Golden State goes up 2-1 without Jimmy Butler, and Anthony Edwards takes LeBron to the brinks of elimination.

I said last week on Thursday that any game that
Jimmy Butler does not play in should be an easy
Houston win. And then there was Game four and it
was not an easy Houston. It was Game three, Yeah,
game three, and it was not an easy Houston win.
So now it's two to one Golden State thanks to

a serious missteps by Houston not to take advantage of
the fact that Butler was out and the Warriors simply
don't have very much scoring. Now, Steph was Steph as

Alfa echin Goon is going to do more than fifteen points. Now,
don't get me wrong, the the Rockets played well, they
just didn't play well enough. Because if you told me, hey,
you're starting five is going to have everybody's going to

about twenty five to thirty points coming off the bench,

you would probably take that most nights.

Yeah, but I think when the Warriors before Jimmy Butler
were struggling to be in the play in tournament. Correct,
And when Jimmy got there, they all of a sudden
they almost barely. They barely They got the seventh seed,
but they could have gotten out. They could have been
the sixth seed if they won a couple extra games.
They still weren't this threat, if you will, from a playoff.

Standpoint, Thank you Harrison Barnes by the way, on that one. Yeah,
well he came here, but well I don't know that
he would have even well, no, because remember the Harrison
Barnes three point shot when they played the Warriors basically
screwed them.

see that thing is Spurs had no business beating a
team that's trying to be in the playoffs. They tanked
that game, not intentionally, but unintentionally, had a bad a
bad day to have a bad day. And so anyway,
with Butler and Curry there, and as they said this
last week, if they score seventy five or eighty, they're

going to be hard to beat. But if you can
combo them into scoring sixty, then you can probably beat them.
And without them, I just didn't think the Golden had
had enough firepower. And even though I'll give credit for
the Warriors winning that game, I'm also going to give
credit for Houston losing that game because it's a game
that Houston had, they had more experience, and they had
been in that situation before, could have smelled enough blood

in the water to attack and win that game and
be back up to one and reclaim homecourt advantage. They
still are going to have to win now in San
Francisco to win this series, and if they don't win tonight,
they're going to be down to you know, the game
six coming up, or the Warriors could win any of
the next three games and win the series. Yeah.

I mean you would assume that maybe in a crucial
game like that, a guy who has playoff experience and
championship experience, Fred Van Vliet, And again he didn't play bad,
seventeen points, led the Rockets and scoring, But you would
assume that somebody would try to, Hey, we've got to

to pounce on them now. We have to be a
shark with smelling blood in the water. And they just didn't.

so he can get away with it a little bit.
I have a major issue with him neglecting his parental
duties for this child that he allegedly allegedly created, and
I just think we're in a situation here where where

very good going forward. They're going to have to win.
They're gonna have to get this series even back up
