of the TV.

Speaker 2 (00:47):

like to do. I want to feel like Oprah.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
We need to talk to the boss today after the
show and just give away stuff all week long.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Like you get a car, you.

What the hell are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
On the Alabama Show?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
A shirtless man stole a party bus and crashed into
more cars.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Man, are you pulling up some old footage of me?

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Now?

Speaker 4 (01:52):
This one happened in Nashville.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
A shirtless and shoeless man stole the party bus, rammed
it into multiple cars. Listen to the witness, the owner
of the bus talk about it.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
All of a sudden, I heard a loud bang outside.
Two cars are running trying to share one lane here.
To be honest, it was so loud I thought it
was gunshots at first.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Probably just have to scrape up all of our pennies
right here and go get another bus to keep the
show on the road until we figure out what's going.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
On Super Easy Trivia with the Yellabma Show.

Speaker 2 (02:22):

He was, but I don't know what's going on with
them lately.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
He's not as cute as he used to be.

Speaker 8 (02:43):
And he went blige and it's not a good book,
so back to his regular Look.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
All right, well, Crystal, you know how that's the questions
Producer Blake is your lifeline.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
Are you ready?

Speaker 4 (02:56):
I'm ready, all right, Crystal.

You're our winner of Super Easy Trivia.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
You're going to see Matt Rice.

Ill love y'all.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
It's three things you need to know you with the
Alabama y'all.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
So we do have a first alert weather day today.
Make sure you stay weather aware in North and central Alabama.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
This afternoon and evening is going to.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Be the biggest threats of severe thunderstorms that can bring
damaging winds more than seventy miles per hour, large hail
potentially larger than baseballs, and the possibility of strong tornadoes.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
So have your safe place ready.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
The Post Malon custody battles getting a little crazy, have you.
So we talked about post Malon's baby mama filed for custody.
Post Malone is now calling BS on that and he
because she filed in LA. He's saying no, he's refiling
for custody in Utah because that's where their three year
old daughter has been raised. And now she's going back

(04:34):
to LA trying to get soul custody and only giving
post Malone visitation. And I think the reason she's doing
that in California is they're more generous with the money.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
What is that child support?

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Yes, they tend to lean towards the mother no matter what. Yes,
it tends to be the case.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
It's gonna get menasie. We'll see what happens and.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Sesame Street just got saved by Netflix, six months after
Warner Brothers Discovery opted not to renew it. Steel with
Sesame Street for new episode, Sesame Street will be on Netflix.
It was just announced yesterday there will be new episodes.
The show said that the support of Netflix, PBS, and
the Corporation for Public Broadcasting will serve as a unique

(05:14):
public private partnership to enable Sesame Street to continue to
help kids.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Everywhere grow smarter, stronger, and kinder. Elma is not going anywhere.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
This is a whole confusing situation.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Well, just it's not confusing.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Just look out for Sesame Street on Netflix.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
That's all you need to know.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Almo the Cookie Monster, the trash guy, Oscar the Grouch.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
I feel like Oscar the Grouge today. You shut your mouth.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
That sort of thing you need to know more at
the Alabama Show dot com you.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Were listening to the Alabama Show.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Don't make fun of me for crying because I cry
over everything.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
I'm not gonna make funny for crime, for something serious.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
It's just depends on how you grab by the way.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Thank you for listening to the Alabama Show.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
I'm Alabama with producer Blake and I'm producer Blake.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
God, I'm not crying now. I don't know. We'll see
what happens.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
I didn't make it the full twenty six miles of
the hike. I'm mad at myself. My body gave out
a sixteen miles.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
That's still you back like that, that's bad you.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Still.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
The thing is you're hiking for a good cause. You
don't have to finish it. To still have hiked.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
For this and to have raised the money for the kids.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
You're literally not all you're doing that is for you
at that point. The money is for the kids.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
That's what everybody said.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
That was the thing. That's the facts. You're hiking to
try to prove to yourself you can hike. And you
went sixteen miles. That's sixteen more than I even thought
about doing.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
That makes it because I was real disappointed in myself.
So I did a hike for Make a Wish. They
do this challenge every year. It's called the Trail Blaze Challenge.
There was a Make a Wish kid that went out
there that's like twelve years old, that's doing it.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
And he did it last year.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
And so as you're.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
Walking, you know when you get up to the trail.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
They played this inspirational message from kids while you're in
the van, and the kids are like it tells their
stories and they're like.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
You can do it.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
And there was a moment like a mile in.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
We had thunderstorms because we've had rain for what feels
like the past year non stop.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
So I'm a mile in and lightning and rain starts
pouring out.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
I'm soaking with I'm like, oh my god, am I
gonna make.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
This walk through it?

Speaker 5 (07:24):
I hate you still made it pretty far view, Yeah,
you went in good ways.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
God.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
The problem was here's what I did. Halfway through.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
They gave you lunch.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
I sat down and I hate three turkeys handwhich is I.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Was so angry, and I took my shoes off and
I got too comfortable.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
They said, you know, just make yourself.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
The girl I did. I got too comfortable. And then
by the.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Time I finally stood up, like forty five minutes later,
and they said, my whole face went white.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
And they were like, yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
I don't any further next time. I don't want to
go your face.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
But look there.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
If you were listening to the show, because there are
a lot of people that were hikers, for make a
wish that came up to me during the trail. And
this is what's so cool about it, And this is
what made me so emotional. Everybody supports everybody, and you
don't know anybody.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
While you're out there and you're walking.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Along in the woods for a really long time, you're
dealing with some stuff I was crying thinking about, like
my freaking mom that passed away six years ago.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Oh yeah, I'm telling you. Nature makes you think.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
It's therapy.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
If you If you are listening to the show and
he did the hike, I want you to call in
eight three three five oh one, Bama, because I want
to hear your stories too.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Thank you for making me. I have been beating.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Myself up all weekend for not making it the full
twenty six. I don't know why I've been in my
head about it all weekend.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
You know what makes it even better? You can push
yourself to do more next year. I know that's what
I'm saying. Like you, you're sitting here going, oh.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
That's so bad. I guarantee I would have went ten
miles into.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Yeah later, I'm out.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
I made it far enough.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Good Look everybody else, I'll call the show eight three
three five oh one Bama is the number.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
You were listening to the Alabama Show on demand.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
I forgot to show you a second ago. There is
one picture that represents how I felt the entire hike
because people were taking pictures of you while you're walking.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Okay, this.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
You fit up.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
This is so bad.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
My feet hurt. They felt like they went a thousand pounds.
I want fourteen miles up a mountain. Your mouth looks
like you.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
I didn't know if I wanted to cry or be happy.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
Didn't look like either.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
Anyway, we'll post that on the Alabama Show.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Go follow us.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
You were listening to the Alabama Show on demand.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Eight three three five oh one Bama is the number
to call the show.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Kelly, good morning.

Speaker 7 (09:52):
I did not do the walk because just the hike
is even thinking about it made me tired. So you
I have every right to be very very proud of yourself.
Thank you, Producer Blake. I'm so proud of you for
being such a good supporter this morning.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
He has been.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
Look I am a supporter when it's stuff that matters,
and when it's non essential stuff, I am here to
pick on or just like anybody else.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
But when it comes to the kids.

Speaker 8 (10:20):
I get that.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah, that's the greatest thing about the Trailblaze Challenge and
everybody at Make a Wish. You start meeting Make a
Wish Kids and parents of Make a Wish Kids and
all the staff that works there, and it really takes
you outside of your everyday life and all the like
all of the little problems we have of like oh
my house is dirty, I need to clean it, and
it makes you put life into perspective and look at

(10:43):
these kids who have been going through something so difficult,
and it just makes you stop and think about life differently.

Speaker 7 (10:50):
Yes, you did a fantastic thing, and like you said,
next year, a little further, a little further, the following year,
and eventually you're going to make that twenty.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Six mile Kelly, I love you, Thank you.

Speaker 7 (11:02):
I love you. Guys. Both have a great day.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
It's three things you need to know with the element
Messavia Hills Elementary West is still closed today after Sunday's
severe weather.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
So if your parent, you're asked to check your email
or the parent Square app for more updates.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
What happened.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Rainwater runoff went into the lower level of the school
and in a lot of the classrooms, so they're still
cleaning and disinfecting. Here's five signs somebody is spying on you.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Through your phone.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Number one, your battery drain's really fast. Number two, your
phone heats up because if something's running in the background.
Number three more data usage. You have all these, don't
you yo. Number four strange text or notifications. And number
five your screen randomly turns on even if you're not
touching your phone.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Oh man, I think I'm getting I'm getting stopped.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
You need to go figure out that out. It might
be me.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
If you're afraid that AI could steal your job.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
There's any report that says there's jobs with.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Good pay, long term stability, and they do not require
a college degree, and they are not likely to be
replaced by AI because radio, you know, they could copy
our voices and they.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Couldn't replace us with AI. Here's the jobs. Are you ready,
producer Blake, let's hear it. A forest fire.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Inspector, what a flight attendant, an electrician or plumber because
AI can't be doing that.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Also chefs and cooks.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Well, I mean, I know I can do some electrician work,
so I might be doing that.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
I'm gonna go be a forest fire inspector. That's three
things you need to know. More at the Alabama Show
dot Com.

Speaker 1 (12:43):

All right, let's hear it.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
By the way, if you have good news that you
want to share, call the show. Eight three three five
oh one. Bama is the number. Here's the good news.
A cat escaped the vent and took a three mile
journey home.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Well, I said, always animals with.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
You because I think it's funny. Literally, this happened in Florida,
but we just kind of give this cat and Florida.
A cat named George Jacent got needed and.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
He didn't want to stay any longer. So he popped
his cage open, scaled a fence and escaped while still
on anesthesia, and then showed back up at his house
three miles away.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
A few days later.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
He got his man had taken and you guys are
you should stay for listen to the owner talk about it.
And he was able to pop that cage open and
he sprung out of there and he was gone in seconds.

Speaker 9 (15:55):
Coming back from there, he has to go through two
or three subdivisions.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
He has to go around the lake and probably five
or six roads. So I was distraught and heartbroken. He
needed a human touch.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
You know, I.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Think that's I think you right away because of a
human touch.

Speaker 6 (16:15):
I feel like.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
There's a movie about this. Look congrats George.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
But I'm with you, buddy.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
The Alabama Shot. It's free on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
Family Meeting. We're having a family meeting.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Why.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
By the way, thank you for listening to the Alabama Show.
I'm Alabama with producer Blake. Say Hello, Producer Blake.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Hello, Producer Blake.

Speaker 6 (16:38):
Call in eight three three five O one, Bama.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
If you have a friend like Producer Blake who offends.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
You very hard, what I'm gonna ask you a few
questions and I want you to answer them as honest
as you can.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
Okay, what's the thing on your arm?

Speaker 3 (16:52):
It's tattoo? When did you get it last Tuesday?

Speaker 2 (16:56):
How many other tattoos do you have in your life?

Speaker 3 (16:58):
That's it?

Speaker 4 (16:59):
That's your first tattoo. Correct?

Speaker 2 (17:00):
What's the thing you emailed me in our show prep yesterday.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
I've been bothering all my friends trying to figure out
how to do this correctly.

Speaker 6 (17:08):
How to take care of your tattoo after you get it?

Speaker 4 (17:11):
How many friends have you called?

Speaker 3 (17:12):
At least five?

Speaker 4 (17:15):
And do all of your friends have tattoos?

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Yes? And they also all have different routines on how
to take care of it.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Who is somebody that you spend time with every single
day that you see all the time that's covered in
a lot of tattoos?

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (17:28):
But who also went on a hike?

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Answered question?

Speaker 3 (17:31):
You? You?

Speaker 4 (17:35):
What do you call me ask me for advice?

Speaker 3 (17:38):
You were out of town on a hike. How was
I supposed to call you?

Speaker 4 (17:41):
You could have texted.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
No, you said, I'll be busy there in your time.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
It doesn't matter if I answer you or not. It
would be nice to be thought of.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
I thought of you first, but you said, don't tax
me because I'll be busy.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
So what did I do? I called my other friends
at the tattoo on Tuesday? Why did you wait till
Saturday to start taking care of it?

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Because that's what they said to do. Keep the film
on it. That way it gets all the no it
needed to breathe.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
But putting on.

Speaker 9 (18:04):
It tattoo gooi.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
So it's they got antibacterial soap, lotion and balm.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
I gotta emphasize it.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
How much did you pay for that? You just got
aqua for That's.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
What I keep hearing now. But they have an answer Saturday?

Speaker 4 (18:23):
Is it itching? Let me see it's a little bit?
Is it peeling?

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Here's the thing, it's just like a little bitty it's
a scratch you got like a cat scratch.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
You don't have to do a lot of stuff to it.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
This means the world to me. You quit bullying me.
You listen.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
It's two sticks and an asteroid.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
It's a comment. It's Haley's comment with a halo on it.
So it's Halo's comment.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Call the show. Do you have a friend that should
