Speaker 1 (00:02):
Fourth of July weekend upon us.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Many of you are headed to a beach or a
vacation resort someplace. Be careful wherever you're going and have
a good time.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Do it responsibly. Please, Yes, don't drink, don't drive. That's
why Uber and Lyft and all of those are available.
Or call a buddy, Call a buddy. I always tell everybody,
like New Year's Eve or you know, Fourth of July,
buddies in town or just friends in town. Dude, I'm
in insomniac. You can give me a call if you

(00:33):
need a ride. Give me a call, man, give me
a call, shoot me a tech. I'll come pick you up. Absolutely,
I got no problem with that. Absolutely all right.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
We saw video in the last few hours Victor Woman
Yama playing basically pick up soccer with a bunch of kids,
which I think is cool. I think if you're playing
out in the in the you know, whether it's pick
up basketball or whatever you're doing, and you know some celebrity,
some athlete like Victor Women, you shows up and says, hey, man,

(01:01):
can I join you?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
What are you gonna do? Tell him no.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I've always said I have mixed emotions about Sergio Garcia,
because I've seen him act very childish at times. And
then there's a story that his wife's family lives up
near on a ranch near Burnet or Burnett or I
think it's Burnett, but there's a golf course up there
called Delaware Springs.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
And where did his wife go? Andy?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
U T that's right, and well, when you marry Texas Royalty,
that's you get to live on a big.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Ranch in Texas. Yes you do, Yes, you do.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
And so but anyway, he shows up at Delaware Springs
and asks the pro hey, can I come play out here?
And you know, they give him his cart and put
his bag on his cart and he walks out to
the first hole and there's three guys out there and goes, hey, guys,
I'm Sergio. Mind if I play with you? I mean,
I think that's really cool. And that's the good side
of Sergio. And then sometimes he whinds because he couldn't be.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Tiger or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
But I there's there's good Tiger.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I mean, there's good Sergio and bad Sergio.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
So if Victor wiman Yama shows up at a kids
soccer game and wants to kick the ball around with you, you're
not saying.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
No, well, I mean you saw that. I don't know
if you saw that video a couple of weeks ago
before I think he went to uh to go train
with with the Monks. He just randomly, I guess, was
walking in a neighborhood or I don't know, or randomly
came across a kid and just decided to go play
like horse with him, or you know, shoot hoops and
a kid just like you know, like how I tell you.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
When I just randomly.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Stumbled across Sean Elliott at a movie theater, you know,
thirteen years old, you just happened to look. You see that,
you see a shadow, You turn and you're like, look,
hey you're someone. Hey you're Sean Elliott. Hey you're Victor woman.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
So but anyway, Wamby decided to do I guess it's
called a bicycle kick for soccer. Yes, and uh and
he failed miserably. Yes, he kind of whiffed at this.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
And of course everybody that is anybody that is looking
at this kind of holds their breath like, oh no,
didn't you just have a shoulder surgery because you had
a blood plot in your shoulder and you're doing scissor
kicks and a pick up a soccer game. Can back
away there a little bit please?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, yeah, you know it.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Unfortunately, we won't be talking to Doc anytime soon since
he's going on where was he going again?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Switzerland? Switzerland? That's right.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Hopefully maybe Doc is listening. I want I would love
some switch Swiss chocolate. But we can when we talked
to Doc again, we can just talk about the possible ramifications,
you know, landing on your tailbone.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yeah, well listen, here's ramifications. Scotty Shuffler decides to cut
an onion at Christmas and stabs himself in the hand
and need surgery for it, and took two months off
to give everybody a chance to catch up. Yeah, so
you can get hurt walking across the street.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
I get that, and I don't.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I'm not gonna tell Wemby at twenty one years older,
how old he is there going to be to not
live his life. And you can't live in a glass,
in a in a bubble and wrap yourself in a
at the them of a mind shaft hoping that nobody
finds you. Yes, you can get hurt playing the game.
You can get hurt off the game. And at his age,
he's likely to heal relatively quickly. He's never had any

(04:11):
debilitating injuries. Blood plots. The blood plot thing you couldn't
you couldn't foresee. But basically what everybody's saying is that
he had a pinch nerve in his shoulder or pinch
bone in his shoulder that was creating the area that
was causing the blood plot.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Easy fix. It's not like he had.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
You know, it's something in the legs or something like
Chris Bosh did or Alonzo Morning did where he has
to stop playing all activities immediately. So hopefully, but I
don't think you can ask anyone to kind of put
their life on hold now doing stupid things like jumping
out of an airplane or scuba diving, or riding a
motorcycle one hundred miles an hour, skiing, you know, things

(04:51):
like that. Those are in players contracts that they can't
do because you are putting yourself in harm's way. But
you could go to the gym and lift the weights wrong,
end up with a hernie or something and be out
for six months. Anything can happen like that, So I'm
not going to go to crazy about the fact that
that he did a scissor kick and missed. He was
able to get up and keep playing with the kids.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah, I don't have an issue with him playing soccer,
but you gotta be more responsible. You can't be doing
things like especially if something where you're throwing your body
in the air like that. And yes, you can say
Scotty Scheffler, you know, stabbed himself. But here's the difference.
Though Scotty Scheffler does that, he's only affecting Scotty Scheffler.

(05:34):
If Victor wemmen Yama does something, he's not just affecting
Victor woman Yama. He's he's affecting the San Antonio spurs
Like that's that's the big Still, just be smarter, Via,
be smarter. Uh, you live your life too, and live
your life. But just you know, think in the back
of your head, is this really a good idea? Should

(05:57):
I throw my body and potentially land on my head
or pull a red Panda and land on my wrist
and break my wrist and now I'm out summertime.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
He's got eight weeks to heal. Let's go, It'll be fine.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
No, I don't. I don't need that in my life. Andy,
I have enough stress in my life. I don't need
to be worrying about victim women Yama.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
All right, there's another free agent out there that we
like to the Spurs like him? And are they done
with their roster creation? As we get closer to the
end of September when training camp will begin, let's talk
about that.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Next, it's the Andy Everage Show on the ticket
