With it to try to kill the roach and.

Speaker 10 (03:20):
It's three things you need to know with the Element Show.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Murder charges have been filed in the deadly shooting that
killed an eighteen year old Cleveland High school cheerleader, Kimber Mills.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
This is the shooting that happened last.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Weekend at the pit. There were multiple victims. Kimber was
shot in the head Tuesday afternoon. They did the walk
of honor for her at Ua b before taking her
to become an organ downer. So it is confirmed now
they have charged the shooter. He also has three counts
of attempted murder for the other people who were.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Injured in the shooting.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
So I hope those families get some any sort of
closure from that that.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I don't know if there's any that you can get.
But Kristen Bell missed being on.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Today after backlash after her Instagram post about her anniversary
tribute to her husband, Dak Shephard.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Do you know about this?
Speaker 3 (04:14):
I've heard about it. I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
So she posted a.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Photo it was happy anniversary to Dak Shepherd and I
love Kristin.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I think that she just didn't know how to read
the room in this moment. The quote in it.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
That has people angry says, I would never kill you.
A lot of men have unlived their wives, even though
I'm heavily incentivized to unlive you.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
I never would.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
And people were upset saying that it's tone deaf because
we are right in the middle of Domestic Violence Awareness
Month and they said it's insensitive and tone deaf.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
I'm not a fan of that.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Yeah, So she I think she knows.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
I think she realized she ended up not going on
today after that, so we'll see what happens. And here's
the thing that you have missed that you didn't know
you needed in your life. Little Debbie's chocolate Christmas tree
cakes are back after skipping last year. Last year, fans
were really upset that they were gone, so they released
them a little early this year and they have already
started popping up in the stores now, so you have
(05:08):
plenty of time to stuck up before they are all gone.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
I'm a fan of anything Christmas tree cake, to be honest.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
That is three things you need to know more at
the Alabama Show dot com.
Speaker 10 (05:19):
The Alabama Show on to me.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
It's amazing free on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 5 (05:28):
All right, another one, we gotta do another one of these.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
I know exactly what we're about to do.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
By the way, thanks for listening to The Alabama Show.
I'm Alabama with producer Blake. I'm a crazy bird lady.
And yesterday one of my birds died.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yes, I saw this.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Duck, my final duck. I'm not buying any more ducks.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
My dogs did it.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
My dogs did it.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Your dogs have a tendency to do this. How many
have they gotten.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
That's all of them, all of my ducks except for two,
and those were just random predators from the woods.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
So your dog the menaces here.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
That's why I'm not buying any more ducks. I have decided.
I'm like, I can't do this. But here's the thing.
Here's how it happened.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Yesterday, I was on the phone with one of my
mutual friends walking.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Around the yard.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
My dogs were out there with me, and I have
if I have four large, like one hundred pound dogs,
haven't put them through training yet. They get a little wild,
and if the duck starts running, my little dog, Scrappy,
you'll start chasing it. While all the other dogs came
in and they caught it. The duck didn't make it.
But while I was on the phone, Yeah, I was
(06:36):
on the phone and I saw it start happening, and
I was like, oh, gotta go and just throw my
phone down on the ground and then start screaming at
the dog's bloody murder like I'm like screaking nude.
Speaker 8 (06:49):
No.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
And it's our friend Jasonly.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
She was on the phone with me, Yeah, and she
heard the whole thing happen and just sat there and
this whole thing probably lasted about three minutes for me
to finally get the.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Dogs off the deck and get the duck away from them,
and then I go back to.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Like look for my phone in the yard, and as
soon as I pick up my phone, I realized she
had She was in the middle of hanging up, so
she listened to the whole thing and traumatized her and
traumatized her.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
How many animal funerals were gonna have to think.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
You do the funeral today. I'm gonna let people call in.
I want you to call the show. What's the worst
thing that's ever happened while you were on the phone
that somebody had to hear?
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Because I know that was like I had to call
her back an hour later. I was like, I'm sorry,
I know you're traumatized.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
You just heard a glimpse of the life as a
farm of a farm owner. And she and then I
was like, you know, she goes, did your neighbors come
check on you? And I was like, actually, know, they're
used to hearing me scream at the dogs in the yard,
so this is normal.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
So if something.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
Actually happened, like if somebody, if there was a person
in the yard and not may just scream like nobody
would come because they would think it's just the crazy
bird lady yelling at her dogs.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
In ourn part, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
Went an Alabama krowswolf.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
That's exactly the literal situation here.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
What's gonna happen? I mean, if you want to say
a few words for the duck.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
You can.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
I'm not buying anymore. That was my final duck.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Okay, I've got a few words.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Okay, hang on.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Thank you you were a wonderful duck.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
I love you, and I'm sorry that happened. My dogs
are jerks.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
I won't get any more of your duck friends to
let this happen ever again. Call the CHOFO eight three
three five oh one bamas the number. What's the worst
thing that's ever happened while you were on the phone
with somebody that they had to like, hear or experience,
because I know there's all kinds of random things.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
That happen when you're on the phone.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
That's eight three three five oh one two two six two.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Y Alabama show to me free on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Eight three three five I one bamas the number to
call the show Andrew, what's the crazy thing that happened
to you when you were on the phone.
Speaker 6 (08:56):
I was waiting for over a month for this company
to call me about an interview you and this man
called me as I was running across the house to
go to the restroom, and he told me all these
details about the jobs, and I thought I had hung
up with him, and I just touck the phone in
my pocket and I had.
Speaker 8 (09:12):
A very explosive moment in the back room.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
And when I picked my phone back up, I checked
my phone to make sure I had hung up and
just check Facebook. I guess because I was sitting there
a minute.
Speaker 8 (09:23):
And he was still listening, and I just out of panic,
I just said, are you still there. He's like, I'm
so sorry. You probably need to go get checked out,
and hung up and I did not get the job.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
By the way, Matt, love you, Betty. Thanks for the Stewy.
Speaker 8 (09:43):
I was traumatized.
Speaker 6 (09:44):
It was a good company to go work for, and
I literally I literally messed it up.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Yeah, love you, buddy, Thank you for sharing.
Speaker 8 (09:53):
I love y'all.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
And we have the person who was actually on the
phone with me when the whole incident happened with the
Ducks yesterday, Jasel and How traumatized are you after yesterday?
Speaker 8 (10:06):
Yes, there was a.
Speaker 7 (10:07):
Freaking dramatized.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
One day.
Speaker 7 (10:11):
I mean, one moment, we're having just a regular, normal conversation,
and then next thing, I hear you screaming like a
bloody like bloody murder, like a mad woman.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Well that's what happens.
Speaker 7 (10:22):
It kind of fades into the distance.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Because I threw my phone down and ran off.
Speaker 7 (10:28):
Oh, I felt the gravity changed from the phone falling.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
How much of it did you hear and I heard, Well,
I couldn't hear the animals.
Speaker 7 (10:38):
All I hear is her screaming at the top of
her womb. It going back and forth. It's like the
round sound. It goes from left here to right.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Here, from left here. Well, everything's okay now, I'm glad.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
I had to make sure I had to text her
after all of this happened, so that she didn't come
to a wellness because I was like, I don't know
if she knows what actually happened, she may think that
somebody trying to kidnap me.
Speaker 11 (11:05):
Well, I just kind of I kind of assumed it
was probably an animal getting an animal. So I was like,
I hung up and I just sat and I was
kind of assessing the situation, and I was like, I'm
just gonna let her.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Call me back.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
In my mind, you were just sitting there, still looking
at a wall, just trying to.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Get your life together.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
I was like, I hope she's alive.
Speaker 7 (11:30):
I think she's alive.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Surely I am, but somebody else is not.
Speaker 10 (11:36):
Yeah, it was scary.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Love you, Thank you for calling.
Speaker 10 (11:39):
Love is what the hell? Headlines on the Alabama show.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
A corrections officer was fired for smuggling chicken wings to
an inmate.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Was there a compensation?
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (11:54):
So this happened in Texas. A corrections officer was arrested
after bringing contraband.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Into the jail. An inmate cash.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
Aptom fifty dollars, and the way he was caught is
because they were monitoring the guy's calls, and the guy
told one of his family members when he called from jail,
he said, I cashed apten fifty dollars and he brought
me some Habanero mango chicken wings from Wingstop. And then
they went back and looked at the footage and saw
the cop ate some of the chicken wings, then gave.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
The rest of them to the inmates dog.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Come on now, it's three things you need to know
you with the Elma Show.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
We're just a week and a half before Halloween, which
mains spooky season is like here here, And if you
want to still go to haunted houses, Condra Haunted Attraction
is still open. They're my personal favorite favorite, but they're
now open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sunday's if you want to
avoid the crowds, And they're also going to be open
this Saturday and Sunday after Halloween next week if you
don't have time to go before.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Blou Beckets are back at McDonald's.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Boo Buckets.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Yeah, you don't know what the boo Buckets are where
it's the monsters?
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Where have you been living under a rock? Like every
year it's the most viral thing that they have.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
I'd have no idea about it.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
You get a happy meal and they have five different characters.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
There's two new ones this year.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
There's a ghost, a pumpkin, a goblin, and the new
ones are a cat and a zombie. And each bucket
has a full happy meal and stickers and then you
can use them to trick or treat with where have
you been?
Speaker 3 (13:27):
I've never heard of this?
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Oh, like anyway.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
They're available right now nationwide, but only while supplies last,
So go get them before they sell out because you
know they're gone in.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Like two days.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
And here are the two colors never to paint your
car if you plan on reselling it, because they'll make
the value of your car go down the most.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Pink blue and black.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
What Blue is the number one at losing an average
of twenty seven percent of their value in the first
five years, and black comes in second at twenty three percent.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
The reason is.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
Dark cars look dirtier when you're trying to resell them.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Lighter colors do better.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Just clean them.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
I know. Look, I didn't do the study. It ain't
my rules. It's the car world. I'm just living in it.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
This study is weird to me.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
That's three things you need to know. More at the
Alabama Show dot com.
Speaker 10 (14:18):
The Alabama Show on to me. It's free on the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
If you have good news, we love to hear it.
Call the show eight three three five oh one. Bama
is the number. Chris, good morning, what's your good news?
Speaker 9 (14:29):
I do have some good news. My good news this
morning is hearing from old friends you haven't heard from
in a while. Yeah, the other day I was having
kind of a bad day. I was in my feelings,
things are going my way in the world, and out
of the blue, I got a text message from somebody
hadn't heard from in a long time, and it changed
my whole day.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
You know what, there's your air horn.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
It's so crazy, like when you haven't talked to friends
in a while, how much of a difference.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
They really make.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
Like I don't think our friends know how much they
mean to us.
Speaker 9 (15:00):
It's really true. It totally changed my day around. And
I know people get anxious like this person I had
kind of written off as a frank cause I heard
and heard from him in a long time. I'd reached
out a few times, never got anything back, so I
just kind of figured I've been ghosted and put it
on the shelf, and they just reached out out of nowhere.
So kind of my public service announcement is if you
got somebody you haven't talked to him a long time,
(15:20):
you get anxious about talking to him because it's been
a while, pick up the phone, make the call, make
the text. You have no idea how much better you
can make that person's day.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
I love that. Chris that is what's awesome. Thank you
for sharing.
Speaker 9 (15:32):
Hey, thanks for having me.
Speaker 10 (15:33):
You were listening to the Alabama Show on demand.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
I spent all day yesterday working on the coolest thing
ever for the show.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
I have no idea what you're discussing, I know.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
But it's great because I'm about to tell you.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
By the way, thanks for listening to the Alabama Show.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
I'm Alabama with producer Blake. What's the thing we've been doing.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
For like a month that you hate the pumpkins?
Speaker 3 (15:57):
I hate the pumpkin.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Pumpkin because you've had to try pumpkin spice flavored things.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
I've had to smell pumpkin anything.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Why do you hate pumpkin so much?
Speaker 3 (16:07):
I don't know it's in my DNA. I just hate
pumpkin with a passion.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Why I don't know the DNA behind it. I, on
the other hand, love everything pumpkin.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
I love fall, I love Halloween.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
And I love the crafts.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
Okay, and you know what's your name on the show,
producer Producer Blake, I would formally like to.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
Introduce you to There's no Pumpkin Blake.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Pumpkin Blake. I have painted Producer Blake's face on a pumpkin.
I don't say some words. We're on the radio at
your job. Say some words.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
It's the most amazing thing ever A painted your portrait
on a pumpkin or a pumpkin.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Pumpkin, Blake, my.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Hair's not red.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Your hair is red. Tell me how awesome this is.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
I can't why.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Literally great. I've sent it to our boss. I send
it to your girlfriend. Your girlfriend was like, you did
such a great job. I don't know, sir, this is amazing.
Speaker 10 (17:12):
I don't know what.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Pumpkin Blake is the.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
Coolest thing that's ever happened.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
To the show.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
You put it on, the worst thing than it could be.
Speaker 11 (17:20):
I know.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
And I also here is your challenge, should you choose
to accept it, which you have no choice. I got
you a pumpkin, and I got you paint.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
You gotta paint my portrait on a pumpkin and bring
it to the show tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
All right, Well, good luck on it looking anything like you.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Your girlfriend literally said producer. Blake's painting skills are terrible.
Don't get your feelings hurt.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Your feelings are gonna be hurt.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Well, I don't care. Pumpkin Blake is awesome.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
And if you want to go see the photo, go
follow the Alabam Show.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
We're gonna post it right now.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
You don't think this is awesome, You obviously think this
is way cooler that I do.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
You're listening to the Alabama Show on to Man eight
three three five oh one.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Bama is the number to call a show. Good morning, Ken.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
I just painted producer Blake's face on a pumpkin.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
No, you did it. I did, and it's so beautiful.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
And producer Blake is just being a Debbie Downer and
hates it.
Speaker 11 (18:11):
Oh, you're kidding.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Why would he do that?
Speaker 3 (18:13):
It's disgusting.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
It's awesome.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
She looks, it's very detailed, and she did like she
