Speaker 1 (00:00):
Close to five thousand new words going to be entered
into Marion Webster's Dictionary.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Good morning, It's Joanna and Sean. And this list is
very interesting.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
I don't have I don't know there were five thousand
words that we didn't know already. I mean five thousands
a lot.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I feel like that's excessive, right, I mean also, some
of these are acronyms.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Yes they are, yes, so I did not know that
that was the thing.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
But some of them very interesting and probably words that
maybe you.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Use or your kids used. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Well, first of all, I love the posts they used
to announce this.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
They said, we have some new words for you.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, the new twelfth edition made of paper.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
I like them. Made of papers.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Remind you dictionaries were in fact manufactured and still are.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
They're not just on your phone all the time. And
this is crazy.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
This has been a full twenty two years after its
last update.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I get the Collegiate Edition.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yes right, Still, that just seems like a really long time, makes.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Sense, right, I just I can't believe they've waited this
long to do it. But I guess five thousand new
words pop up in twenty two years. I guess let's
let's go through some of these. What's your favorite one? So,
like just to start with dad, Bob, Dad Bob. It's
about time we got some recognition.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
In this place.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Dads are finally getting the respect. Data via the dictionary
looks like.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Thank you Mirriam Webster is for validating.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
But here's the thing though, Like we can see this article,
I want to see.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
What the definition of that is? That's true? How are
they describing it cold? Can we google it?

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Can we google Mirriam Webster's definition of dad exactly?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Like I want to see how they are going to
be describing this to the entire world.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
All right, go to the next word.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Well, all right, let's see canceled culture is being added.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
That's not surprising. Actually cold brew okay, cold? Oh cold?
You know here, here's the thing about cold brew, right,
Why does that need its own entry?

Speaker 4 (01:48):
It's like the words buzz cut right.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Like I was thinking about this earlier, like cold and
brew both kind of exist on their own. Do we
need cold brew in the dictionary?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah, that one's a little odd, But this one you
used quite off to doom Doom's doom.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Scroll Doom scroll. I heard you get that yesterday. That's
my comfort what do we call it? A your comfort
joint comfort.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Routine is doom scrolling and night Oh all right, So
let me backtrack real quick to dad bod.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I googled it.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Here's what Miriam Webster says, A physique regarded as typical
of an average father, especially one that is slightly overweight
and not extremely muscular.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Trying to say that in the nicest way possible, slightly overweight.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
That is like, I don't know, I feel not offended
by that. I feel like that's accurate.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I mean, I do feel like we are living in
a world where things need to be equal.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
So if there's dadbod, is there mom bod in there too?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I don't know, because I'm rocking a mom bod right
now after maternity.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
I have not googled that one just yet. I don't
know that I'm going to risk that.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
You wants it on the work computer, right right.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
You're right, mom, But that can come up with a
lot of interesting results some of these other ones. Dumb
phone has been added after twenty two years. I think
we've been saying that one for a while, Like your
old Nokia flip phones and things, right, Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
W f H, which is the acronym for work from home. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Interesting, And this one I don't use it, but I
think a lot of kids these days do RIZ are
izz Do you know what RIZ is short for?

Speaker 4 (03:17):
By the way, isn't it?

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Is it short for?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I just thought it means it means like cool factor?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yes, but it is actually derived from the word charisma. Ah,
it makes sense when you think about it that way, right, No,
I like the word charisma. Let's use that more than REZ,
please one.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Let's exploit fun.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
You know.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
One of the things I enjoy the most about working
with you on this morning show, Johanna, is when we
get ourselves out of this studio and we get to
like meet the people that listen, right and take them
out on and go to events and stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Yeah, that's always so special to be able to just
meet people who listen to us every day and do
something really fun and exclusive.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Now we've got something coming up.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I don't really have like a really good spooky voice,
but it's going to be a killer night of comedy
and mystery.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yes, our next night out with Joanna and Sean it is.
It's like a dinner show like a like a murder mystery.
It's called Marriage Can Be Murder.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
That's right, and exactly what you said. It's a murder
mystery dinner show. It happens at the Rio Hotel and
it's just in time for Halloween because our exclusive night
out will be on October twenty fifth, and you can't
only win your way in to event.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Our event here on Sunny when I was six point five.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
So I've actually well, first of all, I am excited
because I've never been to the Rio. I have like
a checklist of all the properties here in town. I
know it feels like a touristy thing to do, but
I'm still like fairly new to the city after a
couple of years, so okay, it's one of the ones
I haven't set foot in just yet. But I also
I love a good dinner show, and I have not
been to one in years.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
I love them too, So you've you've been to this.
I have.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I haven't been in a few years, but I remember
being so funny and so much fun. And you know,
people do these like murder mystery things at their house.
This is like a full on production show that's happening
at the Rio so it's gonna be very very cool.
And you know what, you never know, Maybe you be
assigned as the killer, maybe you'll be.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Me, Maybe it'll be one of our you know, one
of our winners.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Who knows.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
But nonetheless, it's a perfect night out. You and a
guest get to experience the.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Full four course dinner plus an incredible.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Show with us.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Hold on, let's back track a second. We mentioned you.
I forgot about the dinner portion of it.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yeah, there's food involved too.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Where are we eating?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
It's right there, all in the showroom.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Oh a surfing right in there. I love you. So
it's even like convenient for you too. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
And the Rio, I I've not been because you know,
I've been obviously taking care of a new baby. But
I hear there's been some really good new upgrades in
that property.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
So it's gonna be fun for all of us to
go out and kind.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Of experience the Rio. Experience.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Marriage can be murder and I cannot wait.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
So if you want to enter, I think all you
have to do is go to the website of course
as Allways Sunny one of six y five dot com,
and then click on that contest page. You get to
find that night out with Joanna and Sean. You could
enter right there, just in time for a spoo This
is a perfect spooky season night out with us. Now,
of course, don't forget that we are still dropping names
every morning to get your family here in town to

(06:18):
another spooky location.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
All the spooky stuff right.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Universal Horror Unleashed just a five star Hollywood production at
Area fifteen, Haunted mazes, terrifying actors running around going to
scare the daylights.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Out of it.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Why can I wait to experience that too?

Speaker 1 (06:33):
So sign up at Sunny one was six five dot
com and be listening at seven forty and eight forty.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Wake up with Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean. On
Sunny one I was six point five.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Which city in the US would be your retirement home?
Good morning, It's Joanna and Sean and I don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
About you, Sean. I have not given this any.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Thought, No, because I don't have enough money to move
anywhere that would merit retiring to like it here pretty well.
But this was interesting because we saw this study from
wallet hub, which does a lot of these kinds of rankings,
but they ranked the best retirement cities in the country
based on a number of things like affordability, activities, quality

(07:16):
of life, healthcare, all all other kinds of methodology. But
Las Vegas Cities, a couple of us did pretty well.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Actually, yeah, shout out to Henderson.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Looks like landed fifty ninth on that list, and Loss
of Vegas number eleven, right outside the top ten.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Right, that's pretty crazy.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Yeah, So I was looking at the breakdown on some
of these categories, right, sure, so Las Vegas was number
eleventh because under affordability we were thirteenth. I think people
don't realize that this city is actually pretty affordable off the.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Strip compared to other places.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Yep, activities sixth of all the ones that were ranked
good weather not surprising, activities, quality of life, and healthcare.
Will I don't think anyone's surprised at affordability and activities
carrying lot of the weight and getting us that high
up on the list.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Absolutely, So, I know we fell outside the top ten there,
but I'm curious to know at least the top five.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Okay, Well, what do you think outside of Nevada, Like,
what do you think is arguably one of the most
popular states in the country to.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Right, I think your home state Florida.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Yes, for sure, so Florida's number one state. But that
would probably lead you to believe that one of the
cities there would be the number one city the entire
two What do you think that is?

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I mean, I have not seen the list, so I'm
just guessing your home city book of ratone.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
No, the great guess, actually, and I'm surprised maybe it
is on the list, but in Orlando Land.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Really okay, because I was thinking I was going to
say Orlando just because it's the first city I think
about what I think of Florida. Then I thought, every
person that I know that retires of Florida always.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Tells me book a ratone.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Believe me that we do have a lot of retirees
down there for sure. And just okay, oddly enough, I
just did one of those like control F word searches,
and of the one hundred and eighty two cities on
this list, Boca ratone is not on there, but Orlando
certainly is up there at number one.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Also in the top five, we'll just kind of roll
through them.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
You're Scottsdale, Arizona, Minneapolis at the number three spots surprises me,
Miami number four, okay, Tampa number five.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
There's some more Florida city.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
I was gonna say that the Minneapolis that surprises me
so much.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Snow, when you retire, you really want.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
To deal with that. Yeah, I'm not.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
I was actually pretty surprised by that as well.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Surprise.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
No.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
I mean, listen, I know California is expensive, but if
you are a rich retire I would assume someplace like
San Diego would be a dream to retire.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Yeah and right, yeah, you're not kidding. I don't know
wh where is san Diego? Are they even on this list?
Let's just do a real quick search and San Diego
is number twenty nine.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Okay, so in there.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
But yeah, the affordability factor, I think is just the
big thing these days. It's like, yeah, we joke like
we can't even think about retiring it's so expensive.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
But it's true for everybody. I'm happy to stay here
though on the list you laugh about it. It's like
a laughter.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Speaking of Vegas and things to do here. Mariah Carrie
bring in her Christmas show here, and you're gonna have
a chance to win four times every day and the
first one coming up at nine forty this morning.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
That's right, We're gonna give you a keyword for your
chance to win.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
So stick around Sunny. One oh six point five.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
It is Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean once again.
Day two of you back in the studio. Finding the
sunny story of the day is just like weight off
my shoulders. I gotta tell you, Listen.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
There's lots of positivity out there, but you gotta search
for it sometime. And that's exactly what Nevada Child Seekers
is doing. They are searching and looking to reunite families
and they've been doing so all September.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
So this is the last day of the month.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
But if you did not know, September, September search month
for Nevada Child Seekers. So what they do is they
partner up with various organizations. Most recently they partnered up
with Red Rock Search and Rescue, where they hit the
streets as a part of September Search. They hand out
flyers to people and business owners asking for information about

(11:06):
missing children from Nevada.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Holy cow, that is an incredible undertaking.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
I would imagine for me, that's the kind of job
where I would have a hard time kind of compartmentalizing, right, Like, yeah,
of course, heavy subject matter having the kind of like
not take that home with you every day or night
when you leave. And I think that to me just
deserves all the more respect because it's not an easy
thing to do, but the dedicate your life to trying
to reunite these missing kids that are maybe even adults

(11:37):
at this point where your family is I know, deserving
a recognition for sure.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
It's tough, and they're trying to help solve cases all
the way back to nineteen seventy through of course to
today twenty twenty five. Now, the searches may be long,
it may seem tedious at times, but search efforts like
this have proven results. So the more that you can
get information out there and even a flyer with somebody's

(12:01):
picture on it, right, because with today's technology, you can
see pictures of what you think somebody would look like,
right that you know was born yeah back in the eighties,
what they may look like now, like technology has advanced
so much to really aid in these rescue efforts.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
Yes, I believe they also post this information on their
website as well, and we'll link that for you, just
to make it easier if you already have Sunny one
to six point five saved, but absolutely yep.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
And I know that if you're always looking for a
volunteer opportunity, Nevada Child Seekers would love to have you
a part of these efforts as well. So all the
details are right now for you to learn more and
possibly volunteer at Sunny when I was sixty five dot com.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Just click on Sunny Mornings.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
And hey, while you're there, why not check out the
contest page at the moment, because we got some new
stuff up there that you can win. How about hallo
Vin tickets at Opportunity Village, one of our favorite partners.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
It's Halloveen is Back to the Magical Forest.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yeah, such a great family tradition for so many people
here in town. So you can win those tickets at
any one O six five dot com.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
What else? What else?

Speaker 3 (13:02):
We also just announced a brand new night out with
Joanna and Sean a little earlier this morning.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
You can enter to win that.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
And of course Christmas Cash is back, so make sure
you have bookmarked the website so you can enter those
keywords every hour.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yeah, one thousand dollars would sure help out a lot
of people, and we give you up to thirteen chances
to win that money.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Throughout the day, Wake up with Sunday Mornings with Joanna
and sewn on Sonny one oh six point five.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
It's been quite some time since we went on a
first date.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Well, let's talk about who's paying for.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
Those these days.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Good morning, it's Johanna, addas Sean. Now, I feel maybe
a little bit old fashionate and traditional here saying this,
but I always feel like the man should pay for
a first date, especially if they're the one asking.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
I look is, especially if they're the one asking. But
I do think that we've been progressing in the right
way in terms. I think women are stepping up to
the plate more often and feeling more compelled and empowered
to like ask a guy out, and I frankly like that.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
And in some situations women are feeling more pressure though.
And I want to tell you about this story that
I saw online. It looks like a Reddit user says
that she was left feeling humiliated after going on a
first date recently with a man that she did not
hit it off with. Now, she ended up paying for
both of them because when it came time to pay,

(14:22):
he suddenly got a phone call AH could not get
off of and so.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
Things got awkward.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
So the woman was like, I just this date needs
to be done, so I'm just going to pay for
this so this can be done because he's on the phone.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
Yeah, well, I think all right, two things about that. One, uh,
don't I don't think you're taking phone calls during a
first kate, first date. I'm putting my phone right on
do not disturb. You should be getting my full attention.
There's no phone call that's going to be pulling you
me away from you unless it's life or death.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Second of all, you've got to make sure that you're
around for the end of the meal too, because you
know that check is inevitably going to come. And you're
saying that you just happen to get a life for
death phone call right before the check came. No, no,
sir exactly.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
So this woman basically turned to Reddit and she's wondering
whether or not she should ask the man to pay
her back, or at least for his half of the check,
because she was had.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
To put the whole bill.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
And so she's like irked by this, And I can
understand like leaving a situation like that where you feel
like I should not have paid for that, Like I
should not have done that.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
And like feeling a little bit angry and resentful.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Maybe if you're doing it to stand on principle, that's
one thing, right if you're at a if it was
like a three hundred dollars, if you're at like a
steakhouse like a bvet's kind of a situation, right then, Yeah,
I ask that dude, you're gonna pay you.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Back for that? Right.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Outside of that, I just think you just got to
cut your losses at that point. Don't don't let that
person take up any more time in your brain, in
your psyche at all. Like, just cut your losses, ghosts them.
That's the sort of thing. You don't need to communicate
them with them any further, especially not to ask for
half of a meal bag. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
I always say that, like just in general, even not
even just like with a first date, but like with
friendships or things that like maybe you've picked up the
tab for somebody and that person turned out to be
like not a good human being and you end up
not being friends.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
With that person. I always say, like, I look back at.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
That time where I've paid for things and I'm like,
you know what it cost me this much money.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
To realize I didn't need that person in my life exactly.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
That's how I kind of, like, you know, kind of
you know, reset my mental there because it is annoying
when like you're like, I didn't really have that much
money to begin with, and I got stiff with this
bill and I and I the guy asked her, so
I get why she feels that way, but you know,
I just started thinking, Sean, you can admit this, hopefully.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Honestly. Have you ever made a woman pay for a
first day before?

Speaker 3 (16:36):
No, I think I have had a woman say like,
it's like, no pressure, let's split the bill. Okay, no,
just just so there's no expectations or whatever the end of.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
The night, right. But I have always offered to pay
the very least. Okay, I love that.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
I remember years ago I had a guy like, want
to split the bill, and I said I was fine
with it. I said that to his face, I was
not fine with it. I obviously did pay. And the
thing with that is like he still wanted to go
on more dates and go out, and I was like,
in my head, I could not get over the fact
that he made me split the first bill. So it
was like a hard note for me, and I think

(17:11):
I ended up telling him that too.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Yeah, that's so.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
I was like, listen, like, I didn't that rub me
the wrong way? That you wanted me to split split
the bill on the first date. I'm sorry, I'm old fashioned,
like you should have you should have covered it, Bud.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I am all for equality when it comes to you know,
paying the bill, but I do think as the guy,
you should be equipped or at least that the person
who asked for the date, you should be equipped to
pay for the bill when it does come time for that.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
I think that's what it is, is that if you
were the person who was asking, then you need to
need to be prepared to pay in full for whatever
you're asking that person too.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
I think it's just the right thing to do.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
Also, we will not be asking you to split the
bill on these tickets we've got coming up here at
seven forty. By the way, it is universal Horror unleashed.
We got the name drop back for you twice a day,
seven forty and eight forty.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
Yes, so good. Signed up now and be listening for
your name.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Sunnywino six five dot com Sony Warmer six point five.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
It's time for the Sunny wind of six point five name.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Drop your opportunity to win a four pack of tickets
to Universal Horror Unleash, which looks awesome.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
I love that this is kind of like the first
real taste of Hollywood that we're getting here in yeah,
over Carria fifteen. You know, it is Universal Studios that
is putting all this together. It is top tier horror
right here in our own backyard. So we're dropping names
twice in morning seven forty and eight forty. Make sure
we have yours over at the website so we can
have a chance to call it out.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
So who are we looking for right now?

Speaker 1 (18:40):
All right, well, this person has ten minutes to call
us back.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Shanichia Brooks. That's Shaniechia Brooks.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
You were on the clock seven oh two, seven nine, six,
one oh six five.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Good luck girl.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
Now, speaking of new things here in our own backyard,
I don't know if you've been following kind of the
development of this whole Athletics baseball stadium.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
It's being built over on the side of the old Tropicana.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Well, what have you seen any new updates going on?

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Well, yeah, so it's it's not I didn't realize they
were doing this but apparently they're not just going to
build the a excuse me, the Athletics new baseball stadium there,
which I've been kind of following, But there's going to
be an entirely new resort and casino built kind of
adjacent to slash surrounding the baseball like.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Like a walkway to the park. Probably.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Yeah, it looks like an entire entertainment center really, So
it's it's a it's a Bally's. It's going to be
Bally's Las Vegas, a brand new entertainment resort set to
pop up on the famous Las Vegas trip on the
old Tropicana site.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
So it's going to be massive, three thousand rooms, a
twenty five hundred seat venue for shows like we might
who knows about who we might see performing there?

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Right, It's so crazy because now that like that corner
of Las Vegas Bulevard and Tropicana like doesn't have the
tropic Canda there anymore.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
I just can't imagine another property with another venue plus
a stadium.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Like where did all that space come from?

Speaker 3 (20:07):
I think it's fascinating. Well, I mean it all came
with they detonated that thing. Yeah last October. So it's
like a thirty five acre campus that's going to have
the ballpark. Of course, this new resort Casino Hotel, which
is like it's gonna have two luxury towers five hundred
thousand square feet dedicated to retail, dining, and entertainment activities.

(20:29):
You know what's interesting is I was just watching the
movie Casino over the Yeah, okay, and I see these
names that don't exist anymore in town, like the Tangiers
and the star Dust sure right, and you think about, like,
this is the ever changing landscape and skyline of Las Vegas.
We just had the sphere open up. Like the minute
I set foot here in Las Vegas, the spear showed up,

(20:50):
which was pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Well, just the sphere and Allegiant Stadium, yeah, I mean,
but then also like the high Roller, and you think
about like the wind and the Encore. I mean, like
the landscape has changed so much and it's so cool.
I just cannot imagine what this new baseball stadium is
going to look like.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Yeah, it's it's I mean the renderings. We'll share the
renderings Mike on social media as well. It looks spectacular,
but as is always the case, you do hope that
they have some local discounts, maybe free park just something.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Please don't forget the low.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
Oh man, you're really going high on those hopes with
the free parking.

Speaker 4 (21:27):

Mariah Carey and I love Christmas time, and it's all happening.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
Here on sunny I know. Let's also get into our
sunny story of the day. By the way, now that
now that you're back and finding some feel good for us,
that's right now. It is the last day of September.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
That month flew by, didn't it, And if you did
not know, September's theme was September Search Month for Nevada
Child Seekers and Red Rock Search and Rescue. So what
they've been doing is they've been hitting the streets all
their volunteers handing out flyers to people and business owners
with information about missing children from Nevada, and they are

(23:25):
trying to solve cases all the way back to nineteen seventy.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I can't even begin to put into words like the
gratitude I have that there are people out there that
are willing to go back this far in time and
not give up on these folks, right, I mean, these
are kids that went missing that are at this point
likely grown adults. Absolutely, and to know that there's people
out there that care so much not to let their
memory or that hope, I should say, most importantly disappearance

(23:51):
are incredible.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Yeah, I mean they always say somebody knows something. Now,
these searches can be long and tedious, but they.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Have proven reszons.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
So it's incredible that volunteers have been all around town
all month long. A big thanks to Nevada Nevada Child
Seekers for never giving up on these missing children.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
And I know what technology we're able to see what
potentially speaking, you know what these kids that have gone
missing look like today. And I know they have all
the information up on their website, but we will of
course make it available to you as well.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
Over on hours definitely now.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
You may want to also volunteer because they do need
volunteers year round. To learn more about Nevada child seekers
and all the good that they are doing in our
