Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
We all know we get stuck with those thankless tasks
and chores at home, and we want to hear which
of those thankless tasks and chores.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
You wish you got a little appreciation for.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
It's seven oh two seven nine six one six five.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
It's Joanna and Sean.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
And according to a new survey, it appears that there
is always one person in the household who gets stuck
with seventy seven percent of the dirty work at home.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
That's a lot of dirty work, it really is.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Those things include what cleaning the toilet, taking out the trash,
washing clothes, those kinds of repetitive, monotonous household type things.
Is there one that stands out for you, oh man?
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Honestly, probably, just like I'm always the one who gets
the kids ready, so like the bottles are in the bag,
the diapers.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Are in the bag, the wipes are in the bag.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Like I make sure everything is always ready anytime we
leave the house, and that has just become my task.
I get no thanks for it. But that is a
thankless task for short has to be done, but I
get no thanks for it.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
I think one that both my wife and I would
equally complain about is picking up dog poop, having to
clear out in the backyard periodically on a daily Even
my wife will even go out there and spray it
down with like the disinfection stuff too stink. Neither of
I gotta thank her for doing that, But it's like
both of us pick up poop constantly and just it's
one of those things you're like dreading.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
But it's just got to get done.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, it has to get done.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
And I love that our phone lines are already ringing
this morning with people who want to chime and.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
So good morning. Who's on the line right now?
Speaker 5 (01:39):
This is Erica. How you doing?
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Hey, Erica, we're doing good.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Hopefully you're doing good too, and we want to hear
from you this morning. What thankless tasks do you do
in your household?
Speaker 5 (01:51):
Oh my goodness, there's so many. Where do I begin?
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Okay, one is.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Cleaning the shilter, if anybody doesn't know this. In the dishwasher,
there's an actual filter that you have to take out
and clean. There's a filter in the washing machine as well.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Yeah, Eric, there's filters.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Hold back up, back up, Oh my god, this is
going I have to ask my wife if she's been
doing this and not telling me because I wasn't where
these things insisted.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
That's a problem, Yes, right, A good reminder for a
lot of making difference, Yes, it does. Now is that
just something you always just kind of knew to look
out for? And so it's like, you know what, You're
like proud of yourself. You're like, you know what, I
do this, but no one ever acknowledges me exactly.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
I am very proud of myself because I don't even
know how I fell upon it. And then I googled
it to make sure what I was pulling apart was
supposed to be pulled aport and uh and sure enough,
I mean, there's definitely goken. It's especially the dishwasher one.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Oh god.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
I mean you turn that thing. It's like a little
funnel and it's all in there. It definitely is. It's
it's making a difference. I think I like to believe
it's making a difference on my efforts cap for something.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
It is definitely, I'll bet.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Look, I'm just don I'm telling you right now, Erica,
I am terrified of what I'm going to find today
when I go home and I try to open up
my dishwasher filter or you're going to be.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
Very grateful that your wife has been taken care of it.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Yes, and then you need to thank Yes, she will
be thankful immediately.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
And we just had wife Appreciation Day a few days ago.
Right there you go.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Well, then did you remember that, Sean.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
No, you're getting me in more and more trouble over here.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
We're hanging up this phone call.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Thanks and if no one's.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Told you thanks today, thank you, Erica.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
Well, thank you, and I'll continue to do my little
jobs and feel appreciated.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Perfect, Thank you, Erica.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Hey, just a reminder, we do that name drop twice
a day, seven forty for Universal Horror Unleashed tickets.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Stick around and win something. This is Sunny Mornings with
Joanna and Sean Sunny one oh six point five.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
We're gonna spend this Monday morning thanking you for all
the thankless tasks that you have to do around the house.
We were just discussing this new survey about how there's
one person who gets stuck with the dirty work in
seventy seven percent of homes, meaning doing all those those
thankless tasks that just have to get done around the house.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yeah, that's a pretty high number.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
And that person who's doing those thankless tasks says that
they do about six thankless tasks a.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Day a day.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yeah, that's pretty dar and high.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
So I know that you're not a fan, well not
a fan of but it's just one of those things
you have to get done, where you know, getting the
kids ready, making sure the diaper bag is ready to.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Go in all that, right, I feel like, you know,
especially with little ones, when you have to have supplies
with you. You have to the snacks, the pacifiers, the things
that's gonna make them happy when you go out to eat,
Like someone has to get all of that stuff ready
to make sure you have the diapers and the wipes
and then change of clothes. And I feel like and
not this is not a knock to my husband. I
don't feel like he's ever prepared a bag. Like, yes,
(05:01):
he gets the kids in the car, does the car seats,
which that's you know, sometimes difficult to do too with
two kids now, So he does that. I'm sure he
would describe that as a thankless task. But I'm always
making sure stuff is ready and we are prepared with you.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Thanks.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Well, there's also sometimes like a natural division of labor
with things where yes, you know, so one person just
takes care of one thing so the other one can do.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
The other thing.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah, I feel like I have noticed that more than
ever with two kids.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
I'm sure you feel the same.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
But when you I think you just have more than
one child in the household, like everything just now gets divided.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
I would like thank you from my kids every once
in a while for cleaning up a living room after
they've trashed.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
It, right, okay, cleaned, and then as soon.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
As it's clean, the thing is trashed again. Yeah. Let's
go to the phones here. Hey, good morning.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Who's this Hey, Tanya, thanks so much for giving us
a call this morning.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
We're excited to talk with you.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
We're doing a little back and forth here on thankless
tasks in the house. What are those ones that you do?
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Sure?
Speaker 5 (06:02):
I wish I've got a pat on the beat every
time I paid a bill.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
In the house.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
It's so true, because I mean that is kind of
one of my many.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Jobs in my household is to pay the bills.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Right, So I wish I could put a pat on
the back every time I paid a bill.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
It would be nice.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
But no, oh, no important, I just dread going to
the mailbox.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
These days, because there's always a bill waiting.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
For you in there, and then you and then you
get the push notification on your phone from an app
if that's the one, or you get the email too.
It's like the the notifications never stop when it comes
to the bills.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Never ever. It's like ongoing every day.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yeah, and it's like you know your partner at least.
I'm totally speaking firsthand here, but like I feel like
my husband's always like, did we.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Pay that bill? I'm like, yes, babe, when have we
not paid a bill? And it's because I've always done it? Like,
where is my thanks here?
Speaker 4 (07:00):
I love this one. This is such a good answer, Tanya.
What's the most obnoxious bill you have to pay? The
one that's like just the one that you can't stand?
Speaker 5 (07:07):
Oh? Well with the summer, thank god it's fall now.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
My power bill was ridiculous. Yep.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
So I'm so glad that the summer is over and
fall is here.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Absolutely astronomical difference in those summer power bills, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
We appreciate you. Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
A little pat on the back from both Joanna and
myself here this morning.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Thank you, yay, thank you.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Hey, don't forget.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
We kicked off talk back for tickets today for Jonas
Brothers tickets. They're bringing their greetings from your hometown tour
here to MGM Garden Arena and we're going to get
you in there at nine forty hanging around for that.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Saturday mono six point five.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
We love celebrating little victories right here on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
You want to six point five. Good morning, It's Johanna
and Sean.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
So what we do during this segment is we take
your calls celebrating the little victories in your life because
those deserve celebration.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Two seven oh two seven nine six one six five.
If you have something to share.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
This morning, and look, it doesn't have to be anything
uh you know major. We're not talking about Nobel prizes
all the look if you've got one, by all means.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
We want to know you.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
We need those kinds of friends in our lives. But
I can be literally anything big or small makes no
difference whatsoever. I think we already have Rachel on the
line here. Rachel, good morning. What's your what's your little victory?
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Okay, so my son he just learned how to ride
a bike without training wheel and it's just so exciting.
You know, it's like the fall and we get to
outside more because the weather isn't so he there. Yeah,
and so it's just been I'm so excited to go
to the park with him and we don't have to
just drag him along in his stroller or like his
(08:51):
little wagon anymore. He can like go off on his
own in front of us a little bit. It's just
so cute.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
I'm so excited. Yeah, love that.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
What's his name, Let's shout him out, Jason, Jason.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
All right, well, shout out to Ja's. Great job Jason,
and great job mom too. By the way, you are
absolutely welcome.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
I love that one.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
But I'm gonna be honest with you, Shot, I don't
know if my you know, well, I know my hormones
are still all over the place. But like that actually
makes me kind of sad. When Rachel was saying, like
we don't need to drag along in the stroller or
the wagon, like, well, that kind of makes me.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Sad a little bit. Yeah, it's a little thing. Sometimes
you just want to like you want to hold on
to Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
You never know when it's gonna be the last time
he's gonna your kid's gonna be in a stroller or
a wagon or whatever. And then it's like, yes, you're
excited about the bike stage, but man, the stroller.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Stage is cute too, you know.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
I uh, I guess my daughter has like a similar
kind of a little victory. That's got me like slightly
heartbroken as well. I know, you know, we do story
time at night, you know, and I would always read
to her, but now it's you know, she wants to
read to me, which is great, of course, I'm so
I'm so proud of her that she wants to read
a book to Papa.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
And she's and she has advanced so much, like right,
like you guys taught her to read, and now she's
showing it all.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Yeah, like she's thriving.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
But I also miss doing the voices, you know, having
the fun with it. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
I mean I was like all on all the mom
blogs over maternity time, and I know there was one
it said something along the lines like you never know
when it's going to be the last first, right, like yeah,
and that's like tough, like because I literally have a
video of like the last time Rock took a nap
on me when he was like one, like and sometimes
that comes up, or I see it in my phone
(10:29):
and I'm like, I'm so glad I took that video.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
But it's true. You just never know.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
When it's gonna be the last moment of something that
was just so special.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
For you in your life.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Right the last time you you know, you picked your
kid up out of the car they were asleep and
carried them into the house, all those little things, the
last time you put them on your shoulders, that kind
of a thing.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah, don't make me cry this morning.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
And listen, we are excited for Rachel and Jason in
their little victory, but yeah, you know we're emotional too
this morning.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
Congrats again about Rachel and Jason. This is Sunny Mornings,
which and sew.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
I'm Sunny one six point five.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Sunny one of six point five. Let's get into our
sunny story of the day here. It's where we bring
you a little dose of positivity to brighten your morning.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Joanna, what you got this time?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Well, this is such a cool story, especially for dog
lovers out there.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Now there is one man.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Out of Canada who's truly learning that a dog is
a man's best friend. Now, this gentleman, his name is
Craig Campbell. He went on a walk with his dog,
a ten year old Doberman named Knight. Now it was
a trail that he had taken with his dog several times,
but you know, sometimes trails can be difficult and you
(11:39):
never know what's gonna pop up.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Well, during this one particular walk, a good.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Old grizzly bear, oh No.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Crosses path with Craig and Knight with her two cubs.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
And if you know anything.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
About bears, you know that mama bear has her cubs
with her.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Nothing is getting in her way.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
Uh A mama bear, I think of any kind with
her cubs, grizzly or not. Probably one of the most
dangerous predicaments. I think that a living human being with
a heartbeat confined themselves in I'm noping right out of it.
Or I don't know what the deal is. I feel
like I don't know the safety precaution the different bears.
But some you're supposed to play dead. With others you're
supposed to make a lot of noise. I would just
I don't know what I would do exactly.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
There is those rules, but when you are actually in
the situation, I feel like you forget everything.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Yeah, and the rules don't apply with polar bears. I've
just heard your dead no matter what, that doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Yes, so you know it can be, you know, a
very scary situation to be in.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
And you know, because of.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Where he lives, he actually did have bare spray on him.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
I didn't even know that was a thing, but he
had bare spray on him.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
But because things happened so quickly and he really had
seconds to react, because Mama Bear started charging towards him,
he immediately.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Thought, here it is, I'm done. I'm gonna die.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
But of course Knight came to the rescue and in
a flash, Knight put himself between the.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Man and the bear.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
I mean that bear was towering over seven feet tall,
and Night saved his life.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Dude, shout out to dogs.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
Just in general, dogs are so quickly willing to lay
down their lives for their owner. I know in most cases,
I don't know. I don't know about my dog.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
And Jinks. Jinks might know about too.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
She might be like, dude, you're on your own, bite
God Daddy.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
But yeah, this is such an incredible story that even
Purina recognized how amazing Night was, and Night has become
Purina's Animal Hall of Famer for twenty twenty five for
being recognized for Knight's incredible efforts and saving Craig's life.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
It's a bag of bag of all. Kurina has their
only animal Hall of Fame, Purina does. That's sick.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
I need to look that. I want to find out
who else is in this Hall of Fame.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Well, i'll tell you what.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Hall of Fame honorees get a year free of pet food.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
Pet food.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
That's pretty good prize right there.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
Pet Food's expensive a.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Recognition at a ceremony as wow, so Night definitely deserves
all the credit. But wow, in a situation like that happens,
you never know, you know how your dog may potentially
act Like you said, Jakes would probably run away.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
So it all up my dogs.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
But the fact that that Doberman wasn't scared of nothing,
even though Grizzly Bear is a pretty.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Cool yeah, gorgeous dog too as always, Well, we'll throw
the pictures and story up for you at the website
sunny wint A six five dot com just cook on
sunny mornings six months.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
You know, kids can say the darnedest things, but they
can also do the darnedest things. That can completely embarrass
you sometimes when you least expect it.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
This sounds like it's heading to a personal story here.
What happened?
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Good Morning Gets Show Ada Sean.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
So, I was at a doctor's appointment recently, and I
wanted to tell you that I was totally caught off guard,
because you know who wants to me at doctor's appointments anyway, Right,
And I was up at the counter and I had
my purse there and my person always kind of a
hot mess. The lady behind the counter said, hey, I
need your ID and insurance card, which they always ask for.
But of course I wasn't prepared. So I'm fumbling through
(15:08):
my purse and as I reach into my purse to
try to find the ID cards, I grab a snake,
a toy snake.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
But when you are not expecting.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
It, Yeah, I brought it in the studio this morning.
It can catch you off guard, and clearly like it
made me jump, and it made me like jump to
the point where like I made her jump, you know,
like when you startle somebody else by your reaction and
she's like you okay, And then I started laughing and
I pulled out the snake and I go my son
must have put this in my bag.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
We started laughing, and I just thought it.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Was so cute, because you know, kids these days, obviously
they find things that they're super excited about and they
leave them sometimes in the most random places that will
catch you off guard or maybe sometimes embarrass you.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
How's that ever happened with you?
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Yes, well, I know we've when we have left out
suitcases when we're for vacations.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Yeah, we've had both of our kids, both Hallow and Axel,
have like we have just found stuff that we don't
remember packing, but it's buried there, like a toy or
a stuffed animal, or like you're going through we're pulling,
like we're rolling a bag through the airport, and we
hear some music coming out of like one of the bags, right,
and you're like, what's in there? And it's and it's
some like little electronic drum kit that like one of
(16:22):
them has thrown in there, and you're like, of course that's.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
In there, right.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
At least it wasn't like a poopy.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Diaper, no, no, no goodness.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Sometimes I feel like about that stage right over Brook
is pretty much potty train. But every now and then,
you know, depending where we're at, Like we still put
a diaper on him and he takes it off and
he just leaves it in like the most random spots,
Oh my gosh. And I'm like, oh, here's the poopy
diaper behind the you.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Know, couch cushion, lovely, like always a good time.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
I think, well, every every parent has experienced the just
the rand the found diaper, right, just the the unattended diaper.
It's never like a fun thing and you're like, oh,
good lord, how did this happen?
Speaker 1 (16:58):
How did this get here? And and where is the
stuff that should be in the diaper?
Speaker 5 (17:02):
Right?
Speaker 4 (17:02):
Yeah, Frankly, I think the found diaper is like even
scarier than the snake in.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
The bag, frank and honest, maybe it can always be worse.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Right, I'll take the little.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Plastic, you know, lifelike looking snake over a poopy diaper
any day.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (17:16):

Speaker 4 (18:51):
I'm starting to think those those parents when I was
trick or treating as a kid, that taped together stacks
of pennies to give out, had the right idea might
be less expensive.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Honestly, it's wild.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
So Instacart just released their latest data on America's most
ordered Halloween candies. Okay, look, it's nothing. None of this
is surprising. Like, it's all the usual specs. Yes, Reese
is always number one, exactly, you nailed it. And then
of course your your eminem is your kid cats and
sour Patch kids, Milky Ways, all the usual suspects. Yeah,
(19:21):
but is there like a Halloween candy Joanna that you
look forward to every year that most people are like
or like just not on their list.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
I don't know if people think this is an or not,
but I don't think it's that popular anymore. I love,
or used to love getting the little boxes of dots, Dots, Dots,
a little yellow box.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
I know exactly. They're multiicolored, and they feel like they're
gonna pull.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Your teeth out, absolutely, like they are not as fun
to eat anymore as an adult, but man, I still
love them to this day. And I feel like dots
for a lot of people is just like one of
those like throwaway candies. But for me, like I get
super stoked when I see dots anywhere.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
I feel the same way potentially about well not potentially
but about milk duds. I feel like they do that
they have that same consistency. Another little little yellow box
right right, But it's those little chocolate e goober like
gooey things. Yeah, and like dots, you at this age,
I worry that it's going to pull one of my
molars out as I'm chewing on those things.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
I know.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Every time you think about, you know, grabbing a certain
piece of candy, You're like, is this going to send
me to the dentist?
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Like we are at that point in our lives.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
Now, And I think the the other one that gets
discarded by most kids are the neck coat wafers.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Oh I'm with I'm with the.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Kids, like that's a guilty pleasure of It's funny that
you say that, because for me, I just think of
my mom with those candies. That is like her old
fashioned favorite candy. For me, I always thought it was
like eating chalk, like yuck. Hated it as a kid,
hated as an adult.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
I am with discarding. Can you even buy nechos anymore?
Speaker 4 (20:58):
I think they come into like the value pass the
inexpensive ones.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
You know you gonna say, I barely even see those anymore.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
They're not exactly luxury. So give me, give me all those,
and I'll take the candy corn too. Oh gross.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
Sarney one six points.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
It is Joanna and Sean love that we got this
back back in Actually, now that Joanna is back.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
In the saddle, so to speak, it's so.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
Much fun to celebrate positivity in people's life all the time.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
I know we do a lot of that.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
And feel good Fridays, but we carry that over to
Mondays as well, and we want you to celebrate the
little victory is going on in your life. Seven oh
two seven nine six one six five there's something you
want to.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
Celebrate, because you know what, we like to celebrate the
small stuff too.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
Yeah, Angela was already for this this morning too, So
let's Angela, what's going on? Tell us about your your
little victory.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Oh my goodness, it's a.
Speaker 5 (21:49):
Dirty victory if I can say that. I think make
my keys away accidentally.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
In the garbage. Ah, and I had to, you know,
go dumpster dive.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
We found him in my key fob to my.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Car and stuff.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
So that's my victory that now I can like drive
today and lock my house up.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Wow, I mean what made you decide to like go
to the garbage first?
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Like, did you?
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Was that the last place you remembered? Like what happened
with all of that? I mean, what a what a mess?
Speaker 3 (22:20):
Right?
Speaker 5 (22:22):
It was the last place I definitely checked after going
in my car and looking at all the potential places
at the house that it could be sure, and I.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Was like, what is going on?
Speaker 5 (22:32):
And so oh, and then I went and that's what
they were.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
In that garbage.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Let me let me tell you, these days, Joanna, whenever
something's missing from the house, that's the first place we checked.
Because Axel loves to throw stuff in the garbage right now.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
So sure, yeah, that's tough.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
The garbage is for us the first place to go.
But I love that for you, Angela, congratulations.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
That's such a It's such a good feeling when you
find something that, especially something like keys, right that's like
so important to your everyday flow that it's like when
you find them, it's such a victory to celebrate.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
I have been waiting. Can I tell you this is
this is a true story.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
We have been looking for one of our two keyfobsk
for our suv okay for over a year now, and
you found it.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
No, we haven't.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
That's we're wondering if perhaps axel through the first one
into into the garbage. We didn't, and we didn't find
out and now it's just gone because I've been searching.
I've been looking hoping it'll turn up in the laundry
or like in a coat pocket right from you know,
it's just finally yeah, or like under receipt. I've just
been praying that eventually, this kid, these things are expensive.
I refuse to go spend another two two hundred and
(23:41):
fifty bucks on a key fob.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
No, very expensive.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
And it's like one of those things like the feeling
that you get in your body when you find something
that you thought you lost is like an underrated feeling
of joy, right like it is such a feeling.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
Of relief and emotions.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
And yes, sometimes even though the journey can be long,
when it's surprises you out of nowhere, you still want to.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Celebrate it right absolutely you for you, as is, by
the way, an hour of commercial free music, which we're
gonna do in then just a little bit eight thirty
five every morning on Sunday we do an hour of

them all up, pick I did.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
I picked the chat GPT to scramble by your team Nick.
Speaker 4 (25:23):

is the most underrated Jonas brother Bye. He never gets
the love and I'm team Joe.

Speaker 3 (25:34):

Speaker 3 (25:43):

Speaker 4 (25:44):
That we got your the keyword, let's get into our
sunny story of the day here.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah, and for all animal.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Lovers out there, especially dog lovers, we know you're gonna
enjoy this one. So there is a man in Canada
by the name of Craig Campbell and he was taking
a walk down his usual trail that he does with
his Doberman named Knight. Now it's just, you know, business
as usual, until he spots a grizzly bear and her
(26:11):
two cubs coming down the trail.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
If that's me, that's the day I retire from hiking
never again. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
I can't imagine what that feeling is, right, we can
all you know. You know you could be an avid
trail walker. It doesn't matter if a grizzly bear is
coming in your way with two cubs.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Mama bear wants you out of her way.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Ye right, First I'm changing my pants and then I'm
retiring from.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Hiking, if you're lucky enough to do that.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
So Craig thought he was a goner because the bear
started coming towards him, But he did have Night by
his side, and in a blink of an eye, Night
sprung into action, literally putting Night in front of Craig,
saving his life from a potential bear attack.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Let me tell you, Doberman's though beautiful dogs, also, they
can't look menacing.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Those dogs can't.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
If they're at you, they can be frightening, I would imagine,
even for a grizzly bear.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
I mean, but you know what, shut out Night because
that's a ten year old dog right there. At seventy
years and people years, so it doesn't matter the age.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Knight was willing to protect his owner.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
And this story became so viral that Knight has even
been awarded Parina's Animal Hall of Fame honor for twenty
twenty five, which is a huge recognition.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Of course, Night will get hooked up with.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
The medallion recognition at a ceremony and one year's worth
of free pet food too.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
I'm sure that Knight has never paid for that dog
food to begin with, but we'll appreciate it nonetheless.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Yeah. Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
If you like me or wondering who else is in
the Purina Animal Hall of Fame, we'll put the whole
story for you over at sudywin at sixty five dot com.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
