Speaker 1 (00:04):
We'll save our broader rest of the NFL discussion for
kicking off the next segment. So Cowboys, I wanted to
mention this as well because this also scares me when
I see this trend. The game against the Viking Sunday
Night opened in Vegas with Cowboys as seven and a

(00:25):
half point favorites. That has now dropped all the way
to five and a half. So the amount of sharp
money coming in is taking. Took the Vikings plus the
points as quick as they could early in the week,
and it's moved that line two whole points. But now

(00:45):
underneath a touchdown. Okay, Well I'm trying to think, like
what it is that could have happened this week that
would have moved in a point and a half because
that's usually due to injury. Well, I think it's I think, honestly,
I think it's more of a Vegas set the line
and the majority of the money coming in jumped on
that Vikings with the plus.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Seven and a half. Yeah, they were taking the points exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Because again I don't understand, because you would take seven
all day, all day, all day, you always take that,
and in a game where one of these teams has
six wins the other team has five. Is how was
one of them a seven and a half point favorite.
When the Vikings, as we mentioned earlier, they got all

(01:29):
of their starters back on both sides of the ball
last week for the first time since Week one.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
We're now and they had no injuries last week, so
we're now.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Going into back to back weeks that they have all
twenty two starters for the first time all year. There
are signs to be concerned here. Do I think this
is the game that the Cowboys break our hearts? No?

Speaker 2 (01:51):
I think they win this one. I don't think they cover.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
I think the Brian Flores led Vikings defense keeps this
game closer. The Vikings I've only given up more than
twenty two points twice this year. They've got a really,
really solid unit on the defensive side of the Ballah.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
I just don't think we're right.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
And even as bad as this Cowboys defense has been,
now that we are weeks removed from the trade deadline
and the additions that we've seen come back from the
injured list, I just don't see how the Vikings score
enough points to win this game. Now next week against
the Chargers, when you and I are in here hopefully

(02:33):
recapping a Cowboys victory Monday, and turning our attention to
the Chargers.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
There might be some concern there coming

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Up next, let's look at the rest of the NFL
here on The Andy Everett Show.
