Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thanksgiving is just days away, and sometimes even though you're
surrounded by love, friends and family, there could be one
person that can ruin the day.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Who is that for?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
You give us a call.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
This morning seven oh two seven nine six one six five,
And I know you're gonna have a very busy Thanksgiving, Sean,
because you mentioned you're going to two events. But you
said that one of the events that you were already
warned about a particular person that will maybe cause a
little drama on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Yeah, So we're going to two different potlucks on Thanksgiving Day,
which is I mean, it's we're thankful for that. But
the second one we're going to is family, and we
have been told that there is a cousin who routine
and look, you can't choose your family, right you kind
of you can't almost can't say don't come. But there's
a particular cousin that shows up every year and tends

(00:48):
to indulge a little bit too much in you know,
the spike dignog, so to speak. So we have been warned,
like you know, we'll have the kids playing in their
own area in case things get a little rowdy. But
this person tends to over do it every single year
and cause a scene.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Do you Are you appreciative of that heads up or
would you rather not have known that?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
No? I would. I definitely appreciate the heads up, but
just I like.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
To be aware, especially when I'm bringing my kids anywhere
for that matter.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
It starts what I might get h Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
And also it's just, uh, you know, I don't want
to be caught off guard by anything. So I think
it's actually kind of a courtesy that they mentioned that
before we go there.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
No, that's a good point.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
And you know what, now you can be on the lookout,
and you're right, if you have your kids there, you
kind of want to know who's around, just in case
things get a little out of control. So I already
see that the lines we have people on hold this morning.
Let's start with Dale. Good morning, Dale. Happy Thanksgiving week?
But who usually ruins Thanksgiving?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
My uncle cooks for every Thanksgiving and it's delicious.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
But you can't stop bringing up politics. How much he
loves to disagree with everyone. It's the worst every year.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Yeah, the the ultimate contrarian, right, they just have to
start the political I get it. And this is not
the year for that either. Like in an election year,
it's worse than usual.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
So I get that, maybe, like families everywhere just need
to put a sign outside the front door and say, like,
no political talk. Take your political opinions elsewhere, don't bring
it inside, like pre warned people with like a sign
so you don't have to like verbally say it, because yeah,
no one needs that this year.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
That's honestly, such a great idea right there on the
front doors.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
It's just big politics with a big circle in a
line through it, right, none of that. This is a
lot Nikki. How about you, Nikki? Who ruins Thanksgiving? Every year?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I think in my family it's usually the youngest kid.
They ruin Thanksgiving. They get tired of all the people
being around, all the noise, and.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Then they start flushing.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
And having a meltdown, and it kind of ruined it
for everybody.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, yeah, the meltdowns. I get that.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
I mean, especially if they don't have other kids to
play with and they're stuck like adult time. I can
understand getting antsy about that.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yeah, I mean, you can't blame them, right, It's just
like I feel like I'm living that right now with
like a two and a half year old, Like I know,
like there are certain places he's just not gonna vibe with,
Like I'd rather just keep it at home and keep
it simple. Like that's tough. Certain ages can be harder
than others.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Most definitely, Aaron, let's go to you two. What do
you think who's always ruining Thanksgiving every year?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Well, that would be my sister because she has a
bazillion health issues, although they are, to her credit, mostly
out of her control. So we've got to perform all
the culinary duties with about a thousand dietary restrictions in mind,
and doing gymnastics while cooking, and inevitably, even though it's

(03:36):
not enough, we've got to remake something.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Remember what I said about not being able to choose
your family. I'm sorry, er.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Some things you can't control, right, that's a tough one.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, I'm sorry, Erin.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
I hope your sister gets through her health issues here.
Maybe they're not as bad for her this year. We
got a few more people on hold. We'll take some
more calls next
