And the cracking power play.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Lord.
Speaker 3 (00:02):
This is the Krek Postgame Show, brought to you by
Toyota of Olympia. Now for an in depth look at
your Kraken Hockey. It's the post Game. I'm the Global
Credit Union Kraken Audio Network.
Speaker 4 (00:17):
Three two Chicago takes down the Blackhawks here on the road.
It was probably not the best two periods of action
that we saw for Seattle, but they found a way
to battle back and recover a three to two win.
Three unanswered goals from Ty Cartier, Shane Wright, and the
(00:37):
winner on the power play from James Schwartz his eighth
of the season now with the team lead for him.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yeah, I love too that the first two goals were
greasy goals that kind of just opened your mindset a
little bit to what it's going to take to get
the goals up on the board there. And then uh
Karscha with the first one, Shane right with the second one,
both deflection goals, and then the winner obviously Jayden Schwartz
with a signature goal for him. He just loves to
get on that back post and if you can get
the puck to him, it's going to go off his blade.
Office skate off his shin pad into the back of
(01:06):
the net about eight of every ten times.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
We heard what ty Carga said after period two about
needing to shoot the puck more, needing to do more
to generate offense. Well, I think they listened Partner twelve
three kracking out shooting Chicago in that third period.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
Well.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
I also asked to ty Karchae about physicality as well,
because the first half of the game it was not
a very physical game. Well, yeah, did fifteen to nine
Seattle's favors, so they continue to play physical even through
the final frame as.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Well, Joey Decord in this game, it was charged with
some big saves early in the game. Things did kind
of level out a little bit as the game went on,
but I think defensively as well as much as the
offense picked up in that period, defensively for Seattle, they
had some really good opportunities, some really good plays, and
I think none better than the Ryan Lindren chase down
(01:54):
of Connor Badar to lift his stick without getting the
penalty it was, but who was berating the officials. He
got the sportsmanlike penalty ultimately leading to that game winning goal.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah, and you know he's recently been given a letter
on his jersey and that's something you don't want to
see from your leaders. He's going to learn from that
that that's not the last time he's going to be
taken down on a breakaway and not get a call
on it. So you got to control your emotions there,
and it hurts even a little bit more when the
other team goes out and scores. But I actually think
about ford it big plays. It was that one as well.
It was the Ryan Linkren hit early in the game
(02:28):
on Andre Barakoffki. It was the Jamie Alexiak hit as
well on Taravinen. All big plays. But the biggest one
I also think was Matty Benier's. Yeah that when he
went out there, gave a stick to Alexiak on that
play and blocked the first shock, blocked the passing lane,
tried to get the puck out with his hands. That
showed real, real leadership on his part.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
And it was a big game by him, first career
game for Oscar Fisker Moleguard as well. At six and
a half minutes of ice time. What did you make
of his play tonight here?
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, he got the primary assistant on that first goal
the game by ty Karsha, and you know, I think
that's enough for him, Like, listen, it's your first NHL game.
I'm not surprised the bench got tightened up in that
third period and he probably didn't see much of the
ice in the last ten minutes of the game. But
last ten minutes of the game, this team was still
looking to get back in the game, and they were
looking for offense, and I think you go to your
(03:15):
trusted lines a little bit more in those situations, and
also you can't give up any more goals as well.
So I wasn't surprised to see the bench get shorten
and Oscar Fiskermolgard be impacted by that, but I give
him an AA plus. He had a good game tonight,
got that first assist.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
We're waiting the arrival of Bertley Catt and I thought

Final Times a Night, Welcome Back inside of You. I
had a censor here in Chicago, Illinois. The West Sloop
alongside Alconiski. I am Everett fits you the Seattle Kraken
with a come from behind three two victory over the
Chicago Blackhawks as we await the arrival of Berkeley Catton.
So they're one and one to start this road trip.
(06:17):
Two big games coming up against Pittsburgh on Saturday, then
on Long Island against the Islanders on Sunday. Is Now
we head down to the dressing room. Berkeley Catton had
an assist here tonight. Berkeley a wild one here tonight
for your group. Just take us through your thoughts on
the first forty compared to the last twenty.
Speaker 12 (06:38):
Uh yeah, I think you know, like you said, the
perse forty were more we wanted, but I think it
chose a lot about our group.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Probab.
Speaker 12 (06:43):
We came home the third and rally back and ultimately
got the.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
One well line shuffling out there tonight, Berkeley moving around
a little bit. What did you think about that was
easy to adjust?
Speaker 12 (06:51):
Yeah, I mean everyone our teams so good, So just
you get out there with different players, that's right, Just
kind of go do your thing. And I think you know,
we did a good job that tonight.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
I did a I remember talking to you this morning.
I thought you had your first in Detroit. I thought
Fisker Molcar got his first year tonight in Chicago.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
But what did you What did you like.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
About his game here this evening? You were in a
very similar spot a few weeks ago, your first NHL
point in your first NHL game. How'd you like his
game tonight?
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (07:19):
I thought it was great.
Speaker 12 (07:20):
Obviously you can you can tell he's played a lot
of pro hockey. Yeah, just you know how how good
his details are and stuff, and you know, he was
awesome in the right spot at the right time and
that showed. So happy for him, and that's a good
first one Berkeley.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Obviously, these kind of games down to nothing going to
the third period where you battle back to winning a
regulation or huge obvious you know for the two points,
but just what does it do for the locker room?
What does it do for the team going forward?
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Ah?
Speaker 12 (07:42):
Yeah, you know, I think it, just like I said before,
shows a lot about you know, how we can rally together,
and obviously we don't want to be in that situation,
but yep, you know, when we are having that abilities
is huge. So really really happy with that.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
Hey, congrats on your fourth career point. I got your
first career goal coming before this road. Tip's over. I'm
call it right now like that.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Hey, congrats on the win. Brother, We'll talk to you
down the road.
Speaker 12 (08:04):
Get thank you all right.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
Bertley Catton with an assist here tonight, finally capping off
this win for Seattle three to two, over to Chicago
out rap.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Up a few key takeaways for me, not enough shots,
but enough high danger chances in the first period. But
wait for my final point to counter that. The greasy
goals that Seattle got there in the second period. In
the third period, just fantastic Karchie with the deflection off
his knee, right with his deflection off the stick, just
getting the ball rolling was huge with those kinds of
gold goals. Oscar fiskeer Moolgor with his first NHL assist,
(08:35):
that was huge tonight. Seattle out hitting Chicago in that
in that third period fifteen to nine, and I think
that played a lot into the outcome of this game.
And then the final point, going back to shots on
goal chances in the third period, Seattle twelve shot attempts,
Chicago two. Chicago was not playing to win. They were
playing to not lose, and Seattle hurt them for that,
(08:55):
hidinger chances three zero Seattle's favor in the third as well.
Three stars brought to you by Mamakay. Third start to
night goes to Chicago's Tyler Bertuzzi. He had a goal
and assist. He was sixty seven percent in the dot.
Second star goes to Seattle's Brandon Montur to assist three
shots on goal. He's never seen a shot he won't take,
And the first star goes to the game winning goal
(09:18):
gentleman Jaden Schwartz with a one goal game and a
plus one rating.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
That'll wrap it up here for us from Chicago, thanks
to Bill Karen Bellas sitting to my left pushing the

an ominous tone Tyler Bertuzzi's scoring forty three seconds into
the frame, tenth goal of the season in his return
to the lineup Tabo Tarravin and Frankie Nazar with the
(15:38):
assists finishing off a three on one, then the Blackhawks
going up to nothing after an unfortunate turn of events
off a tripping penalty to goaltender Joey de Cord and
tarra Vin and parking his fifth goal the season in
front Bertuzi and RTM Lefschanov, the assist coming at ten
oh seven of the second period on the power play.
(15:58):
All Right time Now for our play of the game.
Let's go to the phones. Caller seven. You're on Cracking postgame,
Adrian in Spokane. You're on right now? How are you, Adrian,
Adrian and Spokane. Hello, you're on with us?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Can you hear us?
Speaker 9 (16:15):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (16:15):
I am on.
Speaker 10 (16:16):
Hi Adrian. Can you tell us the play of the
game here for tonight?
Speaker 4 (16:20):
Yes, it is big Rig Jamie Alexiak, big hit in
the second period.
Speaker 10 (16:24):
Congratulations, Adrian, you are our winner. Let's cue this up
right now. The thunderous hit from the big.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
Rig Oscar Fisker BullGuard on the four Zech Chicago gets
through it. Tammy Alexiak, massive hit on the far side.
Guess Elia the cracket, Well, ice the puck. But Jamie
Alexiak with your play.
Speaker 10 (16:47):
Of the game, Adrian in Spokane was certainly listening, and
because of that, Adrian has won two tickets to an
upcoming Cracking game. The Big Rig Jamie Alexiak and his
seven hundredth career NHL game laying in that big hit
part of the foundation to help launch and come back
with a cracking down two nothing at the end of
two periods of play. But again time not on their
(17:09):
side and they made a point to get after it.
We're played toward the front of the net. That helping
out a five ZHO nine a period three tie. Car
Schier getting a deflection his second goal of the season,
not Brandon Montour's point shot. Oscar Fisker Muleguard in there
on a screen as well, got a piece of the
shot and picks up a point in his NHL debut
with a assist, and that got the krake in on
(17:31):
the board. Down two to one, they go right back
again to the same place. I want to help out
here looking for the game time goal.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Here is Shane right again below the goal. Live Caton
takes it away on the left wing side, grizzlick all
over him, Caton up top.
Speaker 18 (17:47):
If it shoots.
Speaker 20 (17:48):
Tscals, Shane right redirects the.
Speaker 4 (17:57):
Puck in in front. Had a Seattle tithe the game.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Two two twelve forty seven to play in the third
well much with the ty Kartjerk goal. It's right out
in front and he's right in for a Spencer night.
He gets his played out as the riker rebends, shot
comes and hits the top of his plate, finds the
back of the net.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
This game's tied at two.
Speaker 10 (18:20):
Two screens two deflections two goals two nothing le deficit
up in smoke courtesys Shane Wright seven thirteen the time
of the goal coming in period three. Ryker Evans had
the assist on the play on Wright's fifth goal of
the season. Berkeley Catton as well. The future is certainly bright.
This would be a theme. He also had an assist
on the play, and the Kraken had the Blackhawks and
(18:42):
a vice at this point, with the game of the
balance all tight at two at seven thirteen of period three.
After that, Connor Bandar threatening to give Chicago the lead,
trying to get a partial breakaway and get past the fence,
the Ryan Lindgren recovering with a nifty poe check from
the hind, lifting Badard stick then Badard unleashing a meltdown.
(19:05):
As far as his emotions on the officials, he was
given an abuse of officials penalty at fifteen forty four.
And how would the crack and power play respond.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
Bason Marshmitt far point, Evans walk into the middle, back
hands it off to Marshmitt. Now Montour takes his turn.
Montour left circle, Montor back door two.
Speaker 21 (19:27):
Staden swarts on the power play, Kids Duck cracking a
three to two lead to eighteen.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
To play in the third well.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
It starts with Mason Marksman up top, finding Montour jumping
down the wall. Montour stick is shot the whole time,
but he sees seventeen on the back door where he
loves to hang out.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
He puts it right onto his tape in.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
The back of the net, tracking three Chicago two.
Speaker 10 (19:52):
This is what good teams do, folks, where belief meets
opportunity and the Kraken getting three goals in this rally
and come back no more then basically five feet away
from the goalposts and Jayden Schwartz parking the eventual game
winning goal of seventeen forty two a period three coming
in the power play, eighth goal on the year from
Brandon on Tour and Mason Marchman with the assist, the
(20:14):
Kraken making Chicago pay for the Beadard penalty, going up
three to two. After that, Chicago poland goaltender Spencer Knife
for the extra attacker, but could do nothing with it,
and the Kraken shut the door on Chicago for a
thriller three to two. With the rally and their win
over the Chicago Blackhawks. Your final shots on net twenty
(20:36):
seven to twenty four in favor of the Kraken, one
of three, the Kraken goal on the power play, Chicago
going one of two and the wind net going to
Joey to Cord persevering with a twenty two save effort.
Spencer Knight takes a loss of net on twenty four
saves time. Now for the cors Light chillis moments of
the game. Cracking fans, you can win your chance to
(20:56):
sit in the Corslight silver seats. Go to corse Light
dot com forward slash the yellow Craken to enter must
be twenty one years of age. No purchase necessary, cores
Light juice. Chill celebrate responsibly. Back into period two. It's
Matty Beineer's with no stick but not giving up.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
Now blastic again right side high blue line, left shot,
off shot and Mattyvaneers will block that one Many Beaneers
no stick, hobbling all the ice and she'll stay in
the play. Another shot blocked by Matty Vaneers. Two in
a row, but Chicago keeps the puck alive.
Speaker 10 (21:28):
Matter of fact, the crack and had the edge and
block shots at ten to six, filling shot lanes and
that enact of leadership of Matty Baniers's part to get
in the way from that point. Then into period three
and the Kraken looking to light the fuse down to nothing, but.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Darn pokes it up for the line where it's held
in by Montour. Montour back to the blue line of
shot ten.
Speaker 20 (21:50):
Stools branded Monteur above. From the blue line it's redirected
out in at the Seattle Crockett are on the board.
Oscar Fisker bull Guard. We'll leave the handshake line. That
will be his first goal in the National Hockey League.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Oscar Fisker Moullguard right in front of Spencer Night and
it looks like it may have gone off Kim and
then ty krc yeah into the back of the net.
But the point there is is that it was a
big shot by Montur. Couple levels of screens in front
Oscar Fisker, Mollguard's one of them, Ty Carcier is the other.
Speaker 10 (22:31):
It was so close to Fisker Mouleguard's first NHL goal,
but he'll take the assist anyway, and becomes the second
Danish player in NHL history to record a point in
his NHL debut and joins Lars Eller, who did that
back in the nine to ten season, the Cracking with
that goal there turning point Oscar Fisker mouleguard and assist
in his NHL debut. Time down for the big win
(22:52):
brought to you by the Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling
and over time we go here for the Flyers and
the Saint Louis Blues.
Speaker 13 (23:00):
Sandheim gets into the fire quarter canaan, he's gotta go
back for that and leaves it for Sandai Ma. He'll
skate up the fireside. Sandai'm in with Coturrey. Sandhaim shoots
his coss Comel Sandhai with his fourth career overtime winner.
That the Fire's doing again for the eighth time this season.
(23:20):
They come from behind to beat the Blues in this one,
three to two, and.
Speaker 10 (23:25):
That also got Philly to one point out of the
cut line in the Eastern Conference. Tim Saunders had that
call ninety seven to five, f them the fanatic final
