When would that have been and why? Wow? Interesting question, David,
I feel like I'm reliving my youngadult years. I grew up in the
sixties and seventies, a time whenAmerica was facing some of the same challenges

it's facing today. Political polarization,racial tensions, economic fluctuations, the relevance
of organized religion, moral and ethicaldesensitization. These are all products of human
beings disconnected from something greater than themselvesand from each other. For me,
that connection begins with then works thisway out into our relationship with each other.

Our challenge is that civilization and technologyadvances, but human nature remains the
