Speaker 1 (00:02):
We are coming to you live from the podcasting capital
of the world. iHeart Media in San Antonio wherever you
may be listening to us around the world. I heeart
app yep. Just remember what we're saying now. We actually
said twenty seconds ago.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Oh no, no, more like a minute and a half
to two minutes. Yeah, it's two minutes depending on what station.
But yeah, it's a there's a delay. Holy cow. So
put it this way. I could say something, walk to
my desk over there, then open.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Up the app and hear yourself say it again. Didn't
hear myself say it again? Speaking of that, the delay
on the streaming stuff? Yes, do you know who really
has very little delay? Now? Who? MLB? Really? On the
MLB app? If you're watching a game or listening to
the broadcast, they are almost in real time. WHOA, I

(00:54):
don't know how they've done that. WHOA, yes, Oh, I
kind of like that. Do you have the MLB app?
I don't. I do, I'll get it. I have it
and I use my login from the center Field package
that I buy, and I was like shocked, they are
on the button. It used to be that if you listened,
like if I listened, if I streamed a game on

(01:14):
radio on my phone. I'd see the ESPN notice come
up before someone at a home run, and then I'd
hear it. Well's see now on the MLB app they
are right up to date. Well, I remember when you
were doing Spurs games.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
People used to sync up their TVs to the to
the radio and turn the sound down on the TV
and listen to you. And then then that Janet Jackson
thing happened, and that ruined it.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
We had to put everything in delay. What did she do?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
She showed her nipple at the Super Bowl? Allegedly she
did that. Allegedly. I tried to see it. Honestly, I
don't see how anybody saw that.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Of course, like everybody else, I was watching and didn't notice.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I know, That's what I mean. I didn't known till
the next day. I was a little bit later on
that night.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
But it was a big deal. No, it wasn't. It
was a big deal. But we haven't seen what's her
name again, Jordan, Jordaan Jordaan. We haven't seen Jordan do that. No, No,
we weren't at the Mismain Paget so now we weren't there.
But uh, Billy boy was there.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, it was Jdge next question and just looking forward
to playing the next game.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Okay, so it's Memorial Day hmm. And of course that
always rings one thing in particular for us. It does,
and it does. I say that you have to open
it first. No, it's hoping. It's just you didn't click it.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Barry Ollie who gets the ball from their official Ellie
to win bound Ellie to set. Elliott fires a off ballots.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Three by shot.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Elliott hot off ballots three.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
He's good this Hearst lead.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
By one shot. Elliott has twenty two points. He has
six out seven shooting three pointers today.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Oh my god, that was my favorite. Oh my god, well,
oh my god, was very popular. Yes, it was. That
was the popular sag. That would have been. No, I
didn't know it, Oh my god. I forget where it
came from, but it was. It was popular and it
was the players used it a lot. I just dropped
it in there. But I remember when I talk about now,

(03:17):
and I thought I was going to mention this in
the last hour, and I forgot what I was thinking about.
I lost my track. I thought it happens old age.
I was looking around and I remember Pop just dropping
his head like you weren't supposed to take this. Oh,
so it was not the play. It was not the play.
And he just dropped his head and shook it and

(03:37):
then of course realized, I'd better be happy about this
because we're in good shape right now. And when he
had that press conference was now two weeks ago. Two
weeks ago. Yes, that was hard to watch. It was
very hard to watch. You know. They kept it so
quiet and like I knew nothing. I mean, they came
out with a stroke. But I texted people and everybody said,

(04:00):
haven't talked to him. I left it alone. I didn't
send him a text, but I sent other people in
the organization text. No one would say anything but seeing him,
it was tough. It was tough, and of course only
good thoughts for him and to get well, and what
he has often said anytime people would ask him about

(04:22):
some player's injury and say, hey, let's worry about him
being healthy, not worry about his basketball career. So the
same thing there. Just want him to get healthy and
enjoy his grandkids and do whatever it is that he
wants to do now.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
And being president of the Spurs, I mean, he'll still
have some say so, and some decisions I would imagine.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
I would imagine yes, I imagine he could still think,
oh yeah, and you know, do this or do that,
or we should look here or look there, and well,
and I wonder too.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
After you know, we heard that he had a stroke
and they kept saying mild stroke, which I don't believe
there is such a thing.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
I just had experiences.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, my mom had one, and let's say she's still recovering.
That was five years ago. I just didn't think that
he could keep up with the riggers of the NBA
travel and all that going through in the recovery that
he has to go through. I just didn't think it
was possible. So I was not surprised, but still sadden.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
But I'm happy, like you said, I'm happy he's staying
with the organization. I think that's important. I don't think
anybody wants him to go, but I do think that
was interesting, and I may have mentioned it on the
air that next day. Is that of all the anti
pop stiff we heard after he canned Bob Hill, then
it kind of softened a little bit with five Rings,

(05:35):
and then it came back with his opinions, which he's
entitled to have It's America. If you have opinions, He's
entitled to have opinions, and he's allowed to say them,
just as you are allowed to say them. And then
the hate all came back out again, and now at
least people have the more costs. And yeah, talking about him,
I just wish it wasn't in the past tense. And

(05:56):
then if he's not, if he's retired from coaching forever,
then it so be it. But hopefully he just gets better.
Oh yeah, that's what we all want. That's what we
all want. You want me to walk out now, Shane?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
You want me, Well, he's got thirty seconds of music.
We still got twenty seconds left.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Check. Oh you want me to talk up to which
you just let go? Don't let Ozzie play. We like Ozzy.
We're back with one more hour. You won't want to
miss that one
