Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ever notice, you know, you're sitting at home with the family,
relaxing watching TV, and you look over and your dog
seems to be enjoying the show as well. Well, we
want to hear from you this morning on what your
dog's favorite TV show is. If you're streaming us right
now through the iHeartRadio app, hit that little microphone that
pops up and leave us a message there and let
us know. Now, recently, my son is full on into
(00:24):
I won't tell you what show it is yet, but
really into like this particular show right now. Okay, And
when he was younger, I put it on. I always
wanted him to be kind of interested in it, but
until you really turn three, he hadn't showed interest. But
the good thing is is I think it's quickly becoming
my dog Bumblebees the favorite TV show too.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
So I've had a couple of minutes a thing about this, yes,
and I'm thinking, is it Blues Clues. I'm thinking of
like shows that maybe have a dog in them. Is
it Blues Clues?
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Oh, blues Cluz is a really good guest. I have
not exposed him to that show.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Ah, okay, Blues Clues.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Ah. I thought to try that one. It's not Blues Clue, okay,
but you're very close. It's bluey Ah. It is based
on a healer family, the Healers. And someone told me
once and I heard it in pass I don't know
if it's one hundred percent true, but they said that
they created that show obviously for kids and families, but
the colors that they use in that show are friendly
(01:19):
to dog's eyes, because you know, dogs see color differently.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yes, and I heard that in.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Passing one time. But I'm actually starting to believe that's
true because anytime Blue is on, my dog Bubblebee hates
every show that we watch except that show. That's the
only show that she'll sit next to us on the
couch in silence watching.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
See that's fascinating our dog jinks. Yeah, she is pretty
much indifferent to anything that's on TV, even other dogs,
unless there's a doorbell, in which case she will lose
her absolute mind and then run to the four front
door thinking someone's there.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Oh it's a doorbell in the show.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Oh yeah, if there's a knock or ahthing to that effect, like,
she'll lose her mind. Otherwise, she doesn't really care too much. Okay, Mike,
My cat has kind of like if it's a nature
show on her eyes will get all big and she'll
she'll look at like bugs and stuff and want to
attack the screen. But no, my dog's kind of just
I don't know, she's not not as much of a
catch potato as we are. Lea's watching TV.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Maybe try Bluie I will see what she thinks. Let's
see if that theory is true, because yeah, it's working
for my bumblebee right now.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Let's look at some of these talkbacks we asked you
to send us in some of the talkbacks on the
iHeart app, so, by the way, for his streaming us,
there's a little microphone button that lets you send a
voice note right to the studio with an answer to
whatever we're talking about. We call it a talkback. We
have a couple on deck right here. Who should we
start with?
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Oh, I don't know. Let's hear from Mike this morning.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
What's Mike's dog's favorite show on the talk bag?
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Mike, I got a German shepherd. She used to like
to watch Cristo the Grid Dog. All the kids love them,
and my German shepher, Leona loved it.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
To Clifford, Cliff that's a throwback dog cartoon too, it
really is. I add that one to the list.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
I've read all the books with my kids. I don't
know that I've seen the TV show.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
I know Clifford the Big Red Dome Ring No One
Done right now, I love that.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
How about let's go to Letty. Letty sent us one two.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
It's a national dog show that happens in Thanksgiving with
so many dogs. It's like the only day that you
can see him go really live, like he's just barking
at every single dog bit that walks down the catwalks.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I want to be there too, right, No.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
You know, I've seen some of my dogs in the
past get really into the National Dog Show. We love
that answer, Letty, all right, let's hear from Drey this
morning on what Dre's dog's favorite TV show is.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Anytime there's pick a ball on in my dog sees
that light green ball, he reminds him of the tennis
ball because he just goes crazy. And it's to the
point now where I feel like I got to give
him a treat. He just goes in the corner. But
anytime he sees that ball, specifically a pick a ball,
he goes wild.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Wow, that's great.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Ah that I can't. Yeah, I would imagine any kind
of like a tennis ball. There's probably some like really
rabid reactions from dogs out there. I didn't even think
about that.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
I'm not a tennis or pick a ball watcher, but
maybe I need to avoid that. When I think my
dogs would
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Bark up a storm, oh, I'm going to put it
on just for that reason.
