Yeah, lots of takeaway from the game Monday night. In
that Anaheim win, Shuttle was perfect two on two for
two on the penalty kill. You mentioned defense, Joey Decorda
playing lights out once again. Brandon Montourge goals in three
straight games and in this one the game winning one.

I think the biggest play of that game, however, happened
in the second period Ty Kartsha a big hit on
Leo Carlson, who was not in the game here tonight.
There was a lot of argument and talk about should
that have been an interference penalty on ty Kartja or

have to imagine in the Anaheim locker room, you go

among the top moments Shane Reich at a first period
goal and a statement making game after being scratched for
three in a row one goal, one assist, also and

the Kraken coming back in the third with two goals
in twenty four seconds, Andre Burakowski getting his long sought
after first goal of the season, then Brandon Montor the
eventual game winner on a point shot that got right

the Ducks. Same face as a course from Monday, but

like Trevor Siegris, Troy Terry, even Captain Radcoguda send young

head coach Greg Cronin, they're a team that's talented but
young and still a little raw, yet making a little

half goals per game that is six worst in the league,
power play at fourteen percent that's third worst, penalty kills
seventy one percent that's fourth worst, shots allowed thirty three
per game that has last in the NHL as well.
Plus injuries. Also Mountain Ducks without Cam Fowler, Robbie Fabri
and Brock McGinn Leocarlson, by the way, unfortunately did not

return Monday after colliding with the Post. Did not practice
Tuesday in the Ducks with that recalling defenseman Tyson Hines
from AHL San Diego. Storylines here for the Ducks first

game had the Cracking giving up the puck too much
in their half of the ice. There were fourteen giveaways
in total. Better first passes exiting that D zone will
limit Cracking giveaways. Secondly, keep the defensive gaps tight. You
actually heard Riker Evans talk about that in his interview
(22:52):
a little bit. Anaheim is great on the rush, and
therefore Seattle's defense will need to keep their gaps tight.
They've got youth and speed and will hurt you on
the score if you don't close those gaps quickly. And
then third, win the even strength scoring. All three of
seatl's goals Monday were even strength. Seattle is fifth with
eighty three point six percent of their goals coming into
(23:12):
even strength this season, but Anaheim is six with eighty
two percent. In fact, both teams were a combined zero
for four in the power play down in Anaheim, so
even strength scoring was the only scoring getting done that night.
Tonight's outcome will likely come down to which team is
more successful five on five rather than special teams. The
boys are back in town for a pre Thanksgiving contest.

Tidy up the crack it end of the ice, keep
the defensive gaps tight, win the even strength scoring, and
instead of turkey for dinner, you'll be enjoying some duck
here tonight.

I'd say, listen, some folks do have duck on there
Thanksgiving table. We've talked a lot about the power play
over the last fifteen two for their last twenty three.
Coming into this game, you're going up against one of
the worst pks in the NHL twenty ninth and the
Anaheim Ducks. If something has to give here tonight, last night,
or I guess Monday night, number of posts, a number

of close calls for Seattle, they have to find a
way to bury a few more of those. You've heard Dan,
You've heard Bob, other players talk about We've come so close,
but that excuse can no longer fly.

Sure, Sure, and I think there were four posts the
Kraken had Monday night. I don't know how many were
on the power play, at least a couple of those.
But I think that the goals have to start to
come not necessarily clean, much like the Andre Brukowski's well
we saw the other night, where you just go hard
than that rebound comes up into your chest when you
knock it in. Mccken almost had a goal like that
off of mccartchay shot. That was one of those posts

yep as well, but it might have to come a
little journey before it comes clean. But that's how you
start getting that percentage of going back up in the
right direction.

Yeah, I went back and watched all three goals from
Monday night. But you asked about the Breakowsky and Rights goals.
What I liked about the Breakowsky goal was the battle
in the corner. He was first to the puck in
the offensive zone. You know, he threw a bit of
a body, but he was first to the puck. He
got the puck up the wall to Maddie and then
what he did he went hard to the front of
the net. Same as the Right goal. He got into
a battle and then he went hard to the front

of the net. Starting to see a theme there go
to the front of the net. You get shots from
the point or in this case, from the side on
Berukowski's a goal, and good things happen. Not every time,
you know, you got to pay the price a little bit,
but that's where the good things happened, and both those
guys did.

we had some opportunities, we had some good looks, we
had some posts, we had some pucks behind the goalie that.

You know could lead to frustration.

We find ourselves down to to one throughout those first
two periods and you have to respond in the third.
And I think the frustration didn't build in the guys
kept their nose downs, kept on the game plan, and

that Anaheim win, Shuttle was perfect two on two for
two on the penalty kill. You mentioned defense, Joey Decorda
playing lights out once again. Brandon Montourge goals in three
straight games and in this one the game winning one.

I think the biggest play of that game, however, happened
in the second period Ty Kartsha a big hit on
Leo Carlson, who was not in the game here tonight.
There was a lot of argument and talk about should
that have been an interference penalty on ty Kartja or

have to imagine in the Anaheim locker room, you go

among the top moments Shane Reich at a first period
goal and a statement making game after being scratched for
three in a row one goal, one assist, also and

the Kraken coming back in the third with two goals
in twenty four seconds, Andre Burakowski getting his long sought
after first goal of the season, then Brandon Montor the
eventual game winner on a point shot that got right
through a leaping screen and passed lukash Dostall the Krack

That was the theme of the night. They were sixty

a big impact in the contest of the crack and

cracking at home against the Ducks four straight wins, only

when at home in this series, this offense gets cranking

ice seven power play goals combined as well. Then you

got San Jose up ahead for a home and home
series in San Jose for Black Friday, then back here
the next night, and the Kraken record seven and four
against the Sharks. They have won the last three of
five as well. Home cooking also treating the Kraken very well,
recently five and one in the last six game homestand
but the defensive side of things also getting better the

Crack and allowing two goals or less and all but
one of those games in the homestand, and that was
a four to three overtime win over Vegas back on
November eighth.

Off, begin with carry over from period three Monday here
in two period one tonight, that's when the Krack and
of course going back, earned their first comeback win when
trailing after two periods. The goal scoring was the headline,
but they're play moving it up ice and also some
emotion involved also a big part of it, the Crack
and helping them sell scoring first.

It would help more if they can.

Force the Ducks to chase after one period here in
this building, because when leading after one, the Kraken are
two to zero and one this season, but it's only
happened three times in the first twenty two games. Only
Saint Louis has done this, lest the Kraken would love
to do it more. Secondly, there's again pact to Brandon Montur,
the x Ducks defenseman still playing at an elite level

since the startup this season. He's on a three game
goal scoring streak first time in his career, by the way,
for that, also carrying fifteen points in twenty two games
at is second most by a defenseman on a new team.
Only Shane gossips Spere for Carolina has more with sixteen
points in twenty one games. And finally, here's Matty Benierz's line.
The Kraken saw some positive signs out of what that

trio gave recently. Of notes, Andre Borakowski his right winger
on the board from Monday. He's got fifteen points in
twenty five career games against the Ducks. Also seven points
last seven games in the series. Jared Can fourteen points
in nineteen against Anaheim, and Niers has flat out tortured
the Ducks sixteen points in nine career games against anna Hide. Well,

Speed coming together starts obviously Joe or grooves back there,
moving tucks quick to us, bringing it up, keeping it

All right, Well, first of all, tidy up the d
zone and the neutral zone. No unforced errors. Tonight last
game had the Cracking giving up the puck too much
in their half of the ice. There were fourteen giveaways
in total. Better first passes exiting that D zone will
limit Cracking giveaways. Secondly, keep the defensive gaps tight. You
actually heard Riker Evans talk about that in his interview
(22:52):
a little bit. Anaheim is great on the rush, and
therefore Seattle's defense will need to keep their gaps tight.
They've got youth and speed and will hurt you on
the score if you don't close those gaps quickly. And
then third, win the even strength scoring. All three of
seatl's goals Monday were even strength. Seattle is fifth with
eighty three point six percent of their goals coming into
(23:12):
even strength this season, but Anaheim is six with eighty
two percent. In fact, both teams were a combined zero
for four in the power play down in Anaheim, so
even strength scoring was the only scoring getting done that night.
Tonight's outcome will likely come down to which team is
more successful five on five rather than special teams. The
boys are back in town for a pre Thanksgiving contest.

Tidy up the crack it end of the ice, keep
the defensive gaps tight, win the even strength scoring, and
instead of turkey for dinner, you'll be enjoying some duck
here tonight.

I'd say, listen, some folks do have duck on there
Thanksgiving table. We've talked a lot about the power play
over the last fifteen two for their last twenty three.
Coming into this game, you're going up against one of
the worst pks in the NHL twenty ninth and the
Anaheim Ducks. If something has to give here tonight, last night,
or I guess Monday night, number of posts, a number

of close calls for Seattle, they have to find a
way to bury a few more of those. You've heard Dan,
You've heard Bob, other players talk about We've come so close,
but that excuse can no longer fly.

Sure, Sure, and I think there were four posts the
Kraken had Monday night. I don't know how many were
on the power play, at least a couple of those.
But I think that the goals have to start to
come not necessarily clean, much like the Andre Brukowski's well
we saw the other night, where you just go hard
than that rebound comes up into your chest when you
knock it in. Mccken almost had a goal like that
off of mccartchay shot. That was one of those posts

yep as well, but it might have to come a
little journey before it comes clean. But that's how you
start getting that percentage of going back up in the
right direction.

Players that if it rains, it pours, they get their

Yeah, I went back and watched all three goals from
Monday night. But you asked about the Breakowsky and Rights goals.
What I liked about the Breakowsky goal was the battle
in the corner. He was first to the puck in
the offensive zone. You know, he threw a bit of
a body, but he was first to the puck. He
got the puck up the wall to Maddie and then
what he did he went hard to the front of
the net. Same as the Right goal. He got into
a battle and then he went hard to the front
(25:21):
of the net. Starting to see a theme there go
to the front of the net. You get shots from
the point or in this case, from the side on
Berukowski's a goal, and good things happen. Not every time,
you know, you got to pay the price a little bit,
but that's where the good things happened, and both those
guys did.

Yeah, I think it was a game, a good reaction

game war on in the first two periods, you know,
we had some opportunities, we had some good looks, we
had some posts, we had some pucks behind the goalie that.

You know could lead to frustration.

We find ourselves down to to one throughout those first
two periods and you have to respond in the third.
And I think the frustration didn't build in the guys
kept their nose downs, kept on the game plan, and
