Speaker 1 (00:02):
Did you all see this? We should be putting out
Between five and fifteen posts.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Four hundred people were arrested for things that day said
on social media. History repeats that type of fan.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
He'll succeed. Never doubt that you're the one to plus
recalling one building. You're the best FRONTX. Nothing's gonna ever.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Top you know, you're the best of X posting.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Every single day.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
You nice, you're the best of the breaking the entire internet. Yeah,
those lyrics were just too easy. Every single day three
sixty five, it seems like, uh, they just broke the internet.
They just won Twitter today, which of course now is X,

(00:50):
thus the best of X. So yeah, it was pretty
easy to come up with those. And I've already asked
for some recording time, maybe for re recording.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
I think they got to do better now.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
As I said to our imaging guy who doesn't work
for us, Mike bobians in the building.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
He's always in the building, but he doesn't work for us,
I said, do not change a thing. So let's get
right to it before we get to the top of
the hour. Here, we're going to Cleveland for this first one.
Cleveland's always a great place if you want to see
the best of ex Brown season. I ask you, has
it been good or has it been bad?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
What would you say? What's worse than bad? It's been bad.
I think that's fair. Okay, you want to go with that.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, they've had some injuries, they've had some poor play.
One such player who has been hurt and they're not
sure what the future holds. Has been a point of
contention on some of their talkie talk programs, a bunch
of them out there in Cleveland, radio, TV, the Nets, YouTube,
et cetera. Dwan Jones the player that generated this discussion here,

(01:50):
but he did himself as solid with how he reacted
to it. Normally, we pretty much love anybody with our name.
This maybe not so much. We go to Cleveland and
Adam the Bull on his ultimate Cleveland Sports show is
talking about Dewan Jones. For those of you that know
who Adam the Bull is, I think the bull portion

(02:12):
of his name references the size of the man.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
It is enormous.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
He is probably even well known there in Cleveland for
being a large individual. I think that's safe to say,
fair to say it's definitely accurate. So it's certainly interesting
when you hear him talk about Dewan Jones as he
does here.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I think Dwand is one of those players that you
have to go into a season not counting on it.
You can't rely on that guy because he's got a
weight problem that's not gonna that's very hard to defeat.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
It is.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
I don't know him personally, so I don't know, but
most likely he's got an addiction and when it comes
to food, and it's very hard to overcome. And he's
probably gonna gain a ton of weight dealing with this injury.
I would not be surprised.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, so he's hurt and he's on the sidelines. He's
also mentioned earlier that he'd been hurt a bunch of
times during their deal. You guys see us on TV,
and you will hear shortly we both sit in chairs,
and in both of those cases a damn same thing.
You can see part of the chair even when we're
sitting it. In Adam the Bull's case, he's actually in
a recliner. Basically, it's a more of a living room

(03:26):
set up in the studio that they use. You can't
see any of the chair and there's a good reason
for it. And I'll read to you from Adam's bio.
Last line of it reads, Adam enjoys reading the novels
of Lee Child and Michael Connolly Comma, eating and playing
fantasy football. So I'm guessing he actually recognizes how comical
his tweet must or his commentary there must feel like.

(03:49):
I guess Dwan Jones does also, since he saw this post.
They grabbed that clip and posted on the old interwebs,
and then he quote tweeted it and said, and this
is why it's the best of cks. I think we
both have a weight problem, but I'll be better this offseason.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
By the way, I know we shouldn't laugh at this
food addiction being a thing it right.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Away plays in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Dewan Jones, well, how many offensive linemen are addicted to
food until they're not supposed to be anymore and lose
immense amounts of weight.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Jeff Saturday, Steve McKinney.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Steve mcbody, who's just at the Texans last anyone he's
not offman. Steve McKinnie was at the last Texans home game.
He took a picture with one of his former teammates
who was also there, Dan Campbell, and Steve of course
is quite thin. I've seen him a bunch of times
over the years, a fitness facility being run in the
Philadelphia area by Chris Myers, who's also in shape.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Now, I mean, and he wasn't even the biggest center.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
But nonetheless, and at least Adam did in fact respond
to the response, And I think people may actually move
forward with this and see if they can kind of
turn this into a nice little off season challenge between.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
The two of them.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Quite possibly, we'll see, But I just thought it was
certainly certainly worth noting.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah, absolutely, our.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Good friend Wade Phillips. Sometimes we'll have audio for you,
sometimes we won't. Wade Phillips also took to the interwebs
and was able to contribute something to the best of
X So Wade Phillips went back four years to find
a tweet of his own to quote tweet so he
could pat himself on the back. And since we love Wade,

(05:39):
I thought I'd bring it to the table here back
in twenty twenty, in January, he posted something from PFF.
It was his work as a defensive coordinator and head
coach from two thousand and six to twenty nineteen, listening
just about every year of his NFL work with the Chargers,
the Cowboys, the Texans, the Broncos, the Rams, and it
listed all of his d defenses number one, number two,

(06:02):
number three, number four, number six, number two, again his
overall defensive rankings. He had quote tweeted that years ago
and said thanks PFF Well he quote tweeted it earlier
today and also added to it with XFL defense first,
UFL defense first.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
So we love WAD for that.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
What what's more impressive being successful in the XFL in
the short amount of time that you have or I
guess being successful in other words, which non NFL loo
you know, role that he was performing in was more
impressive on his resume?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Well, considering now it's basically they've merged. Yes, So it's
it's one and the same. Does the Rock still own them?
What it's not going to be for most of the
head coaches, a lot of them are older and are
much more experienced. It absolutely is going to be for
their assistance, their coordinators, their wide receivers, coaches, etc. It's
going to be as much of a stepping stone for
the players as it is for the coaching staffs. The

(06:59):
assist We're gonna see a lot of coaches who actually
did make their way to the NFL through the XFL
or the UFL, and it's because they get to work
with guys like Wade Filt's Peyton Party remember that name.
You probably already know that. I know he I believe
will be an NFL coach sometime in the very near future.
He will once again be a part of Wade's staff. Lastly,

(07:21):
you left are a gamer? Yes, yes, well you can
rejoice just like all the other gamers thanks to our
friends over at the University of Houston. And this doesn't
even have anything to do with their game this weekend
where they will ask everybody to go ahead and blue
out the stadium. They're gonna wear their h Town blue
uniform six o'clock game against Baylor.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
It's also senior night.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Should be phenomenal, But this from the University of Houston.
The headline reads gaming for the good old stereotypes of
online gaming upended by new report from the University of
Houston indicating the science is telling us, contrary to popular belief,

(08:00):
those skills perfected endlessly online gaming can be good for
you as your future careers begin.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Did they list any of the potis?

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Should all be posted on the blog, our daily best
of X posts all right, and you can read all
about it.
