Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunny Winter of
six point five Las Vegas Christmas Music Station. Now, I've
stayed in many an airbnb, and in my life, Joanna,
I've never experienced anything like this. And it's what's our
sunny story today all about?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Yeah, this is so sweet. So two travelers decided to
wrap up their stay in Finland by celebrating their airbnb
host birthday so he didn't have to spend the day
by himself. And that is just so nice. Now, these travelers,
their name is Jessica and Danny, and they went on
a dream vacation to Finland. Now, they stayed in an airbnb,
and one of the reasons they stayed in this airbnb

is because it had amazing reviews about how kind the
host was. And then once they got to kind of
know who their host was. His name is Tarmo.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
By the way, Tarmo. That's a finished name right there.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
They decided, you know what, let's get to know him
a little bit more, learn about his story. He lives
alone with his dog. And then they found out that
his birthday was coming up, and they're like, you know what,
we're not going to let him do his birthday solo.
This year, we're celebrating with Tarmo.

Very cool. I've never thought about Finland as being a
dream vacation, but I might have to check it out now.
So I have stayed. You know, when I moved here,
I stayed in someone's casita for a month. It was
as an airbnb. Yes, they were very very I mean
they're very communicated, right, I never saw them. Okay, they
were very accommodating via text, making sure I had everything

I needed. But I wouldn't I don't know that I
could figure out when their birthday was to thank them.
I mean, I thought the best I could do to
say thank you was to give them a nice review,
but I didn't know how to celebrate their birthday with them.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Well, I'll tell you what. So these two women, you know, Finland,
especially this time of the year, it's very magical for
the holidays, there's you know, reindeer experiences that you can
do and kind of and Tarmo, it sounds like, introduced
him to all these very unique Finland opportunities and he
told them where to watch their reindeer and where they
needed to eat, and gave them all the helpful tips
and also every day this airbnb host went above and beyond.

He made sure there was coffee and cookies ready for
them each morning, which I mean five star review plus.
So you know, the ladies just wanted to do something nice,
and at the end of the trip, they didn't want
to go have another Finland experience. They wanted to make
sure that the person that made their experience already so magical,
have a magical, memorable birthday to celebrate again.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I have never considered going to Finland, but now I want,
oh my gosh, just to meet Tarmo just right.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
And that's the best part about this is because this
story has gone so viral on social media. I think
even the video of the ladies singing Happy Birthday Tarmo
has a mass, like over three million views on TikTok
because of all the attention, Now everybody wants to stay
at this man's Airbnb.

I hope they learned to sing it and finish though.
