Speaker 1 (00:00):
So what is your significant others annoying hobby? Give us
a call seven oh two, seven nine six, one oh
six five. It's Sunday Mornings with Joanna and Sean on
Sunny Window six point five. Now, Joanna, you know that
I've been working on, or at least trying, I should say,
to work on, like some Halloween DIY projects, Like I've
been wanting to get a head start on it this
year because I feel like I always wait till the

(00:20):
last minute, which stinks, because I love Halloween so much.
It looked like you.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Were chugging along. Did something happen?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Well?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Like?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
So it took me a week. I was making these
spooky black candles out of pool noodles and hot glue
and spray paint basically, but it took me like a
week when it should have taken me probably an afternoon.
And while I was looking through some of our stuff
that we still have packed up, I found this role
of black like poster boards that I had bought three
years ago in order to cut out and put like

(00:47):
spooky monsters in the windows that I never completed. Right, So,
oh no, it's just like I'm seeing these hobbies and
then like I go into my closet and I see
the bike helmet and the glasses and the camel back
that I bought because I was like, I'm going to
be a cyclist, and I just I throw myself into
hobbies that end up kind of never coming to fruition.

(01:07):
And I don't know if that's like my ADHD or what,
but I feel like it might silently drive my significant
like my wife nuts a little bit because he has
to reel me in totally.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
You were not alone.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
My husband does the same thing. Most recently, if he
wanted to build our son Brock a sandbox, so he
like hammered together would and all this stuff put together.
That's like pretty nice sandbox. And it's been sitting in
the backyard with no sand. And I'm like, babe, you
have to see this through. Like there's this you build
the sandbox, got a nice little bench for our son,

(01:38):
little cover, but there's no sand. Go finish the project
and go get the sand. Like you did all this work.
It's been in our backyard. I want to see it.
Well over a month now and I'm like, all right,
like you gotta see this through.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Well, don't give me any ideas because now I want
to start building a sandbox and then it'll never get done.
We got a couple of people lighting our phones up
right now, let's pick up a few here. We've got
Mia on the phone. Mia, what's your significant other's annoying hobby? Puzzling?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Bought a bunch of puzzles and then started them and
then never finished them.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Ah, the incomplete puzzles. I think we have one or
two of those around the house only because they're missing pieces.
At this point, I think, well, I.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Would say during the pandemic, I feel like everybody was puzzling,
and like, yeah, I have a few we never even
opened and we intended to in twenty twenty, like four.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Year old boxes. At this point, Yes, I love it. Charlie, Charlie,
good morning. What's your significant other's annoying hobbyche crocheting?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
To be honest, I knew she wasn't gonna stick with it,
but she didn't.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Make a couple of cute things crochet. At least she
got a couple of nice things out of it.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I'm always super jealous of the creations. I mean, like
it's like it's pure talent. People can make dolls, people
make swimsuits, like all this crazy stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I'm like, I wish I knew how a crochet A
crocheted swimsuit doesn't sound uh that. I feel like that
might be hard to keep together in the water. We'll
go to Elise. What's your significant other's annoying hobby?

Speaker 3 (03:05):
I mean, I just this is so annoying to me
because we went on like one wine pasting thing. Yeah,
and now he knows everything about wine everything, and like
you can't he doesn't.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Shut up about it.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
And I'm just like, we went on one wine pasting
and now you're an expert. But now he like reads
stuff and like he smells stuff before he drinks it.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
And I'm just like, he's that guy in the restaurant.
He's at the Olive Garden asking can I smell the
red please? I'd like to let me.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Get olive garden.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Come on. No, I love this. But you know what,
though I.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Have heard this from friends of mine. It's like, yeah,
we go into wine tasting one once and now we're experts.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Like, okay, slow down,
