in the Initials a champion or matchwhatever, I can't think of the word
for it. So she's playing init, and she hasn't played Initials in
almost two months. So I'm veryexcited, very proud of my girl,
and I'm hoping she gets that dubbecause emotional support. I am absolutely brought

her a coffee. Hope she's feelingright, So shout out, shout out,
Marnie. I have a black Vikingswilt shirt on today. I did
remember Purple Friday, but I don'tknow. I'm feeling a little insecure about
my Vikings wardrobe right now. Ihave no idea what I'm wearing on Sunday.
I like nothing that I own,and so it's gonna be a problem.

So I'm wearing black. I Well, so i ordered a new fangirl
T shirt and I'm very excited aboutit. It's very cute. It matches
the new Nikes that I bought.But the weather is just kind of up
in the air for Fort Sunday,isn't it, Like is it We're gonna
start so early that I'm like,well, I can't just wear a T
shirt at eight am. Now.It seems like it's gonna be kind of
cold because it's gonna be like inthe fifties in the morning, which I'm

cool with. I haven't checked,well, I haven't checked Sin salesterday.
I think the high is only likeseventy four, which I love, but
it is going to be cold inthe morning, especially because the sun is
behind the stadium in the morning.Yeah, and so what I had envisioned
for my outfit is, yeah,not gonna work. But I'm good with
that. I'd rather be these temperaturesthan ninety nine degrees. But yeah,

So I'm going to the store laterthis afternoon, so hopefully i'll find something,
even though that's a lot thing Iwant to be spending money on today.
But we're back we're back, andhonestly, we're kind of burying the
lead. The Lions beat the SuperBowl champs, last year's Super Bowl champs
last night. I know I wasgonna say, this is your mc DC

leader, Motor City, Dan Campbell, I mean leader, Seriously, this
is amazing. They shocked the world. I thought it couldn't get any more
amazing than when they beat the Packersfor Aaron Rodgers' final game as a Packer.
Yes, and then they beat KansasCity on the opening game of this

season. I mean it was justso beautiful. You know, Kansas City
was so cocky. Oh yeah.I loved watching Travis Kelsey have a meltdown
on the sideline because he wasn't playing, and you know, he's like,
oh, we would have won ifI had been playing, and was making
it about him. But well,Collinsworth was saying that over and over too,
like they kept bailing them out withthese excuses of Kelsey not playing,

and it's like, Okay, Iget it, he's a big part of
their offense, but there's more issuesgoing on here. Yeah, Like it's
not one person doesn't play and theentire team doesn't win. You don't win
a Super Bowl like that unless it'slike your quarterback that goes out. So
yeah, it was great and Ilove all the Detroit fans were there,
made that trip. I was sohappy for them, and the roar has

been restored. Yeah, I meanit's I wish. I hope they have
a parade today in Detroit on thestreets of Detroit. I hope they have
a parade because they deserve that.Like they should take every ounce of this

so focus. But we know DanCampbell, the King will make sure that
they are dialed and we'll have themready for their next game. I mean,

know people are big mad. Everytime I gave them a compliment on Twitter
last night, people like said somethingshitty like what do you care? Calm

No sixteen and eighteen, ye waylate. And look I'm happy for
and I hate the same old Lionslike narrative thing because you can say that
about the Vikings, same old Vikings. Oh yeah, we always shoot ourselves

if the Vikings get to play anextra week? Sometimes it's you know,

but anyway, Yeah, that wasa very exciting first game. Sometimes the
hype of the first game doesn't liveup to it, Like what was last
year? Was it the Eagles?And I don't remember. I just remember
the last year. The first gamewas so boring. Yeah, so I

watched most of the game at ata bar playing Bingo. Didn't win Bingo,

but the Detroit Lions won, Soreally I did win last night,
so I was happy about that.I was very very pleased about that.
Yes, okay, well, hopefullywe will have the same result against those
Super Bowl champions in just a fewweeks here, I know, just about
a month. Yeah, that's gonnacome up quickly. I feel like this

summer has absolutely flown by, andthe fact that it is already September eighth
has blown my mind. I feellike August it did, It did go
by fast, and as a wholeAugust kind of drug on a little bit,
and then now, how the heckis it already September eighth? Yeah,
that's I mean, being gone thelast two weeks of the month or

week and a half of the month, and then not coming home until I
didn't get home until September fourth,it was like, yeah, I feel
like I missed a month, eventhough I was only gone for twelve days.
Also, I thought this whole timefor the last six months, since
I booked my plane ticket that Iwas not coming home until Tuesday, September

fifth. No, I don't understandhow time works. I don't understand that
you gain eight hours when you comefrom Europe when you fly to Minnesota.
I thought we were getting off ofour boat on Monday morning, and I'm
like looking at my sister, I'mlike, Sanna, how do we not
get home until Tuesday day night?And she's like, what are you talking
about. I'm like, hey,we're it's eight am right now in Venice.

How are we not getting off orhow are we not getting home until
Tuesday night? And She's like,dummy, we get home tonight at six
pm Minneapolis. Time. Couldn't couldnot figure that out. It did not
make sense to me whatsoever. SoI had, luckily I had taken Tuesday
off so then I could get mylife together when I got home. But

I'm like, I'm thirty five yearsold. Don't understand how time works.
Honestly, I probably would do thesame thing that kind of stuff. I
just can't. I have to countit, like every time that I go
on a trip, Like even ifit's one hour or two hours, it's
like, what time zone am I? How am I? How have I
gotten this foreign life. I'm sodumb, like I don't know how time

works. I can't. This morning, before we started recording, we're like,
it's weird there, it's like Friday. I don't know if we've ever
recorded on a Friday. No,we haven't because initials. Yeah, and
so that's why. So my alarmgo off this morning speaking to people who
don't know how time works. Andthen I saw Tracy in the lobby and
I'm like, oh, hey,She's like, oh, I'm waiting for
Amelia for initials, and I'm like, fuck, of all the days of

me to be late, We're actuallyhere on a Friday. I'm late on
a Friday. So no, wehaven't ever been here on Friday. Yeah,
so it's very odd. It feelsweird. I don't Yeah, And
I tried to figure it out whenthe last time I worked a full week
was full week of work. Idon't think it's been since like the beginning

of May, just with like LaborDay and everything. So and not even
next week is a full week ofwork because I have Friday after because I'm
in a wedding. So yeah,I'm like, I don't even know.
I don't even know how to work. When I turned my computer on on
Wednesday, I was like, Ihope I remember how to type. I'm

were what you were doing. Iwent to Europe on a Mediterranean Baltic Sea
cruise with my family. I lefton Thursday, October twenty fourth, and

I had a October twenty four,August I'm done. I'm canceling myself.
Idiot, God, I shouldn't letyou keep going when you said you're coming
back. Came back in February.Yeah, I came back on Valentine's Day.

(09:37):
I was not from Valentine's Day toSaint Patrick's Day. God, DAR
say, how have I gotten thisfar in life? I mean some would
say I'm not very far. Butanyway, So I left August twenty fourth
and landed in Rome Friday afternoon,Rome time, and I didn't have time
to do my Vatican tour, whichI was very bummed about. But I

was able to see the Colosseum,the Forum, the Trevi Fountain. Eat
amazing food in Italy, and thetomatoes are better, better in Italy.
I did my own research and Ican confirm that my sources were correct.
The tomatoes are better in Italy.They taste different, not just they're better,
they taste they taste different. Theytaste different. Can you describe it?

What does the tomato taste like?It's more of an explosion in your
mouth than any tomato. So it'sjuicier, it's juicier, it's more ZESTI
yeah, okay. I Also here'swhat I also think it makes a difference
because the the buffalo mozzarella is alsobetter there. So when you're eating kapres,

it's everything's better. The basil's better, the balsamic vinegar is better.
I mean, everything is just better. In Italy. I ate so much
food, and the morning I wasgetting dressed, and I'm like, dummy,
You're in a wedding in a weekand all you did was eat and
drink your way through Europe for twoweeks. Like do you realize what you've

done? Like, I don't know. I gotta drop my dress off at
the dry cleaner today because it wasshipped to me. So it's kind of
a mess and it needs to bedry cleaned before the wedding, and I'm
like, I hope the son ofItch fits I have. Thank God it's
black, so yeah, good thingsshould change that color skin? Right is
there? Is it difficult to eatgluten free in Italy? So I actually

didn't eat gluten free in Italy reallyanywhere in Europe, and I had no
issues because they process don't I'm nota doctor, don't listen to make your
do your own research, but fromwhat I've seen, they process their flower
and stuff differently in Europe than wedo. They don't have like all the
terrible additives that are probably gonna killus all at some point. And so

I didn't eat gluten free. Onthe actual cruise ship that I was on,
I did eat gluten free, butwhen we were in Port, I
ate peta and Greece, I atepasta in Croatia in Italy and all issues,
I felt great the entire time.I'm not having normally because I have

Crown's disease and I also have psoriasis. If I eat gluten, my skin
breaks out really bad, like Iget a psoriasis flare. And I have
had no issues. A yeah,so I was able to eat everything.
Turns out I like wine from everycountry. I know everyone was really concerned.
I'm sitting down right. The wine'samazing. Croatia especially has incredible rose.

And you know I had said Iwanted to find a Greek boyfriend.
Yeah, that's out the door.No Greeks for me, No, no
Greeks for me. Croatian men arewhere it's at. Okay, So Baltic
men so like men from Montenegro,Serb, Croatia. I feel like I
need to pull up a map reallyquick. Give me a second. Okay,

I don't know where any of thesethings are. So they're all in
the Baltic they're Baltic countries. Whereis the Baltic Sea? I'm kidding,
Okay, I mean I do knowwhere that is. Kind of so the
men from those countries are like someof the tallest men in the world,
so stay less. They're all likevery strong, they're very masculine looking,

and they're amazing, like they're sohandsome. That makes sense because of so
many basketball players come from over thereexactly. So isn't that kind of crazy
that there's such a big height differencefrom Greece to Croatia. They're not that
far apart. That is very interesting. But so yeah, I loved Croatia.
I did not want to leave.That was we went to two places

in Croatia. We went to Zadarand Split and that was both those days
were everyone's favorite days that we werethere, and we rented boats. Both
of those days. We had peopletake us around to different swimming spots and
different little towns to have restaurants.I had some of the best meals I've

ever had. I ate fish inCroatia, excuse me, and I liked
it. Yeah, I can't rememberwhat it was called, but it was
fantastic. I would I don't knowif I would ever order it because we
still got a tomahawk steak and Iate most of it was like a family
style. So you just tried it. Well, I'm proud of you.
Yeah, so it was. Itwas really good. I had in Saracusa,

which is where one of the placesthey went in The White Lotus season
two. I had ravioli stuffed withricotta with a pistachio cream sauce. My
sister and I. It was likejaw dropping, how fantastic it was.
I had so much pizza, andhonestly, like the food in Rome or

(14:50):
in Italy is so cheap. Sennaand I my sister, She and I
just walked around Saracusa together and wentto a little market, and that reminds
me, have to give you yourpresent. We went to a little market
and walked around some churches and hadlunch. It was thirty seven euros for
like a huge pizza that played ofpasta and then a leader of wine.

(15:18):
Wow, thirty seven years. I'mlike, Sanna, we can't go to
all of Garden for that cheap.And hell, a million times better than
all of Garden. So it's justthe food was amazing. And I literally
cried when I was in Rome becauseI seeing the coliseum and the Trevi Fountain
and stuff like that. I've seenpictures of it, and I said to

my parents a million times, I'mlike, I never thought I would be
able to come to Europe. Inever thought I would be healthy enough to
be able to do that. Ispent so much of my twenties and early
thirties so sick that I never Imean, this is the longest I've been
away from home where I wasn't inthe hospital. Yeah, and so for

me to be able to do thatand then feel good, the entire trip
was just like it was the bestand I was. I was with Bridget
the other night and she was like, what, you know, what was
your highlight. I'm like, Idid something with every member of my family,
Like my mom and I went toPompeii. That was our first stop
was Naples. Loved Pompeii. Isaw the first pizza oven and Gud was

like, she goes to, uh, you know, we actually didn't have
tomatoes in Italy to the first tomatoeswere discovered in Mexico, So the best
tomatoes are probably in Mexico. Actuallyreally yes, And so she said the
first pizzas probably had fruit on them, and she goes, but it wasn't
pineapple. Let me make that veryclear. It was not pineapple. It

was probably figs, so I'd begood, right, And then they all
it was She said it was morelike focasha kind of not like a traditional
pizza. Yeah, it just itwas such an amazing trip. So like
my mom and I went to Pompeytogether. We walked around Greece and did
a tour of a fortress together.My sister and I went around Syracusta together.

My brother and I stayed out lateone night. We met some people
and stayed out late, and itwas just really fun. I had dinner
with just Alexa and my brother's girlfriendand I, my dad and I gambled
together. So yeah, So mydad's name is Gerald, and on the
boat everyone called him mister Gerald.So when we were at the casino,

they're like, oh, this ismister Gerald's daughters. So this was very
funny. So so you got likeindividual time with each person. Yeah,
that's great. It was. Itwas really amazing and I truly like a
trip of a lifetime and it wasso much fun. And I thought,
I'm like, this is a reallylong time to be away from home.

It flew by. I couldn't believethat I was already coming home, and
yeah, I'm just super grateful.I saw the most beautiful things. The
pictures don't do it justice. Andit was how many ports? Was it
seven? And the cruise was ninedays? Oh okay, so only like

one day at sea. There reallywasn't a day at sea. We were
in a newport every single day.So like on the day you get on
the on the ship doesn't really getoff, doesn't, right, So there
was one day we went to Ravenna, Italy and it was like a thirty
minute bus ride into town and we'relike, we don't there was nothing big

there that we needed to see,so we just stayed on the ship because
we had We were on a shipthat this was only their third voyage,
and it was We had incredible service. Shockingly, I made friends with all
the bartenders and servers and we madesome really nice friends on the boat too,
so that was fun. And thendo you have a cruise romance?

I think to keep in touch withI do not have a cruise romance.
Damn it, it's I know,I know, I'm really hoping. I
really thought you were going to getanother one. But everyone we met was
really nice couples. We met anamazing couple from Orange County. We met
a really wonderful couple who was originallyfrom Long Island and lives in Myrtle Beach
now, and then a couple thatlives in Florida. So yeah, they're

just everyone was really nice. Andhonestly, that trip, seeing these really
amazing couples together, it made methink, like, you know what,
this is what I want. Iwant to be able to like travel the
world with my person, for sure. And it was like, I was
very grateful to be on the tripwith my family, but I'm like,
I hope one day I get todo something really special like this with someone

that I really love and really caresabout me. You know what I mean?
Oh, for sure? So yeahit was. It was amazing and
I had the best time and Icannot wait to go back to Croatia.
All of us were like that,this is where we would go back.
Really awesome. I would definitely Iwould like to go back to Rome so
I can see the Vatican and maybespend like another day or two there,

But I wouldn't. There was reallylike no place other than Croatia that I'd
be like, I need to behere more than a couple of days.
Wow. Well I wouldn't have guessedthat. But that's that's good to know.
It's so beautiful. Yes, soif you can go to Croatia because
it's beautiful and the people are sokind there, the food's fantastic, the
wine is really good. Believe me, I did the research. So here's

something though that I'm thinking while you'resaying this. This always happens to me,
is when you go somewhere and youhave the best food and then you
never can stop thinking about specific fooditems for the rest of your life and
you can never have them again.Isn't that the worst? I still think
about the Philly cheese steak that wehad in Hermosa Beach like six years ago

exactly. Remember like a year later, Papa Jones came out with the Philly
Cheese stake pizza and we're like,wait, I have to get it.
And I have been chasing the highof that Philly cheese sake for exactly.
That's the one thing that sucks whenyou have just amazing food, as you
always think about it and nothing livesup to know what you you know,

you can never recreate it. No, And we went to when we were
in Croatia, when we went tosplit we, I had a truffle gnocchi
and it was gnocchi and truffle insane. I will think about that pasta on
my deathbed. I bet the trufflestaste better oh as well. And honestly,

everything tastes better when you are it'sbeautiful scenery and you're with people that
you love for sure. Yeah,so it was. It was incredible.
I my parents just they went soabove and beyond for us and it was
amazing. So I'm really really grateful. Last thing I'll ask about things you
were putting in your mouth. Isaw from your Instagram you were drinking a

lot of white wines and stuff.I was. I was drinking a lot
of rose. So my brother,My brother started the trend of drinking a
dry rose by the pool. Solike literally ever someone overheard Harry ordering a
dry rose and She's like, I'mgonna have a dry rose. And then
like literally we made off all thesefriends with people and everyone's like, I'm

gonna have a dry rose. Sothey yeah, so drinking a lot of
rose. And then because it wasso it was very hot out sure,
and I really liked the Pinot grigiosand stuff that we had. It was.
Yeah, I drank a lot ofwhite wine. I did usually with
dinner have my dad and I wouldhave red wine. But I tried to

save as many corks as I couldfrom like all of our dinners and stuff
like that. So I came homewith like probably fifteen corks from Do you
have an idea of what to dowith them. I just also, you
know, in my kitchen, likein the corner, I have a flower
vase and I always just put mycorks in there. I just put them
in there. So yeah, wellwe're glad to have you back. Your

outfits were very European, very veryresort ish. I love them. I
tried. Yeah, my one thing, how I know I would never last
in Europe. They do not wearath leisure like they and they wear linen,
and they looked so beautiful and puttogether, and I'm like, why
is no one wearing Lulu Lemon?Like where's your zip up? So I

in some some places I stood outlike or stuck out like a sore thumb
because I was very like Lulu Lemonheavy, because I'm like, if I'm
gonna be walking ten miles, Iwant to be comfortable. We did so
much walking, which was great,so I got some exercise that way.
But I did see speaking of Okay, so if anyone, I don't know

how familiar people are with this,but there's this Facebook group it's called are
We Dating the Same Guy? Andoriginally this group started out for a place
for girls to post maybe about aguy who's got some red flags might be
a dangerous situation, you know,on the dating apps, like hey,
look out for this guy, orsomeone might post that they went on a

date with somebody and they found outthat they weren't single and they're trying to
let other people know. It startedout very like got your back girl,
very like wholesome. Yeah, kindof we're looking out for each other,
and it's evolved into other things thatwe don't need to get into. But
it's it's very immature and kind ofpetty now, and it's like people just

exposing like people for no reason andasking for dating advice. So I saw
this girl who said that she's beendating a guy for a couple of months
and that she dresses very casual again, very ath leisure, and that's just
how she's always dressed. She's youknow, wanting to like elevate her style,

but she never really has. Andthe guy she's been dating is very
into fashion and like his not intofashion, like you know, he just
he likes to look put together whenhe goes out to dinner. He takes
pride in what he wears. Yeah, And he said something to her about
like, hey, you know,I wish that you would dress up a

little bit more something along those lines. It didn't set from the way she
described it, it didn't sound likehe was being rude. But again,
he's had studied abroad, he wentto Europe and stuff, and he was
saying, like, people, youknow, when we go out to a
nice center, I want to dressup. And all of the comments,
people were calling this guy a narcissist, saying he's controlling the first he's and

all of these things. And thenI saw a few people in the comments
saying, no, like in othercultures, even in other, you know,
places in America, people Minnesota isvery laid back, very casual and
how they dress. And then whenCOVID happened, everyone got more casual in
our country, and you know,I don't. But anyway, I thought

that was interesting, But I don'tknow how I would take it if a
guy said that to me. Well, so here's the thing. I've dated
guys that I wish they dressed better. Oh sure, And so it's like,
why is it okay for me tohave to tell a guy be like,
can you please wear about nun shirtand not wears flip flops like to
a dinner, Like we're going toa nice steakhouse, like no, I'm

sorry, you can't wear basketball shortsand a basket backwards hat. And yeah,
so I don't think. I don'tthink there's anything wrong with that.
Now, obviously, it's always inhow you deliver things. Yeah, I
don't always deliver things the best way. So I understand like maybe her his
delivery, her her feelings or somethinglike that. And it's also like the

intent behind it too, like ifhe's saying I want to take you out
to a nice dinner, like like, let's dress up, it'll be fun,
you know, and maybe something likethat, not being like, girl,
get it together, you need todress better. I agree, it's
all on the delivery. Yes,I just thought you brought up the casual
dress thing and it made me thinkof that because I couldn't believe that women

were just ripping this guy apart forthat seriously, and I think you know
that group. I think it doesdo some good things, like, but
it also like I don't like thatkind of stuff, like you're just some
of the stuff feels like it's postingand you're just caught like you're looking for

an issue. Yeah, and Ithink that's just the nature of the world
and the Internet today, unfortunately,is that people just want to tell you
you're wrong about stuff. But wecan get it a deep dive into that
group another time, but it isyikes. I want to get out of
it so bad, I know.But some of the tea I'm like,
yeah, oh, okay, forsome reasons, I get notifications for it

randomly, like every few days,and then I won't get anything at all,
and then I'll get a few ina day. And if the less
I think about it, the better. But if guys end up getting a
group like that about us, oh, that's the true That's the other hypocrisy
is that we're screen like not weas in you and I. But I
see women screenshotting, you know,guys dating profiles for every little thing and
posting it on there. If itwas reversed and men were doing that to

us and picking us apart in theoh, yeah, we'd be furious.
Yeah, and it would be sexistand misogynistic and everything else, which agreed,
Yeah it was anyway, it was. It started out as a good
thing, but it's it's went alittle off the rails. So yeah,
it's evolved into something other than that. Like, ma'am, why are you
looking for dating advice from strangers?Just don't you have some friends. I

have a real doozy that I'd loveto bring up, but we'll save that

and we're we're all toy departments today. We can't talk. I know we
have not been enough toy department yet. Well, the one bad thing about
the cruise is that I didn't haveI didn't have cell phone service when we
were not in port. So everytime like we would as soon as we

would leave, I didn't have cellphone service, and wife I was like
ten cents a minute. So mydad is like, do not turn your
WiFi. I was wondering if wifI was included on cruises. Now it's
