Speaker 1 (00:00):
Where is that unexpected place you went into labor or
maybe somebody you know we want to hear from you
this morning. Seven oh two, seven nine, six, one oh
six five. It's Joanna and Sean. Thank you for starting
your day off with us. I'm six weeks away from
giving birth, but I feel like I'm almost at that
point where I could go into labor maybe any day.
I don't know. Maybe I'm being dramatic, but these type
(00:20):
of things can be dramatic. And I saw an article
I think it actually, you know when you see something
on the news or or social then you can't get
out of your head.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah, and here's the thing. I'll tell you this. I've
been wondering if I need to take a crash course
in like delivering a baby, because I am legitimately getting concerned. Like,
I know, we're six weeks out, but every day I'm like,
am I gonna have to deliver a baby in a student?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Gosh? Listen if you help with that. I'm still not
naming my daughter Sean, sorry, but listen. I gave across
an article and it's been in my head. It basically
is about a husband and wife and they were just
out and about doing their daily errands, they went to
the grocery store, and as they pulled up to park
in the grocery store, the woman started going into labor.
Oh no, And they realized because where they were at
(01:03):
and how far the hospital was in the time of
the day, there was no way they were going to
be able to make it to the hospital in time
to get the baby out. So the husband helped deliver
the baby as the as the wife was reclined in
the passenger front seat, and his and their baby boy
was born in a grocery store parking lot.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
I'm going to look for like the silver linings here
that you're not on the side of a highway. You're
in a parking lot, sure, and that sure at a
supermarket where maybe there's some stuff you need there, some painkillers,
some towels. Perhaps I don't know, but.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Maybe there's a doctor shopping there on his break, you know, yeah,
right right right off or something. Yeah, you just never know,
I mean, listen, you can't fully prepare those things. And yeah,
you just always have to kind of keep in mind,
where is the closest hospital and am I going to
get there fast enough? And this couple decided they were
not so it was a very dramatic berth. But I
sure hope that this grocery store at least like congratulated
(01:55):
the couple with like a gift card or something.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Right, a gift card at the least, but still listen,
depending on where that kid's born, I'm maybe naming the
son Albert's or Smith or something.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
To matter fact, that's true, a lot of gerseesers are
after like people named. It's a good call there.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
I love that I talk about clean up on Aisle
seven almost made it.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Inside, almost, But I love that we actually have people
who've already called in this morning to share theirs stories.
So let's hear from Candas who has been on hold.
Good morning, Candas. Do you have a story about somebody,
maybe yourself or a friend who went into labor somewhere
very unexpectedly?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Okay, So, my best friend and I decided to make
the mistake of going to see a comedy show when
she was about ready to burst, and she thought she
had more time because her belly hadn't dropped yet, but
she only gained like fifteen pounds with this pregnancy, and
I swear to goodness her water broke in the middle
of the comedy show.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah, wow, something tells me laughing can can That's just
a guess. That's a pure guest right there, that laughter
would bring on labor.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
I mean, I guess that's what happened. Werehysterical. It was
a great show. And uh the show ended with her
giving birth to a beautiful baby girl. So wow.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Well I actually saw something recently on social media. It
was like an ultraus sound of like what happens to
your baby when you laugh? And like it literally looks
like your uterus is pressing on the baby. So like
maybe the comeding was so good. It's what dinner?
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Well it was? Can I say, can I say he's
a comic wise? Because I mean he's kind of hot.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Sure, go ahead, my Rife.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Oh, matt Rice, Oh yeah, he comes to a lot.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
I don't know if it was the laughter or the
hotness that brought it on, but we'll have to have
a conversation with her husband about that, right. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I love I love the combo though some people do
love them some Matt Rife, how about that he's bringing
babies into the world at his own shows.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Very cool?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
What a story.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Thank you for conin sharing that with US this morning.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Candace absolutely thanks for listening. I thought it was chairworthy.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
It's awesome.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
