an act of faith. It's abelief that life as we know it is
not an act but part of adivine design. It is the belief that
there is meaning and purpose to life, and we play a role in that
meaning and purpose. Prayer is theelevating of the mind and heart towards God.
Prayer helps us to process our thoughtsand desires within a set of values

and beliefs that challenge those thoughts anddesires. So prayers not getting God to
do what we want. It's invitingGod into our thoughts and desire to make
sure these thoughts and desires are healthyand we'll bring out the best version of
ourselves. My own experience and prayeris yes, no, and maybe not
