game is the seventh ending of back to back situations
and it shows the crack and maybe in the recent
going they're getting the hang of this. They are two

to two in two this year in the second game
of back to backs, but last four outings to zero
and two, allowing just one point seven goals per game.
As well, when you think about the previous fifteen games,
all fifteen losses, they gave up three point nine goals
per game, so they are certainly tightening the screws defensively
when they have to in these tough matchups, but yet

facing Boston it could be another tough matchup out of
the Eastern Conference. The cracking three to five and six
against the East this year, but against the Bruins they
own a three to one record over the last four outings.
So the Kraken could really use two points here for
the seating because up next it gets a little bit
tougher as well. They're back home here but facing a
ret hot Minnesota team with Quinn Hughes on Thursday, and

then on the road against Carolina on Saturday, which opens
up a five game road trip Hurricanes first, then the Rangers,
New Jersey, Boston and Utah as well. With a crack

put Boston here to the test, certainly, but they're two
to one to one in that stretch, winning back to
back games and also coming into this game two days
of rest here in Seattle. They have two players that
have helped put them in the upper half of offense

in the league, twelfth in the NHL at three point
one goals the game, which means they have been top
David Pasternach forty six points leads the Bruins. Morgan Geeky
remember him, forty one points, he's second next closest. He
goes down to twenty six points here, tied with Pavel
Zaka and Elias Linholm in that respect. So right now,
Posternach and Geeky doing a heavy load. As far as

carrying this offense right now and keeping the game at
five on five, that's been an issue here for them.
The Bruins taking fourteen point two penalty minutes per game,
that's most in the NHL. They have taken one hundred
and eighty three minor penalties that is most also in
the NHL, which means the penalty kill and as we're
seeing the pretty big workload. Seventeenth overall in the league,

they are twentieth on the road, allowing thirteen power play
goals in the last twelve games. We'll see if the
Krack can take advantage of that. Bruin story lines first
up again with the return of Morgan Geeky, the former
kraken Ford as well last year hitting thirty three goals,

third in the NHL. So he's enjoying a massive run. Yeah,
he comes in a bit cold right now, no goals

What do they need to do out to get it
done well?

I wrote the first one down last night after the
first period, A better start. The Kraken don't need a
slow burn tonight. They need a spark, a jolt and
maybe a few legal body checks in the first five
minutes of the period. In the top third of the
league and with thirty seven goals four in the first
period the season, Boston loves jumping on teams early, so
puck management, smart pressure, and skating like your uper's waiting

for you. It has to be a priority. Start on time,
tilt the ice early and make the Bruins chase instead
of posture. And then, secondly, trust the Kraken structure. When
Seattle plays connected hockey, five guys moving as one, multiple
layers in the neutral zone, and no freelance dezone adventures,
the game gets real uncomfortable for the opponent. Stick to
(22:49):
the system, win the walls, and let the structure do
the heavy lifting. It's not flashy, but it's effective and
it drives skill teams absolutely nuts. And then third dim
the ruined stars. Boston's big names don't need a spotlight.

You know what it takes to play in this league,
it takes to win in this league. It's a different
league than anyone's ever been to and ever seen. And

a four goal third period with a Krack and knocked
off the Flames five to one. Milestones galore across the board.
We mentioned Shane Right a game winning goal in his
twenty second birthday, Jacob Alanson getting his first career NHL goal,
Jordan Everley in game eleven hundred of his NHL career,
plus two rating, one block shot, Adam Larson point two

point fifty of his career, and Philip Grubauer having a
remarkable season picking up a season high forty one saves
in the win where the Kraken overcame a slug as
start grew. Bauer also stopping a penalty shot on Jonathan
Huberto and the Kraken in that third period. Their four
goals that tied for the franchise most in the third
period of one game, and now the seven to zero

to one record they owned last eight games is the
second best in the NHL since December twentieth. Afterward, not
hard to guess the kind of reaction Jacob Malonson would
have the scoring his first career NHL goal.

That's only a dream of as a kid. I mean,
like I said before, playing the NHL game is cool,
but getting our first goal is unreal. And it's cool
that a game from wins, so it means a lot.

So for the Kraken and Jacob Malonson. They left Calgary
their emotions dialed up sky high, and now it requires
a quick turn of the page asking can they dial
it back up once again against the Boston Bruins. This
game is the seventh ending of back to back situations
and it shows the crack and maybe in the recent
going they're getting the hang of this. They are two
(10:14):
to two in two this year in the second game
of back to backs, but last four outings to zero
and two, allowing just one point seven goals per game.
As well, when you think about the previous fifteen games,
all fifteen losses, they gave up three point nine goals
per game, so they are certainly tightening the screws defensively
when they have to in these tough matchups, but yet
(10:36):
facing Boston it could be another tough matchup out of
the Eastern Conference. The cracking three to five and six
against the East this year, but against the Bruins they
own a three to one record over the last four outings.
So the Kraken could really use two points here for
the seating because up next it gets a little bit
tougher as well. They're back home here but facing a
ret hot Minnesota team with Quinn Hughes on Thursday, and

then on the road against Carolina on Saturday, which opens
up a five game road trip Hurricanes first, then the Rangers,
New Jersey, Boston and Utah as well. With a crack
and right now having to navigate one change in their lineup.
Ellie Tolvenin is out this evening due to illness. It's
his first game that he'll miss all season, which means
Ty Cartier is back in after sitting in the last

four games. Ryan Winterton also as a result, moving up
to Ellie Tolvenan's spot in the lineup and he'll play.
It looks like with Chandler Stevenson and Freddy Goodreau, our
cracking story lines. First up again with the fourth line,
Wrecking Crew Winterton previously a part of that moving elsewhere
this evening, but Tykart back now with Ben Myers and
Jacob Alanson, and that line on the score sheet each

of the last four games, Millonson in particular owning a
four game point streak. Second storyline Joey to coord Innett
North andover origins he faces the Bruins. Last four appearances
for him, he's been sharp at three zero and one,
and he owns a nine to five seven say percentage
in two appearances of his career against Boston. Finally, it

is Vince Dunn's impact last night's goal for him in
period three, moving him to within one goal of becoming
the eight player to score fifty goals with the Kraken.
And he loves home ice. He is one of three
players in the NHL who've got more than seventy five
percent of their offense at home. For players to get
twenty points or more here for this season done owning

sixteen points out of twenty one overall at home. The
only two of the heavier load at that it's William
Neilander of Toronto and Connor McMichael of the Washington Capital.

slow burn tonight. They need a spark, a jolt and
maybe a few legal body checks in the first five
minutes of the period. In the top third of the
league and with thirty seven goals four in the first
period the season, Boston loves jumping on teams early, so
puck management, smart pressure, and skating like your uper's waiting

for you. It has to be a priority. Start on time,
tilt the ice early and make the Bruins chase instead
of posture. And then, secondly, trust the Kraken structure. When
Seattle plays connected hockey, five guys moving as one, multiple
layers in the neutral zone, and no freelance dezone adventures,
the game gets real uncomfortable for the opponent. Stick to

the system, win the walls, and let the structure do
the heavy lifting. It's not flashy, but it's effective and
it drives skill teams absolutely nuts. And then third dim

we've added energy, and all the while we're developing on

if you want to call it that, each game of understanding.
You know what it takes to play in this league,
it takes to win in this league. It's a different
league than anyone's ever been to and ever seen. And
you know, they're doing a good job of sort of
