It's something we never told each other. But I look
up her like a rest record from before I was born.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Whoa hold on? I didn't know you could do?

Speaker 7 (02:57):
Okay, go go, And it turns out that like she
wasn't arrested, but my dad was like the month I
was conceived, so like they never told me about it,
but I never told them that I know.

Speaker 6 (03:10):
So wait, wait, wait, wait, your dad was arrested around
the time that you were conceived.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Yeah, for putt, you were a sogical baby.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
I just like, you know, you get curious and this
is something that they didn't really have in their generation.
So you know, we have the Internet and yeah, live.

Speaker 8 (03:31):
And learn and look it up.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
You've never asked your parents like if they've ever been
to jail and stuff like that. I have those talks
with my dad all the time.

Speaker 7 (03:39):
I guess I'm just waiting for the right moment, but
I just don't know when that is Mother's.

A full show every afternoon, whatever you want.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
It's Strawberry and Lizette on Sacramento's New Kiss one oh
seven point nine.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Sacramento's New Kiss, one oh seven point nine. It's Strawberry
and we're gonna keep everyone anonymous. But we want to
know what is something that you had never told your mom?
Tell us now and maybe tell her Sunday on Mother's Day,
let's go to El Grove.

Speaker 8 (04:10):
So it was the middle of the day and I
was super hungry. This was back when I was like fourteen,
so I didn't have a driver's license, or anything. I
really wanted to go to McDonald's really bad, but my
mom was asleep because she worked nice and I was like,
you know what, I got to make this happen. I
got to go to McDonald's. So I told my mom's
car went to the drive through McDonald's.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
I don't know why.

Speaker 8 (04:30):
They didn't care. They didn't say anything.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
I got my food.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
It's none of their business.

Speaker 8 (04:35):
It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. But on my way
out of the drive through, I scraped against one of
those little like pylon things, you know, that yellow thing
at the end of the drive uh huhol. I accidentally
bumped one of those, just a tiny bit and it
it left this little like dent in her car door,
and she noticed it later, but I just like I
guessed her, even thinking it was already there.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
I was like, oh no, I think I think you
just you just admitted to several different crimes.

Speaker 8 (05:03):
She's like, do you know how this goot here? I
don't remember seeing this earlier.

Speaker 6 (05:05):
I must have been really tired this morning driving home
from work.

Speaker 8 (05:09):
I got away with it.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Until you want to join the conversation, send Strawberry and
Lizette a talkback message while you stream the New Kiss
when I was seven point nine on the always Free
iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
Aftermena was New Kiss one of seven point nine Strawberry
lysett in the afternoon and.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Who does that? Does that?

Speaker 6 (05:25):
A guy in Whichita tried to settle a drug debt
by stealing an antique, irreplaceable cannon from a public park.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
A cannon. Yes.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Gordon Pierce, avid drug USERKA told police that his dealer
gave him a pound of drugas to sell, but it
got stolen.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
His dealer didn't believe him and wanted his money right.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Okay, classic drug dealer, him and his family like the
whole nine Yes.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
So Gordon did what any desperate crackhead would do, and
he stole an eight hundred pound cannon gifted to the
city in night eighteen hundred from a park.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
He dragged it over.

Speaker 6 (06:04):
A mile to a friend's house, cut it into pieces,
and then brought the chunks to his drug dealer to
try to settle his twenty thousand dollars debt. The police
followed the tracks from the cannon and led them right
to Gordon to not only find the cannon in pieces,
but also more drugs.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
So you can imagine the charges this guy got on him.
None of that makes any sense to me? What is
going on?

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Like?

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Who put the idea in his head? Like this ought
to settle the debt?

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Yeah, that cannon right there, that's gotta be worth a
fortune in pieces.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Let me take it, let me chop it up, give
it to this guy. What tool did you use to
chop up a cannon?

Speaker 6 (06:44):
How did you drag eight hundred pounds for over a mile?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
I have questions? Does that? Who does that?

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Screaming live Strawberry and Lazette every afternoon from three till seven.

Ginger podcast we just uploaded yesterday called Cake Up Your Nose,

Speaker 6 (07:12):
We went down some dark rabbit holes. It really was yesterday, Like,
I don't know how we got there. I was thinking
about that this morning, like how did we get that far?

Speaker 3 (07:20):
We went both ends of the spectrum, didn't we Yeah,
big celebration to dark funerals and then stuff.

Speaker 6 (07:26):
Up your nose and ghosts seances.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
So anywhere to stream your podcast just searts the Mexican
Ginger podcast, or you go straight to Kiss one oh

Speaker 6 (07:47):
Sam Simon Cowell was offered money to judge a couple's
bedroom activity.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Yeah, it's Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's new Kiss one
o seven point nine.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
Apparently celebrities get so very odd and sometimes NSW requests
nsf W request from fans. Let's add Simon Cowell to
the list. This is actually so hilarious to me. He
was on a podcast telling a story about a time
a couple approached him in a restaurant for a photo
and then proposed him with an offer he just couldn't refuse.

Speaker 9 (08:21):
Would you just having sex? I'm like, are you winding
me up? They went, no, we'll pay you how much?
And they actually it was a little money. It was
one hundred and fifty fine, it was one hundred and
fifty grand. Yet I feel do I not? I just
cal him through it.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
I love the.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Fact that Simon didn't turn it down in a way
he's like, are you sure how much?

Speaker 4 (08:42):
It's just real? But he did actually refuse it.

Speaker 6 (08:45):
I'm sure he considered it for like two minutes, like
for real, because that's a easy money right there, and
a lot he.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Is a that's nothing to him. He is a multi millionaire. Yeah, but.

Speaker 6 (08:56):
Just going to task that like the easiest one hundred
and fifty. He doesn't have to do any work. Yeah,
he literally just has to sit there. Clearly this couple
wants him to be rude to them while they're doing it.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Yeah, you know, I would have done it just for
the plot, Like what I'm saying, such a good story.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
To tell, like when you get older and be like
pathe Tech. Yeah, which one would you rather be? Lasette
in that bedroom? Would you rather be a Simon performer
or a judge? A judger? You'd rather be Simon Coli.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
That's easy money right there, same piece headlines he got Strawberry.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Well locally, there's a lot to do this weekend.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
In Sack the A's kick off their three game homestand
against the Yankees tonight, the car Lovers are gonna want
to be out there tomorrow in Carmichael for the Maid
in Italy Italian Car and Motorcycle Festival. The Strawberry Festival
is happening at the Yolo Fairgrounds in Woodland Saturday. Once again,
no invite, no offer to host the thing or be

(09:51):
the Grand Marshal. They are missing out.

Speaker 6 (09:53):
They even know you exist, Like you should go and
like bake them some muffins and be like, Hi, I'm Strawberry.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I'm not gonna bake muffins, but I should that know
that I am a thing. I exist as you say.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Like you need to go say hi, I should all right,
whoever's running this.

Speaker 6 (10:08):
Space your little uh you're gluten free banana nut bread
that would be making It's good. I like it.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
And also if you want to celebrate Mother Earth on
Mother's Day weekend, the Whole Earth Festival is at the
UC Davis Squad going on all weekend.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Never miss Admitted with Strawberry and Lazette on Kiss one
oh seven point nine.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Stream live every afternoon from three to seven on me
Always Free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (10:31):
Sacramento is a new Kiss one o seven point nine
is Strawberry and Lasette.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
In the afternoon. I have a message for the men
out there listening.

Speaker 6 (10:40):
If you are bald and or feeling insecure about it,
I'm here to.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
Tell you don't.

Speaker 6 (10:46):
Because women are finding bald men more attractive than men
with the full head of hair. This is new, This
is just coming out. Baldness two women. It's perceived as
more socially mature, intelligent, educated and honest, like.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Morris Chestnut bald. Like what's that guy's name, the British dude.
It's in the action movies all the time.

Speaker 6 (11:11):
Uh oh, like he's always like the hit man Statham, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Jason Statham bald, Yeah, stud like that.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
They like bald and you know, fit body type, nice physique, whatever.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Okay, but bald is in bald as beautiful as they say.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
So if you if you are holding on to what
you've got left, you might as well just go ahead
and let it go. You might you might find your
soulmate after that.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
There's a couple people, couple people listening in the office
down the hall who this should resonate to.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
So I didn't say that, Strawberry did. Just we're offering
some munch drop names. Go ahead and drop names.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Oh we don't do that. Here, we do it on
the podcast, The Mexican Ginger Podcast. We will air them out.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Interesting.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
Would you ever if you felt like it made you
more attractive to women, would you shave your head?

Speaker 3 (11:59):
No?

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Oh, I have great hair.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Like if I was baldan if I was like obviously
holding on to something that's not there.

Speaker 6 (12:06):
They think that's the difference, right there is. I've never
looked for a man.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
Who was bald.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
Uh huh, But I will say I do notice if
they're holding on.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Yeah yeah, yeah, like tell right, pull the trick, right right.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
I'm purposely shedding off this locks for uh not this
rock trend on social media.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Just do it once. It's gonna grow back. If your
hair's that immaculate, it'll it'll go back, it'll go back.
Come out of the A's game this week and see
me and my hair.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
Do it for the plot.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Good full show every afternoon, whenever you want.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
It's Strawberry and Lizette on Sacramento's New Kiss one oh
seven point nine.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
It is time for your daily dose of good news.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
It's Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's New Kiss one oh
seven point nine. We give you what's good every afternoon
around this time, and we all know that it's graduation season,
so I love these stories come out every year. Normally
at the commencement ceremony, right, it's the parents and the
audience watching their children get the diplomas.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
But for the.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Lee family at Georgia State University, they are all taking
part because a mother and three of her daughters, all
three of her daughters are going to be all graduating
at the exact same time.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
They're graduating together.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Four grads in the family. That's another's day weekends, I believe.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
So so the mom, Kuila Lee, she's a middle school teacher,
which is awesome enough. She went back to school and
got her master's degree, so that's one graduate. Her daughter
Rakila Lee, also earned her masters, so that's two master's
degrees in the family. Then we have the twins, Camilla
and Kaleia Lee. They just got their first college diplomas.

(13:49):
So it just happened to work out that all four
of them were finished with their courses all at the
same time. The University of Georgia describes the Lee family
as life long learners, and the mom and the three
daughters say they are glad they all got to celebrate together.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
That's the universe right there telling them so for it
to be.

Speaker 6 (14:10):
A coincidence that they're just all graduating at the same time,
Like stop.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Yeah, that's incredible, sky Daddy.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Shout out to the class of twenty twenty five, all
the graduates and the very proud parents out there.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
It is graduation season. I want to join the conversation.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
