Speaker 1 (00:04):
During the break, we looked up some stats from the
eighty five OU Texas game. Yeah, Treitman had runs of eighteen,
sixteen and twenty five yep in that game.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Basically knew.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
One of them was so it's down going towards the
north end zone and oh you won that game, by
the way, fourteen to seven.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Troy's longest run and that year was twenty eight yards.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yeah, he had that in another game.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
But then he broke his leg the next week against
Miami and that was the end of the OU career
and off to UCLA. He went, probably for better for
him because he wasn't going to get to throw the
ball very much in the OU offense.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
That's college football season. H speaking of college Texas.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Had negative yards rushing in that game, just letting you know, Oh, well,
I wasn't alive, so it doesn't count. I'll just put
it that way.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
And the best play of the game, the very hyped
up on steroids, Brian Bobsworth.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Is he not your favorite player? He's all right. He
was my name for a while.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
I remember that. I remember you saying that a few times.
But it's kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
But we had a there was like a four plex
of apartments. There was several four plexes and he lived
in the one behind of all. Just gave him the
head nod just wayvedout him as he went by in his.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
His no doors jeep, his no doors jeep.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, in one of those jeeps wall the doors come
off and you have the roll bar and that's it.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
That's what he was driving. I guess there was a pla.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
There was a play in that game where uh Todd
Dodge gets ready to hand the ball off to Eric
Metcalf and Bosworth grabbed one of them with the left hand,
the other the right hand and tackled them both and
they didn't fumble, which was a miracle, but they were
trying to hand the ball off and either or both
got credited for a negative loss on that play.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
I mean, I will say that even though his NFL
career did not turn out the way.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Because he stopped taking exactly, it did not turn out
the way that it that he wanted it to. But
look at the job hes now.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
He's not sure if on the Doctor Pepper he is
doing fantastic. And I love how last year they incorporated
the ou Texas with having Quinn youwers obviously with the
whole nil stuff. You know, he's like, you know, deputy yours,
you need backup. We don't need to mean backup. Regardless
of his last name was a long beautiful hair. He's like,
I don't think we're talking about the same thing, but

(02:18):
you know, I think it also goes with like how
with a rod is if you publicly get yourself back
out there to re reimagine your image. I mean Brian Bosso, Yes,
when I look at that, I'm like, oh, yeah, that's right.
I'm not supposed to like him because he's an ou guy,
but he's so darn good at that.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
And it's like, ah, I kind of always had a
good personality.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
He was always and when when you would interview him,
you were gonna get a tape recorder full of stuff. Yeah,
I mean I he would go on the I hate Texas,
I hate burn Orange, I hate this, I hate that,
and it was just he didn't care how much fodder
he gave Texas because you know, he felt like he
could back it.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Up on game day and he could because of his
friend Royd.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
He got off the bus like in the with the
he didn't even have the he had his well, no,
he had. He had the The players usually wear like
a T shirt that so their shoulder pads don't have
the shoulders, and then they have like the they have
vests now because they have data tracking stuff in it,
but they just he had he had the shirt.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
He just got off the bus.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
With the T shirt on and and then then they
put the shoulder pad cover and then the shoulder pads
are on. But he was like he came off the
bus in full uniform. He was ready to go.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
You were like that, dude, is there's something wrong with
that guy.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
This guy's got a screw. He had seventeen backles. I
think in that game too.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Urban Meyer says, no, thank you to being a GM
we'll explain why.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
It's the Andy Everage show on the ticket
