LeBron had a near 20-year milestone come to an end.

We had an end of the era thing happened this
Lebron James, starting back on January sixth, two thousand and seven,
scored double digits and he had never not scored double
digits until last night when the Lakers won, but he
only scored eight points. I hope that this is Lebron's
last year. I kind of sense that it will not be.

(00:27):
I know he's in fantastic shape. I know that he
is well, he's doing injuries now well, I don't I
understand people with sciatica, how painful it is and how
nerve wracking it is, and if he legitimately has that.
But I'm not so sure. He's just not, you know,
milking the season a little bit. So he's fresher in
the second half of the season. But nonetheless, I think

we're starting to see the decline of the best one
of the best players of all time. I would put
him in my top five, not in my top two
or three. But even though he has the scoring title,
you play that long and take that many shots, you
should score that many points.

Yeah.

But it was kind of interesting because there was a
quote from Jalen Brown and he said, I just got
my twelve thousand points, and I realized I'm thirty thousand
behind Lebron. So it's he's He's had a remarkable career,
but I think we're starting to see while he can
still be effective in spurts, he's not the same player
he was and even two or three years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
I just want to point out, for those that forgot,
he came out of high school, so a lot of
these guys are coming out of college. I'm just putting
that out there. But the other thing is that I
had thought that for sure that this was going back
to twenty eleven in the Game six, I believe, or
Game four against the MAVs where he only scored eight
points in the twenty eleven AMA Finals. This was actually just.

Because that last play he could he probably could have
taken a shot when he was in the paint. Instead
they give it to ruy Hashim Moore, who was wild

So I do agree he made the right play.

He made the right play. He's on the decline, obviously,
nudge with the injuries, but with age and everything else
that comes with that. But that's just natural and at
the very least to say he made it that far
as impresidented of itself.
