The Roadrunners to play FIU in the First Responder’s Bowl.

These teams haven't played one another since they were most
members of Conference USA. Honestly, I know nothing about FIU.

Also, like, if you're a UTSA and a fan, this
is a win because last year you had to go
all the way to the East Coast take on a
what will be a home team in Coastal Carolina, And
now you have to do is take the nice little
four hour drive up from thirty five to to Fristco,
a place you were preferred. By the way, I know.

It's Dallas instead of frisk it's not the first game,
it's all the same, it's it's at SMU instead of
in the Metroplex. The only thing is it's outside, and
not that it's matter because both teams are warm weather
teams and so both are probably going to have to deal.
I was doing an interview yesterday on kind of a
preview ball with somebody from the Miami Herald, and he said,

what do you expect from this game? And I said, well,
I think the fans will come. It's an easy drive
from East Texas. It's a pretty easy drive from San Antonio.
You can go at least up to Dallas on the
day of the game if you're so inclined to do
so and still have your Christmas if you're a fan.
But I said, I said, it might be sixty degrees
that kickoff, and it might be snowing sleeding in twenty degrees,

So you have no idea what weather you're going to get,
and especially when you play outside in December in anywhere,
but especially here or anywhere, but also here, you're going
to have that issue. We'll talk more about this with

thoughts on playing Florida International again. They were a tough
out when we played them in Miami. UTSA has handled

them usually pretty well here in the Jeff Trailer era.

I do wonder if that Army game, or even at
the Temple game has changed any different, Like do what
bowl game they play at that point, because you do
want to that one win can change everything.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
See I look at see. I don't think the New
Mexico Bowl is that special of a bowl. And that's
where North Texas is going to go because they didn't
beat tou Lane. So you go from the college football
playoff to the New Mexico Bowl and it's a bowl
game like every other ball game. And yeah, but it's
also December and it's cold, and so you're gonna have
to deal with that. So we'll talk about that more
