But I agree with him that the way that Chris
Paul was unceremoniously dumped is very Clipper like and yet
not surprising because it's for the Clippers.

The only surprising thing about it is it's not like,
you know, it's not like he's getting dumped by a
team he has no history or connection to. I mean,
they were less than a week ago they were putting
tweets out talking about how, you know, our franchise leader
is going to retire at home.

You know he's going to retire a Clipper like it
must have been.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
It must have gotten so bad so fast for them
to do this that Again, I am patiently waiting, rapidly
waiting to see what else comes out from behind the
scenes because there's no explanation. Besides, it was really, really toxic.

Yeah, but how do you get that way with a
veteran player and a veteran team.

My guess is, specifically a couple of those guys at
the top of the roster. We're tired of hearing forty
year old Chris Paul playing less than ten minutes a
night complain about their defense or effort or execution on
offense or all.

This if the effort is bad and the execution is bad,
and the forty year old coach a player coach sitting
on the bench can figure it out. If you'd like
to be in the league for twenty years and do

but I can't confirm it anywhere. I just was, yeah,
that's gotta be fake, because because where's he going to
get traded to the Lakers. He's not leaving Lay. He

I don't think he got homesick as And as he
