Thank you so much again for being with us today.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Don't forget to tune in Sunday morning at ten for
the Fanatics Show, and Dylan and Shane are going to
have on Mark White again as the former mayor, Ron
Nurrenberg and Don Harris.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
From News four amongst your guests. Right, Yes, sir, I
really do appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
And I was Dylan pointed out, and I don't know
if you heard this or not, but the Fanatics in
the or les six months, we are now the number
one local radio show in the city of San Antonio
on the weekends.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Awesome.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
I know, I'm excited for that. That's cool.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Anyway, you can tune in Sunday morning at tend to
get in all of that. Next week is our countdown
of the first football game Monday. We'll have a press
conference sound from Jeff Trailer and Sarkisian Tuesday. Starting on
Tuesday next week, Jeff is on with us at six
o'clock for a segment each week, and then the Jeff
(00:57):
Taylor Radio Show at at Rocca and Martilla. You don't
know where that is, It's where the Spurs practice facility is,
kind of out there between the shops. At loch In
Tara and Fiesa, Texas. Uh So it's on the back
side of the shops of loch in Tara. The street
is via Mercado and we'll be out there at Jason
(01:17):
Daty restaurant. Foods really really good and for those of
you are wondering, I have checked out them menu. It
is very reasonable and I have no idea what drinks
costs because I never buy one, so you're on your
own for figuring out what that is. But I think
you'll find it good. I've I have sampled some of
the food. It was amazing when I when I ate
out there back in the spring.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
So we're looking forward to this. What's the spread on it?
Tell me about the spread?
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Oh, it's whatever. It's it's rest. It's just, you know,
kind of an eclectic restaurant food. You can get sandwiches
and burgers and steaks and salads and all kinds of stuff,
so different appetizers.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Would you eat the burger Scottie style?
Speaker 2 (01:55):
I like eggs pretty much any way you can make them,
but I really don't put an egg on it. I
mean it's not that I wouldn't, it's just that I've
never thought that that would be appetizing.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
I thought it before. It's not bad. It's just a
it's just a it's a new task.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I mean, I'll eat it. There's I don't think there's
any way you can cook an egg that I won't
eat it. But I don't necessarily mix. I like to
mix eggs with whatever potatoes I have, whether hash browns
or whatever, especially if you have like an over medium
egg or whatever and you get the running yolk. But
I don't necessarily maybe great on the burger. I've just
never tried it. I don't know, but yeah, I think
(02:31):
you'll like the venue. It'll be a little bit warm,
so dresses if you're going to be outside, because the
patio up on the upper deck. But we've kind of
checked it out, and by the time seven o'clock rolls
around when Jeff's on with us, the sun should be
behind the practice facility, so it shouldn't be too bad
out there for the majority of the shows this summer
or this this fall. And we'll look forward to hearing
(02:52):
from Jeff on Wednesday night and then uh Friday, we
will do this show next week from Kyle Field, and
we'll be going over to Kyle to a college station
on Friday morning and setting up in time to get
on the air at four o'clock Friday afternoon from that venue,
and then it's football season the next day. You ready
for to stay in the studio for seven hours every
(03:15):
Saturday for the next twelve of the next thirteen weeks
or so.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
This is my third season with you. I know, I
enjoyed it last year.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
I enjoyed listening to you and Pat and everybody else
on there, especially like the b roll you'all have of
y'all just talk and messing each other behind the scenes
is probably even better than stuff you'll say.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
All, well, yeah, we just can't put it on the air,
that's the problem. But what doesn't go on the air
is always better than what does. That's an absolute given there.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Have you ever been to the Kyle Fields.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah, we've been there twice. UTSA played there in twenty
sixteen in twenty nineteen. It's a good booth and it's
way up high, which I'm fine with. It's just on
the east side of the stadium, so you can't see
the down and distance marker. You have to go off
the scoreboard. But the first world problems we can sell
off Football's back. I love it all right. That'll do
(04:03):
it for the show. We'll see you on Monday at four.
Thank you for being a part of it today and
thanks to Shane. Have a fabulous weekend and see you
