(00:00):
Hello, and welcome to Sports inthe City. I'm Haley and I'm Sally.
Good morning, Good morning. Wehappy first Purple Friday to those who
celebrate. Oh yeah, purple Friday. I know, in my defense,
I was wearing a purple I waswearing a Conquered the North T shirt this
morning for my walk and a Vikingszip up. But right now I'm wearing
(00:22):
a President of the Martie Gellner FanClub T shirt because today Martie is playing
in the Initials a champion or matchwhatever, I can't think of the word
for it. So she's playing init, and she hasn't played Initials in
almost two months. So I'm veryexcited, very proud of my girl,
and I'm hoping she gets that dubbecause emotional support. I am absolutely brought
(00:44):
her a coffee. Hope she's feelingright, So shout out, shout out,
Marnie. I have a black Vikingswilt shirt on today. I did
remember Purple Friday, but I don'tknow. I'm feeling a little insecure about
my Vikings wardrobe right now. Ihave no idea what I'm wearing on Sunday.
I like nothing that I own,and so it's gonna be a problem.
(01:06):
So I'm wearing black. I Well, so i ordered a new fangirl
T shirt and I'm very excited aboutit. It's very cute. It matches
the new Nikes that I bought. But the weather is just kind of up
in the air for Fort Sunday, isn't it, Like is it We're gonna
start so early that I'm like,well, I can't just wear a T
shirt at eight am. Now.It seems like it's gonna be kind of
cold because it's gonna be like inthe fifties in the morning, which I'm
(01:30):
cool with. I haven't checked,well, I haven't checked Sin salesterday.
I think the high is only likeseventy four, which I love, but
it is going to be cold inthe morning, especially because the sun is
behind the stadium in the morning.Yeah, and so what I had envisioned
for my outfit is, yeah, not gonna work. But I'm good with
that. I'd rather be these temperaturesthan ninety nine degrees. But yeah,
(01:53):
So I'm going to the store laterthis afternoon, so hopefully i'll find something,
even though that's a lot thing Iwant to be spending money on today.
But we're back we're back, andhonestly, we're kind of burying the
lead. The Lions beat the SuperBowl champs, last year's Super Bowl champs
last night. I know I wasgonna say, this is your mc DC
(02:15):
leader, Motor City, Dan Campbell, I mean leader, Seriously, this
is amazing. They shocked the world. I thought it couldn't get any more
amazing than when they beat the Packersfor Aaron Rodgers' final game as a Packer.
Yes, and then they beat KansasCity on the opening game of this
(02:36):
season. I mean it was justso beautiful. You know, Kansas City
was so cocky. Oh yeah.I loved watching Travis Kelsey have a meltdown
on the sideline because he wasn't playing, and you know, he's like,
oh, we would have won ifI had been playing, and was making
it about him. But well,Collinsworth was saying that over and over too,
like they kept bailing them out withthese excuses of Kelsey not playing,
(02:57):
and it's like, Okay, Iget it, he's a big part of
their offense, but there's more issuesgoing on here. Yeah, Like it's
not one person doesn't play and theentire team doesn't win. You don't win
a Super Bowl like that unless it'slike your quarterback that goes out. So
yeah, it was great and Ilove all the Detroit fans were there,
made that trip. I was sohappy for them, and the roar has
(03:21):
been restored. Yeah, I meanit's I wish. I hope they have
a parade today in Detroit on thestreets of Detroit. I hope they have
a parade because they deserve that.Like they should take every ounce of this
victory. Now, Okay, soyou're one and ozho in the Kansas City
Chief week. Now you gotta takeyour mini bye week and then ye,
(03:44):
so focus. But we know DanCampbell, the King will make sure that
they are dialed and we'll have themready for their next game. I mean,
how about Dan Campbell. You thinkthat they're gonna go three and out?
The lines are gonna go three andout. And I'm like, you
know, I was being dramatic saying, oh, the season's over because there's
a lot of haters out there againstDetroit Lions, a lot of haters.
(04:06):
And then he goes and does afake punt only five minutes into the game
on his own seventeen yard line andDan Campbell is shooting from the hip.
This is why we love Dan Campbell. He just lays it all out there
and it paid off. I loveto see it. Yeah, to see
it. It was I loved ittoo. I think we're gonna have We're
(04:27):
gonna have some issues going forward thisseason with our Detroit Lions fandom. I
know people are big mad. Everytime I gave them a compliment on Twitter
last night, people like said somethingshitty like what do you care? Calm
down, Like, we don't evenplay them until what like the end of
December, right, I think ifwe play them like week fifteen, No,
(04:51):
No sixteen and eighteen, ye waylate. And look I'm happy for
and I hate the same old Lionslike narrative thing because you can say that
about the Vikings, same old Vikings. Oh yeah, we always shoot ourselves
in the foot. Yeah you cansay the same thing, like who cares
if the Vikings get to play anextra week? Sometimes it's you know,
(05:14):
but anyway, Yeah, that wasa very exciting first game. Sometimes the
hype of the first game doesn't liveup to it, Like what was last
year? Was it the Eagles? And I don't remember. I just remember
the last year. The first gamewas so boring. Yeah, so I
was. I was very here forlast night. It was awesome. I
watched most of the game at ata bar playing Bingo. Didn't win Bingo,
(05:36):
but the Detroit Lions won, Soreally I did win last night,
so I was happy about that.I was very very pleased about that.
Yes, okay, well, hopefullywe will have the same result against those
Super Bowl champions in just a fewweeks here, I know, just about
a month. Yeah, that's gonnacome up quickly. I feel like this
(05:57):
summer has absolutely flown by, andthe fact that it is already September eighth
has blown my mind. I feellike August it did, It did go
by fast, and as a wholeAugust kind of drug on a little bit,
and then now, how the heckis it already September eighth? Yeah,
that's I mean, being gone thelast two weeks of the month or
(06:20):
week and a half of the month, and then not coming home until I
didn't get home until September fourth,it was like, yeah, I feel
like I missed a month, eventhough I was only gone for twelve days.
Also, I thought this whole timefor the last six months, since
I booked my plane ticket that Iwas not coming home until Tuesday, September
(06:42):
fifth. No, I don't understandhow time works. I don't understand that
you gain eight hours when you comefrom Europe when you fly to Minnesota.
I thought we were getting off ofour boat on Monday morning, and I'm
like looking at my sister, I'mlike, Sanna, how do we not
get home until Tuesday day night? And she's like, what are you talking
about. I'm like, hey,we're it's eight am right now in Venice.
(07:05):
How are we not getting off orhow are we not getting home until
Tuesday night? And She's like, dummy, we get home tonight at six
pm Minneapolis. Time. Couldn't couldnot figure that out. It did not
make sense to me whatsoever. SoI had, luckily I had taken Tuesday
off so then I could get mylife together when I got home. But
(07:26):
I'm like, I'm thirty five yearsold. Don't understand how time works.
Honestly, I probably would do thesame thing that kind of stuff. I
just can't. I have to countit, like every time that I go
on a trip, Like even ifit's one hour or two hours, it's
like, what time zone am I? How am I? How have I
gotten this foreign life. I'm sodumb, like I don't know how time
(07:47):
works. I can't. This morning, before we started recording, we're like,
it's weird there, it's like Friday. I don't know if we've ever
recorded on a Friday. No,we haven't because initials. Yeah, and
so that's why. So my alarmgo off this morning speaking to people who
don't know how time works. Andthen I saw Tracy in the lobby and
I'm like, oh, hey,She's like, oh, I'm waiting for
Amelia for initials, and I'm like, fuck, of all the days of
(08:11):
me to be late, We're actuallyhere on a Friday. I'm late on
a Friday. So no, wehaven't ever been here on Friday. Yeah,
so it's very odd. It feelsweird. I don't Yeah, And
I tried to figure it out whenthe last time I worked a full week
was full week of work. Idon't think it's been since like the beginning
(08:31):
of May, just with like LaborDay and everything. So and not even
next week is a full week ofwork because I have Friday after because I'm
in a wedding. So yeah,I'm like, I don't even know.
I don't even know how to work. When I turned my computer on on
Wednesday, I was like, Ihope I remember how to type. I'm
lucky I remember in my password. So yeah, well so we so should
(08:54):
we recap the trip? Should weget through some highlights since we're already on
it? Refresh? Everyone who madenot remember or know what well are you
were what you were doing. Iwent to Europe on a Mediterranean Baltic Sea
cruise with my family. I lefton Thursday, October twenty fourth, and
(09:16):
I had a October twenty four,August I'm done. I'm canceling myself.
Idiot, God, I shouldn't letyou keep going when you said you're coming
back. Came back in February.Yeah, I came back on Valentine's Day.
(09:37):
I was not from Valentine's Day toSaint Patrick's Day. God, DAR
say, how have I gotten thisfar in life? I mean some would
say I'm not very far. Butanyway, So I left August twenty fourth
and landed in Rome Friday afternoon,Rome time, and I didn't have time
to do my Vatican tour, whichI was very bummed about. But I
(10:00):
was able to see the Colosseum, the Forum, the Trevi Fountain. Eat
amazing food in Italy, and thetomatoes are better, better in Italy.
I did my own research and Ican confirm that my sources were correct.
The tomatoes are better in Italy. They taste different, not just they're better,
they taste they taste different. Theytaste different. Can you describe it?
(10:24):
What does the tomato taste like? It's more of an explosion in your
mouth than any tomato. So it'sjuicier, it's juicier, it's more ZESTI
yeah, okay. I Also here'swhat I also think it makes a difference
because the the buffalo mozzarella is alsobetter there. So when you're eating kapres,
(10:48):
it's everything's better. The basil's better, the balsamic vinegar is better.
I mean, everything is just better. In Italy. I ate so much
food, and the morning I wasgetting dressed, and I'm like, dummy,
You're in a wedding in a weekand all you did was eat and
drink your way through Europe for twoweeks. Like do you realize what you've
(11:09):
done? Like, I don't know. I gotta drop my dress off at
the dry cleaner today because it wasshipped to me. So it's kind of
a mess and it needs to bedry cleaned before the wedding, and I'm
like, I hope the son ofItch fits I have. Thank God it's
black, so yeah, good thingsshould change that color skin? Right is
there? Is it difficult to eatgluten free in Italy? So I actually
(11:31):
didn't eat gluten free in Italy reallyanywhere in Europe, and I had no
issues because they process don't I'm nota doctor, don't listen to make your
do your own research, but fromwhat I've seen, they process their flower
and stuff differently in Europe than wedo. They don't have like all the
terrible additives that are probably gonna killus all at some point. And so
(11:54):
I didn't eat gluten free. Onthe actual cruise ship that I was on,
I did eat gluten free, butwhen we were in Port, I
ate peta and Greece, I atepasta in Croatia in Italy and all issues,
I felt great the entire time.I'm not having normally because I have
(12:16):
Crown's disease and I also have psoriasis. If I eat gluten, my skin
breaks out really bad, like Iget a psoriasis flare. And I have
had no issues. A yeah,so I was able to eat everything.
Turns out I like wine from everycountry. I know everyone was really concerned.
I'm sitting down right. The wine'samazing. Croatia especially has incredible rose.
(12:43):
And you know I had said Iwanted to find a Greek boyfriend.
Yeah, that's out the door.No Greeks for me, No, no
Greeks for me. Croatian men arewhere it's at. Okay, So Baltic
men so like men from Montenegro,Serb, Croatia. I feel like I
need to pull up a map reallyquick. Give me a second. Okay,
(13:03):
I don't know where any of thesethings are. So they're all in
the Baltic they're Baltic countries. Whereis the Baltic Sea? I'm kidding,
Okay, I mean I do knowwhere that is. Kind of so the
men from those countries are like someof the tallest men in the world,
so stay less. They're all likevery strong, they're very masculine looking,
(13:26):
and they're amazing, like they're sohandsome. That makes sense because of so
many basketball players come from over thereexactly. So isn't that kind of crazy
that there's such a big height differencefrom Greece to Croatia. They're not that
far apart. That is very interesting. But so yeah, I loved Croatia.
I did not want to leave. That was we went to two places
(13:48):
in Croatia. We went to Zadarand Split and that was both those days
were everyone's favorite days that we werethere, and we rented boats. Both
of those days. We had peopletake us around to different swimming spots and
different little towns to have restaurants.I had some of the best meals I've
(14:09):
ever had. I ate fish inCroatia, excuse me, and I liked
it. Yeah, I can't rememberwhat it was called, but it was
fantastic. I would I don't knowif I would ever order it because we
still got a tomahawk steak and Iate most of it was like a family
style. So you just tried it. Well, I'm proud of you.
Yeah, so it was. Itwas really good. I had in Saracusa,
(14:30):
which is where one of the placesthey went in The White Lotus season
two. I had ravioli stuffed withricotta with a pistachio cream sauce. My
sister and I. It was likejaw dropping, how fantastic it was.
I had so much pizza, andhonestly, like the food in Rome or
(14:50):
in Italy is so cheap. Sennaand I my sister, She and I
just walked around Saracusa together and wentto a little market, and that reminds
me, have to give you yourpresent. We went to a little market
and walked around some churches and hadlunch. It was thirty seven euros for
like a huge pizza that played ofpasta and then a leader of wine.
(15:18):
Wow, thirty seven years. I'mlike, Sanna, we can't go to
all of Garden for that cheap. And hell, a million times better than
all of Garden. So it's justthe food was amazing. And I literally
cried when I was in Rome becauseI seeing the coliseum and the Trevi Fountain
and stuff like that. I've seenpictures of it, and I said to
(15:41):
my parents a million times, I'mlike, I never thought I would be
able to come to Europe. Inever thought I would be healthy enough to
be able to do that. Ispent so much of my twenties and early
thirties so sick that I never Imean, this is the longest I've been
away from home where I wasn't inthe hospital. Yeah, and so for
(16:02):
me to be able to do thatand then feel good, the entire trip
was just like it was the bestand I was. I was with Bridget
the other night and she was like, what, you know, what was
your highlight. I'm like, Idid something with every member of my family,
Like my mom and I went toPompeii. That was our first stop
was Naples. Loved Pompeii. Isaw the first pizza oven and Gud was
(16:26):
like, she goes to, uh, you know, we actually didn't have
tomatoes in Italy to the first tomatoeswere discovered in Mexico, So the best
tomatoes are probably in Mexico. Actuallyreally yes, And so she said the
first pizzas probably had fruit on them, and she goes, but it wasn't
pineapple. Let me make that veryclear. It was not pineapple. It
(16:47):
was probably figs, so I'd begood, right, And then they all
it was She said it was morelike focasha kind of not like a traditional
pizza. Yeah, it just itwas such an amazing trip. So like
my mom and I went to Pompeytogether. We walked around Greece and did
a tour of a fortress together. My sister and I went around Syracusta together.
(17:08):
My brother and I stayed out lateone night. We met some people
and stayed out late, and itwas just really fun. I had dinner
with just Alexa and my brother's girlfriendand I, my dad and I gambled
together. So yeah, So mydad's name is Gerald, and on the
boat everyone called him mister Gerald. So when we were at the casino,
(17:30):
they're like, oh, this ismister Gerald's daughters. So this was very
funny. So so you got likeindividual time with each person. Yeah,
that's great. It was. Itwas really amazing and I truly like a
trip of a lifetime and it wasso much fun. And I thought,
I'm like, this is a reallylong time to be away from home.
(17:51):
It flew by. I couldn't believethat I was already coming home, and
yeah, I'm just super grateful.I saw the most beautiful things. The
pictures don't do it justice. Andit was how many ports? Was it
seven? And the cruise was ninedays? Oh okay, so only like
(18:12):
one day at sea. There reallywasn't a day at sea. We were
in a newport every single day.So like on the day you get on
the on the ship doesn't really getoff, doesn't, right, So there
was one day we went to Ravenna, Italy and it was like a thirty
minute bus ride into town and we'relike, we don't there was nothing big
(18:34):
there that we needed to see,so we just stayed on the ship because
we had We were on a shipthat this was only their third voyage,
and it was We had incredible service. Shockingly, I made friends with all
the bartenders and servers and we madesome really nice friends on the boat too,
so that was fun. And thendo you have a cruise romance?
(18:59):
I think to keep in touch withI do not have a cruise romance.
Damn it, it's I know,I know, I'm really hoping. I
really thought you were going to getanother one. But everyone we met was
really nice couples. We met anamazing couple from Orange County. We met
a really wonderful couple who was originallyfrom Long Island and lives in Myrtle Beach
now, and then a couple thatlives in Florida. So yeah, they're
(19:22):
just everyone was really nice. Andhonestly, that trip, seeing these really
amazing couples together, it made methink, like, you know what,
this is what I want. Iwant to be able to like travel the
world with my person, for sure. And it was like, I was
very grateful to be on the tripwith my family, but I'm like,
I hope one day I get todo something really special like this with someone
(19:45):
that I really love and really caresabout me. You know what I mean?
Oh, for sure? So yeahit was. It was amazing and
I had the best time and Icannot wait to go back to Croatia.
All of us were like that, this is where we would go back.
Really awesome. I would definitely Iwould like to go back to Rome so
I can see the Vatican and maybespend like another day or two there,
(20:07):
But I wouldn't. There was reallylike no place other than Croatia that I'd
be like, I need to behere more than a couple of days.
Wow. Well I wouldn't have guessedthat. But that's that's good to know.
It's so beautiful. Yes, soif you can go to Croatia because
it's beautiful and the people are sokind there, the food's fantastic, the
wine is really good. Believe me, I did the research. So here's
(20:32):
something though that I'm thinking while you'resaying this. This always happens to me,
is when you go somewhere and youhave the best food and then you
never can stop thinking about specific fooditems for the rest of your life and
you can never have them again.Isn't that the worst? I still think
about the Philly cheese steak that wehad in Hermosa Beach like six years ago
(20:53):
exactly. Remember like a year later, Papa Jones came out with the Philly
Cheese stake pizza and we're like, wait, I have to get it.
And I have been chasing the highof that Philly cheese sake for exactly.
That's the one thing that sucks whenyou have just amazing food, as you
always think about it and nothing livesup to know what you you know,
(21:14):
you can never recreate it. No, And we went to when we were
in Croatia, when we went tosplit we, I had a truffle gnocchi
and it was gnocchi and truffle insane. I will think about that pasta on
my deathbed. I bet the trufflestaste better oh as well. And honestly,
(21:36):
everything tastes better when you are it'sbeautiful scenery and you're with people that
you love for sure. Yeah,so it was. It was incredible.
I my parents just they went soabove and beyond for us and it was
amazing. So I'm really really grateful. Last thing I'll ask about things you
were putting in your mouth. Isaw from your Instagram you were drinking a
(21:57):
lot of white wines and stuff.I was. I was drinking a lot
of rose. So my brother,My brother started the trend of drinking a
dry rose by the pool. Solike literally ever someone overheard Harry ordering a
dry rose and She's like, I'mgonna have a dry rose. And then
like literally we made off all thesefriends with people and everyone's like, I'm
(22:18):
gonna have a dry rose. Sothey yeah, so drinking a lot of
rose. And then because it wasso it was very hot out sure,
and I really liked the Pinot grigiosand stuff that we had. It was.
Yeah, I drank a lot ofwhite wine. I did usually with
dinner have my dad and I wouldhave red wine. But I tried to
(22:41):
save as many corks as I couldfrom like all of our dinners and stuff
like that. So I came homewith like probably fifteen corks from Do you
have an idea of what to dowith them. I just also, you
know, in my kitchen, likein the corner, I have a flower
vase and I always just put mycorks in there. I just put them
in there. So yeah, wellwe're glad to have you back. Your
(23:04):
outfits were very European, very veryresort ish. I love them. I
tried. Yeah, my one thing, how I know I would never last
in Europe. They do not wearath leisure like they and they wear linen,
and they looked so beautiful and puttogether, and I'm like, why
is no one wearing Lulu Lemon?Like where's your zip up? So I
(23:27):
in some some places I stood outlike or stuck out like a sore thumb
because I was very like Lulu Lemonheavy, because I'm like, if I'm
gonna be walking ten miles, Iwant to be comfortable. We did so
much walking, which was great,so I got some exercise that way.
But I did see speaking of Okay, so if anyone, I don't know
(23:49):
how familiar people are with this, but there's this Facebook group it's called are
We Dating the Same Guy? Andoriginally this group started out for a place
for girls to post maybe about aguy who's got some red flags might be
a dangerous situation, you know,on the dating apps, like hey,
look out for this guy, orsomeone might post that they went on a
(24:12):
date with somebody and they found outthat they weren't single and they're trying to
let other people know. It startedout very like got your back girl,
very like wholesome. Yeah, kindof we're looking out for each other,
and it's evolved into other things thatwe don't need to get into. But
it's it's very immature and kind ofpetty now, and it's like people just
(24:37):
exposing like people for no reason andasking for dating advice. So I saw
this girl who said that she's beendating a guy for a couple of months
and that she dresses very casual again, very ath leisure, and that's just
how she's always dressed. She's youknow, wanting to like elevate her style,
(24:57):
but she never really has. Andthe guy she's been dating is very
into fashion and like his not intofashion, like you know, he just
he likes to look put together whenhe goes out to dinner. He takes
pride in what he wears. Yeah, And he said something to her about
like, hey, you know,I wish that you would dress up a
(25:18):
little bit more something along those lines. It didn't set from the way she
described it, it didn't sound likehe was being rude. But again,
he's had studied abroad, he wentto Europe and stuff, and he was
saying, like, people, youknow, when we go out to a
nice center, I want to dressup. And all of the comments,
people were calling this guy a narcissist, saying he's controlling the first he's and
(25:41):
all of these things. And thenI saw a few people in the comments
saying, no, like in othercultures, even in other, you know,
places in America, people Minnesota isvery laid back, very casual and
how they dress. And then whenCOVID happened, everyone got more casual in
our country, and you know,I don't. But anyway, I thought
(26:02):
that was interesting, But I don'tknow how I would take it if a
guy said that to me. Well, so here's the thing. I've dated
guys that I wish they dressed better. Oh sure, And so it's like,
why is it okay for me tohave to tell a guy be like,
can you please wear about nun shirtand not wears flip flops like to
a dinner, Like we're going toa nice steakhouse, like no, I'm
(26:26):
sorry, you can't wear basketball shortsand a basket backwards hat. And yeah,
so I don't think. I don'tthink there's anything wrong with that.
Now, obviously, it's always inhow you deliver things. Yeah, I
don't always deliver things the best way. So I understand like maybe her his
delivery, her her feelings or somethinglike that. And it's also like the
(26:48):
intent behind it too, like ifhe's saying I want to take you out
to a nice dinner, like like, let's dress up, it'll be fun,
you know, and maybe something likethat, not being like, girl,
get it together, you need todress better. I agree, it's
all on the delivery. Yes,I just thought you brought up the casual
dress thing and it made me thinkof that because I couldn't believe that women
(27:11):
were just ripping this guy apart forthat seriously, and I think you know
that group. I think it doesdo some good things, like, but
it also like I don't like thatkind of stuff, like you're just some
of the stuff feels like it's postingand you're just caught like you're looking for
(27:32):
an issue. Yeah, and Ithink that's just the nature of the world
and the Internet today, unfortunately,is that people just want to tell you
you're wrong about stuff. But wecan get it a deep dive into that
group another time, but it isyikes. I want to get out of
it so bad, I know. But some of the tea I'm like,
yeah, oh, okay, forsome reasons, I get notifications for it
(27:55):
randomly, like every few days, and then I won't get anything at all,
and then I'll get a few ina day. And if the less
I think about it, the better. But if guys end up getting a
group like that about us, oh, that's the true That's the other hypocrisy
is that we're screen like not weas in you and I. But I
see women screenshotting, you know, guys dating profiles for every little thing and
posting it on there. If itwas reversed and men were doing that to
(28:19):
us and picking us apart in theoh, yeah, we'd be furious.
Yeah, and it would be sexistand misogynistic and everything else, which agreed,
Yeah it was anyway, it was. It started out as a good
thing, but it's it's went alittle off the rails. So yeah,
it's evolved into something other than that. Like, ma'am, why are you
looking for dating advice from strangers?Just don't you have some friends. I
(28:45):
have a real doozy that I'd loveto bring up, but we'll save that
for another day because it will getus all off the rails. Yeah,
and we're we're all toy departments today. We can't talk. I know we
have not been enough toy department yet. Well, the one bad thing about
the cruise is that I didn't haveI didn't have cell phone service when we
were not in port. So everytime like we would as soon as we
(29:07):
would leave, I didn't have cellphone service, and wife I was like
ten cents a minute. So mydad is like, do not turn your
WiFi. I was wondering if wifI was included on cruises. Now it's
not. It's not. So that'show they get you. And so you
can't like make a call or anything. It's like it always has been.
Yeah, so I haven't went oncis I was sixteen, so so we
(29:30):
threw our cell phone provider. Itwas like ten dollars a day for every
country that you went in. Andit was so because my we're like we
have to be able to communicate incase we all do something different, like
whatever. So we had cell phoneservice when we were in port, and
then while we're sitting on the boatin port, but as soon as we
pulled away it would not work.So and being at some point we were
(29:55):
six hours ahead, some points wewere seven hours ahead, so my days
were obviously super weird. So I'dwake up and it would be seven o'clock
in the morning for me, butit would really be one in the morning
for you guys at home. Sofor the I missed the golfer game,
and the crews only had one barthat really showed sports, and they showed
(30:18):
mostly like European football and stuff likethat, more international stuff. They didn't,
unfortunately care about Big ten football, which was very brutal. That was
my only complaint, I know. And so I went to bed. It
was like, must have been midnightmy time, so it was around six
(30:38):
o'clock, so the golfer game wasabout to kick off in an hour.
So I went to bed and I'mlike prayers up for my golden golfers because
I hope they beat Nebraska. Andthen I wake up from a couple of
text messages the next morning finding outthat they won and it was, of
course in dramatic fashion, so thatthat was my only complaint is that I
(31:00):
missed my favorite football game in theseason. But thank god they pulled it
out. Did you go to thegame? No, I just went to
Nadine's tailgate to support for LS andSeventh Avenue pizza and Uda pills, So
I did not end up going tothe game. It was beautiful though.
It would have been a great gameto go too, but I just have
been swamped with school college algebra takingover my life series three to four days
(31:25):
a week at this point, Sono, I did not end up going.
But obviously I know how it wentdown. And are you going on
Saturday? They have a Saturday nightgame? I am, you are going
on Saturday? So who do theyplay Saturday? Eastern Michigan University the Eagles,
and they Eastern Michigan beat Howard Universitylast week thirty three to twenty three
(31:51):
Howard Universe. Howard, I knowhistorically Black College. I thought, so,
Yeah, I was wondering if itwas the same college. I think
it's I think it's on the EastCoast. I'm not sure where it is,
but yeah, so Golphers defensive quarteror coordinator Joe Rossi said that Eastern
Michigan's quarterback Austin Smith is mobile anddoes a good job running, so hopefully
(32:15):
our defense can contain that. Hewas nineteen of twenty eight with one hundred
and seventy five yards, one touchdownand one interception against Howard, and yeah,
we'll just we'll see. I mean, I think we're favored by like
twenty points, so that's but howdoes that always go for the Golphers will
win by six hopefully so. Butwe did beat Nebraska last week thirteen to
(32:39):
ten. Tyler Newman had two interceptions, he was the Big Ten Defensive Player
of the week, and they wonon that field goal as time expired.
So I saw the finish. Itwas very exciting. I'm I think I
probably would have had a heart attackthere because we just all know how Kisco
for Minnesota, especially in that whichit was in the not the Blair Walsh
(33:04):
one. Okay, okay, sobut still so I'm very excited for Saturday.
I hope it doesn't rain, andso it's a six thirty on Saturday
night. It's just gosh, youknow, why can they give us a
Saturday night game? On the Vikingsaway game week right, and also so
Old Dominion is here on Saturday aswell, and I wanted to go see
(33:28):
them. And my plan was,you know, in my perfect world,
the Gophers would have had in eleveno'clock game, right, especially because they're
playing a MAC team like right, come on, right, and they would
have had an eleven o'clock game.I would have been able to go home,
rest for a little bit, goto Old Dominion, go to the
(33:49):
go to the Vikings game on Sunday. Yeah. Well, of course,
for some reason, the scheduling godsgave me a six thirty pm kickoff,
and god knows, college football gamestake four hours, which yeah, it's
probably not going to end until almostten, yeah so or probably yeah ten.
So thank god I live closed too, straight to bed, straight to
(34:10):
bed early, early to rise. One stat that I did see regarding the
Gophers is that the Gophers are eighteenand one against non conference opponents, including
bowl games, in seven seasons underPJ. Flack. And it's crazy to
me that he's been here that long. I know, it feels like I
literally remember the press conference where hewas announced. Yeah, and so their
(34:35):
record being eighteen and one that's thethird best record in FBS, behind Alabama
and Georgia. So we're in goodcompany, you know, And I would
like to make that nineteen and onethis weekend. So let's go, Gopherst.
I'm really excited to be back attruly my favorite place on the planet.
So well, I'm sure they missedyou last week. Everyone was asking
where you were, and then somany people I don't know. Obviously a
(34:59):
lot people aren't listening intently to Sportsin the City podcasts or so many people
ask me if you were with aman. So many people asked me what
you were doing there in Europe.Yes, it was so weird. How
many people that I saw, we'reasking me crazy questions about you. Boy.
Yeah, okay, First of all, I am a chronic overcharer online.
(35:23):
I know that's what I'm like.People must just they don't. The
only man in my life that paysfor things that I go on trips with
is my dad. Like I'm notout here. No, yeah, I
know, I was with my family, and obviously, like I posted a
lot of selfies because you know what, I felt very good like. I
(35:43):
actually didn't think you posted that manyselfies. Oh, I expected much more
from you. Honestly, you posteda lot of scenery picks, a lot
of food picks. Some of thehaters were kind of they were they were
sick, but over your selfies arejust in general over my selfies. But
literally, as I was sitting onthe plane to leave uh to go to
(36:04):
Rome, I saw a tweet thatwas like, stop over posting on vacation,
like and actually enjoy it and something, and a response was I'm not
going to I'm not sipping drinks onan island and not letting the haters know.
And I'm like that's exactly how itis, Like, yeah, no,
I got you. Yeah, yeah, So I'm like whatever, And
I felt like I felt great whileI was there. I'm enjoying it.
(36:27):
I'm I didn't think you were onyour phone much at all, so well
think anyway. But yeah, soa lot of a lot of people were
curious about about your life, andI should have just said to them,
listen to sports in the city, right, and if you want to know,
listen to sports in the city.Yeah. I you know, when
I ended up going to Europe withthe guy who asked me for drugs,
like I my my, my mindchanged that quickly because he offered me a
(36:53):
trip to Europe, Like, come, God, no, they're there's no
man I'm in Europe with I didnot have a cruise romance. God,
I really believe in you with thecruise romance. Just because I want to
make jokes about where he's from tillthe end of time. Well, no,
I mean, I just I willthink fondly of a very hot Croatian
(37:15):
waiter who I watch debone of Fish. Okay, but no, I I
the phone's dry right now. Timesare tough, but I'm living my life
and I'm having a great time doingit. So okay, Well, next
(37:37):
toy department. Yeah, are werunning out of time or no? We're
good? Oh? For some reason, I feel like anyway, go ahead.
Well, I mean, I mean, the thing that brought us together
most is Vikings football. It's true, it's and it's back and it is
I mean, this is peak lifefor us right now. We're gonna be
(38:00):
tailgating. We're going to Vikings game. Yes, I'm so ready. I
am picking up Degenerate at three pmthis afternoon. What are you guys doing
tonight? We're gonna go to dinnertonight. Kim graciously invited us to go
out to dinner store. We're goingto the new Butcher and the Boar again.
I'm not calling you a newber.Oh my god, do we have
(38:22):
time for that story? Really quick? I never told it so going to
Butcher in the Bar probably a monthor so ago now, and we all
know this. I never update myphone, okay, never, never update
my apps, never update my phone. I certainly would never choose to update
my phone on a Friday afternoon. As I'm getting ready to leave the house,
(38:43):
so I go to grab my phoneoff the charger, you know,
take some mere selfies of my outfit, and it's off and I go to
try to turn it on and it'sdoing the thing with Apple on it where
it's updating, and I'm like, what the fuck? Like I needed to
leave like five minutes before this, and I'm like, I don't know what
to do because I also can't contactmy Godfathers's not like he's on social media
(39:04):
and I can shoot him a messageand anyway, so I didn't want to
do so I DM Haley and I'mlike, hey, can you please give
me a favor? Can you orderme an uber? And tell her the
situation. Well, to anyone whodoesn't know. Butcher and the Boar moved
locations. They were gone for acouple of years. They moved locations.
Whoever opened up a spot in theold place named it Butcher's Tail. So
(39:27):
it creates a lot of confusion. But even when you use a ride share
app and you type in Butcher andthe Boar, it auto corrects you to
Butcher's Tail. So that's what happenedto Haley. It was not your fault.
That's how it happens. So aguy comes to pick me up,
my phone is still not on,and he's like, says, oh,
Butcher's Tail, and I was like, no, it's actually Butcher in the
(39:49):
Boar. This dude freaks out onme, freaks out, and I'm like,
look like, I'm sorry, youcan just cancel the ride. I
ordered this through my friend. Youknow, I shouldn't have done that.
This was situation. And he's like, she has to change the destination.
I'm like, okay, you know, and of course I should have just
been patient because then my phone's on. But you know, when you up
(40:10):
take your phone, it's hours,So that's what I thought it was gonna
be right, And I'm like okay, so I call you and yeah,
I tell I don't even remember howall that went. But then anyway,
he demands to talk to Haley. He starts calling Haley on his phone NonStop,
back to back to back to backto back, and it's ringing like
(40:32):
one time because I was at Mancenisand you don't get great cell phone service
at Mancenis. So I'll I'm like, I'm not getting any of these calls.
And it was evident you weren't gettingthe calls because it was ringing once
and then it was done right,And so you can tell when someone's phone
is not on. And he thinksthat you're ignoring the calls, and he's
(40:53):
like hitting the touchscreen display. Idon't you can hear his hands like he's
punching it. And he's like, she ignored me again. She ignored me
again, she ignored me again. This dude is like fuming, like you
can see the steam coming out ofhis ears, and I'm like, okay,
I said, she's not ignoring. He said, she answered for you,
(41:13):
She's gonna answer the phone for me, And he just keeps calling and
calling and calling it. I'm like, oh my god, so you finally
answer the phone and you have noidea that he's been calling you, and
he's yelling at you. I don'tremember exactly what he was saying, but
he was arguing with you about notanswering his calls. He's like, I've
called you twelve times, and I'mlike, this is the first call that
(41:34):
i've gotten from you, Like Iwas not ignoring your calls, and I
don't, like, I'll be calm, but if someone comes at me,
guns blazing, I'm gonna and I'mgoing to yell back. And then he
kept on though you were very politeat first, and he just he wasn't
concerned with the matter at hand.He just wanted to scold you for not
answering his phone, right, Andit was so uncomfortable. So then I
(42:00):
guess did you end up changing it? Yeah? Okay, so then you
ended up changing it. And Ikept saying to him, can I I
said, I just think that it'sdis best if we just cancel the ride.
I'm happy to just give you cash. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
He's like, I don't work forfree. You were going and he locks
the doors, and I'm like,oh my god. So the whole time.
(42:21):
It's so uncomfortable, and he justkeeps bringing it up, keeps bringing
it up, and I'm like,look, I'm sorry, it's a miscommunication.
Anyway, long he just kept onand kept on and We're on Hiawatha
and I'm like, sir, Ireally just want you to let me out,
like this is extremely uncomfortable. He'sdriving like a maniac. He just
keeps bringing it up again about howI don't have respect for him and his
(42:44):
time and he doesn't do this forfree, and I'm just it was a
mistake, Like, oh my god, calm like, calm down. He
was so aggressive. By the timeI got to the restaurant, I was
literally like crying. I had liketears in my eyes. It was terrify
anyway, So we're going to Butcherin the Boar tonight. If you're around,
(43:05):
you should join us. I'm goingto the Twins game for a Bridget's
Sisters joint bachelor bachelorette party. Ohmy playoffs coming up with the Twins.
I know. This weekend, I'mlike, oh, I'm gonna come back
from Europe and take it easy.Last night I went to bingo. Today,
I'm going to a Twins game tomorrow. If the golfers are up big
at half, I'm leaving the gameand I'm going to Old Dominion and then
(43:29):
the Vikings game on Sunday. SoI'm like, yeah, I'm just gonna
try and fit everything impossible because lifeis meant to be lived. Tomorrow,
we're gonna run Eron's for the tailgatebecause I haven't been able to do that
yet, and then we're going toa bar in Northeast for a we'll get
together called skull World. I'm sorry, what, Yeah, skul World.
(43:55):
I don't remember the name of thebar, dive bar in Northeast. I'll
look it up. I don't knowa lot. All the peeps that are
coming in town from all around thecountry that want to get together. They're
going to school World. So ourpresence has been requested and it's at five
pm. So I think probably gothere for a couple hours and then get
home because we got to load thecar up. I gotta remember how to
(44:16):
do it all. Get to thetailgate, fire up the tailgate, spices
on the grill, let's go.We're getting some We're doing some breakfast sandwiches.
So I can't wait I'm definitely gonnaput some tailgate spices on that.
What time are you planning on gettingthere? I think I have to be
there at seven when it opens, because I'm so you know, I'm paranoid
(44:37):
about the spot. Yeah, paranoidabout the spot. So I'll probably get
there at a few minutes before sevenat least, that's the goal, gotcha,
Okay, I don't want to haveany fights. I don't want to
have any disagreements on week one Agood vibes only, only absolutely good vibes
only. So I'm excited I gottoday. I think it's going to be
(45:00):
pretty insane in the tailgate lot, just all these people that keep telling me
they're in town and stuff. Iwill say, anyone who ever wants to
come to the tailgate or whatever, please do not message I'm not trying to
be rude, but don't message meweeks in advance asking me like plans.
(45:22):
Also, just I'll post it inthe morning. What do you mean?
Like I've had people being like,oh, I'm coming to town in the
end of November for the forty nineers game. Where is the best place
to tailgate? Where should I bewhen? And it's like I don't know
what I'm doing tomorrow. Man,Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing
(45:43):
tomorrow, and I I don't.I guess I don't understand why people do
that, because like when we wentto Cincinnati, we just went to the
stadium and walked around, Like Ithink people would just get overly excited,
you know, especially when they're comingto Minnesota and it's their favorite team.
(46:05):
I think they just get super excited, which I can relate to. Yeah,
and I know I sound like abitch saying that. It's just I
don't know what's going on. Yeah, I mean, I don't know what's
going on. I don't even knowwhat's really going on Sunday. Well.
Just it's also hard too because it'slike there's really you can't just buy a
parking pass and show up in tailgate. Like and most people, if they're
(46:30):
coming to the game, they're stayingdowntown. You're like, just get your
booze the night before, walk aroundthe tailgate. Someone tailgate lots, someone
will let you hang out or stayingin the corner. Like, no one's
you're in a parking lot. It'sa free country. No one's gonna no
one's gonna pick you out unless you'rebeing a total weirdo, like just it's
fine. Yeah, no, Iknow, and I get it, like
(46:51):
people wanting wanting to know stuff. It's just that I can't tell you how
many dms I've gotten in the pastweek or a couple of weeks, and
it's like it's just overwhelming to typeit all out every time, and maybe
I should copy and paste it.Well, I sound like a bitch saying
this. It's just we don't havereserved spots in the parking lot, so
I don't want to like take thiswhole time telling somebody here's everything, here's
(47:15):
where we should be, here's wherewe will, and then that's where I'm
not, you know, or peoplehoping that you ask them to join our
tailgate? Is that which sticks outlike a store thumb if you Yeah,
it's hard to hard to miss peoplefowling. What what what would be a
(47:38):
signature of ours? Third Typeline Jumpers. Yeah, yeah, you're not gonna
find that anywhere else. So justthird Typelin Jumpers under Island. You're not
going to get that. Backstreet Boysthe call yeah, very distinctive, one
yep, yep, So just keepyour ears open for those. Yeah,
(48:00):
BWO is not playing Lindsay Lohan rumorslike, so for sure, But how
are you feeling about the game Sunday. I'm a little concerned about Tampa Bay's
defense, so I've got a greatone, so I'm a little concerned.
I'm very excited to see Justin Jeffersonobviously, I mean this is his third
(48:22):
year, so can he keep replicating? How is Kirk gonna? I mean,
I think the whole world should bein love with Kirk there not after
a quarterback. Have you ever seena bigger and faster public perception shift on
(48:42):
someone than Kirk Cousins this summer?Nope? Nope in history, I saw
something that was like when Creed announcedthat they were reuniting or whatever. Someone
quote tweeted it and was like, big, big off season for Kirk Cousins.
Oh, it's genius. Rights.Yeah, I'm excited. I think
(49:06):
I'm to see what Chaos is goingto do in his second year as head
coach. Brian Flores in there, thank god Ed is gone. I'm I'm
excited to see what our defense cando. I think it's gonna look very
different because obviously we have some likeyou know, with Eric Kendricks being gone,
that's huge. So it's the mostexcited I've been going into a season
(49:30):
in a long time, maybe sincetwenty seventeen. And that is because of
the defense, because of the unknown, not necessarily knowing what it's going to
look like, not knowing how whatplayers are going to have the most impact.
You know, they kept six safeties, how's that all gonna play in?
(49:50):
And just knowing that there is somebodyleading the defense that is so aggressive.
I am really looking forward to seethat because it's just we haven't had
a lot of unknowns the past fewseasons. Obviously, when Kevin O'Connell came
in, Yeah, what's gonna happen? But we knew we had these offensive
playmakers. We don't really know whatwe have in the defense necessarily right now.
(50:13):
So I'm really looking forward to seeinghow that all comes together. What
do you think about the TJ.Hawkinson contract? I know, I like
it. I agree. I thinkit's kind of odd to give the excuses
of being like his ears hurt andhe's got lower back pain and stuff,
(50:34):
and it's like everyone knows it's justa contract, Like, just I get
it. Just just be upfront aboutit. That's okay, you should be
paid. You are very talented, yes, and we would love to have
you around. So let's just putit all on the table, dilly downing
and just say, you know, and I'm hoping that him not really participating
(50:55):
in preseason is gonna hold him back, but I'm sure it'll be fine.
He caught on so quickly last year. I kind of appreciate though that he
I mean, yeah, it tooka while for people to really figure out
that that ear thing was a contractissue, because I remember even at night
practice when he was doing individual drills, people weren't necessarily saying that yet.
(51:19):
I thought it was strange, becauseif you have an ear infection and your
equilibrium is off, you're not reallygoing to be running drills. But I
didn't necessarily think it was that rightaway, so I appreciated that it wasn't
that. And he still showed upto camp and he's still although he didn't
participate in team drills, he wasstill in the film room with the guys
and still still you know, gettingto know people and participating that way,
(51:43):
just not as much physical. Soit didn't bug me as much as you
know, some of these players thatyou see who just don't even show up
to camp or kind of make ita spectacle. Yeah, but it was.
I mean, that's really Quasy's firstlong term extension deal that he's done,
Beau. All the other ones havebeen order well hopefully and it pays
off well. I I felt likethey were going to need to do what
(52:07):
they had to to keep him, especially when they gave up a second round
pick for him too. So youdon't want him to just walk away.
Yeah, so I'm glad that theydid work that out. I feel really
good about the game this weekend.Okay, as it doesn't feel normal to
say that. I thought that itwas a six point spread, but I
(52:28):
just checked in now it's only fourunless my sources are right now. Yeah,
but a few days ago on Wednesday, I think it was six.
I mean, it's not. Itmight just be like a huge swing,
but it might be the source.I am also looking at a different source
than I did last time, butI keep the only thing that stuck in
(52:51):
my mind about it is remember theBrowns game two years ago with Baker Mayfield,
And yeah, it was Baker playedabsolutely terrible, but he didn't necessarily
play terrible because of the Vikings. He just had no accuracy and he couldn't
complete a pass. But we stilllost. We still lost, and they
(53:12):
never the Vikings, like never steppedup to win the game, which I
don't think that's going to be anissue at all. But I just want
to change the narrative of Baker Mayfieldin US being stadium. But I think
I'm actually and this might be crazy. I picked them in my in the
Splash Sports Survivor pool and I neverpicked the Vikings, So okay, well
(53:37):
I could bite me fingers crossed.Hopefully it pays off. Speaking of everyone,
if you haven't already signed up forSurvivor League, there is a ten
dollars buying and a twenty five dollarsbuying. You can do as many entries
as you want, or you canjust do the one winner take all,
So please sign up. It reallyhelps us out and it's fun and Survival
(54:00):
League is so much easier than FantasyFootball. Yes, I and here's what
I it's my PSA every year.Unless you are Paul Charchian. I do
not care about your fantasy football team. I don't care. I don't care
who you got with your first pick. I hope you're happy. I understand
fantasy football makes people happy whatever, but I don't want to hear about it.
(54:22):
Are you playing fantasy this year?Nope? Yeah, I got asked
too, and I was just likeI always I'll do well for the first
couple of weeks and then I'll forgetabout it, and then as soon as
I start losing, I go RandyMoss on the bit and I just I'm
like, I'm not Yeah, I'mhands up, like right, I don't
I'm not doing it. So Ifeel like it's difficult for when you actually
(54:45):
physically go to the games, becausenot only are you super you know,
distracted in the mornings you can't bewatching like any last minute substitutions, but
also when you go to the game, it's an all day affair. It's
not just you can't watch what's goingon in other you know, teams,
what's going on throughout the league. So then when I get home on Sunday
(55:06):
nights to watch, I have noidea what happened the entire day with any
team other than the Vikings. Soit's like really hard to be that into
it when that's your schedule and Icare about my team. Is that like
I don't. I don't ever wantto have a rooting interest in someone else's
team. I care about the Vikings, well except for the Lions obviously,
(55:31):
but that I mean, we literallystarted out the podcast about the Lions fan
line. But so I just Ican't. I like the Lions, but
obviously I always want the Vikings towin. Like, I'm never going to
be like, I hope, youknow, whatever I'm on, run Saint
Brown or whatever has a great gameagainst the Vikings. You know, that's
(55:54):
just never I'm never going to belike, oh wow, I hope Saint
Brown has the best game again, the best game ever. But I want
the Vikings still. Yeah, no, no, no, no, I
don't mind to torch our defense, like that's not good for business. Okay,
Yeah, So I got out ofmy leagues this year because I somehow
got coerced into joining a I don'teven know if dynasty is the correct thing,
(56:20):
but it's when you build your entireroster, and so you have literally
this draft one on for a month. I'm not exaggerating because it was like
fifty or rounds. You just draftliterally anyone. So I'm in that now,
which I really resented, and Iwas pissed off when they made us
do the draft in May. Iwas so pissed. But now I'm like,
(56:42):
wow, it's great because it's alldone. So that's it. But
yeah, Survivor League, for thosewho do not know how to play.
You have to pick one winner ofone game that you think is a lock
each week, and you cannot pickthe same team twice, so you have
to be strategic in the way thatyou pick it. Last night, when
I blame this to someone, Isaid, so, you probably wouldn't want
(57:02):
to pick the Chiefs week one.You probably want to save that till the
end. And then I said,oh crap, well that that doesn't apply
because they're playing the lines. Okay, who else? Who else? Maybe
the Eagles? You probably don't wantto pick them week one? You want
to save it. You have tohave strategy. That's why we are allowed
to bet real money on it inMinnesota, because take strategy and logic to
be good game theory exactly. Soplease sign up. You have till Sunday
(57:27):
and when some money oh splash sportslink and bio. My link is in
the bio. Well we should probablywrap this up. And you want to
do a prediction for the Vikings game, Oh well, yeah, I wanted
to get I don't. Let's geta game prediction and then after that we'll
do our season prediction. Oh god, I can go first, go ahead.
(57:52):
So for game I, like Isaid, I feel pretty confident about
it, and I think that theoffense is going to get off to a
quick start. And this year we'renot going to have those lulls in the
second and third quarter like we hadlast year. I think we're gonna be
a little more consistent. So I'mgonna I think that they're gonna score.
I'm gonna go with thirty one toseventeen. I was gonna say twenty one
(58:15):
seventeen Vikings the good guys, goodguys. I'm gonna say for season ten
and seven. Yeah, I wentten and seven when I went through it
the other night to do my predictionfor believe, when the schedule came out.
(58:38):
I believe, I said nine andeight and I went through it,
and I'm feeling good. So I'mgoing ten and seven. And it is
going to be between them and Detroitfor the division, especially after what I
saw last night. Yes, andit's a bad year to be a Packers
or Bears fan for sure. Idon't know if necessarily about the Packers.
(59:01):
I'm not sold on that yet becauseit's just too unknown. It's too unknown,
and I think anytime we've I justI don't like counting them out because
it always bites me. Yeah, well here's that. Okay, Well let's
end on what inspired me for theweek, and it's a quote from Michael
(59:24):
ult Sure. I don't know howto pronounce his last name, but I
love the quote. The bad newsis time flies. The good news is
you're the pilot. And that kindof struck the chord with me. Struck
a chord with me after how quicklymy vacation went, and it was amazing,
(59:45):
but I made sure to I feellike I really took advantage of every
opportunity of seeing amazing things and spendingtime with my favorite people and also just
kind of the summer overall went byin an absolute f so I but I
feel like I lived, I tookadvantage of every single fun thing in good
(01:00:07):
time that I could possibly have, and still working my dream job. And
yesterday was exactly six months at myjob. So yeah, it's it's been
a fast six months. But Ifeel like I've really lived it to the
fullest, and I'm thriving. I'mthriving, thriving. So all right,
well, school, school, rollthe boat, sky, go go first,
(01:00:31):
Go first. See y'all Sunday.Bye.
