Tales of the Night

Tales of the Night

This podcast is inhabited by the stories, urban legends, and horrors that you can find in towns not so different from yours; streets like the ones you walk every night; and even in a silent house in the middle of the night... exactly like yours. The darkness of the most successful and acclaimed horror podcast across all categories in Latin America now in English. Uriel Reyes was born in Tijuana, Baja California. As a child, he learned to comprehend the language of horror movies he found on American television, even though he didn't yet understand the language. He studied Communication at the Autonomous University of Baja California and later drew inspiration from the radio programs he listened to during insomnia-ridden early mornings, ghost stories, and a recording of Juan Rulfo reading a story from "El Llano en Llamas" to create "Relatos de la Noche" a podcast that has made him one of the most listened-to voices in the Spanish-speaking world. A family trying to leave behind an entity that might have traveled with them… a shadow that appears every time a young woman reaches her darkest moments… a presence that manifests after a witchcraft task… and a visit that fulfills a promise made in the form of a game. Stories that remind us that fear doesn't always come from outside. That s...

In this episode of Tales of the Night, we bring together seven stories that have one thing in common: they're so disturbing that many would rather not hear them. Stories that begin in everyday situations—a walk, a phone call, a night at work—and end up becoming impossible-to-explain encounters. Stories that don't just seek to frighten, but also remind us how close the strange, the sinister, and the macabre can always be. Seven st...

In this new episode of Tales of the Night, we'll accompany two brothers who, after a family tragedy, find solace in work and faith... at least for a while. What seemed like a routine task within a church begins to reveal disturbing signs, and they will soon discover that there are doors that should never be opened. This is a story told from the most intimate depths, from the fear that arises in silence, when one begins to suspect ...

Our grandparents hold memories of an older world, full of mystery and superstition. Tonight we'll learn four of those stories: witches who live on top of the hill, a winged figure watching from Bellas Artes, a watchman who saw more than he should have in a cemetery, and the voice of a mother who never stopped calling her daughter from the depths of a well. Tales told from generation to generation, warnings that survive the passing...

In this episode of Tales of the Night, we'll explore places far from the city, where silence hides secrets and the wilderness still preserves something more than nature. Stories in which the unknown manifests itself in the form of dark figures, lurking presences, and threats that don't stay in the mountains... but can follow us back home.

* In this episode of Tales of the Night, we'll hear four stories that, from different corners of the city and different times of day, remind us that there are presences that don't understand logic or distance. Middle Eastern demons that may be closer than you think. A terrifying figure in the middle of a prayer, a shadow that appears where it shouldn't, a passenger who returns without explanation... and a child who, from a wi...

Tonight, community, we slip into the driver's seat. Because those who work the wheel—be it taxi or rideshare—understand that the streets transform after dark. This episode brings you firsthand accounts from drivers who've encountered far worse than heavy traffic or troublesome fares. In this episode of Tales of the Night, we explore what ghosts leave behind when they don't finish leaving. A witch appears in a dream, perhaps, on the banks of the Rosas River in Tula de Allende. A delivery driver in the capital of Durango seems to come into contact with someone else's memories. And finally, a family marked by tragedy discovers that names and memories can carry more weight than we imagine. Three intimate stories, f...

In this episode, we'll hear three stories marked by silence, doubt... and fear. Stories about people who are no longer with us, but who somehow seem to stay close. About sounds, calls, and signs that arrive when we least expect them. Stories that don't seek to scare us with screams, but with something harder to ignore: the possibility that we are not alone.

In this episode, we're joined by five stories submitted by the community. Tales that connect the past with the present, with memories that live on… and presences that have never left. From lonely roads to silent rooms, tonight we face the unknown. Turn off the lights, get comfortable, and prepare to listen.

In this special episode of Tales of the Night, we delve into those moments when everyday life goes awry, when something familiar—a voice, a sound, a presence—no longer feels safe and becomes the beginning of a terrifying experience. Recent stories, told by those still trying to understand what they experienced, remind us that the paranormal doesn't always manifest itself in grand apparitions... sometimes, the most disturbing thing ...

Sometimes fear arrives without warning. It manifests itself in an unexpected whisper, a presence at the end of the room, or something that happens just when we think we're safe. In this special episode of Tales of the Night, we've gathered seven short stories that demonstrate how the inexplicable can appear at any moment. Seven encounters recounted with sincerity by those who experienced them, and who continue to haunt them to thi...
