Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's New Kiss one oh
seven point.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Nine Strawberry and Lazette giving you Hella headlines right now.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
After almost a week of suspension and drama, Disney has
finally decided to bring Jimmy Kimmel Live back to air
on ABC starting tomorrow. Disney said, quote, we made the
decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further
inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.
(00:29):
We spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy
and reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I wonder if anything that backlash helped them make that decision,
because even today this you.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Mean all the boycotting, Yeah, even today story came out,
like four hundred celebrities signed this letter condemning the suspension
of Kimmel.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Everybody from Jennifer Anderson, Selena Gomez, Jamie Lee Curtis, like
big names were like that's not right. So I don't
know if that helped them make the decision.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Was less of that and more of all the money
that they were losing.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Could be possibly.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Jimmy Kimmel will reportedly address everything during his show taping tomorrow,
which we'll see tomorrow nights. So see what he has
to say.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Big show, Huge, Big show tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Wen you got Strawberry, I will locally.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
In sports, the A's lost in Pittsburgh. The Giants beat
the Dodgers, the Raiders lost, and the Niners won. Niners
are three to zero for the season, which is crazy
because they're using a backup quarterback and a field goal
kicker that was literally on the couch watching the Niners
on TV three weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Why you hating?
Speaker 2 (01:39):
No, it's all like it's not stacked in their favor.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Kind of sounds like you're hating.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Raiders will come back. Don't worry.
Speaker 1 (01:46):

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Sacramento's new Kiss one of seven point nine. Strawberry and
Lizza in the afternoon. I might sound like a boomer
being so fascinated by this, Okay, but I just discovered
nope necklaces. So when you go to theme parks that
are having scary nights, okay, with Halloween right around the corner,
(02:30):
I guess there's necklaces that people can wear that they
light up and they flash or whatever, but they let
the scary monsters know that they're easily scared and that
they don't want to get scared, and the scary monster
is walking around the park will leave you alone. Oh
and it's called a nope necklace.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah, as in nope. You shouldn't be doing that to
a you go to a haunted house, you're getting scared,
you're getting haunted. If I'm afraid of flights, Lisette, if
I'm afraid of heights, I don't go to the pilot
on my next flight like, hey, look, man, stay load
to the ground. Yeah, can you help around five hundred
feet because here's my nope necklace. I'm scared up there.
The Pilot's like, no, man, you get on the flight.
(03:09):
You know what you're in for.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
I just thought it was so interesting. I know, I've
never go to these scary Halloween nights.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
You don't go to any haunts with your son.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
No, he doesn't like scary stuff. I love scary I
like scary stuff, but it's different when it's like on
a movie screen or when it's in your face and
they can touch you and stuff like. I've never been
to the ones at Great America or Universal Studios or
anything like that. And I saw TikTok of this girl
walking around just like POV, I have a nope necklace on,
(03:40):
and all of the monsters and scare actors would just
like look at her and then turn and keep walking.
And I'm like, it's like an invisible shield.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
You're a nope necklace, girly. I can tell no, I
wouldn't wear one. No, but just your aura, you're a
nope necklace Gurly. Yeah, it seems like.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
No, No, I wouldn't wear one. I totally would go
no necklace naked. Let's go then, but my son doesn't like.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
Oh you want to join the conversation, Send Strawberry and
Lizette a talkback message while you stream the new Kiss
one o seven point nine on the always free iHeartRadio
app Kiss.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
One oh seven point nine at Strawberry and lazette In
the afternoon, I was just searching online of what these
nope necklaces look like at different haunted houses, and yeah,
you're okay, so you're right. Different places call them different things.
One is a ghost and it says no boo. Another
one says deathly afraid. Other places call them no scared necklaces.
So basically they're saying, if you want a less frightening experience,
(04:36):
put these on.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
It's a big necklace and it lights up so that
the actors, the scare actors can like see you in
the dark, and no, not to scare you. I just
posted a video actually on our Instagram.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
At one oh seven nine kiss. I'm not into it.
I think Halloween should be all or nothing. Haunted houses
should be all or nothing. You go deep. If you
don't want to be scared, you stay home. What about you.
Speaker 5 (04:59):
I used to be a scare actor. Oh okay, and
I've seen these necklaces and I would always just do
one of three things whenever I saw them. I would
either ignore the kid.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Oh nor the kid. Sorry, it's not gonna say ignore
the necklace.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Or I was I would stay in character and just
you know, have fun with them.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
The opposite of scary.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
Yeah, or I will make sure they would have my
attention and then I would point to the necklace and
scream and run away.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
I like that one. Oh so you're scared of okam?
Speaker 5 (05:30):
Yeah pretty, Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Okay, Well that's good because my thing was why go
to these events and wear a nope necklace and like
not get the full experience. But this way you're still
interacting with them, so they're still having fun. They're just
they're just not getting scared.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
Right exactly.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I still think it's all or nothing, Like, don't go
to these haunted houses or these scary places if you're
not going to participate, like you're not allowed to be
a voyeur. You're either all in or nothing.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
I wouldn't walk through a haunted house with a NOK
necklace on, right, I'm just not gonna go in.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
I like how you handle it though. I like your stuf.
Speaker 1 (06:06):

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Who does that?
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Kiss one of seven point nine Strawberry and Liza. In
the afternoon, there's a new friend really picking up in China.
The youngins are getting teeth tattoos oo. So when I
first saw the story and I thought, ooh, this sounds stupid.
I'm gonna do this today, And then I started reading
more about it, I was like, hold on, I kind
(08:36):
of like it. It does sound like a lot of work, though,
but basically they're using three D printers to print out
designs to put them on crowns, and then a dentist
will like install the crowns on their teeth in their mouth.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Those teeth gems, those teeth jewels were a big thing,
just like five six years ago.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Oh yeah, I had them for hell a long Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
So now the teeth tato twos are the next hit tattoos.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Some dentist's office are even offering these teeth tattoos as
an added bonus for people who are already getting crowns. Okay,
so some of the more popular designs or anything from
like getting your partner's initials or your lucky numbers, those
are some pretty popular ones. This is kind of like
the people who bling out there in visiline and then
(09:23):
wear them like their teeth trays. Yeah, but then they
could just pop them out. It's like the same thing
with these crowns when they don't want them anymore and
take the crown off, switch it out for something new.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Would you go in for tooth tattoo? All right, then
let's book a fly I.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
You don't want to pay for it though? Who does that?
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Who does that?
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Good trend gets Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's New Kiss
one O seven point nine.
Speaker 2 (09:46):

All right, let's try. Let's give it to the real
A's broadcasters. Here's Chris Carey and Dallas Braden two one

on the way. Tom Holland injured on the set of
Spider Man The Full Show, Every Afternoon.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Whatever you want, it's Strawberry and Lizette on Sacramento's new
Kiss one oh seven point nine.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Hella headlines right now.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Production on Spider Man's brand's A New Day was halted
Friday after Tom Holland was injured on set during a
stunt gone wrong. He was actually hospitalized and treated for
a mild concussion, so he'll be sitting out filming for
a few days to recover. It sounds scary, but he
was actually seen out with his fiancees and Daya at
(11:29):
a charity event over the weekend. So I'm going to
assume that he's doing fine and he's just taking a
few days off to rest.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Concussions are scary.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
A mild concussion, all right, Well, obviously he's fine. He
was at a charity event.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Well that's the one I'm asking you because you went
to nursing school for like three months. That's the one
where you're not supposed to fall asleep at night, right
when you have a concussion? Yeah, I think did you
You didn't eat?
Speaker 3 (11:55):
I didn't make it that far. Yea, I know body parts.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
But there's a head injury. Because my friend got a
car accident. I think it's a concussion. You're not supposed
to let them sleep, yeah, if they.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Can't fall asleep. Yeah, it's the same with carbon monoxide poisoning.
Can't go to sleep. But I mean it's Monday.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Any spider man, so sure he didn't stay.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Up for three days. He's fine, Yeah, day is there
by LNDY got strawberry all right.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Locally, it was not hard to hear to hear about
the ABC ten station out here in Sacramento.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
That was shot in my gosh.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yes, luckily no one was injured and the shooter was
arrested like just hours later. So authorities are trying to
figure out the motives of the sixty four year old
shooter and if the show the shooting was politically motivated,
but it was a national story, like I would go
on TMZ either like ABC ten TV and Sacramento got
shot up, and like he was sixty four four and
(12:52):
from what I'm hearing, like he stood on the series,
he's still on the street, fired one shot in the air,
and then like nothing happened to him. So two minutes
later he's like, all right, well let me shoot the building. Now,
shot the building a couple times and then just drove off.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
What happened to just go into the park and playing chess.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Maybe that's what he should be doing.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
What kind of activities are these old people doing?
Speaker 2 (13:13):
He got a concussion? No, tom halla, he got a
tom holla?
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Nah?
Speaker 2 (13:18):
All right, Well, we'll see we want to join the conversation.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
Send Strawberry and Lizette a talkback message while you stream

Speaker 3 (13:27):

Send me a talkback message with your name, city, and

Speaker 2 (13:42):
We've got a new keyword every hour, so good luck
with that. It's Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's New Kiss
one oh seven point nine. Can we give credit to
Harry Styles.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
Not for stating his ex's best friend.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Well, there's that, and not just not just everything he's
accomplished musically and as an artist. He ran the Erlin
Marathon over the weekend. Marathon is twenty six point two miles.
Oh no, he finished it in less than three hours,
which is una good. It's an incredible pace I had.
I had marathon on my bucket list, and a couple
(14:16):
of years ago, bunch friends and I we trained are
butts off to run a marathon in Kona, Hawaii, and
I did pretty good. I finished first out of all
of my group, it was four hours. In like twelve minutes.
Harry Styles did it in less than three hours, Like
he was smoking people on that course.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
You know how much TikTok I can sit and scroll
on for three hours?
Speaker 2 (14:39):
Again, time flies, time flies, very pretty, you know what's funny?
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Also, go ahead, well okay, so what I don't know
if you did the math, and sorry to put you
on the spot. It's how long did it take him
to do a mile?
Speaker 2 (14:53):
His splits were like six minutes? Was that maybe like
six ten, six fifteen something like that? Okay, again, very impressing.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
Like the average person, what does that look like running
a mile?
Speaker 1 (15:06):
No?
Speaker 3 (15:06):
No, no, How long does it take the average person
to run a mile?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Average person running a mile, I'm gonna say ten minutes.
The average person listening right now, you're probably running a
ten minute mile. That's four laps around the track if
you're back in high school.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Yeah yeah, wow, okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
And it's funny somebody as famous as Harry Styles can't
just sign up for a marathon like Harry Styles checking in.
He used a fake name. He used stead Sorendos, sted Sarndos.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
He probably couldn't use his real name and people would
have been like, show, okay, Styles is here.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
I'm gonna sign up for my next marathon as Harry Styles.
We'll see what happens.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
He's dreaming live, Strawberry said every afternoon from three till seven.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
On Sacramento's New Kiss one oh seven point nine and
Kiss one O seven point nine dot com, giving you
your daily dose of.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
A good stories. Here Sacramento's New Kiss one of seven
point nine Strawberry Lissa in the afternoon. A nine year
old boy saved his dad's life by donating his stem cells.
When his dad, doctor Nick Mondeck, was diagnosed with cancer,
nine year old Stephen became the youngest person in the
history of Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA to donate
(16:22):
stem cells, which were used to help kickstart a new
immune system for his dad. He had acute my Lloyd leukemia.
He'd been battling this for years already and had previously
received a successful stem cell transplant from his brother that
led it to going into remission. But when it returns
this year, he needed a new donor, and that's when
(16:42):
doctor suggested his son, and Stephen immediately was like, yeah,
when do we go. When do we start? What do
I need to do? After weeks of testing and blood
work and shots, both doctor Nick and his son Stephen
spent weeks in the hospital for the high risk procedure,
and after being closely monitored, he and his new immune
system got to go home. Now it'll take some time
(17:03):
to know whether or not it'll fight his leukemia, but
everyone's super optimistic. The doctors are very optimistic, and family
especially so proud of Stephen for stepping up to be
his dad's donor. Was a huge thing he did for him.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Love that It's Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's new Kiss.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Point in the afternoon. So Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon,
we all know them, We love them. They've been friends forever.
They were playing a game of do you even know me? Okay,
when Jennifer Aniston, after twenty five years of friendship, just
found out that Reese Witherspoon is not her real name.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
No, that's confusing.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
I'm Lar Jean, La Jean. That's my real name. Laura
Large Laura, Wait, Laura Jean.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
I'm like, I'm calling you that from now on. Yeah,
no kidding, Can you Imagine I have a bunch of
friends who we just talked to each other in nicknames. Right,
So not everybody who I'm really good friends with knows
my real name. They just know me as Strawberry.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Okay, right?
Speaker 2 (18:12):
But and also I have a bunch of friends and
my fiance goes, well, what's his real name? I'm not
calling him monkey. I'm like, I don't know. We just
always called a monkey for the over the last ten years.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
It's one thing if you're calling your friends or you
know your friends by a nickname that's clearly a nickname. Sure,
this girl's nickname, huh is Reese Witherspoon. Like that sounds
like a real name. Everybody calls her that. That's how
she's credited in all her movies and films and TV
and everything.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Reese Witherspoon's her stage name.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Imagine finding out that's not her real name. I would
be flabbergastid And what was it?
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Laura Jean Jean Lauren Lauren Jan Laura Jean Laura Jean.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Laura Jean Witherspoon. Is that even her last name?
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Witherspoon's probably not even her real last name.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
The Full Show every afternoon Whenever you want.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
It's Strawberry and Lazette on Sacramento's New Kiss, one oh
seven point nine
