Thursday: Wrapping up the show

this game, it seems like, and they've got another one
that I don't think they're gonna get overturned. Looks like that,

If Chicago holds on to win this game, where San

Diego comes back, they get the Milwaukee's. The winner of
this series goes to Milwaukee for the weekend games. We'll
get all the times when all that's playing. I mentioned
earlier when we had Kevin Coppa on Kevin's The Voice
of the Tiple ows, you've got utsa football and Lincoln
Financial at one o'clock on Saturday Eastern time, probably in

the late early evening, late evening, you're gonna have Philadelphia
and the Dodgers and the Sports Complex in Philadelphia if
you've never been there, Lincoln Financial Field, Wells Fargo Arena,
and Capital Cistins Bank Park. They all share the same
parking lot. Now it's a seven acre parking lot, but

there's three arenas and they're just kind of like in
a triangle and all kinds of different parking lots. Fortunately,
we'll be on a bus with a police escort to
the airport as soon as we're done, so we don't
have to worry about traffic. But there's going to be
a bunch in that area. And then the very next day,
well all that's going plus the NHL's Flyers are playing
a preseason game there and the next day the Broncos

are taking on the Eagles in the one o'clock game,
and what is the main CBS game for their their
one o'clock slot. So there's a lot of activity going
around there and probably the probably and it all starts
with a Temple game with UTSA. This game for Saturday
is as I said many times this week, I think

this These are must wins. These first two games against
Temple and Rice are must wins. I don't take anything
away from Temple or Rice. I think the Temple especially
has improved. I'm not sure whether Rice has or hasn't.
I haven't paid a lot of attention to them. There
are two wins against Howard and UMass were kind of expected.
There are two losses to Georgia Tech and to Oklahoma

were certainly expected as well. They did get you to
come there as part of the two for one. But
this is a game that UTSA has to figure out
a way to win on the road, and I do
believe if they can figure out the passing game, they
need to get a little bit better with that than
they did against Colorado. That opens up things for Robert
Henry and lets him run the offense. If they can
play as well as they did against Incarnate Word and

even against Texas State and for that matter, Texas A
and M, I think they'll win this game by a
couple of scores. If the offense bogs down and you're
on the road in a conference game, that's always a
difficult situation to come back from. Defense is playing better,
and if they can get something that no one else
has done, get a couple of takeaways, that would be huge.
But this is a great opportunity for the road winners

to get off to a one to h start. I
didn't realize this until Jeff mentioned it last night. This
is his sixth season coaching the Roadrunners, and five of
the six years UTSA is open conference play on the road.
We've got to fix that next year. I mean, do
they not know who you are? My god? What the hell? Andy? Well,
I don't care about me. The fact that you've played

five out of six years starting on the road is ridiculous.
I can't even remember the last home opener. We don't
have to go back and look at that, but yeah,
to have to open on the road. And last year
they opened on the road at East Carolina and that
was a game that they could have easily won and
just had too many mistakes in the second half to

get the job done. And I had a good opportunity
to do that. You got to get off to this
great start, get off to one and oh, get off
to two and oh, and then the gauntlet comes with
at North Texas, home with Tulane, and at South Florida.
And if they can get even of those first five games,
if they can be five and oh or four and one,
this is a conference championship contender. If they can't, then

you're just you want to get the best bowl game
that you can, but it starts with a road game
that you should be able to get. Well, you know,
can't win them all, but you can't win the first
