Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, as kids, we usually have an adult around
to cheer us on right, tell us great job, they're
proud of us. It doesn't always happen as a grown up.
It's Sunnybino. Six point five. My name is Sean. I
want to hear about the time recently as an adult,
that you just knocked something out of the park and
you were super proud of it. Seven oh two seven
nine six, one oh six five. My wife and I
recently hosted some of her family, well a lot of
(00:20):
her family at our house. I had to grow twelve
steaks up twelve I never done more than two. I
nailed it. I mean I cooked everyone's steak to perfection.
They wouldn't stop talking about how great I did. I
was on top of the moon. You couldn't tell me nothing.
So I want to hear about those things you'd out
of the park. Let's go to line three. Good morning.
Who's this is Elizabeth? Hey Liz? Can I call you Liz?
(00:41):
Is that okay?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (00:42):
All right? Cool? So I was. I was on cloud
nine after I knocked out all these steaks for my
family the other day. Because it doesn't always happen. So
what is that thing that as an adult that you
just get super proud of when you knock it out
of the park.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Okay, I think this is really weird of myself, and
I am a bit OCD. Sorry. I tend to keep
my house extremely clean and neat and orderly, including my closets.
But you know, things get out of control. You get busy,
and they get messy. So every once in a while
I have to go in and organize a closet and
I will literally go back for like a week straight
and just open the door and stair at the clean clothing.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, you're not alone, though. It feels feels really good
right to have, Like it feels like your life is
an order. It may just be a closet, but that's
like a metaphor for your entire life when you're looking
at it.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yes, and I'm like so proud of myself, Like wow,
look at the next to organize. Everything is great, Everything
is a place.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
It's silly, but I do that's perfect. That's perfect. Look
it looks great until it falls apart a week later,
just like my life.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Oh true.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Thank you so much, appreciate it, Liz, have a great day,
Thank you too. This is fun. We'll take more of
these calls next. You know, as adults, we don't get
a whole lot of pats on the bag, do we.
So that's what I'm gonna do for you this morning?
Is that patscha on the back? What is that adult task?
You absolutely? Seven oh two seven nine, six, one oh
(02:02):
six five it's sunny when it was six point five.
My name is Sean, Hello, good morning. Who's this Martin?
This is Lori. What is that thing that as an
adult you just get super proud of when you when
you knock it out of the park.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Okay, So I don't know if you're aware of this,
but like as moms, we have to do this thing
it's called like class mom where you have to like
plan parties and things and a lot of times you
don't get a lot of support from like other parents.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
So we had to do like a.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Globe party for my kids class, and I kind of
did it all myself when I was really worried how
it was going to turn out. And I did a
great job and the kids all had a great time.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
So I was like, yes, well right, that's so good.
So my my daughter is in kindergarten, we have yet
to do kind of like a class like class parent thing.
But I am embracing myself because oh yeah, we did
do soccer season last year and we every parent had
to take a game where they were like that they
had to come with snacks. Right have you been? Have
you experienced that part of life yet?
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Oh? Yeah, totally full fledged.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Snack you know what.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Okay, So I feel like I somewhat understand this, Like
you got to show up with all the right snacks
that you're hoping the kids are gonna like them. You
get the orange slices and the fruit roll ups, and
you try to get stuff that's fun but also somewhat nutritious.
So the other parents aren't like judging you, right.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Always it's like snacks and games, like, how can we
You're just basically like a circus organizer?
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yes, yes exactly, but i'd probably a little more stress
and pressure, I would say, on being class mom as
opposed to just the just the one off game that
we had to do. So my hat is off to you.
I'm glad you not get it out of the park.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, it was definitely something else worrying about.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Well, congratulations and thanks to the call this morning.
Speaker 5 (03:46):
Thanks have a good one.
Speaker 1 (03:47):

got that done. And I mean, look, no one got
electrocuted either.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
Yeah, luckily, luckily I kept all my faces and shows
no elextrocution.
Speaker 1 (05:00):

part right there. Well, thank you, Danny. Let's go to
line seven. Good morning. Who's this Hi?

my unemployment finally cleared.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
Oh my god, I'm so relieved.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Look, I'll bet Look, I know those forms are like
they're time consuming and if you answer something wrong, it
can like stall out the whole process.
Speaker 5 (05:28):
It was harder than doing the SATs, Like. I was
so worried that any wrong.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Move I'd made.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
It was confusing, and it finally worked and I'm thrilled.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Well, look, cheers to you. Hang in there and hopefully
this keeps you you floating for a while.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
It is my belief that all colleges should be attainable
and affordable, if not free, for everyone. And until that's
the case, it's important that we have organizations to help
people get the education they deserve. One of six point
five Las Vegas is best variety of the eighties nineties
And today my name is Sean with your sunny story
of the day. A local woman, a young lady here
(06:08):
in Las Vegas is about to be the first person
in her family to graduate from college. Her name is
Melanie Azame. She immigrated here from Argentina to the United
States with her mom when she was just three years old. Now,
people come to our country to succeed and that is
what she has been determined to do since she got here.
And thanks to a local nonprofit called Project one fifty,
(06:29):
she's about to graduate college, first one in her family
to do it. Now Project one to fifty they offer
free clothing, food, and financial assistance to students so they're
able to focus on their education. And Melanie said Project
one fifty was there for her the whole four years
she was in school and allowed her to focus on
her education. Now, last year, Project one fifty helped ninety
(06:49):
six students pursue higher education next year. They want to
help over one hundred and if you want to be
one of those one hundred, we're going to put all
the information you need up at Sunnymino sixty five dot com.
Just click on Sunny Mornings. Big thanks to Project one
fifty for what they do in a big congratulations to
Melanie azamme. This is Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean.
I'm Sonny one O six point five. Let's be very honest.
(07:13):
I know there's a lot of mixed opinions on Formula
one here in town. Some people love it, a lot
of people don't. It's Sunny one of six point five.
I'm Sean. I will say this. It does feel like
Formula one is trying to get people more involved here
locally by making tickets more affordable, giving people more access.
Businesses getting involved as well. Seven eleven, right off the strip,
(07:33):
getting real into it. They're going to be setting up
a giant led screen to live stream the race right
there at the intersection of Cobol and Flamingo, which is
part of the actual racetrack. So really cool partnership. It's
gonna make race week pretty cool. So if you want
to watch the race without buying a ticket, I mean
seven to eleven, right there at that intersection might be
(07:55):
the place to be. Believe it or not, it's sunny.
