Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, there, Sean waking up with you. Have you had
your coffee yet? Might want to grab a cup after
you hear this. If you love coffee, good news. Not
only is this caffeinated beverage we all love so much
associated with a longer life, We've all heard those studies,
but apparently it has been linked to better aging in women,
and only women. Men are not even mentioned in this study.

(00:21):
But this new study was also pretty specific about how
and when to drink it. They say we shouldn't exceed
two and a half to three cups a day. I'm
already well over, skip full fat milk, sugar, and have
it within the first two and a half hours of
waking up. If you follow those rules, they say, it'll
be in a better mood, you'll reduce the chances of dementia,

(00:43):
and you'll increase longevity. But again in women, this study
says nothing about men. I am just going to assume
that this applies to everyone and continue to drink coffee. Well,
maybe not the eight cups I'm doing a day. I'm
going to have to limited just a little bit here,
But nonetheless, good news about coffee. Cheryl Crow and Christina

(01:05):
Perry coming up next. On Sunday one, it was six
point five Las Vegas's best variety of the eighties nineties,
and today seventy one six five. Fellow renters rejoice because
Las Vegas rent is finally cooling down after years of
climbing prices. Rents are actually down thirteen point six percent

(01:29):
from their peak, with a median asking price now at
one thousand, four hundred and forty three dollars per month.
It is the biggest drop in the country, tied with
Atlanta and even beating Austin. The peak was back in
June of twenty twenty two, and it was at one thousand,

(01:51):
six hundred and seventy one dollars at that point, so
it's dropped over two hundred dollars a month on average
since June of twenty five. Now it is a significant
correction after really an overheated rental market during the pandemic.
I don't understand what those mean those where it's right there,

(02:11):
but I'm assuming it just means that the pandemic raised
some prices. They're finally coming down, and this is all
according to realtor dot Com.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Hopefully those continue to go down.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
We got the weekend on the way with blinding lights,
a lot of miles and the B fifty two's next
on Sunnay one of six point five. Good morning and
happy feel good Friday. This is Sunny Mornings with Joanna
and Sean on Sonny one oh six point five. I
am going to miss AOL America Online.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
It's Sunnybino six point five.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I'm sean America Online is officially shutting down after thirty
four years on September thirtyth just a few days away.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I can't believe it.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I feel like every one of us in our house
somewhere has probably a thirty year old AOL free trial
CD ram stuffed in a drawer.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Remember this sounds I used to.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Dial up every day when I go home from school,
hang out in chat rooms here that you've got mail
sounder every time, Good times, the first ever internet service provider.
I can't believe they're going away after thirty four years.
You used to have to buy a modem separately from
your computer. That's enough of that sound. Let's get rid
of that. That's enough. The beefs, the squeals, the hissying.

(03:29):
Oh man, such memories connected to it. But you got
a few days left if you still have an AOL address.
No judgment, but I'm just letting you know you got
what four or five days to find another internet service
provider because AOL will be no more. We've got Sugar
Ray on the way Bruno, Mars and Chicago on Sunday
one to six point five, Las Vegas's best variety of
the eighties, nineties and today.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Six months.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
It's a big weekend this weekend, Sunny one to six
point five.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
It's Sean.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
I got your Sonny story of the day here, and
how could it be about anything other than our Las
Vegas Aviators Right now they are headed to the Triple
A National Championship. Now, earlier this week they swept the
Tacoma Rainiers back to back games, and now they're in
it for all the marbles and it's going to be
right here in our own backyard, Las Vegas Ballpark this Saturday.

(04:22):
Now they are playing a team from Florida, the Jacksonville
Jumbo Shrimp. Might I say how much I adore minor
league baseball names.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I love the names of the team so.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Much in minor league baseball, way better than the majors
in my opinion. But our Aviators versus the Jumbo Shrimp Saturday,
Las Vegas Ballpark. First pitch is seven to oh five.
We better be out there and we better be making
some noise. Could be a national championship for our aviators.
It's study but a six point five. We got George

(04:54):
Michael on the Way Green Day and Phil Collins and
more of the best variety of the eighties, ninety and
today on Sunny with a six point five.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
This is Sunday Mornings with Joanna and Sean on Sunny one.
I was six point five. What's going on?

Speaker 1 (05:07):

some good news. I'm feeling pretty good because I will
have a co host once again on Monday. Joanna will
finally be back in studio with me after four months
of maternity leave. I will not be talking to myself anymore,
so that'll be fun.

not gonna have to deal with all the crazy people
during the season and I can just sit back and
enjoy my holiday.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I can't. It is September twenty sixth, and you're done
with I'm guessing you down at you don't actually enjoy
Christmas shopping during the holidays.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Huh, not at all.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I'm not a Black Friday shopper.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
I don't wait to those deals. I would much rather
just you know, I'm just excited.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
I got everything done so far out here.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Look, as long as we're talking about it, I'm like,
you didn't have to get us anything, all right, I
just I'm so happy.
