I know you had a great relationshipwith former mayor Michael Bloomberg. How
did that come about? Well,Alex, having a large congregation draws people
who are running for political office.Our church is a large platform there reaches
many people, especially since we emphasizethe importance of being an educated voter and

from there of New York City.He came to address my congregation and that
event launched ustance who a great relationship, a great friendship, and a working
relationship to make the City of NewYork better place to live, work and
play. There were times we agreedon issue and sometimes we disagreed on issues,
but it was a great working relationshipfilled with mutual respect, admiration,
