Ididn't actually think I would run again,

(24:48):
Jack. It's it's you know,I spent my thirty years working really hard
to build a nice life for myselfand my wife and my kids. I
didn't. I've never aspired to bea political officeholder. That's just never a
dreams about. I dreamed about buildinga great life and then joining it with
my wife and my kids. Theday after the last election in the midterms,

(25:11):
literally the day after the election,Matt Dlan sent an email that made
me change my mind. He sentan email to all the county party chairs
the state Central Committee, and itsaid that the Republicans have to be get
ready to move beyond being a electiondeniers and conspiracy theorists. Think about that
for a second. A Republican theday after that loss already is ready to

(25:36):
say, see, I told youso, elected me. We'll go back
to the good old days when Republicansare Democrats. Would go to DC and
village this country and leave well enoughalone. And by the way, using
left wing, extreme left wing talkingpoints against conservatives. And by the way,
we're not conspiracy theories theorist, wewere right. Just give it a

(25:57):
year. All these conspiracies, yeah, all these right wing conspiracy theories come
true, don't work. You're right, Jack, You and I. You
and I met during the height ofCOVID, right, yeah, and I
got our butts kicked, butt kickedduring COVID. We were called all the
names of the book. We basicallywere accused of killing people. Yes,

(26:18):
daily, right, mass don't work. The vaccine doesn't stop the spread.
Asking a young person to take avaccine is ridiculous, It's going to be
harmful, right, This thing primarilyaffects obest people, old people, or
people who are sex Closing schools isa grotesque policy. We said all these
things and what we call conspiracy theorists, right jobs here. So here's so,

(26:41):
here's Matt Dolan November twenty twenty two, taking those left wing talking points
and saying, this is the reasonyou need elected, because I'm going to
be the good guy. And thenfast forward two months later, goes on
National TV and says he's not certainif he would support President Trump if Trump
was a nominee of the Republican Party, my son's dog. If he were

(27:04):
the nominee of the Republican Party,I would vote for because he would do
a better job than Joe Biden. The fact that it's ambiguous to you as
to whether he used to support Trumpas a nominee or support Biden. The
fact that that's ambiguous, I'm sorry, that's not ambiguous now now, and
let me tell you something. Thisis Trump country. This, Ohio is

(27:25):
a nine points back to back, eight and a half points, whatever you
want to call it. You know, get down, Parson, Yeah,
sixteen and twenty. This is Trumpcountry. And you know, to have
someone again. This is what Isaid, This is how I set this
up. If you remember, goingback to the beginning of this. We
have a very clear difference right nowbetween the two GOP candidates. We have

(27:51):
Trump backed, you know, notofficially endorsed yet, but but Trump positive,
Trump backed America first, Conservatism, old guard, establishment, Bushish,
whatever you want to call it.Oh a Republican rhino Republican politics. Now,

(28:14):
that's there's no ambiguity. I thinkamongst conservatives, because if that were
the case, I don't think JDjd Vance would not be a city in
US senator. Right now, thisis Trump country. And for someone to
want to run for the Senate inOhio and then say there they don't think

(28:36):
or they could not support Trump,I mean that is to me. Yeah,
it's not a question if you likethe Santis, but a Trump won.
The question was Trump won and nowhe's the nominee him or not?
Holy crap, No, that's fine, that's good here. I mean it
would be that is crazy. You'reright, I believe I'm about to say

(29:00):
this, so we may have toedit this out, but it would be
one thing if if if this wereBill Clinton. Now, Bill Clinton did
a lot of things wrong, butcertain things in his administration hadn't. The
wheels hadn't fallen off. Did hemisplaced a couple of cigars? Okay?
And and staying the blue dress? We know what that was. But you
know we weren't in free fall economicallyand trying to start World War three?

(29:22):
Right, But the wheels have fallenoff the wagon that the bolts have fallen
out, the handle's fallen off,and that thing's on fire. If you're
gonna tell me that you're you're gonnahave a hard time. Joe Badener,
Donald Trump. Let's see, economywas great under Trump. But dude,
no more mean tweets anything. I'llvote for Joe Biden might come on,

(29:42):
stop this nonsense. I mean,why would anyone say that that's it's a
pathologically anti trumpers. And like Isaid, there's there's a population about out
there that's fine. It's certainly not. Which is by the way, if
one or two other people jump inthis race and he spends enough family money,
he could win. With that scarysituation. That's what scares me.

(30:06):
And that's why I'm I'm imploring.I'm begging. I am begging, and
I will do this every day onthe Mark Blazers Show. I will keep
beating this drum on the Saving Libertypodcast. Here I am I implore anybody
who thinks they want to jump intothis race. You do not have to
do this. Stop we have youare not going to you know, uh,

(30:30):
you know, Bernie someone The onlyway I could see this coming up
is somebody who thinks, why I'mI'm more Trumpier. Well, if that's
the case, I mean, hell, based on Tim Ryan's ads last cycle,
Tim Ryan should have flag T shirtjump into this race. I've changed
my part. But yeah, soanyway, I just I implore, you

(30:56):
know, please don't do this.We have two choice is here in Ohio
and I've laid him out clearly.I don't need to repeat myself. So
and Jack, I know we're gonnalet Bernie go here. He's busy man.
So you your final thoughts here,Jack, what did you want to
say? Yeah, just a coupleof things. This is a huge race,
and uh, it's it's gonna comedown to the wire, I think,

(31:18):
and I think it's gonna take. It's gonna be a slug fest to
beat Shared Brown. He's gonna raisea boat load outside money is going to
over the place. It's gonna beinsane. It's gonna be crazy. So
Bernie, I just want to ask, you know, Uh, last election
cycle, we did the the OhioPress Network GOP forums. Are you in
if we do those again? I'lldo him every day a day. Let's

(31:42):
go well in the time of place, I'll be there, you know what,
And I and I'm you know,I'll say the same thing, you
know there? You know if ifif the Mark Blazer Show, If Mark,
if Mark, can you know andI can get you and Matt in
the studio for an hour to debate. I'd do with live radio debate.
I don't think you'd be scared ofthat, would you. I will cancel

(32:04):
whatever I have on my calendar todo it. There, you go it
later, and let me just letme just say this before I leave,
because it is really important for yourlisteners and if you can reinforce this.
When Democrats hear conservatives conservative ideas andit goes through their twisted, sad minds
and they hear something they don't like, they go online and donate money to
their candidates through ACTULO. They'll donatefive dollars, ten dollars, fifteen dollars.

(32:28):
They they're trained to do that, quite literally, trained to do that.
When Republicans hear these messages that we'retalking about, hey, which are
which are correct? We're losing ourcountry, We're upset, They'll go on
Facebook and write five paragraphs for therams. I get it, but at
the end of the day, weneed If you like what you heard,
If you like what you heard,go to Bernie Marina dot com. Bernie

(32:51):
Marino dot com donate five dollars, ten dollars, fifty dollars because this has
to be a well funded grassroots campaign. I don't think it's good for democracy
for wealthy people to write a big, fat check and buy themselves a senate
seed will I will put in myresources. Don't get me wrong, but
I am not going to write acheck that allows me to buy a senency.

(33:13):
It's not good for democracy. Ineed that five dollars contribution, at
ten dollar contribution, at fifteen dollarscontribution. Char Brown will outraige me.
Don't get me wrong, but heoutraiged Jim Ornacy thirteen to one. We
can't allow something like that to happen. And by the way, only one
by five points, only one byfive points. Jim almost beat him.

(33:34):
Had Jim had find it has hadparody in terms of funding, we'd have
Senator n Ac right now. Sowe need all of your listeners to dig
in. I know it's hard.I know it's hard if you can't afford
fifty T twenty five. And that'sthat's my plea to all of your listeners
to really understand that we need them. It may be hard today, but
it's going to be a hell ofa lot harder tomorrow. Yeah, don't

(33:57):
get the work done. It reallyis. And so you know, the
choices are clear. Everyone else pleasestay out of the field. Just just
let let let let Bernie and Mattdebate ideas and the patriotic conservatives in Ohio.
We will make a decision on primaryelection day because we like to actually

(34:19):
show up and vote at the polls. But yeah, again, and your
last name for anybody's wondering, BernieMarino m O r E n O.
Not like Dan Marino, same pronunciation, just different spelling m O R E
n O. So Bernie Marino dotcom. H Bernie. Thanks for coming
on this podcast. This will notbe the last time we taught to you,

(34:39):
