had Tony Finow that you wanted topick but you couldn't because he'd already used

he was probably gonna win. Butluckily for me that did not happen.

first god I hate when I hateWyndham Clark so much with a passion.

business that we are going to discuss, and that is Wyndham Clark. Wyndham
Clark's a punk um and you,I mean, for people who this might
be their first episode of our podcast, why don't you let them know why

he's looking for his first win perfecttime. The course set up perfectly
for Wyndham Clark. It was noteven a it's not a hard course,
was not a hard field, allof it. I don't even know what
he finished. I mean, thankgod he made the cut. I want

to say, he's like fortieth orsomething. I think you finished twenty fourth.
That's fortieth in my book. Yeah, no, it was not.
You were not happy. You werenot happy, and you had every ring.
And then, of course, asit always always happens, yeah,
the next week, and I can'teven count how many times this has happened
to me, where the next weekthe guy that you take who disappoints wins

the whole damn thing. So hewins the Wells Fargo this past week to
secure his first PGA Tour win andfu Wendham Clark Yeah, well yeah,
so, as you mentioned, itis his first PGA Tour win. So
he now has won eleven million dollarson the tours. That's joining in twenty

eighteen. Not too shabby. Annawas an elevated event. Yeah, one
point six million last week. He'sfifth in head X points right now.
He's got six top tens this yearthis season. Of course, one of
them was not can a guy justcatch a break? A gal just a
break? I mean, I justcannot pick a winner right now. I'm

back to February to the Phoenix Open. He was T ten, Genesis T

Mexico Open at Vedanta twenty fourth,Well Spargo first. It's just it's

Yeah, so I did look upor I did do our stats for other
golfers. We discussed last day.Again, I haven't done it all this
season because and this was definitely oneof our worst tournaments that we've had all

year. So Cam Young, asI said, was fifty ninth. Wyndham
Clark of course won first. MaxHomo was our best finish. That's who
you went with right. Yeah,well with Homo, Yeah, at leasy
he did something for me, forGod's sakes. Yeah, I got a
top ten finish. So he finishedT eight, Patrick Cantley T twenty one,
Fowler and Gary Woodland T fourteen,Hoveland T forty three and Rory T

forty seven. So not our bestperformance, that is for sure. But
you know what, I know whatit only says. You know what it
means you bounce back this week.That's right. We're going to do great
this week. We're going to dogreat this week. We're at the AT
and D Buyer Nelson at TPC CraigRanch in McKinney, Texas. Already some
news coming out of the tournament becauseJordan Spief has withdrawn due to severe wrist

pain. That's a big one.Obviously, he's you know, he's sponsored
by AT and T and then don'tyou know, I think since becoming a
partner with AT and T, Idoubt he has ever ever missed the tournament.
So that's a going to be ahuge loss for you know, the

he wants to get ready for youknow, next week, the week after
the PGA Championship in La. Soyeah, we'll see how he does or

from him, Yeah, because yeah, you'll you win, you get one
point seven million, and then hewins the PGA Championship and everyone in your
golf league who picked him gets threepoint six million dollars who still last?

those top players. I mean hereally is. He's the only like top
top player, yeah, you knowon the again that's playing in this thing.
I mean kh Lee has wanted twoyears in a row. I mean,
he could be a play here ifyou haven't used him, Tom Kim,
if you haven't used Coucher, TOMHOGIhe's he's played well. They're fifteenth
on the tour in greens and regulation, he's top thirty and par three and

par four and par five scoring,so he could be an option. I
know Jason Day hasn't fared well ateasier courses, which is weird. Yeah,
especially coming off a course like WellsFargo that his history and track record
would suggest that he doesn't do well. And this is considered an easy course.
It's a long course but super widefairways and easy scrambling and you should

be able to get a bunch ofbirdies. But for some reason he just
doesn't do well and those types ofcourse, I guess he likes more difficult
courses. And did I dream itor did I see something that said his
vertigo is back. Oh right,really, yeah, that's not good.
I don't know now, I feellike I mean, I do have weird
dreams, and a lot of themare very realistic. But well it's a

weird thing. I'm out. I'mout, No way get me, I'm
out. I don't like him.Oh yeah, I'm really confirms he's fighting
vertigo again. This was last week, so that would mean that would make
me nervous because that's of course whathappened to him at the US Open when
he was playing here at cham Bay. Okay, yeah, I was there.

I saw him fall down. SoI would that alone right there would
make me want to wait until hegets that cleared up before I'm trying to
bet on him to win any golftournaments. And he could prove me wrong,
but I'm just going to err onthe side of caution with that one.
Heddki's is a perfect two for twohere, he's got a tied third
back into twenty twenty two. Um, but you know he's got that neck

thing that's going to be bothering themall season long. So I wonder,
you know, God, you takehim this week and is that stupid neck
thing pop up and you're like,fu, man, what's going on?
Right? So it's not the PGAChampionship, so he's not going to fight
through it. He would just saythat's that's. That's the other thing too.
It's like these guys that are gettingready for like the PGAH Championship too.

I think that kind of like whowho who? They who say to
themselves like, I got a realisticshot to win that? Like Scheffler.
I think Day finds himself in thatcategory. Um, you know, Adam
Scott probably thinks he can still wina major, which he probably can,
but you know the rest of thefield, I'm not sure if they think
that they can actually go on andwin it. So it's kind of hard

to bet on a guy because where'stheir mindset at? Is their mindset at
winning this or is you know,they're looking ahead to the PGA Championship in
New York. I mean it's agood feel. I mean twenty six of
the top ninety players are there,in thirteen of the top fifty, but
it's you know, once you getpast Scheffler, it's you know, the
top players are you know kind ofdown on that list. Yeah, for

sure, Um, just a note. You had mentioned kah Lee and that
he's won there, so he's thetwo time defending champion. We've only played
at this course twice, this tournamentat this course twice, so he's won
it both times. This will bethe third time they've played there. And
they're saying he's starting to peak again. So his latest results to nineteen at
valspart twenty three at Masters and thenfinished tied for eight the last week.

Take a run at him. Whynot? And this stuff I found.
Hell, I'm gonna book him inright now, just for that. I'm
literally just gonna take right screwing.Here's this this stat. If you if
you haven't thought that that he's agood idea, listen to this. He's
gained more than twenty nine strokes tothe field in his last eight rounds at
this course. And the majority he'sgoing to gain people weight, No,

yeah, the majority twenty five pounds, So like twenty one of those came
on t green shots. That's right, Yeah, yeah. I mean I'm
always big advocate if if the guy'sgot a great track record at a golf
course, that player obviously feels comfortablethere, and there's clearly you just read
off the stats. He's won ittwo years in a row, so obviously

cage Lee has a great track recordthere. So if it's a non elevated
event, it kind of makes senseto pay, you know, to probably
grab him if he's available to youin your golf lia exactly. So,
yeah, it's And then one ofthe experts that I was talking about him
again said, for a second thereit looked like he was going to peak
a week early at the Wells Fargo. But obviously christis averted, so they

think he'll don't peak too early.That's what men always do it. Um.
You mentioned Tom HOGI yeah, Isaw quite a few people talking about
him. Um. And they comparedhim to Jason Duffner in twenty twelve.
Yeah, that was a long timeago. I was like, oh,
I can kind yeah, a littleDuffer, a little Duffner to him.

Yeah, but again he's he's good. He's good around the green, he's
great at scrambling. It's the easiestscrambling course. So if you do,
like find yourself a little awry withthe driver and you're you know, pushing
all over the place and all thatkind of stuff, I mean, I
wouldn't worry that at this course aboutthat and if he's really good, he's
really good at scrambling, then Ithink he would be a guy that you

could kind of look at and say, oh, that makes a lot of
sense there. Yeah, and thenanother one. I saw Tyrell Hatton,
you know, her favorite little angrylove him. He does not have any
history at this course, but heis top ten on tour in strokes,
gain, total off the tea andapproach, so um, a good stat
there for him. That would workwell here. And you know, he's
a guy that probably wants to be, you know, getting ready for the

PGA and so maybe a good weekhere kind of preps him for getting ready
for the PGA Championship. And againthe field not being you know, terribly
great, he makes a lot ofsense here. I can't use I use
him with the match player but ohokay, I can't remember who I but
yeah, he was. I meanhe's the betting odds I think for had
like the second highest odds. Yeah, correct, behind Sheffler. He's fourteen

to one. Sheffler's four to one, Hatton at fourteen to one, then
Lee and Day both at eighteen toone. Tom Kim is playing a little
bit better of Lates twenty to one. Okay, so some of that's changed
since this one that I see here, but yeah, it might have altered
what we're looking at. I meana deck U's twenty five to one.
Seewoo. Kim's pretty good odds thereat forty to one, like Shamas,

for guys. They're going to teeoff early on Thursday. Bunch of rain
and winder in the forecast, andthere is a thunderstorm, so they think

He missed the cut. Maya Kobe, he was twenty four, twenty

where he just does not do well. He needs to be challenged on easy

sixty four miles per hour. He'sup to one hundred and seven now,
and he jumped to one hundred andseventy three at Wells Fargo and his driving
distance was up to three ten,which was ranked him twenty eighth in the

he's won there, so he's thetwo time defending champion. We've only played
at this course twice, this tournamentat this course twice, so he's won
it both times. This will bethe third time they've played there. And
they're saying he's starting to peak again. So his latest results to nineteen at
valspart twenty three at Masters and thenfinished tied for eight the last week.

Hell, I'm gonna book him inright now, just for that. I'm
literally just gonna take right screwing.Here's this this stat. If you if
you haven't thought that that he's agood idea, listen to this. He's
gained more than twenty nine strokes tothe field in his last eight rounds at
this course. And the majority he'sgoing to gain people weight, No,

always big advocate if if the guy'sgot a great track record at a golf

cage Lee has a great track recordthere. So if it's a non elevated
event, it kind of makes senseto pay, you know, to probably
grab him if he's available to youin your golf lia exactly. So,

a week early at the Wells Fargo. But obviously christis averted, so they

really good at scrambling, then Ithink he would be a guy that you

you know, her favorite little angrylove him. He does not have any
history at this course, but heis top ten on tour in strokes,
gain, total off the tea andapproach, so um, a good stat
there for him. That would workwell here. And you know, he's
a guy that probably wants to be, you know, getting ready for the

PGA and so maybe a good weekhere kind of preps him for getting ready
for the PGA Championship. And againthe field not being you know, terribly
great, he makes a lot ofsense here. I can't use I use

like the second highest odds. Yeah, correct, behind Sheffler. He's fourteen
