know what's the emphasis more on the fact that they
got out of Pittsburgh so late or how early they
wound up in Cleveland, as they continued, well, yeah, that's

to leave town. I don't know Pittsburgh's next series. I
didn't even look to see who they were playing next,
if it was at home, or if they were getting
on an airplane themselves.

But it's like they were talking about on the postgame
show last night, all of that stuff, all of it
is a lot easier to stomach when you get out
of town with a win. And that's exactly what they did.

gonna do the same thing again, a third consecutive shutout.
The offense isn't gonna do anything. And then, of course,
as we all know, the Astros got it cooking and

wound up putting eight runs on the board and in
so doing getting themselves a little bit of dare I
say breathing room in the AL West lead. I don't
know if I'm gonna call it that since you're only,
you know, a smidge ahead of the Mariners right now,
but I'll take it at this point, especially with the
way this season has started. So the Astros go into

tonight's competition a game and a half up on the Mariners.
It was a great night if you're you know, a
AO West Brethren hater like me, because man, how about.

They got Haliburton last night in the baseball sense, just
a grounder to a second was a walk off, completely insane,
but not nearly as insane as what happened in the

not think that the Pacers, after the run that they've
gone on, especially with the way the Halliburn's playing, they're

way specifically this postseason has gone for them, and with
the way specifically Halliburton has played this postseason, I suppose
anything's possible. I just my problem is Oklahoma City is

court advantage as we speak. They completely gagged away Game one,
and you know, you have to give credit where it's
due to the Pacers, but like they're so good, and
they've been so good all season long that it's just
hard for me to say, ah, yeah, the Pacers, but

the Pacers have been on one of those magical runs
and maybe they'll be a feel good story. I will
say this though, and I can't remember who it was
it was talking about them and talking about the fact
that every single one of their series victories has either
been you know, dealt you know, a lucky blow too

In other words, you know, big, big time injury quarter
and an injury happens.

Yeah, like the Celtics come on, Like, the Celtics are
probably playing the Thunder right now in all likelihood if
they stay healthy.

I know that you're saying that they beat New York

Look, the Celtics win fully healthy. Are a very good
defensive team, and and that's what I would hang my
hat on. Like that's why I'm so excited about the Rockets.
It's you know, I don't worry as much about well,
they've got to get a go to guy. Yeah we
all know that, but like their defense is so good.
It's kind of why I don't want to mess up
too much this offseason in the midst of making some
sort of deal if that's indeed what they end up doing.

But yeah, like I just I thought the Celtics would defensively,
you know, have enough to to at least get to
the championship. Brown Now, I never I thought Oklahoma City
was gonna win the championship basically from I don't know.

a lesser extent, Hartenstein are the kind of the I

where I started to notice it. After Game one, with
the comeback against the Knicks, I started believing the Pacers
were gonna win this because it reminded me of the
shot that Kawhi had against the seventy six ers, Like
it was inevitable at that point, Like it didn't matter
who was going to be on the Western Conference representative,
Kawhi was in Toronto to win himself a championship. That's

how I felt about this series, and really just Indiana
since that Game one of the Eastern Conference Finals. They're
not losing their inevitable throw. Whoever you want in their face,
go have the MVP line up against him, go have
great defensive execution.

But just the continuity, the consistency, the depth.

Of this team which allows them to play a little
bit more slow ball, and the fact that they constantly
keep coming back, they're inevitable. And that's why, like I
understand why the betting line is so high, but that's
where you go ahead and and show money out from
Vegas and go ahead and pocket in a little bit.
