are the kind of Knights that makeit really hard for fans to want to

those who are doubting, there ishope. There's an offseason, there's trades,
there's a draft, there's free agency, but they've got some heavy lifting
to do because everything they built uplast season disappeared this year. There's a

you have a chance to win almostevery night. But they've got to tweak
some things and it probably starts internally, and it's sad, and here's here's
the one thing. But we're gonnaget to Dave Hackstall in just a bit.
This team missed the playoffs second timein three seasons. But it's not

stuff. And that's my Mike,that's my point, like like like I
wouldn't trade this roster for the teamthat beat him tonight, not even close.

Like and fifty one can play likethere's questions, is he had number
one center, number two? Ishe a three? He'd be a great
three. He's probably a two.But you see when he plays with two
really good players, he makes adifference. He goes to the front of

some other guys this season that justflat out disappeared. And that's why the

again was a microcosm of the entireseason in the final home game tonight.

we didn't spend a whole lot oftime in our defensive zone. You

that we executed with the puck andgot out of the zone and didn't have

by nature, because we didn't findthe back of the net with the puck,

some of the some of the focusis going to go to the the
goals against that went in, andyou know that the two goals two quick
goals in, you know, inthe second period in particular, ones off
and a zone face off, andyou know one is another situation getting beat
up ice and and you know,just being slow sorting it in the defensive

zone. In reality, we didn'thave much of that. We didn't have
much time in our defensive zone.I think we had over one hundred shot
attempts tonight. So you know,my folks would go back to the first
period and in you know, findinga way to to get on the board,

Had some really good looks and playingalongside Jeremycanner. Yeah, you had
a couple of really good looks.Unfortunate as we went through the third period,
he got lost a little bit,so he didn't you know, he
can get a ton of ice timein the third. But he's you know,
he's done a nice job Wentz.You know, he's he's found a
way, you know, in theAmerican American Hockey League to become a consistent

and valuable score five on and youknow, he's found some of those chances
here hasn't been able to find theback of the net. You know.
The the positive is his you know, his two way play and the fact
that he is finding a couple ofthose chances, and there will come a
day when you know he's ready toyou know, to bury those chances at
this level. Jayden Schwartz won anaward voted by his teammates all about perseverance

and character for the second year ina row. What does he mean to
this group from your perspective, showsup in battles every day. You know,
he's had to come back from froma couple of different injuries along the
way, and I mean does thework to do that. You know,
he's he's a guy that he doesn'tsay a lot in the dressing room,
but he's very well respected in hisactions speak volumes. One of the obviously

wasn't an issue, but what didyou think about the shot valleys third period?
I didn't think was good enough interms of the chances we were able
to generate. We we had somereally good you know, we ended up
